We booked a table for 7am — the staff didn't arrive until 7:10! food took forever, wasn't great when it finally turned up. Went to pay and was advised that there was a public holiday soon (we were there on 21 December) so we had to pay a surcharge… the food that turned up wasn't what was on the menu. A very disappointing morning.

Great food great prices. Nice outdoor and indoor seating friendly staff.

We waited 2 hours for our meals this morning while other people who arrived after us got served.
Eventually we got our meals one by one and about 10mins apart
Staff were unapologetic and didn't seem to really know what was going on. We won't be coming back.

We came here for breakfast today and waited 2 hours for our meals. Unapologetic and food wasn’t as good as I remembered which was disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

My partner and I have fallen inlove with Salamanca Wharf Cafe! Brunch has been consistently delicious; coffee amazing and the only way to start the day; service never short of genuine smiles happy to cater to all needs. What more can you ask for? We will be sure to return every time we are in Hobart!

Johnny who owns this Cafe and the Chinese restaurant at Lawnton recommended this place, “well he does own it” when we told him that we where coming to Hobart for a week, the meals are very nice with large portions.

All round quality food drinks and service, sometimes a bit slow when your in a hurry, maybee should change to ordering at counter.

Great place, lovely vibe in the heart of all the action. Be mindful they use a car stacker so try to ensure ur vehicle isn't over 5 m In length or you won't fit in. Would stay again!

Super helpful staff, nice rooms, well stocked minibar, great location, quiet rooms, good (not great) shower, totally functional galley-style kitchenette. Oh, and the car-stacker parking is fun if you haven't used one before :)

Myself and my cousin went to the cafe today with our little ones in tow. And all I can say was WOW, how amazingly inviting the waiter was. He accommodated our kids needs (space for a pram) and went way beyond ensuring we were comfortable and the kids were ok. Engaging in conversation with us and the kids. He was Fantastic and an asset to the cafe!

Spacious rooms. We got a studio on the top floor with a beautiful kitchen, and a nice little balcony. Convenient location. Nice high tech automatic car park.

Loved this hotel! Fantastic location. Easy to get around and just walk to wonderful attractions and eateries in Battery Point and Salamanca precinct. Rooms were scrupulously clean, bright and modern. Staff at front desk were wonderful! Helped with any enquiry and nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to go back there again!

The food and service at this cafe were amazing. I was extremely excited by my food. It looked amazing, tasted even better and was so great value for money. Coffee was delicious and I loved the bright colours of the mugs. All in all an amazing experience and I highly recommend this cafe.

Great service, fair prices. Could do with little work around to make more room as quite crowded. That would be because it's so popular though so its a negative from a positive.

Easy access and no fuss, checked in and out without any face to face contact. Over the phone contact only and very pleasant with a great room close to Salamanca.

After an initial mix-up of rooms, the hotel has done everything possible to rectify the situation. I ended with a lovely Studio Apartment — beautifully clean, great amenities — perfect for a weekend in Hobart. Chelsea on reception has been extremely helpful, and is an asset to the hotel.

Comfortable but not luxury. Well located just to the side of the famous Salamanca area in beautiful Hobart. The rooms are nice and relatively comfortable. Nothing luxurious about them and the hotel itself is limited on facilities but it's pleasant and okay value. A few better places opening in Hobart soon / which will be far more expensive but if you're into luxury accommodation look elsewhere — if your looking for comfort and value this is a good place to stay.

Clean, modern, good value and perfectly located.

Clean and spacious rooms in a great location. Parking was made available and added to the convenience greatly. Apartment was well appointed with dishwasher, washer/dryer etc. Only downside was the bed being very very soft which may suit some. Hobart is somewhat lacklustre but this hotel made it bearable.

The facilities at this hotel are outstanding! The rooms have been stylishly decorated. They offer very comfortable apartment accommodation in a hotel that is conveniently located in the heart of Hobart. The price I got was very competitive and the staff were very friendly too.
