Absolutely loved staying at Lenna Of Hobart the room was just beautiful, loved the atmosphere the historical building the gardens. The food was great. And eateries within walking distance. The staff where very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend Lenna of Hobart. 10 out of 10

We only had one night here but we throughly enjoyed it. The main house is beautiful and the new rooms added on are built very well and the whole thing works well.
We enjoyed a very nice dinner and breakfast.
My only negative would be if premium gin is being served more attention to detail needs to be made when making a G&T. We paid for the best Tasmanian gin but we might just as well have had Bombay Sapphire. The gin market is huge now and you need to get onto it’s done make more sense f it.

A heritage hotel built with sand stone. It situated on the gentle slope overlokking the Hobart wharf, just a few minutes walk from the Salamanca Market. You can enjoy the quiet environmrnt all the day. The check-in procedure was completed by a staff who was very friendly. The room was clean, neat and tidy. The bathroom and the sanitary wares were spotless. Ventilation inside the bathroom was good. You would find the mirror was clear after hot shower. There was illumination rings around the electic switch buttons so you could find them easily in the dark. The decoration of the room was great and there were some photos to remind you some information of old Hobart. Wi-Fi was fast and stable.

A historic hotel right in the heart of the action of Battery Point and Salamanca. Great friendly service.

Stayed in a room on the fourth floor looking out at the pier. Lovely view! Room is well kept and the hotel is really pretty.

What a find this turned out to be. Within walking distance of Salamanca Square and some of our favourite restaurants in Hobart, we found the Lenna and her staff to be absolutely delightful during our recent 3 night stay. Rooms were a good size, great facilities and quaint bar.

The Lenna was just perfect for our 7 day getaway to Hobart! The friendliest staff who were more than willing to help, the location was just fabulous and the family suite suited all our needs. We can't wait to return!

Really one of the best experiences we've had in tasmania. The hotel is in the right place to experience the beauty of battery point. The staff was really helpful as well.

My choice every time in Hobart. Nice classic facade… Classy, good views… Great accessibility to Salamanca, Battery Point and easy walk to Sandy Bay food area. 2 minute walk to the Salamanca markets every weekend!

I did not stay at Lenna, but at Salamanca terraces. I checked in at Lenna reception for my visit and had dinner in the lounge. The night staff were amazing and super accommodating. And the food was delicious.

I felt welcomed as soon as I walk in the front doors, fantastic atmosphere great staff, great food great wine. After dinner I sat by the fire and had a couple for reds.

The service was great. The room was exquisite. Over all my expectations were met or exceeded. I would highly recommend it as place to stay especially if you want to be well situated in Hobart.

Poor customer service. My partner took me away to Hobart shortly after my mum died to ease my mind. I booked a hotel not realising he'd already done so, and obviously not thinking straight, was charged around $300 for not cancelling the booking. After explaining to reception why I hadn't remembered that I made the booking & that I never received a notification reminding me of any upcoming booking nor any notification that they were charging me any fees, she just shrugged and said it was too bad and that was how it works. Zero customer service. Zero human empathy.

Perfect location, stunning views over Hobart and a gorgeous hotel with so much character! I loved the lookout in the main hotel, it's worth climbing the ladder! I suggest a morning walk through the gorgeous park next to the hotel and up through Battery Park.

We spent here one of the most beautiful times of our life! The hotel is sweet, comfortable and very clean; the staff is professional and kind. Moreover the position is great for visiting Hobart and its surroundings. If we'll be that lucky to visit again the city for sure we'll choose Lenna again! Down in Hobart for a few nights it seemed a good idea to go to a nice restaurant. We arrived to a practically empty place and sat in the centre of the large dining area. Although slightly cold we assumed it would soon warm up as it was 6 o'clock, a time guests should have been arriving. Perhaps the population of Hobart (as well as the hotel guests? ) had already been tipped off, but our meal was the worst I have ever experienced. My friends ordered a variety of choices, including seafood, chicken and steak. I asked if there was anything vegetarian, and I guess the cook thought that meant lentils, because sure enough, that was the plate bought before me. Sat in a under cooked capsicum, I began eating what I assumed would be some hidden secret sauce or spices to address the deplorable visual presentation. I was wrong, very wrong. It was indeed plain lentils! And with a rather strange aftertaste that I assumed later, after vomiting in the car park (this is unfortunately true) must have been from age or mould (or both). Others at my table were not quite as disappointed, but far from delighted with their meals. With only two other tables occupied by the time we left (me feeling curiously giddy at this stage) I had no issues worrying if anyone saw my reactions in the car park. Laying in the rear seat on my way home with my stomach ALMOST as empty as my wallet I pondered how a place could dare charge the sort of prices they do and offer up such a miserable excuse for food.

Structurally brilliant site. Great atmosphere. I didn't actually stay here, I'm an engineer and was helping supervise construction on site, but I'm sure its great.

A lovely hotel, conveniently located in the tourist district of Hobart. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. The room was lovely and clean, good views, comfortable bed. The staff were nice and helpful.

We stayed in the king suite on March 5. For a room that was $495 for 1 night I must say we were very disappointed. The room was so stuffy. No aircon. Floor heating that cant be adjusted. So to create air movement the room has a fan. The fan was a very cheap brand that didn't oscillate, due to being faulty. We filled out our room service menu for breakfast to hang on the door as instructed. We wake up expecting to have breakfast waiting for us. I open the door and the menu is still hanging on the handle. Very over priced for a very average stay.

We were stunned by how wonderful this hotel was. The public rooms were beautiful, the motel room that we had was clean and spacious with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The staff were incredibly helpful, the food was delicious and reasonably priced and the views and location were perfect. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary here and it was the best decision we could make. We highly recommend this establishment. Thank you, Lenna!

Spent the weekend here on 13th and 14th of Feb. 2016. The moment we entered the room we could see that the bedding had not been changed from the previous guests. There were stains and hairs throughout the bedding. We complained and of course the bedding was changed straight away. Not a very good start to the weekend away. Very poor service and not really much of an apology. There was no air conditioning which also didn't match the price to stay here. Overall not that great.
