Great facilities, bar and restaurants.

An older hotel which has had some improvements done. Bathrooms need regrouting and some sort of exhaust for steam. Beds were comfy, everything you’d expect from a basic hotel. The pool area was great, but the best part of this hotel was the Hanuman restaurant — the food was outstanding!

The staff have been friendly and restaurants within are delicious.

The staff were helpful, even though a lot of us arrived on a bus tour, at the same time. Check in went well and we had our meals delivered to our room.

This hotel took an amount of $250 on our credit card against our room. We checked out on June 26th and are still waiting for our refund. Currently 16 working days later. We were told 3 days to get refund. Have rung and so has our travel agent and have been told nothing they can do will be refunded when they get round to it.

It’s a great to stay with great friendly staff.

My stay at this hotel was impeccable. The rooms are lovely, the views are incredible, they have such amazing staff with next level hospitality. They are tentative, kind and helpful. They made the stay what it was. Congratulations to Hilton Doubletree Alice Spring for having such a great work force. 🥰

The hotel needs to hurry up and gear up for the return of tourists, the place is like a ghost town during the day nowhere to eat or grab a coffee. Hotel service leaves a lot to be desired! Get your act together Hilton and start delivering some service for your all important guests who are your livelihood. No water available to purchase in the hotel except out of a tap and in town we could buy a bottle for only 99 cents. A basic requirement in this hot climate to provide guests with bottled water. Not happy with our time spent here.

Friendly staff, made my booking smooth.

So we are sitting here in our room that’s 26 degrees! Roasting! We have advised reception whose response was “ sorry there is nothing I can do” apparently I was 1 of many who complained. She then orders a heater to get dropped of to our room. She refused to call a refrigeration mechanic to come fix the problem and basically did nothing. I wouldn’t really call is Luxury.

Very friendly staff. Easy to get to and very clean and tidy. Staff are only too happy to help with anything.

It is a very nice and clean place. Bad things we found is that being unable to get staff they are flat out. Service is slow in the restaurant, breakfast time it takes a long time to remove the dirty dishes and replenish the food.

Great place for dinner and some predrinks food was great and fairly priced. We had an event after and the food was out fast and service was good. 🍸

Rooms do not match advertised pictures, very poor service in breakfast buffet, unhygienic towels left all day on hallway floor. Asked staff to move them and no one came.

Only just arrived but front desk staff lovely — nice spacious room and our evening meal was great.

We had the 5 course Valentines dinner at Saltbush yesterday and it was amazing! No complaints about mine and my partner's food at all. My partner is vegetarian and it's honestly hard to find good vegetarian food in this town, kudos to kitchen team behind our super delicious meal. Shoutout to Amrit who made sure we were having a very nice, romantic experience the whole night. Thank you Saltbush!

We were at Double Tree 3 weeks ago. It was an enjoyable experience especially for my son who even cried on the day that we are leaving. I wish we stayed longer. As in weeks not 5 days Good location. Nice comfy beds. Helpful Reception Staff — Andrew Night Manager assisted me at 4am for my outback balloon trip check in. Breakfast buffet was very good! I just thought that maybe in room dining can help and assist us with the reheating of foods. Or maybe provide microwave ovens in the rooms. I will definitely come back.

I found reception not helpful at all. No assistance with luggage even though y9u are in the outside buildings very far from reception. Non challant attitude. Had to ask for complimentary cookie even though some gets in full view. Rooms not cleaned, only replace towels, but leaves tables dirty. I left a dead insect in full view that was in my room. Cleaners didn't bother to sweep it up. Only plus was the manager of the Saltbush restaurant called Rauvan. He saved a day everytime, intervening to do what reception didn't do. He went out of his way back to assist us even though it wasn't his job. Disappointing since I've always come to this hotel. Service has deteriorated.

Had a mountain view and it was beautiful. Clean and tidy rooms. Very comfortable beds. Lived the complimentary cookie upon arrival too. Went down well with my cup of tea. Thank you.

This place is sooooo nice and the rooms are brilliant and huge and the bathroom is also and the balcony, the decor just amazing and on top of this the reception was great and then I got room service for my dinner and the food was so delicious. The menu is a wide variety and open all night for room service too, I just couldn’t fit in the dessert so I didn’t order one, but next time I will. This is a must hotel to stay at, I just have to work out how to join the hotel club group for benefits. Just amazing, I’ll have the best sleep ever.

The staff, including the cleaning staff were friendly, and quick to offer assistance. A little annoyed that when you book a room for three, you still only get 2 cookies and have to chase down an extra towel.

The Rooms are amazing and perfect for family and the service is beautiful I just love everything about Double Tree by Hilton. I can not stay more then blessed the owner and the Manager.

While checking into the Hilton I was walking towards my room which is miles away from reception. I asked a staff member for assistance for a trolley and he said “They are at the front door if I wanted to walk back there” I said “I’m not leaving my bags in the middle of the hall” which he relied “Put it in my dirty laundry basket trolley (which was fully of dirty laundry) and I’ll take it to you room” I said “No thanks I’ll drag it to my room. By the way what is your name” He then pretended not to understand the question and we played ‘ask the same question four different ways till he told me his name’ game. I then proceeded dragging my bags to the room.

Beautiful meal and very helpful staff.

We stayed here on our trip and it really was very nice. The location is fantastic. The rooms are so clean comfortable beds and buffet breakfast restraints entertainment. Awesome gym pool sauna spa. Highly recommend staying here.

Nice standard hotel facilities, restaurants are often described as booked out by staff despite half the tables being empty, the location is suboptimal given its distance from the town centre (20 minute walk) and the absence of affordable transport options. A regular shuttle bus would significantly improve the experience of staying here.

I can’t speak highly enough of the wonderful team at DoubleTree Hilton Alice Springs. We had booked at a different hotel, but had problems with our reservation. In perhaps the busiest week of the year here, DoubeTree found us a free room, and even gave us a discount to match the price of where we had originally booked! Then they threw in free Wi-Fi. Then they sent a bottle of bubbly up to the room to say sorry for the problems we’d had (at the competing hotel! ) What a bunch of champions. Can’t wait to stay here again on our next visit… and visit resident groundskeeper Andrew (the) Peacock of course!

Nice place. We were on a driving holiday only setback was all the items they'd put in the fridge. Ordered room service for dinner which was delicious.

Nice enough but rooms are very tired and in need of a do over. Grout in bathroom mouldy, carpets worn and joins covered with tape — not exactly what I expect of the Hilton. Breakfast was good however the coffee is luke warm — make your own with the boiling water on tap. I found it very disappointing that both restaurants do not offer gluten free meals or options with only one vegetarian meal on the menu. Not good enough in this day and age! Get with the times Hilton.

Stepping into a bath tub for a shower is painful, especially after a long day of travel and/or hikes and climbing on & off the bus. The room is quiet, clean and comfortable other than that. Saltbush restaurant over-rates itself. Lovely serving staff but for breakfast it is hard find water, juice etc and no-one explained the omelette bar. You have to rely on other patrons to give you information, I've had breakfast their twice & didn't realise you could order one to your o…wn taste. Dinner has been nice, at least the beer battered fish came with a good salad but the beef cheek had 7 gnocchi and a single slice of carrot… Could the staff recommend side dishes at least? As a guest I have helped several no Australian guests find their rooms, use their door cards & open doors into the pool area… Clearly the service isn't up to the price. Wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

Comfortable hotel though a bit tired and worn out. Could do with a refurbishment. However its one of the cheaper hotels in Alice Springs. Check in is quick and painless. Depending on where your room is there is a bit of a hike to your room. Situated on large grounds. Parking for guests can become quite competitive with local diners and holiday makers eating at one of the restaurants here… between 6 and 9 pm the parking lot is full and frustrating for a paying guest. In all, for the price its pretty good. Have stayed here twice now.

Great hotel, nice (but slow) staff. The rooms were comfortable and big but the bed was on the soft side and too warm for the avarage temperature on this side of the country, it can be loud depending on the neighbor, the balcony door doesn't slide and seal properly. Slow check-out and the breakfast box is surely not worth 20$ on stuff, very crappy I should add. Didn't have time to try the pool but it looked nice and inviting, the same for the restaurant and bar. Will be staying there in some night and hopefully I will have a great stay, better than the last one.

The reception staff are really helpful and nice. I didn't like the shower in my room though. And the carpet had big stains all around on the floor. There is Henry the resident peacock which gives the place a cool kind of excitement.

Hotel is in a great location. However is very old and dated. Needs a renovation badly. I stayed in a king junior suite and the furniture seemed to be from the 90s.

Good location outside of the Town center. Rooms were clean and spacious. Ample complimentary parking available. Pool and laundry facilities were a plus. Meets it's four star rating.

Well I went to the restaurant for an anniversary I had a yummy satay bit long to wait but it was busy anyway.

Absolutely loved my short stay here. Compared to other hotels in the area, this hotel is a class above the rest despite matching prices. Restaurants are great, staff is friendly, beds are supremely comfortable, gardens are beautiful, pool and a 24 hour gym are always nice to visit and there is local wildlife including a majestic male peacock that visits in the afternoon.

The swimming pool is great. There is a peacock which is beautiful. It's like an oasis in desert.

Good location. The hotel service is very good, the size is not small, the Indian-Vietnamese restaurant is OK. Don't have a scene at the pool table.

A good hotel in the vicinity of Alice Springs, located on the same street as the casino, which is just 300 meters away.
The hotel has a large entrance, inside the reception and two restaurants, one with European and Australian food, the other Asian.
Leaving the reception, behind we find a swimming pool, not a new one but on the other hand the entrance into the water is comfortably through a staircase. Near the pool there is a bar, and all around it extends the hotel.
Overall there is also a gym.
Among the advantages there is the swimming pool, the restaurants, the very kind staff, the proximity of the casino and also a golf course.
Among the flaws surely the style does not stand modern especially inside, and then to reach the center of Alice Springs Walk it takes no less than thirty minutes.

Stayed here for 3 days while we took a trip to Uluru. The hotel is nice and the rooms are spacious. The pool area is excellent. It is a little bit out of town about a 15 min walk but apart from that it is Great!

Clean and comfortable room, a bit of a walk from reception. The breakfast is complete and of a pretty good quality.

Big name, otherwise not exactly up to date.

We loved our room, as we booked and paid for a range view king room. It was comfortable, awesome black out curtains, clean and a nice verandah to enjoy the view. However on check in we were offered what was described as an upgrade for an additional $25, telling us it was an amazing deal with breakfast, since we already had the room mentiond booked and paid for, we just figured this was an additional $25 per night. It ended up being per person per night. Would have been nice to receive more clear communication as thats a hefty jump charging someone an addition $50 per night for terms and conditions they're not aware of. And to be honest, we just paid for breakfast for two, not an upgrade as suggested, not a deal what so ever. The room we originally booked however was what we received. And enjoyed.

Beautiful hotel lobby with two restaurants. Rooms were pleasant, with nice sheets. It is an older hotel, but well maintained. Bit of a distance from the town center, so most likely will have to cab it.

Everything was very tidy. Beds were very comfortable. Had trouble with a guest of mine being charged for their room despite it being previously paid for though that was quickly rectified by Porschia at the front desk.

Double tree by Hilton Alice Springs is always a delight to stay at… would never stay anywhere else in Alice. Yes, it may be in need for refurbishment but the rooms are very clean and comfortable and staff are wonderful. Food at Deck Bar, which used to be awesome is now iffy, but last nights salt and pepper calamari salad was delicious as was the orange creme brûlée… the chef needs to be reminded to do the crunch on top, or it is just a custard… I sent mine back to have it fixed. Finished with an expresso martini which was yummy as always. Ignore any bad reviews, Double Tree is the only place to stay in Alice. Ask for a room with a pool garden view… they are the best.

Went to dinner at the deck restaurant with my father and wife. The service was superb ave the staff were really friendly and professional. The food was great and well presented. We will go there again.

Rooms starting to look a bit tired, but we had a mountain view room which was very spacious and a comfortable bed. Very clean and everything provided as you would expect from a Hilton hotel.

Very Spacious rooms, possibly the biggest available in Alice, with wonderful views. Great value for money. The interior furniture of the rooms could do with an update, considering its cane and they have been in continual use since the property was a Sheraton over 20 years ago. Great pool, bar and restaurant on site, and the grounds themselves are maintained well and very beautiful, lovely to see the peacocks wondering around.

Alright room, though I would say having no ceiling light was a "what the hell" moment, side table lights or desk lights definitely did not suffice! Very very big place, so many rooms and levels. The peacock was lovely. Slept alright. I think I expected more from a Hilton.

Very comfortable hotel, large rooms, and a great view. Staff were friendly and professional, though the buffet breakfast wasn't great. To be fair, Australian hotels tend to be generally bad at breakfast.

The hotel is beautifully maintained, as are the grounds and the pool. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The restaurants serve great food; booking for dinner is essential, which the staff point out during check in although this still seemed to confuse some guests.

Definitively a pleasant experience. Staff are courteous and has a great foyer with ambience and character. The rooms are always neat, clean and well prepared and provide feel-good comfort for tourist or traveller. Excellent setting for views of the MacDonnell Ranges and Golf Course at back. Love relaxing around the swimming pool, which is deceptive, looks small, but is actually a good size. Always enjoy my time at this hotel.

Very nice structure, lean acceptance and accompanied by the delivery of a welcome dessert. Rooms spread around the pool, spacious and furnished in a modern way. Breakfast very rich and varied. Very efficient staff and manager exquisitely helpful and shrewd in solving a problem created even for misunderstanding an employee.

Hanamans has some of the best food I've ever eaten. The oysters are great. The other restaurant is also very good. The breakfast though is a bit ordinary.

The booking service (overseas call centre) is very painful. And checking in takes longer than it should. But the rooms are nice and tidy, plenty big enough.

We have been coming to this hotel each year for several years. It is now showing distinct signs of being tired and dated. I am sitting in the lounge part of a two room suite. 37 degrees outside and the air conditioning is not working. They have been up once to fix it and within 10 minutes it stopped again. Not comfortable. Apparently, turning the kettle or iron on can trip the air conditioning off we have been told. The opposite problem. In the bedroom, for three days we were unable to turn the air conditioning off. A tap is dripping continually in the bathroom, a power point is not working at all. Mould around the tiles and rust on the fittings, architraves chipped in the bathroom. Lights permanently off in the lobby around the lifts, they are waiting for replacement parts. Only one towel in the bathroom for two of us when we arrived. Room service skipped our room one day. All little things that can be fixed by calling reception, but why should we have to? Hotels that pay attention to details should have that all covered.

Definitively a pleasant experience. I like the foyer; it has great ambiance and character. The rooms are always well prepared and provide all the needs of a tourist and traveler. Yes it is a little worn but it is irrelevant because it is a good hotel all round. I always enjoy my time here at this hotel.

Rooms are decent sized but are in need of renovation.

This is my favourite Hotel that I've stayed in Alice Springs. The check-in was fast and friendly with a welcome cookie. There was a lift to get up to my room on the third floor, where a beautiful garden view awaited me. The Room Service was great and I had a delicious meal of Thai Red Duck Curry and Bush Plum and Raspberry cheesecake — I'll definitely have that again. I've already booked to stay there again in May and I plan to stay there many more times in the future.

We only stayed one night but had a pleasant time. After a long drive through the dessert this was a welcome resting place. The rooms are a bit dated but clean. The staff are friendly and the location serene. The view from our room was magnificent with Mount Johns right in front of us.

Great hotel, a little older but outstanding staff, very helpful and friendly. 2 good restaurants within and good breakfast buffet. The gym is above average as there are a lot more weights and the golf course path is great for early morning runs. Will stay there again.

Accommodation dated but ok. Restaurant waiters struggle to speak English and can't understand your orders and then get it wrong with dear prices to boot.
