Rooms are modern, spacious, super clean and appliances are all new. I made a couple of extra requests which were handled immediately and in the true spirit of customer service.

Nice location and rooms. Coles just across the road. The service for cleaning during my 5 night stay was a bit casual about taking the towels on the floor would be the only slight negative on my stay.

Great place to stay when travelling to Mackay with a large family. With 8 of us in the house, we never felt overcrowded or cramped.

Enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay at this house again.

Paul was a highlight of the wedding we attended last night! From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a fantastic time.

We recently stayed here for a couple nights. The room was quite spacious and well kept, also loved the bonus of having a washer and dryer.

We had our daughters 21st at the Metropolitan last night 13/6/2026 and I could not fault a thing. The platters were amazing and great value for money.

Living amongst traffic with a building not meant to cope with it. Residents are given the option to park in the middle of the street, yet are readily used by visitors as a free parking option.

Cute little motel and easily accessible. Rooms are beautifully clean and comfortable. Love the original details, feels extra homely. Will be requesting to stay every time we pass through town now.

We had an unscheduled visit to Mackay and were in need of accommodation at short notice. Most accommodation in town was fully booked due to a large sports carnival in town.

Very happy with our stay here. Room was clean with plenty of space and all the expected amenities.
Check in was a breeze and the receptionist was lovely.

Great place to stay. Stayed there for 1 night on a work trip and it will be my go to place in Mackay on any future trips. The lady at the front desk was lovely, the rooms are big, modern and clean.

This is the best accomation on your trip. Room is great size very clean, everything you need for selft catering. Bed was very comfortable shower was also good.

Quite a good room but the TV didn’t work. Convenient with The Shamrock Hotel across the road for a good feed. Quite spacious and comfy bed.

We recently stayed at the Tropic Coast Motel for one night while my daughter had a specialist medical appointment, and it was exactly what we needed.

Decent motel, bed was a little too soft for me. Probably good for others.

Easy access to rooms, basic but clean — I was told no daily service however my towels were changed daily so — bonus if you need that.
Breakfast bar but no evening meals, pool on location too.

I had a wonderful experience at the International Lodge Motel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

I have stayed at International Lodge Motel several times and it continues to exceed my expectations.

Looks like you guys have done a lot of work renovating, nice job 👏… Loved everything about it. Only negative is now my wife wants one of those mirrors 😆

Very happy with our stay. I booked the family room and was very happy with it. Comfortable beds, good shower pressure, and very little noise from the main road.

We stayed as a group of three older ladies looking for an economical place to stay close to family for the weekend, and the Mackay Adventure Lodge was a fantastic choice.

Had a great stay at the lodge, comfy beds and pillows, free breakfast and a pool! Highly recommend the platypus tour and the wallaby sunrise with Michelle!

My 9 year old daughter had really wonderful things to say about our stay here. The staff were super lovely, the apartment was so spacious and she especially loved the pool.

Very clean and well equipped apartment. Absolutely everything we needed and so easy to walk out the back gate to the promenade walk to Caneland. We’ll definitely return.
