Really liked this apartment. Loved how there were two bathrooms and the washing machine and dryer. Loved how big the rooms were and just overall it was excellent. So nice having 2 heaters in the apartment and lovely waking up and it being nice and warm. Would come back here any time I’m here in Canberra.

Great location, met expectations. Large rooms, slightly dated condition but still good quality. Small carparks and "extra" parking fees were only significant detractors.

Lovely apartments stayed in a two bedroom one. False advertising about free wi fi, only get around 300kb then additional cost for more. Sauna not working, house keeping can be better, bed pull up but not made. No milk for the second stay, need to purchase. Required to also pay $15 a day for parking.

Not a bad place to stay but for the price I'd expect better. Outdated. Dirty — air ducts were filthy, clogged with dust etc. Towels had holes. Nice enough but to expensive for the quality.

Loved the large apartment with a great balcony, amazing view of Black Mountain with breathtaking sunsets. It was very comfy! Has a nice swimming pool and gym and is close to everything in civic. Will definitelly go back there!

We got away on a 4 day break to Canberra, The level we stayed on stunk around the elevator so bad that you wanted to vomit. Spoke to the young lady at reception about it and they said "We know! Sorry. " At time of booking requested car parking, no mention there was a $15 per day charge, you find this out when you check in! Defiantly a scam to me, extra $60. Room was okay condition, nothing to write home about. Beds are very firm, my kids woke up with sore back. Will give this hotel a miss next time.

Great location. Close to town. Spacious rooms. Very comfy beds. Room service was very attentive. Hotel facilities and common areas could do with a freshen up. Gym and saunas weren't working/operational. Overall a good place to stay for families or groups.

A little on the older side but comfortable and good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stay here every January and have always enjoyed our stay.

This place is way over priced for what you get. The location is fantastic, walking distance from the city centre but that's the only positive. Parking is an additional $15 a day not inclusive of the overall fee for the room. The Wi-Fi is sooooo slow. You can upgrade for an additional $10 a day. Everything about this place involves additional fees that you're not made aware of when you book. The facilities are also dated. The bathrooms were old and the not very clean. The gym is small with minor equipment. The staff are friendly but not overly helpful. I would not go back here.

Location is great. There is 24/7 mc Donalds downstairs. Its very close to the mall, eatouts and shops. It has paid parking facility as well. The rooms were spacious, neat and clean. The only bad experience I had was the noise level in the night from late night party goers in the streets. I did not get time to use the pool but it looked neat and clean. Overall a reasonably priced place, especially if you are in large groups.

Centrally located in the heart of Canberra Easy 5 — 10 minute walk to shopping mall movie theatre and restaurants. Parliamentary zone Aust War Memorial and Commonwealth park are roughly a 10 minutes drive from here. Be aware there is no free parking in Canberra! Hotel does provide parking at $ 15 per night. Two bedroom apartment was comfortable and has kitchen with all mod cons and two bathrooms (one of which has its own laundry facilities).

Large comfortable 2 bedroom &bathroom unit central to everything in the ACT. Easy to get around. Shopping mall and restaurants are a 5 minute walk. Only downside was that the pool was being repaired and was not available for use. Aside from that it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

The check-in process was smooth. The apartment is located outside of the air-conditioning access door, therefore at night when we got back, we noticed there are plenty of bugs and mosquitoes. I think the Mgnt should supply the insects repellent spray in each unit.

Booked this hotel because it advertised a pool, spa and sauna. The kids were very excited. We arrived to find these facilities were out of use and had been so for 4 months already. The website still shows photos and descriptions of the pool and we were not advised at any point that it was closed. We were not even advised at check in. I asked at reception about compensation and was told that I would need to speak to a manger, but she was not available. At checkout we were 15 mins late and were called to notify us we'd missed the check out. We advised we were packing up. 5 mins later, another call, and again every 5 — 10 minutes and they sent someone out to extract us at 11:45, It was difficult to pack our belongings and 2 children and leave, when we kept a having to answer the phone. Internet was slow and took a phone call to get it to work (to an outside provider) All in all not a great experience, and I'm not one to complain, 1 or 2 things you let go, but add it all up and it was worth a post. Now that I think about it we arrived late for check in on the Friday night and not sure if it's a dodger area but the double glass doors were locked from the outside, so it made a few trips back to the car with sleeping children hard at 11 pm in the cold waiting for someone to come and open it. We we're not the only ones, you would think they would just leave them open until everyone had checked in.

Perfectly fine accommodation in Braddon. Close to dining and being Canberra, generally close to everything. Rooms look little tired, but are spacious and comfortable.

Location is great, right next to the mall and main restaurant street. Rooms are nice and spacious but the smaller room in our 2 bed room apartment had no heating, which is ridiculous given sub zero temperatures in Canberra during winters. They also need to look into upkeep and refurbishment of the lobbies and apartments.

Apartment was a good size, staff were super friendly. The shower was one of the worst I've ever used.

Nice modern rooms. The reason I did rate 5 stars is the portable cot was not ready in the room as promised. The only staff available is the one at the reception. Finally it took us more than 1 hour to get a working portable cot.

Very nice staff and the room has a very modern feel. Very good living space for pur family. Very happy with our stay.

Stayed for two nights, Friday and Saturday. Very central location. Room is dated, however was comfortable enough. Spa needs a good deep clean, mould around the edges and some of the jets didn't work. Had to ask in the afternoon to have our room made up. Overall an average stay.

We had a terrible stay at the Medina only this week. A colleague and I travelled to Canberra on business and we are not hard to please but these were the issues we dealt with in just 1 night. 1. The air conditioner / heating didn't work in our room on a — 3 night 2. We had to move roomed hours after we arrived 3. The bedside lamp didn't work 4. The telephone was held together with sticky tape 5. The spa bath wouldn't turn off 6. There was only 1 young girl at reception after hours for the whole hotel and she had to deal with all these issues as she couldn't contact her manager 7. The complimentary milk for an apartment that slept 5 pax was no bigger then a match box. 8. We had to use our key to swipe for the lifts to get us to the parking and then had to drive all the way around the block to return them to reception 9. Upon arrival our rooms were freezing cold 10. The TV reception was very pixellated. Overall I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here unless they live their act considerably. Paul.

On first pass the room is clean and well stocked. The view is alright and the location is to die for. However being placed on on a corner and fronting 3 major roads the room is anything but sound proof. Following this the beds are very firm. This is why I would not recommend it to anyone who is a light sleeper or has trouble getting to sleep. For everyone else this is a great place to stay.

Lovely place with well mannered employees and a nice modern atmosphere. Parking was $15 per day and Wi-Fi was included for up to four devices (max 100mb over 24 hours). Wi-Fi didn't reach one of the bedroom which was a let down. Would recommend.

Centrally located, Medina provides clean and spacious serviced apartments for both short or long term stay. With all the amenities and close to shops and services, this place is worth looking into.

Was charged twice for parking, paid cash and they still debited my credit card, keep ringing them for refund ($45) now they are blaming the bank for their mistake, thats why I am reluctant to give out credit card details because of this problem, been over a week and still dont have my money back.

Worst hotel experience ever! Can't believe these guys are in business! Charge $15 for parking, rooms dirty and very dated, service staff argue with guests instead of solving problems. No customer service at all!

Be VERY CAREFUL with this Mob as there is NO REFUND and NO REBOOKING. Well we won't be staying here when next in Canberra. They wouldn't let me change dates due to 'no change no refund policy'. I hate prepaying for accommodation but didn't think I would end up in hospital right before our holiday. No compassion. I understand they have business to run but I am sure they could have moved our dates and still got new guests in for our dates.

Aweful! The rooms are the worst I've stayed in. Maintenance is non existent. After check in I had to raise 7 issues… door to balcony doesn't shut (won't lock so you're room is unlocked the entire time), cable on iron is damaged with all 3 wires exposed, bedside lamps power switch arcs turning on & off, fridge seal totally hanging off the fridge door, TV has aweful picture with snow over the screen and the list goes on. Very poorly stocked for a self contained apartment. Beds are as hard as a rock… may as well sleep on the floor. Furniture and items inside are the cheapest of the cheapest and appears they are very rarely updated. Noisy area at night with lots of yelling & screaming outside through the night. In short… It's a budget stay. Not worth more than $100 a night. Gave the hotel an opportunity to address the issues, asked for the manager to contact me but no response. One of the most disappointing stays I've ever had. Would never come back here. First Medina experience… won't stay at Median again in the future.

Huge 2 bedroom apartment spotlessly clean great customer service checkin hassle free close to everything a 5 minute walk into town.

Apartment is clean and tidy. Second room is a bit small. Handy for the cbd and the price is not too bad. Booked by phone and told to pay upfront but they didn't take payment and I had to pay on arrival which messed up my budgeting.

Our family w children and elderly were charged for watching adult movies in our room and the staff failed to produce document evidence for it. Even though they removed it from the bill they did not acknowledge that it was system error. I would not have paid even if it was a dollar by matter of principle. Overall rooms itself were satisfactory but they need to review their movie/internet system and train staff.

Nice, but definitely needs a bit of an upgrade. Also, who offers a spa but no bathrobes.

Rooms are quite nice, bathroom is in need of a reno, we stayed on the 1st floor above McDonalds, was quite noisy at night. Overall room was massive and good location.

Stayed there after making a last minute vacation detour to Canberra. We booked the room through the local Visitor Center. Second room was a little small and did not have any air conditioning. The main bedroom was ok with ensuite. Kitchen / lounge room was as good size. Only complaint was the air conditioning, both the unit in the lounge room and master bedroom were extremely noisy and did not heat the vey well at all. Very disappointing as the room was very cold in the middle of winter. Car parking available under cover at $8AUD per night. Reception friendly. Location was good and within walking distance to a few restaurants. If you don't feel like the walk there's a McDonald's on the ground floor. (you can even order it for room service)
