YAN HOTEL

Bathroom smelled of mold. Mattresses were stained. Breakfast was mediocre. If you consider this, the price was too high.

The hotel is located a bit far from the center but with taxi is very convenient and affordable to go to the city center. They were very hospitable and helpful during all my stay there. Thank you!

Nice receptionist, but poor condition of the rooms.
Here are some of the unpleasant issues we encountered:
— terrible smell coming from the toilet;
— dirt and hair in the shower;
— leaking showerhead;
— cobwebs;
— ants;
— broken coffee table;
— non-working lamp;
— stained mattresses covered only with a sheet;
— hair on the pillows under the pillowcases;
— the package with the disposable toothbrush was already opened.
We felt uncomfortable in the room and didn’t use the shower due to how dirty it was. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Very calm and beautiful place and nearby to the city. Hotel is cheaper and it is totally value of money.

The hotel is quite nice, homely atmosphere and good value for money, there is air conditioning in the room if it is cold, a refrigerator. Everything is clean, neat. Very welcoming and friendly staff! I lived on the second floor and I had a view of the buildings and in the distance the tops of the mountains were slightly visible in good weather. Also, the hotel had breakfast included in the price. As for the location, the hotel is located right behind the Ararat Museum on a hill, you need to go up to it along a wonderful serpentine road, ideal for walks on a summer morning and generally always. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the center, there is also a bus station nearby, from which you can go to the airport and other interesting places. The hotel is in a quiet place, you can always get there by taxi if you are too lazy to walk.

On October 12, I was passing through Yerevan and booked a double room with one bed in advance at Hotel YAN. Upon arrival, I was met by the friendly manager Alexey, who showed incredible hospitality from the very beginning. He gave me a tour of the entire hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised: the hotel turned out to be new, recently renovated and very cozy.
The hotel pleased with its cleanliness and comfort, the staff was always friendly and attentive. I would like to separately note the delicious breakfasts, which became a pleasant start to each day. Comfortable accommodation and the organization of transfers from and to the airport made the stay as convenient as possible.
My expectations from the hotel were completely exceeded. I definitely recommend Hotel YAN to anyone planning to stay in Yerevan.
