Red Hotel Yerevan Center

It is very good and walking distance to the city centre.
The owner was so kind and friendly.
During my stay for 3nights everytime I go to their reception,
The owner will always tell or asked me to come and seat relax in the garden because they garden will swimming pool.
The room I booked is exactly the same what is in their advertisements. The owner is friendly and very kind during my stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Yerevan. The staff were incredibly welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to others!

We booked Red Hotel via Yandex. Travel two months in advance, with full prepayment for 3 nights. We arrived in Yerevan one day later than scheduled — Saturday morning instead of Friday — but the reservation was never canceled, and the hotel had received full payment.
Upon arrival, we were met by a rude and uninterested man at reception who said: “Wait for the administrator until 10 AM. ” When the administrator finally showed up (most likely the owner), he started with: “Do you speak English? ” (despite the fact we had just spoken in Russian), and then coldly informed us:
“Your room has been given away. We have no availability. ”
We asked a simple, obvious question:
Why was our fully paid, non-cancelled room given away?
He shrugged and offered no explanation, no apology, no assistance.
We were left:
– With no room.
– With no refund.
– With no help.
– After a night flight, exhausted, in a city we don’t know.
We spent six hours walking through Yerevan trying to find another hotel — everything was booked solid or outrageously overpriced. Some didn’t even answer the phone. We were finally helped by completely unrelated staff at another hotel, who gave us a private room intended for a friend.
Red Hotel showed:
– Zero customer service.
– Zero responsibility.
– Zero integrity.
Honestly, even a cheap hostel would have been more transparent and respectful.
Never again. Avoid this place at all costs.

😓 Please don’t make the same mistake I did – do NOT book this hotel!
I made a reservation a month in advance and thought everything would be fine. But on the day of my arrival, the hotel messaged me saying: “We have a technical issue, please cancel your reservation. ” 😡
I checked and saw that the hotel is still active on Booking and other platforms, and the rooms are still available — so clearly, they just chose not to accommodate me.
I contacted Booking. Com several times, but haven’t received any response yet. I hope they will take appropriate action and penalize such irresponsible hotels that leave people stranded like this.
Unfortunately, there are no available rooms anywhere in the city — everything is fully booked.
I never imagined I would end up literally on the street…

Hospitality was so nice and the owner MR Hakop so kind and helped a lot, and my best regards to MR Gevorg for his kind service and support, the place has warm atmosphere and the price fair enough, only the location little far from city centre but with using yendex go for taxis we didn’t feel this problem.

Totally a disappointment, what you see in the pictures not real, the hotel is depressing, the rooms are small with a window that shows all the who ever walks nearby ur room. The swimming pool dirty never been cleaned. I had to cancel and book another hotel with same price but worth it.

There was one guy hes friendly and he explained well, unluckily the hotel wasnt the same as pictures.

EXTREMELY BAD! I really don’t understand how this place was even qualified as a hotel!
My husband and I booked the place through Booking. Com.
Having grown up in Yerevan I should’ve remembered the location — unfortunately, even though it still counts as extended city center, it is really not that well located and if one wants to walk to the city center it’s a good 20+ minutes walk through bumpy streets. Not the best experience for a tourist.
However, location was only the small part of the problem. When we arrived, we couldn’t find anyone to check us in for a while, even though it was early evening. After a while an elderly guy came who was as far from being professional and polite as possible. He shows us two rooms that were nothing like what we saw on Booking. Com.
They were not clean, the air conditioning didn’t work and the bathroom smelled bad. Moreover, we noticed some very suspicious people around, like in one of the ground floor rooms there were several guys who were not fully dressed and didn’t look sober either. Long story short, we cancelled our booking immediately (after a very intense and again not so professional conversation with the owner or whoever he was) and had to look for another hotel. I strongly advise the owners of the place to get their business straight and hire someone professional if they cannot handle customers. And please, don’t lie on photos. People will eventually end up at your place and see everything with their own eyes.

We stayed in this hotel for almost two weeks. We arrived to check in at 3 am, after the plane… We were greeted warmly and checked in right away. Helped organize late dinner and early breakfast. Payment is convenient in any set, prices are quite affordable. The location is quite convenient, all the main points of the capital are within walking distance. We used the shared kitchen and refrigerator both in the room and in the common area. We also cooked on the grill in the courtyard — all this thanks to the hospitable and hospitable hosts. Those who want to save money, but without losing comfort, are a good option.

The Red Hotel is a family run establishment providing good en-suite accommodation at a reasonable price. It is quietly situated 30 minutes from the centre of Yerevan. Staff were friendly & you could buy a beer to sit by the pool. Great value.

Tge location of the hotel was great. It is near center like by an 10 minutes on foot you will be in republic square. The hotel has a great pool with beautiful yard. It was worth of satying. There is also a parking place shere you can park your car. It was really amazing it worts of stay. I recommend you to come and stay here.

Excellent place, very chilled with a pool so perfect for hot summer days in Yerevan!
The place is family owned and everyone is super friendly! The family had dinner and gave us a plate of their food. Me and my wife felt very welcome and we will definitely come back when in Yerevan.

Clean comfortable rooms, excellent English breakfast, service in Russian, relaxation area, swimming pool. Wi-Fi works, although only in the room. Walking distance to the city center (20 min). Payment is cash drams only.

The location is very badly managed and it is just a total scam. I should have looked up more reviews, because this happens more often. The personnel is rude, we had to wait very long for check in and the room was dirty. The worst, they charged our rooms twice and we found this out when coming back home. They never responded on our request transfer the money back.
I have only great experiences in Armenia, but this was the complete opposite. It's a shame.

DO NOT TRUST THIS HOTEL.
They didn't let us pay by credit card, even though Booking said yes. We paid in cash, and two days later, they charged my card. Now neither they nor booking (which is the platform through which I booked) are responsible, after being able to verify both parties, that in effect they have charged me twice. I have sent messages to the hotel through booking, and they don't even respond, but the most serious thing is that both booking and Red Hotel claim that in fact I paid twice, that by mistake they charged my card.
The hotel says that it has to be managed by booking and booking that the hotel has to do it. The hotel does not respond and booking says it cannot do anything if they do not respond. SAD BUT REAL!
Besides, it is not close to the center, as they say. There is absolutely nothing in the surrounding area, not even a mini supermarket, nothing at all. But the pool space is nice.
