Opera Suite Hotel

Very good location, clean room with great view, we stayed for almost a weak and they cleaned the room every day, good breakfast, polite and helpful personnel. The heat didn’t work and the furniture was damaged. Very good in the city centre.

Positives.
-Location central but about 20 minutes walk to anywhere you want to visit.
-Large room.
-Kettle, tea and coffee provided.
-Breakfast is average but only one coffee machine to always long queues for it.
-Staff really friendly and helpful.
Negatives.
-Uncomfortable broken mattress but bed was huge so we just didn't sleep on that bit!
-Only two very thin pillows.
-No plugs by bed to charge phones.
-Full sized fridge in room but could only plug in kettle or phone if unplugged fridge as no power points.
-Had dinner on our first night, huge restaurant but at 8.30pm not a single person in it, we weren't sure if it was open! Did sit down and ordered some food, no ambience as felt we were sitting in an empty hall, but then an older lady came in and started playing the piano which was really loud so we couldn't even talk to each other! Just ate as quickly as possible and left, very strange experience.
-Thought we'd try the Sky bar one night after dinner, lovely bar but horribly loud grunge music from live DJ, couldn't talk to each other and really out of keeping with the venue. Prices astronomical so didn't order and just got up and left!

Staying in this hotel is incredibly frustrating. The room is unbearably hot, making it nearly impossible to sleep and the staff are completely unhelpful. Instead of offering a real solution, they just insist on opening the window, which only lets in insects. It’s unacceptable and shows a total lack of care for guest comfort.

Large room with a living room and huge bedroom. Location is great. View is very nice overlooking the cascade. Only problem was that ac was not working very well in the bedroom.

Excellent location, spacious room, and the bedsheets and towels were extremely clean. Having a free allocated parking spot was a big plus.
However, the air conditioning didn’t work well, there was no ventilation in the bathroom, and the living room furniture felt a bit chaotic compared to the pictures online. The Lungo coffee machine was a nice touch, but unfortunately, no capsules were provided.

We were in Yerevan for 2 days, for the Jennifer Lopez concert and stayed at this hotel. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, the room is clean and huge, the breakfast is extraordinary. You guys are the best. Thank you.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Peaceful, spacious, clean! I wish I could have stayed longer. Service was excellent as well.

The air conditioning here is extremely weak. I couldn’t sleep here in June. The maintenance guy suggested I open the window but the sound of cars didn’t help. Best to make a reservation for only one night to see if it’s bearable for you then extend if it is.

Nice spacious room, great breakfast bar on the top floor with great views and open terrace, good location and a nice bar and terrace on the ground floor. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Rooms / suites are well appointed with their own kitchen and very nice bathrooms.

The location and cleanliness of the room were very good, but I felt uncomfortable because there was no cooperation between the staff. I requested the preparation of the breakfast box from the time of reservation, and even though I checked it at check-in and the day before check-out, it was not prepared. I only received an explanation from the staff that there was no cooperation, and there was no refund for the breakfast fee (I couldn't do it even though I made a local payment) and I didn't even prepare meals that could be prepared immediately, such as fruit and bread. I booked this hotel because I heard that the breakfast box was ready, so I felt very uncomfortable to be made to pay for it in vain.

Would not stay here again. The hotel is in a great location with lots to do around it. It is an easy walk to everything. However, the hotel lobby is filled with smoke on entrance. So if you are not a smoker I would recommend staying somewhere else. All the elevators have the same problem. The rooms are large but not clean. We stayed there 4 nights and our sheets were not clean and were never given new clean towels. Even when asked to clean our room — there was nothing cleaned. Our sheets had a hole in them and that was how I knew they were not changed during our stay. We will return to Yerevan but we will not stay here again unfortunately because the location is quite good.

The hotel is already a bit older. So the rooms and everything are nice, but you can tell that it has been used already and it would need a fresh up. Staff was very friendly but overall I think they would need some more training. For example, that they know was checking in or that if your key card doesn’t work they know right away what to do.

Great hotel in a central location. Comfortable beds, hot showers, delicious breakfast and onsite bar and restaurant. Staff were helpful and there was no problem with language. The hotels location made it easy to walk to all the sights and tours.

Really charming hotel with very large and spacious rooms. The staff were very polite and helpful. The restaurant on the 12th floor was very good and the views from there were stellar! We really liked the fact that the rooms were quiet and that provided us with much needed rest!

Hotel location is excellent, you can walk through around to find nearby shops and restaurants in the city. Room was clean and has decent furnitures but not spacious enough. Breakfast options was fair and good quality.

This property doesn’t deserve to be in 4 star category. 1 star is more than enough. They don’t have staff. With the help of 3-4 people they are running the show. When you enter the hotel, there is bell boy or staff who can assist you with the luggage. Room size is good but bathroom is extremely small. Specially the shower area. Hot water tap doesn’t work properly. You get extremely hot or extremely cold water. There is no in between. If some one takes shower the whole bathroom gets filled with water. Breakfast is another horrible thing. We stayed there for five days. Every day it’s the same spread. And one person manages everything. If you need anything you have wait for very long time. They have hardly anything for Vegetarians. Me being vegetarian I survived on rice porridge. Swimming pool is not included in the stay. They charge extra. Gym is completely broken. Not even one machine is in working condition. There is a club in top floor, they play very loud music till 1-2am so don’t even get good sleep. Only good thing about this property is the location. It’s in walking distance of cascade and republic square. I don’t suggest this place to anyone.

Our stay at the hotel was overall peaceful and enjoyable. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and smooth, setting a great tone for our visit. While the assistance on the first day was not up to par, as the staff member seemed forced to work, the service from another bellboy on the last day was exceptional and truly stood out. Special thanks to the housekeeping team for their commitment and care, which made our stay even more comfortable. The only area that could use improvement is the breakfast variety and options. With a bit of an upgrade in this aspect, the experience would be even more delightful.
