Excellent service, friendly staff, and very tasty breakfasts.
! But the rooms are very dirty!
I do not recommend booking the economy rooms. Everything there is in poor condition. Damaged furniture, dusty curtains, a dirty, worn-out carpet, and stained walls.
Only the bathroom was in good, clean condition.

We stayed at the Metropol Hotel in Yerevan, and it was a wonderful experience.
The room was incredibly spacious, decorated in a classic style with an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. One of the best parts was the balcony with a stunning view of Mount Ararat and the Ararat Brandy Factory. In the morning you can simply stand there with a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the city and the mountains — truly special.
The hotel also has a very cozy spa area with a swimming pool and sauna, perfect for relaxing after a day of walking around Yerevan.
A particularly lovely touch was the attention to guests: on March 8th the hotel gave tulips to all guests and treated everyone to champagne and sweets. A small but very thoughtful gesture that created a festive atmosphere.
The hotel left a strong feeling of warmth and genuine hospitality — definitely a place worth returning to.

Metropol Hotel in Yerevan truly feels like a 5-star stay. The rooms are very spacious, beautifully decorated, and feel luxurious. I especially loved the decor—it really gives a high-end, elegant vibe. The sauna was an amazing bonus. Highly recommend.

The Hotel is very excellent. The staffs are very kind and friendly. The location is great for visiting the sightseeing. The standard rooms are very comfortable, cleanliness without any noises and the atmosphere of hotel is very nice. I can recommend the hotel which is very valuable for staying in Yerevan.

A wonderful, quiet hotel with an excellent breakfast. Cons: you can hear everything in the room, and the bed linens are a bit outdated.

I have been here for traning. Everything was organized smoothly. Thanks to the team and especially to Tigran the manager, Ashot and Mavrik waiting staff. Breakfast and lunch was great, too:delicious and presentable.

I stayed at this hotel from 25 — 29 September. While the hotel is fine, the staff is not courteous, quite unhelpful and at times rude. It's the staff that makes a hotel good or bad. Quite disappointed with the staff behavior.

A very nice, cozy hotel, the location is good. Personnel is very friendly, breakfast is mostly nice besides some stuff supposed to be hot, it was iced cold like mashed potatoes. A definite plus is the presence is a spa-zone : a swimming pool and sauna.
I can recommend the hotel for all kinds of activity : tourism or business.

The staff at reception were exceptional — so helpful and professional! They went above and beyond by surprising my friend with a complimentary bottle of wine for her birthday. Really appreciated these thoughtful touches. The location couldn't be better, and we felt very safe throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Well, the place is pretty good but don't expect an equivalent of a European 4 star one.
Beside that the staff is kind and helpful. The hotel is clean and you feel secure. I think the only downside is the noise level coming from the highway just next to the hotel, if your room is that side of course.

Disappointing Breakfast Experience – Not Family Friendly.
As a UAE resident, I expected a better experience from this hotel. Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing. We went at 9:30 AM (within breakfast hours of 7:30 to 10:30), but many items were not refilled, and there was no proper menu available. My kids were left hungry as there were hardly any options suitable for them, and the staff were not willing to prepare anything upon request. The property itself is okay, but overall service and attention to guest needs were below expectations. Definitely not family friendly in terms of food and hospitality.

I seriously doubt this hotel deserves a 4-star rating. When I entered the room, there was a noticeable smell of cigarette smoke. After I complained, they changed my room. In the new room, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, the shower was broken, and the bathtub drained very slowly. There was no hair conditioner in the bathroom, and I had to request it to receive one. Also, the drinking water was only complimentary once — a note on the table said that any additional bottles would be charged.
My room reservation did not include breakfast, and I was aware that I had to pay $16 for it. However, when I entered the dining area, I found that almost all the food — sausages, cold cuts, and cooked dishes — contained pork. The coffee machine wasn’t working properly and only dispensed either hot water or warm milk. When I complained about having to pay $16 for such a breakfast and asked why there were only pork sausages, the restaurant manager responded dismissively and said that since most people in Armenia eat pork, they serve only pork sausages one day and only beef sausages the next.
I find this kind of planning very disappointing, and I’m equally disappointed with the management of this hotel. In my opinion, it deserves no more than 3 stars.

It’s my second time I stayed in this hotel with my children. We like it. Even the economy room was huge with cosy beds. We had also a big sofa and tables where it was possible to have breakfast or dinner. The location was fine to reach the main sightseeings on foot.

Reasonably priced with pool and sauna included. A few hundred meters from republic square. Enjoyed my stay here. Receptionists and cleaning staffs are polite. It was hard though with the staff in the pool as she doesn't speak english but she was alright. 😆 The bed was comfortable. Recommended!

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were all super nice and helpful. Anytime I had a question, they were quick to guide me in the right direction. The location is also a big plus— perfect for anyone needing access to the U. S. Embassy or wanting to explore downtown.
The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast-it could definitely be improved. But to be fair, this seems to be a common issue across many hotels in Yerevan.

Amazing hotel! Very friendly staff specially the reception! The room was very cozy and nice, we had a room with a city view, but was calm and not noisy! Beds were comfortable and location is walk distance to Republic Square! I highly recommend this hotel.
