Kantar Hostel

It is nice hotel and hostel close to the main square (it is not my favorite area but u can easily walk to the city. Breakfast was decent. I stay at biggest room they have (hotel). Important info u can’t bring anyone into your room (I have my friend visiting from another city) they said for security reason! But I am not a kid who like to follow this kind of rule. FYI ❤️

First thing first : Easily, one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed.
The best breakfast in a hostel soooooo faaar. It was like full treatment, better than five star hotel breakfast, wow.
Very well located, nicely decorated and vibing place, vibing people, it’s a 10.

Aside from the location being fantastic and so convenient and accessible to everywhere, the hostel staff, especially Alex, were all super friendly and kind.
The breakfast is unbelievably good for a hostel and the entire place is very clean and well reserved with wide variety of foreigners coming from everywhere to Visit the art of Armenia, Yerevan.

I chose Kantar based on a recommendation from a friend.
I stayed 4 nights in total and everything was just super nice. Staff was always helpful, they help you out with any questions you have. They clean the bathrooms many times a day. For breakfast you can choose from a buffet and the location is near by the republic square.

I spent 4 wonderful nights here. The hostel was very clean, cozy and friendly with a great self-service breakfast 😃. The staff was also great and friendly. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

I’ve been staying at this hostel for over 20 days and will likely extend my stay for a few more. I highly recommend this place—excellent value for money.
The atmosphere is fantastic: cozy, comfortable, and truly feels like home. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Beds are refreshed every two days, and the bathrooms are clean and sufficient.
Breakfast is always fresh with a good variety of options each day.
The common areas are wonderful, and I’ve made many great friends here.
I’m certain I’ll miss this place and it will be my go-to spot whenever I’m in Yerevan.

I've recently spent 4 days at kantar, I chose that hustle to have a new experience being at hustle means I already know there won't be so much room for personal staff all the great comments encouraged me to go for it but I'm so sorry to say I can't think of a reason for all that positive comments. The worst part was the fact that restroom was constantly dirty and smelled terrible the breakfast was okay most staff were nice but nothing special about it there was zero cleaning of room the just emptied the bin and even after cleaning the restroom it was still dirty! No mirror but the one in the restroom That's my honest opinion it made my whole trip like hell.

Absolutely loved our stay at Kantar Hotel Yerevan! The location is perfect — just steps from Republic Square. Rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable, with great city views. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented. This was our second stay, and the quality remains outstanding. Kantar combines warm hospitality, excellent service, and stylish design — a true gem in Yerevan. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city, whether for business or leisure. We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Armenia!

The hostel is very clean, the breakfast is great, there is always someone cleaning. There is free tea and internet, there is a microwave, dishes, pots and pans, a stove, an oven and a fridge if you want to cook. There is a cool shared workspace, which makes it easy to work in this hostel, and most of the people here are digital nomads, so you can make friends and be social.
The price is really more expensive than other hostels in Armenia, but the cleanliness and facilities are excellent. It also has good security and I never saw anyone lose their belongings or worry about things like that.

I recently stayed at Kantar Hostel in Yerevan for 5 days and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was outstanding – a generous and delicious spread with fresh, local options that gave each morning a great start. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with directions, recommendations, or any other needs during the stay.
The hostel itself is modern, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable atmosphere with stylish touches that made it feel more like a boutique hotel. One of the best parts is its central location – perfectly situated within walking distance to many of Yerevan’s main attractions, cafes, and cultural sites.
Overall, Kantar Hostel exceeded my expectations and made my stay in Yerevan truly memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Amazing facilities and great location. I stayed about 4 nights. I was working remotely and needed a good internet and working space which was great at Kantar. The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast is pretty amazing, which is included in the price. Rooms are nice, clean and bed are comfortable. Bathrooms were also super clean. Location is also pretty great. If you are into walking you can get anywhere with less than 20mins of walk. I highly recommend this place.

Hotel/hostel. Perfect place if you travel with friends. Clean place, rooms, and bathrooms. Nice people who work here. We needed only a place to sleep with breakfast — perfect. Ararat was seen from our window. Great mountain. This hotel is close to Republic Square. And park with singing Fontaines. Definitely can recommend.

This is a great place to stay. Good location, clean rooms, good breakfast and a great staff. The front desk staff is like a concierge service, they can reserve transfers, tours and are very helpful and understand multiple languages.

I had the best days in kantar hotel yerevan armenia 🇦🇲. It was my 1st hostel experience and was wonderful. Professional staffs, clean bedspace, Good breakfast& their dedication to make the whole space clean always. Appreciate the management &entire staff crews of kantar. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience, nice modern and clean rooms. Breakfast — which is included — very generous and nice! Free coffee + tea. Common/kitchen area very big. Nice location in center. I also checked in late and there was reception (24h)

Very good staff that genuinely care about giving a good service and that really want you to enjoy your stay. I also had a problem with my door lock and staff helped a lot.
Breakfast is also very good.
However, why in my experience I didn't give a 5 stars would be because of the room decor, I find really depressing inside. I have booked a double room and I was expecting more. Also, the bed cover came in two single covers rather than one big to cover the whole bed which I pointed out but that's all they had.
The door lockers for the room and the bathroom were struggling and not closing properly unfortunately.
Last thing would be about entertainment. I wished they organised some internal activities for example: trivia night, or chess competetiom, or card games to make it more fun and lively for people to engage together.
That being said I truly recommend this hostel anyway knowing that the few points I pointed out could be easy fixed in the future!
