Hotel Arami by Downtown

I have found a bad smell in the room, a leaking shower and a low class of breakfast makes wastage of my money.

Good place to stay in Yerevan. New hotel right in the center. We liked Location, price and staff 👍
They also let us leave our luggages till the night of our check out date, which was very helpful for us as our flight was in the night.
We would stay again here in the future.

Arami Hotel —
First impression of from the booking. Com website was that of a 3 star accomodation with great location and with a even better breakfast buffet.
Checked into room 2 on the 26th of June at around 8pm for our stay till the 29th. The room was clean and tidy. But then had some bitter sweet experience.
First of all its not a Hotel… It's few rooms on ground floor with a reception and a so called kitchen.
1. The shower cubicle had an issue. Water seeped out and into the room thru the door. Was provided a towel to stop the flow and do the needful. (The single attendant at the reception was ever helpful). Asked for another room but weren't available. The girl Dianne who handles the reception in the morning mentioned that they knew about the issue but they hadn't attended to it.
2. The duvet covers were kept on the bed and we had to insert the duvet outselves. 3 star service.
3. The most boring part was the buffet breakfast we had opted for. Same for 3 days we stayed. Only boiled eggs (no other option), some breakfast cereal, same cocktail sausages in plastic (cheap), cold bread (no toaster), 1 fruit option (apples on 3 days when Apricot is national fruit 😁). Same Muffins which were there even on day 3). Imagine 3 days having the same layout. When we requested for fried eggs, Dianne politely declined since the so called kitchen doesn't have any ventilation so she said.
The worst breakfast experience in our whole trip to Armenia.

Rooms were very small compared to what they show in pictures. Washbasin was clogged. Hotel is in the middle of city buy parking is very difficult. No lifts. No coffee/ tea packets provided in room.

I had a good stay for a budget hotel. Room was alright. Very clean and straightforward. Bed was a bit weird, not sure what it was. But for the price and location, it was sure worth it. People and staff were very nice and accommodating.

It's ok for what it offers and its price. Nothing fancy just a small clean room for about 30 euros per night. No1 room has a lot of noise because it is just next to reception and the main road. We booked a room for a small nap through a servicer without prepayment and it was just fine.

I stayed at the Arami by Downtown hotel in February 2024.
I will say right away that the hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance of Republic Square, the Cascade, the Blue Mosque, and many more interesting things…
The hotel itself is small, only 8 rooms, a reception and a small cozy kitchen.
The hotel is always calm and almost quiet. There is free Wi-Fi, which works great everywhere… you can even listen to Russian Radio and watch movies.
I had room 7 — clean and bright, in a modern style without pretentious colors. This made me very happy. The room has everything you need for your stay: a bed, bedside tables with lamps, a built-in wardrobe with hangers, a flat-screen TV, a table, a kettle and tea accessories (tea, coffee, sugar… everything in bags). 2 bottles of drinking water are brought to your room daily. There are disposable slippers. The room also has a minibar for a fee. I didn’t use its contents, but used it as a refrigerator 😊.
In the bathroom, in addition to toilet paper and liquid hand soap, there is shampoo, shower gel, cotton swabs, toothbrush + paste.
In terms of cleaning, the hotel also pleased me. As long as you don't put a sign on the door asking you to clean your room, no one will disturb you. If you do not need a complete cleaning of your room, just ask the reception to put water in your room and remove the trash.

All tourist destination are very near when your in the hotel. Very recommended.

They took our booking and then canceled it for no reason.

Under no circumstances choose this hotel for one simple reason. There's no water there. The owners claim that it is not their fault, but this is not the case. Because we lived there for two days out of three planned and it was a lottery. Either you have a small stream flowing, or the pressure is normal, but boiling water is replaced by ice water, but you will be lucky, because as a rule there is no water at all. I won’t even talk about other minor issues like excellent audibility.

New and clean room, Frendly staff, It's located on “wine street”!
Rooms are only on ground floor, My economy double room was on semi-basement floor with small window but still good.
