Cascade Sarmen 14 Hotel

Beautiful park with interesting sculptures. For the way up, you can either take the stairs or drive up from the inside with the escalator. From above you have an overview of the whole of Yerevan. The Ararat is also in good view. You just have to be lucky that it's not too cloudy so you get to see its top. At the bottom is a toilet.

Great hotel. Attentive, friendly staff, good kitchen and very convenient location. I advise everyone to stay here when visiting Armenia. It is a beautiful country and beautiful people. My family and I were here for a week on May holidays and to say that we were satisfied-it is nothing to say! Come!

Interesting place in Yerevan, you can visit in any weather, at any time of day. Beautiful views of the "City of Pink tuff". If you're lucky, you can see Ararat. Creative Park of sculptures at the bottom. Many tourists.

Good place to hang around until late night. Good for all ages. Many restaurants around too.

The park in front of the cascade was just georgeous. With many arts from recycled things. We were there in a deep winter days. The roads was full of snow. Also the cascade complex. It was just grey and cloudy and foggy. I just climb half way on the cascade to see the view of the city. But failed to do so because of the fog.

A very Lovely place to spent the night or day for the sunrise & sunset views… A 1000 steps walk stretch along the hillside valley of the Capital Yerevan Armenia…! A good place to spent the time with friends & families, as it offers recreations, restaurants & bars across the area…!

The best part of Armenia. You can see Yerevan clearly. Every part of it. It's beautiful. And of course the mountain Ararat. My love except I can't see something beautiful in fat naked bodies, blue kiwis, rabbits trying to recreate Nazi symbol. But when you look at it otherwise it's kind of cool. I still love Cascade and it's still one of must be places in Yerevan.

Beautiful architecture and greatly integrated with the uphill part of the city. Interesting exhibition inside as well. Recommended.

Grandiose Construction! Inside you can see the masterpieces of modern art absolutely free. There are escalators for a quick climb. Souvenir Shop and Educational center.

A beautiful public place, climbing the stairs, you can see how gradually the whole city opens to the eye. You can climb on the escalator, looking at the way art objects). Alas, until the end. I hope, when the project is complete, it will be even more interesting to walk here.

Yerevan Cascade is a living history of Armenia, which is literally read from its walls. Ornaments from the ancient state of Urartu are depicted in the ornaments of fountains and various statues and obelisks. The cascade aspires to rise, to develop on increasing, reaching its climax-the obelisk "revived Armenia", as the main idea of the complex is national revival.

Good place for meeting point, the concerts are performed very good. Very nice for a stroll while you see a lot of modern art.

Interesting idea and good engineering solution to connect two parts of the city in this way. From above opens a wonderful view of the city and from below a lot of interesting compositions of modern art, there is where to walk or just sit to relax.

The famous big cascade. It includes a park and a building, together they make up a unique composition that connects two parts of the city. Impressive view of the city from the top point.
Upstairs you can climb stairs, but inside the building there is a system of escalators. There's a lot of sculptures. People love this city!

A great architectural building. Visiting this place during late spring or early summer are the best times. The fountains are really nice, as are the sculptures and statues. The art inside is also decent. The escalators are efficient and clean. Everything inside is also clean. A very nice place.

Impressive vision of a monumental work of power ostentatious but in fact unfinished (in 2017).
Fountains and water games that reveal themselves in their dynamism only conquering the altitude… all in all a space and a potential museum path still in progress to dedicate two hours of stay…

Been here a million times since there is only so much to do in Yerevan on a given day. The lower portion of the complex and museum is quite impressive and the gardens are well maintained. It is the Yerevan’s pride and joy, and provides great views of the City and Sis and Masis (Mt. Ararat) when they aren’t obscured by air pollution. The top tiers were never finished and have been under construction for years now. A walk to the top is still worth the visit nevertheless.

Waterfall without water The place is very nice with the sculptures proposed, one can see in particular works of Botero. On the other hand I do not understand why the waterfall, in 3 days I have never seen water flowing along the stairs, it's a pity. On the other hand the view from above on the city is quite nice.

A place of enchantment that encompasses many museums. Also the visit from the outside is suggestive. When you arrive at the end the panorama is breathtaking!
