Vidis Chalet Boutique Hotel

We had a memorable one-night stay at Vidis Hotel. The room was very nice and clean, though quite small. Although the access road to the hotel was a bit rough, the stunning views and warm, family-run atmosphere more than made up for it. The entire staff was kind and welcoming, especially Dany, whose hospitality was truly exceptional — he made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for throughout our stay. His generosity, attention to detail, and thoughtful presence really stood out and made our short visit feel incredibly special.

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved our experience! The most beautiful view, the best food we had on our trip, and the owner and staff were so friendly, kind, and accommodating. They went above and beyond. We will never forget, and certainly will be back to stay again soon! Thank you for everything ❤️

We stayed for three nights at Vidis Hotel, and I must say it was one of the most exceptional stays we’ve ever had. From the rooms to the views to the food, everything was fantastic. What stood out the most was the great hospitality from Danny, Nora, and Mira they ensured all our needs were met and even went above and beyond! This is an experience I will never forget, and I can’t wait to come back again.

An amazing experience. The views cannot be beat. The cabin was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. Dinner was excellent and breakfast even more so. The best part is the owners treat you like family. They held my baby while I ate breakfast and drank coffee 🩵 I can't wait to come back.

Beautiful and amazing location with the best hospitality we’ve experienced — the owner makes you feel right at home, and she cooks up the most delicious dishes which are much needed after a whole day of hiking. Highly recommended even though it’s a bit away from the city centre, but definitely worth the 20 euros taxi to get you here.

We had the pleasure of staying at this stunning hotel, surrounded by breathtaking mountains. The location is absolutely magical, and the delicious food tasted even better in such a special setting. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience. We also hope that as they expand with more rooms, they maintain the personal touch that made our stay so special. This is one of those places, people and experiences to cherish for a lifetime. Vidis Chalet is ran by an amazing family who will go the extra mile to make guests feel welcomed and special. The hotel is located in one of the most majestic settings you will find within the Albanian Alps with a 180 degree view of the mountains. The atmosphere is simply hard to beat. But what makes this place incredibly unforgettable is the people working here. The food is prepared daily by the owner who also happens to be a former chef. Some of the best food we had in Albania we had at Vidis. Simply unforgettable in every single aspect. Thank you to the staff for such hospitality.

Absolutely incredible location, owned by a wonderful and friendly family. The food was fantastic. I have never stayed anywhere in the world with such fantastic Mountain View’s. Cannot recommend Vidis more. It made for an exceptional visit to Theth.

Went to Vidi’s for dinner on our trip to the Balkans and it was the best food we had anywhere on the trip. They take care to add some creativity to the traditional dishes and execute the food very well. The views during dinner and the ambiance of the restaurant really made this spot special and will remain as one of the best memories from all of our travels.

Arrived here on August 15th, 2024 for a one night stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and enthusiastically. The owners of the property sat down with us described their property to us and gave us some tips on a couple of hikes we were planning on completing.
That evening we had the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view and their out of this world patio while eating dinner. The dining experience deserves its own review. The food was impeccable, well prepared and extremely fresh. Being from Canada, I have never tasted tomatoes as fresh as the ones served in the salad I ordered. The portions were very large and the food was served quickly and hot.
After dinner the owners of the property lit an outdoor fire which we spent the evening next to, sipping on glasses of wine, watching the stars while enjoying the picture perfect view. They provided blankets to all patrons outside to stay warm as the evening got a bit chilly compared to the heat experienced during the day.
The following morning the breakfast provided was more than your typical breakfast that is included with a one night stay. The food, again, was plentiful, fresh, included a large variety of choice, and also included different juices, water and fresh coffee.
Overall, our stay here was a very positive and welcoming experience. If I ever find my way back this way, I will 100% be staying at this top notch property again.
