Kukës County Hotels

Just Excellent. The owner/manager was very helpful and accommodating with our requests for early check in and secure parking for the motorcycles.

Exactly as the pictures. Modern beautifully finished. Very comfortable bed and chairs. Bathroom finished to a very high standard. Air-conditioning very effective.

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The covered outdoor patio was perfect on a rainy day. The hotel itself is a mountain oasis! The food was excellent and service equally wonderful.

The hotel is in a great position in the valley with superb views of towering mountains. It is well situated for the start of the Valbona to Theth trek.

The staff was so kind and gave us local tips. The food t the restaurant was tasty and convenient. The rooms were clean and updated. It was everything you could ask for in a visit. Thank you!

As well as pristine and modern rooms, a secure carpark and good food, the standout feature of this hotel for us was the friendly and accommodating owner.

If you’re staying in Kukës, Hotel Gjallica is the best choice. It has that rare mix of being super professional but also feeling really personal and welcoming.

A well located hotel in the center of Kukës offering excellent comfort and authentic traditional cuisine. The food was rich in flavor and beautifully prepared.

Just visited for lunch, which was great and a variety of everything — all self-produced at their farm :) we stayed in the end for 2 hours because the hospitality, the garden and the view was just one

Staying here was one of our trip highlights. The family is very welcoming. The home and garden are beautiful with a little creek running outside our window.

Clean room, staff very friendly good location. Very cheap for the conditions it offers. I recommend it.

Don't hesitate to choose it. Hospitality of the staff. Cleanliness, Accommodation, Food and location. It is a good opportunity to visit.
Albania Mountain guide.
And Albania national guide.

This review comes three years late, because I thought I had posted it — it turns out I hadn't.
I was on a cycling trip through eastern and northern Albania and arrived in Kukes on August 16 2022.

There is not much to do or see in Kukes. The hotel is like an oasis among the concrete blocks. The owner pays attention to each guest individually. Parking is free and there are always free spaces.

Situated near the city centre and with a view from the Stadium, the hotel is a perfect choice for football fans and regular tourists too :)
The staff were super kind and helpful, especially Mikel,

Hotel was great and staff was super helpful. We arrived on bikes in a rain storm and they were very accommodating with all of our wet gear.

The best place ever!
Very friendly staff.
I really enjoyed to stay there.
I gone come back every time.

This exceeded our expectations — the hotel was pure luxury — very comfortable beds the shower/bathroom facility was amazing — the service from the family run run business is 10/10 cannot say anything

I am a licensed guide in Albania. I am very happy to bring 3 clients to Valbor Hotel. Very polite service and my clients are very satisfied. We will always come to Valbor Hotel.

Great hotel — stayed here after hiking from Theth. I called reception at a very late hour and was answered courteously, and offered a room for a fair price.

The food was excellent and the portions were huge. Great value for money hotel. Clean, spacious, and safe. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

Beautiful and unveliable place on earth, surrounded by stunning mountains 5/10 mins walk from Valbona town (but they picked me up from town).

A very peaceful place with beautiful nature, extremely polite staff, and a very clean environment.

Nice and very comfortable place. The staff knows very good English and they’re very friendly helpful.

Great Hotel, lots of facilities and huge Comolex for Parties/Weddings etc Very friendly helpful staff.
Only stayed one night but room was spacious with a balcony and really comfortable.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious.

The beds and the shower was really really nice. The room was perfectly cold without an ac. The owner was super chill and friendly. The food was good homemade stuff.

WOW!
The guesthouse is located in such a beautiful area, everything was so authentic there.
The hosts are an amazing family that was really nice to get to know.

Hi. ♥️
Okay, this is my uncles restaurant.
Some informations:
1-Rilindja was the first restaurant in Valbona.
2-I rate it a 10 out of 10.
3-You should probably go try it.
4-The staff are amazing.

A beautiful place to relax in the mountains, with a very friendly owner and all the employees.

This was a great two-day base for Valbone. There are restaurants and coffee shops nearby and strew parking was never an issue.

We stayed here with our two little girls for two nights. We had a great stay here.

Me and my partner were doing the peaks of the Balkans hike and met the owner Blair when we were trying to hitchhike up a gravel road, where he happily let us jump in the back.

Wonderful establishment, you truly could not ask for more.

Helpful owner. Rooms are clean.
The location is close to the center and the bus terminal.

We had a lovely stay at jezerca. The room was aesthetically pleasing, the location is a dream, in the middle of the mountains.

Great place to relax after the Theth to Valbona hike! The cabins are wonderful with comfortable beds & pillows. The owner is very friendly and a mountain guide.

We stayed for 10 days at "Te Baca Qerim" and we have decided to return in spring or summer for a different experience there since this time we went in fall!

An Unforgettable Stay at Te Baca Qerim in Lekbibaj!
I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Te Baca Qerim guesthouse in Lekbibaj for 10 days, and it was nothing short of spectacular.

An amazing destination with breathtaking views. The atmosphere is very pleasant, comfortable, and offers complete peace and relaxation. Everything was clean and well-maintained.

An amazing find in the middle between Kukës and Peshkopi. The couple that run this beautifully restored farmhouse B&B are most welcoming.

Very nice and helpful staff, clean rooms and beautiful place. Can go swimming in the lake and the water is very warm. Highly recommend!

Very clean, inexpensive and comfortable place, perfect for rest after hiking. Owners are really kind and friendly. The rooms are big, and there's a living room and balcony.

We stayed one night before starting our Peaks of the Balkans hike, and it was a great place to start. Lots of other guests here were doing the same.

The level of hospitality you receive when staying at this guesthouse makes you feel like family. The food is delicious, traditional and local and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Great place to stay if you’re planning hikes around Valbona. The family is incredibly kind and welcoming, and makes you feel at home right away.

The lovely owner was ready to cook just for you a dinner with local cuisine specialised in vegetarian attitude for just 10€/person.
