Had a great stay at Hotel Vellezërit Guri in Theth!
Cozy rooms, stunning views, and super friendly staff especially Sibora.
The traditional food was amazing.
Highly recommend for a peaceful mountain escape!

The hospitality of Sibora and the entire Guri family has been extraordinary!
The rooms are well fitted with what one needs, not luxurious but so warm hearted.
The breakfast is fresh and made with love from eggs to bruschettas and pancakes!
The food has been devoured every morsel and more!
We stayed In Theth for 4 nights but the meal here was far superior than Freskia or Gceja!
The meatballs, stews, even the pilaf rice was cooked with love and more love.
I would recommend this place a multitude of times just for the warmth and genuineness in every corner.

Wonderful views of the majestic Alpes if you happened to get a room on their side. Food leaves wanting even though the ladies of the house work hard to prep it. Bathroom smelled moldy as it did not have any ventilation. Friendly hosts.

Not worth it. Hated every second in the Guesthouse. Dirty rooms, uneatable food. Such a shame for all the region and the tipical Albanian hospitality.
In the end, we paid much more than expected, as everything was overpriced. The prices were according to the owners mood. Sometimes a beer would cost 150 ALL, other times 300 ALL.
Stay out.

Basic food with mediocre quality. Strangely overpriced. We were a group of colleagues and the management of the place kept changing prices for drinks during the entire night. So within the same hour we paid for the same exact beer, prices of 200, 250 and 300 ALL. The toilets and showers were shabby and partially functional. Overall, limited understanding on how serving visitors works.

Worst place to stay in Theth. The hygiene was poor, we had to clean the room and bathroom ourselves. Also the pillows had a strange smell. Not to mention the food wich had no taste and the choices were basic. Everything at Vllezrit Guri was overpriced.

We have Genius level on Booking that’s why we got a discount on the room with breakfast included for 2 days. We’re driving for 5 hours to reach the place and when we decided to call the hotel, the owner said: “I don’t know how it happened but we don’t sell the rooms so cheap. But if you’re alone, you still can come. ” We replied it’s 2 of us, she doubted for a second and said: “Ohhh, I don’t know, but come”. So we continued our way. We arrived around 10.30-11.00, we’ve been asked to go to the room till the prepare the meal for us. Not the breakfast which supposed to be included but a meal which we paid for! Regardless the fact that the room was cold, we could manage it, we didn’t want to drive anywhere else cuz of the road. We decided to extend our stay directly with the owner. During the conversation she mentioned the price 4 times higher than we booked on Booking. Com. So, we decided to extend our booking online. Imagine how surprised we were to find out that the booking was cancelled directly by the owner behind our back, Without even telling us! So, to get more money they just decided to do it and forgot to inform us. So we will be charged more.
Yes, the location might be good, yes, the price in general isn’t high, people were kind of welcoming till the moment we found out the truth. I will definitely not go there one more time and won’t recommend this place to anyone.
