Nice view 👌 but many difficulties…
Like the doors doesn't work can't open close lock unlock … the breakfast was very traditional garlic everywhere. Hot tub water water almost unlimited… need some changes… no towel changes in 2 days for the prices deferent feelings.

A hidden gem in a spectacular location. Hotel Thethi offers breathtaking mountain views, incredibly friendly service, and delicious traditional cuisine. The rooms are comfortable and authentic, making it an ideal spot to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of the Alps. Highly recommended for anyone visiting this stunning part of Albania.

Everything was amazing—exceptional value for the price. I visited during low season and still received first-class service. The food is delicious (I tried other places, and this was by far the best), the rooms are great, especially the villas 😍
The location, views, landscape, and overall atmosphere are incredible. In winter, this place feels truly magical. The staff is outstanding and adds immense value to the property. Thank you all for the great work and special vibes!

If you go to Theth, this is the place to stay!

We booked this hotel expecting a luxurious experience and felt feeling confused and catfished. Whilst the hotel and view itself was stunning visually, this was all surface level. The actual hotel is situated on the side of the mountain above Theth village (1 hour walk or 10/15 minutes taxi away). As of the summer (2025), the hotel was incomplete and still undergoing loud construction.
The hotel has a restaurant which offers included breakfast of a variety of fairly decent local food, though wasn't restocked during the morning service and didn't seem the most hygienic with flies covering lots of the products. We didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel as it was expensive with not set menu, instead electing to visit other home stays down the mountain.
The hotel has lovely pool with an incredible view, which was unfortunate blocked in many areas by a giant 'Thethi' banner. They had many sunbeds surrounding the pool free to use. For most of our stay however, there was a noisy family sprawled out over most of the area who were playing obnoxious music from their own speaker and allowed their kids to run around splashing guests, ruining the atmosphere. — Other reviews we saw mentioned a similar situation with a similar description of the family. The pool was freezing cold, as was the (hot) tub.
The room itself was definitely the highlight, with a bathtub and comfortable king size bed giving unobstructed views of Theth which was breathtaking.

My sister and I booked this hotel in a rush, knowing almost nothing about Theth, and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made.
We arrived around noon, exhausted and starving, at a time when the hotel kitchen was supposed to be closed. Yet Husna kindly welcomed us and prepared lunch for us anyway, even though it was outside working hours. That gesture was only the beginning of the warmth and generosity we experienced from these wonderful people.
From the very first moment, the hotel felt like home. The rooms were beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The view was spectacular; perfect for peaceful solitude. I would especially like to thank Teze Kushja, whose warmth truly felt like that of a mother. Her generosity, care, and delicious food filled our hearts in just two nights. 🥹🥰♥️
And Aleksi… thank you for treating us like family. Your kindness in taking us to the village, even when you didn’t have to, speaks volumes about your pure heart and generosity. You showed us a beautiful example of true Albanian hospitality.

Even thought the nature is good your experience there is highly depended on the staff. The staff is perfect the boys and girls there make yiur stay worth it. But I had chance to see the owners and the reality of what I was watching is terrible. The bosses of that place are terrible human beings the way they treated their staff is not alright. I cant believe how hard work they do and they get that treatment back. Its just unacceptable. The whole reason the stay in this hotel is good is only form that wonderful staff they make it worth it.

The Hotel Thethi is set in one of the most breathtaking locations I’ve ever seen — truly among the most beautiful in the world — surrounded by spectacular mountains. The scenery is so stunning it feels almost spiritual. On top of that, the hotel is beautifully appointed, the food is delicious, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. All in all, a perfect 10/10 experience.

The room was awesome, the views are spectacular, the bathtub is great add especially in the cold weather. The stuff really friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend to stay there!

We stayed here for 3 nights in September. The setting of the hotel is amazing, you can't beat the views from the terrace. The breakfast was good, evening meal is a set menu and is reasonably priced. However doesn't change that much each night. This isn't too much of a issue though as there is another hotel a 5 minute walk away where you can get food. The hotel is still being built and is a bit rough round the edges, with parts still under construction. We had a bath in the room that looked like stone but was actually plastic, it also leaked a bit when you let the water out. There was also one night where we had no hot water. That said it was a lovely stay, the staff couldn't do enough for us and you need to expect some issues like that when you are in one of the remotest villages in Europe! I would recommend a stay.

Mixed experience. Staff were lovely and helpful — food was really good — breathtaking views of the mountains — hotel is very new with nice features. That being said, there isn't a hot tub — it is cold. Don't be fooled by photos! We got a deluxe room but our bathtub was made of plastic and spray painted. Toilet didn't have a door and we couldn't open the window. And we didn't have hot water for both nights we stayed (they blamed the generator).

The hotel exceeded expectations. The food was lovely, the facilities were great and it had the most incredible views. The staff were so accommodating and nice. Particularly Alex who made the experience so much better.

We stayed here for a few nights and I cannot recommend it enough. The views are spectacular, the room was so beautiful and overlooked the mountains. But the staff was the best part, they made you feel at home. Special mention to Aleks who shows us what true hospitality means. Even the owner of the hotel helped us with the transfer of our bags down to our next destination (which was FAR).
They really went above and beyond at every turn. Will hopefully come back one day! Highly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed at Thethi Hotel for four nights and had a magical visit. The staff welcomed us and made us feel so comfortable in our GORGEOUS room with a magnificent view overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was delicious and hearty with wonderful options and lots of coffee! (Great vegetarian options too). The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens were wonderful quality. Dinner was delicious — everything was home cooked with fresh ingredients and made with love — we also had the opportunity to meet some wonderful guests who shared travel tips. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Theth!

Super hotel in the heart of Theth.
Fantastic! Amazing view, clean and very comfortable rooms. Very welcoming staff, you feel at home. Wonderful food, especially traditional dishes. 100% recommended for anyone who wants peace, nature and traditional Albanian hospitality.

Excellent place to visit in Theth Albania. The experience was amazing, the staff is incredibly welcoming. The room was spotless modern and very welcoming. The view of the Albanian Alps was absolutely breathtaking, making it a perfect escape from the city. Breakfast was included, delicious and plenty of fresh and delicious options. There is a restaurant at the resort with Albanian traditional menu. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Theth!

The hotel offers many beautiful views, making our stay truly special. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the president of the hotel was especially gracious and thoughtful.
The food had a warm, home-cooked feel—it was cozy and comforting, just like being at home.
One of the most touching gestures was during our fast. The president and staff arranged a thoughtful Iftar for us, which showed genuine care and hospitality. It was an unforgettable act of kindness.
