Very basic Hotel. The best location, next to the Metro and well connected.

Stayed here over a weekend when I attending Distant Worlds: Final Fantasy Concert. Had at attic room. Room was small but its to be expected in this part of London with the houses. Room had enough room for one person and bathroom was well designed. Internet was very fast. Will stay here when I return for next Distant Worlds.

Very good hotel with a very professional staff.

Given a room that you could not swing a cat in — had I been a stone heavier I would have needed to crawl up the bed to get in it! The toilet, once flushed, continued to fill up without stopping — hence asked to be moved — second room was in the basement (probably because I complained) — not a great deal better — this time when my daughter attempted to shower she had no hot water — however on calling someone to take a look — he stood in the shower for over 10 minutes then proudly announced 'its starting to get hot' — fine if you have a day to spare on cleanliness! — not a great experience at all — never again in this hotel! — two stars given purely for location for what we wanted to see. I would also add that my 41yr old daughter went to the breakfast room to ask if she could borrow a knife to cut up some peaches — was given a knife by another member of staff in there but on returning to our room she was stopped in the corridor by a reception member of staff and basically told off like a 5yr old — absolutely disgraceful and not pleasant for her!

Clean and comfortable, but a fairly small room. It did have a large outside terrace though. Some areas of the hotel are looking a little tired and the breakfast room needs to be bigger. Pleasant and welcoming reception staff.

Conveniently located. Tube station right across the street. Found two restaurants we visited multiple times. Garfunkel's and Stanhope Arms. Breakfast & dinner respectively. Would I stay here again. Yes!

Highly recommend not to reserve and stay here. Room condition was horrible but service here much worst! I could't use the electricity and they gave me the worst room ever! The receptionist have no mention any apology and just drop me a new key and disappeared. Carpet is wet and stinks! I mean, I literally have 4 year old child, and do they think she could sleep in a such small room with all these problem?! If only I could rate this to a negative, I would gladly do that!

Quiet, ideally located hotel in the heart of London. Underground close by, good base for exploring the city. Excellent breakfast, very cheery and helpful staff. Will stay again.

Friendly staff and modern reception area. Quality of the bathroom in the bedroom was not up to the standard I expected — broken wall tiles, old fixing holes in the walls and a leaky shower hose. Rest of the room was good enough, AC was effective. Good range of food at breakfast but expected better quality for the price. Tables very close together. Staff very helpful though and attentive.

Excellent location near tube station and Piccadilly line. Great value for the season. Helpful staff. Clean and crisp. Daily newspapers, London as well as the Wall Street Journal. Many nearby restaurants. Close to V&A, and Natural History.

Heating down in all rooms, dirty bathrooms, no remote control for TVs, broken shower doors, towel warmer HS… And a cockroach found in the hallways of the hotel.
The rooms with double bed are tiny (the bed takes 80% of the room).
The only reason it deserves one or two stars is that it is well placed in town, but to avoid if you go not just to sleep one night.

Great location (less than 5 minutes from the tube), really helpful and friendly staff, reasonably priced rooms although ours was somewhat small (may not suit everyone) with a poorly maintained bathroom. Easy walking access to Chelsea and surrounding areas and plenty of restaurants nearby. Experience let down by staff at breakfast (very poor customer service and average food) and noisy overnight guests.

Small room. Couldn't open the door fully without hitting the bed. Gnats, spiders, bugs in bed. Reading light on lamp was broken. Overall bad experience but it's still better than sleeping on the streets.

Location is great! The room is literally a bed in a room. It's so small I have to turn sideways to get into bed… The bathroom is a little shabby. Someone in the kitchen set thebfite alarm at 730am which sucked a lot. I might stay again but only for the location.

The room I had was like an apartment with its own separate living room on another level. Very much worth the money and much better than the exterior may suggest.

Pros: Clean rooms and friendly service, reasonable breakfast buffet, great location for museums, tube etc. Cons: tiny rooms, I'm 6'3" and I kept stubbing my toes on the furniture and my feet stuck out of the end of the bed.

Small but clean and we'll equipped rooms. Staff were friendly and couldn't do more to help you. Only problem was the double beds were a small double and my 6"6' other half didn't fit well!

The service was generally very pleasant and proficient. The main is the rooms are not sound proofed so you can hear everything happening in your corridor and next door. Also I'm a tall man and the beds are extremely short. Overall it wasn't the worst place I've stopped but I'm not sure I'd stay again.

Good value hotel. Clean. Small rooms but you can get great prices. Recommended for the budget traveller who just needs somewhere to rest their head.

This is centrally located and competitively priced for the area. The rooms are tiny but cover all amenities.

SMALL rooms are the norm here. The pictures are deceiving so be warned. They have packed 85 rooms into 3 Kensington house fronts. Queen bed was shoehorned into a 10' x 7' room with a desk and chair also. You could barely open the door into it. Cupboard was in the small vestibule and the door to the 4' x 8' bathroom opened to that also. All was very clean. Breakfast buffet was great every day we ate there. Staff was courteous and helpful. If you don't mind the micro rooms, the location is very convenient to the tube, shopping and dining.

Great hotel, clean and modern and convenient location. Friendly staff. We had a lovely room with a large decked terrace area. Gloucester Rd tube stn is literally across the rd.

Convenient, clean and pretty good price for London.

Nice little hotel close to the local museums and not too far from Knightsbridge and Victoria via bus or subway. Breakfast was good with a wide selection and if you are lucky (like us) you may even get a balcony! Would stay there again.

The price was right for us, so we gave it a shot. And we weren't disappointed. The location is fantastic, literally just across from the Gloucester Rd station, near many restaurants and close enough to all of the sightseeing musts. The rooms were small, yes, but comfy and clean, and for the price we weren't sure what to expect (prices in London are outrageous! ) The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was fine; bacon, beans, breads, tomatoes, potatoes, fruits, coffee, juices and yogurts. If it comes in your room rate it is just fine, but I wouldn't recommend paying for it. I believe you could find better around town for the same price range. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and the bar prices were actually pretty reasonable! This was my first trip to England, and it is lovely, but I wouldn't go there with a high expectation of food! Ha! There is a reason you never hear of any English food other than fish and chips. LOL If you can get this hotel for a good price, I would definitely recommend it. For reference, we paid around $135 with tax and breakfast, absolutely worth it, IMHO.

A stay in londes perfect with this hotel super well placed: Metro, Resto, Pub, Fastfood, ticket distributor, change, Supermarket… everything is nearby. Even the shuttle of the Eastbus is not very far (feasible on foot or a metro). Good location Room 405 Quiet (one had asked to be listed garden), and design (redone a new). Flat screen, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, everything is there. A good address for sure. (It was known by chance by booking on voyage SNCF).
