Excellent mid budget hotel for professionals. Good food and plenty of options. Good view of the city. Taxis are available on the front gates. Good restaurants at the back gate.

The location was amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. The beds are of average comfort and quite hard. I was disappointed with the way the bed was made… sheet put on sideways and unable to be tucked in on 2 of 4 sides… affected my sleep with its movement. There was a high level of cleanliness throughout. Great Starbucks on site.

I don't really known how to compare this hotel to others. Is London so I guess it means the hotel is okay. I guess is hard to find hotels like in the USA for a reasonable price. Is a small hotel. It seems like is old. The rooms are small, more than any hotel I have stay. But I guess for what you need it. It has what it needs. And is within walking distance to some attractions and the subway.

Fantastic location just behind the Gloucester station which makes it easily accessible via Tube or bus. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel itself is good for the price with a suitable room size though the bathroom was a tad compact for my taste. Also, they only give you the minimum toiletries. Service is good though with extremely friendly staff for checking in and checking out.

It's a pretty good place to tell you all that architecture-ic style to say. At the first when I was passing from that side I saw the building at night and I thought well this might be one of those apartment buildings. Well then I saw the board saying 'Holiday Inn'. Then I thought wow this is a big upgrade to the Holiday Inn comparing to other countries one. Even near my house there aren't such good hotels (Residential area. ). From a scale of 1 to 10 I would like to rate it a 8 because it is definitely good but it's not like it can't get improved and even you should keep on exploring maybe you'll find a hotel that is better than this one. So that's why I rated it a 8.

Good location however the reception staff was not friendly. In the bedroom, the tray with the tea cups was not clean, chipped tea cup, spoon had seen better days. First time I have been in a hotel where I couldn't make a cup of tea. In the bathroom, the basin was cracked, the tray with bath gel wasn't clean. Outside the room, in the corner, there was a tray with dirty plates and a black bag with rubbish. Even when we checked out, no one had removed the tray. The management need to pay more attention to details.

Not bad as bland corporate hotels go. Perfect for business customers. The Tavern is nice but very busy. Large foyer where you can relax. Safe card controlled lifts. Clean rooms. Good location and smart thinking entrance at the back away from traffic. Taxi area needs stricter controls. Large rotating door entrance. Lots of check in bays. Yeah not bad for what it does.

The hotel is easy to find and although not especially pretty from the outside (compared with the other buildings around it), it's fine once inside. The staff were pleasant and helpful, they rectified the issues I raised with them quickly and successfully. The room was comfortable and for the most part clean, though some things had been missed (there were smudges on the mirror for instance and the remote was sticky and didn't work — which turned out to be because a previous occupant had pinched the batteries and replaced them with dud ones). There was a fridge, a loveseat and a safe. The bathroom was a little tight but comfortable enough. The breakfast was very good, although it was very busy the queues did move relatively quickly. They had a range of options which are served as a buffet £11.95 when I purchased it the night before — which was cheaper as a single traveller than booking the room with breakfast included).

The location is perfect next to a tube station. And the rooms to be honest are very huge for any events like weddings and the tables are extremely big to sit 10 to 12 people… The service provided was excellent from the hospitality of the staff who are readily on hand to cater to your every need. Would recommend to any organisation to book here. The buffet style presentation of the food was remarkable and very tasty indeed …

A certainty in the way of welcoming. Friendly and helpful staff, cleanliness, international breakfast and from a certain floor up you enjoy a breathtaking view of the City of London. I would recommend it without any doubt.

We stayed here before we got on a cruise. Amazing staff, clean comfortable rooms. The bed was a bit too stiff for our tastes but others love a firm mattress. 1 block from the Tube station, less for the bus. Get the Oyster card on day one and use Google Maps, and you can get anywhere in short order.

Friendly staff. Comfortable room and rich breakfast buffet. Great location to walk to several attractions including the Natural history museums and the Victoria and Albert.

Good value for money The location is very convenient, a two minute walk from Gloucester Road subway station. The area is served by everything, restaurants, pubs, markets, souvenir shops, etc. Our room with bathroom was very clean, the mattress very comfortable, the room quiet. From our floor you could admire all of London in its beauty. The staff is very friendly and helpful. International breakfast buffet rich and varied. A comfortable pub on the ground floor offers traditional English dishes and great beers.

We are rather dissatisfied with the experience: bad reception, forty minutes waiting in the middle of the night before we can go up to our room, very expensive breakfasts, we were not able to take a meal for our last day at The hotel, no refund possible, £20 evaporés stupidly.
We asked for a room for two, we had two separate beds, the rooms are connected by a closed door, you hear its neighbors talking and snoring at night and the TV buzz.
Sound and thermal insulation to review and, the attic, fins of ventilation that make a noise to wake the dead.
Breakfast varied and very good, range of opening hours quite extensive.
However, €550 for four nights in a neighborhood as posh as that of Kensington, we can almost estimate ourselves happy with the service received.

Spectacular location, 3 stops from Victoria, great local nearby, super friendly staff, good rooms and excellent breakfast.

I'm giving 4 stars mainly because the bed was very comfortable. The rest of it was 3 stars but the bed is the main need for me. The room was in need of redecoration to make it look cleaner & the bathroom was ok but the shower water pressure was a bit low. It's not the best hotel I've stayed in but it is better than others. If you want luxury or to impress then it's not for you but if you are looking for a comfortable bed whilst working or on a shopping trip etc. Then it is fine. I would stay again & I am pretty fussy.

Average home, we had to claim everything. Average hotel. Good, good price for London and close to Victoria station for Gatwick Direct, metro line to Heathrow Direct, Museum district. Not far from Buckingham and the parks.

Rooms are very good, breakfast is fantastic and the staff is really very friendly and helpful.

Actually very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, I expected it to be very standard but the rooms are of comfortable size with good amenities. The breakfast buffet is quite extensive with yogurts, fruits, pastries but also cooked breakfast and pancakes. The wait to check in was longer than I was happy with because the hotel was completely booked and fishing rooms was hard (? ) but apart from that, I was happy with the experience.

Good place to stay at… small rooms . But clean rooms. Hotel is in close proximity of Gloucester tube station. Nice shipping place next door. Lots of eateries. Enjoyed stay here.

Good value for money and good location. Breakfast very good compared to others in the area. The bad thing, the hotel has charged twice the amount of the room without saying anything and now to return the extra charge is a torture. Neither they know if it was an error or if it is a charge that do nothing more to guarantee that there is balance in card, the case is that after leaving I have blocked twice the amount and not when they will return. I do not understand these charges in advance that the only thing they do is harm.

A large hotel adjacent to Gloucester Road tube station. Gym facilities and car parking on site. Rooms are clean and spacious. Staff are helpful. There is a traditional British pub at the rear of the hotel, accessible from the main reception area, or a back door. Serves food and beers, wines etc. Great location, 20 minutes from Trafalgar Square, 10 minutes from Westminster and Green Park (Buckingham Palace) by tube.

Nice and courteous staff. Relatively small rooms. Good connection to the subway.

Spotless and bright. Staff all helpful and informative. Room is comfortable and warm. Fridge in room (now stocked). Close to tube station and easy access to the sights of the City. Highly recommended!

Overall, this is a pretty good hotel. Staff is friendly and usually helpful. The one issue I have had repeatedly is that it is common to receive different information about the same issue. Make sure you are clear about what you were told, note down who told you, and don't accept a later change of information. I woul have given five stars if it were not for this.

Hotel of high capacity, but it feels good, room correct, well equipped, good reception and breakfasts very well. Well placed hotel close to the Metro.

Location very close to Gloucester Road Station with 6 minutes by subway, District Line, with central London (Victoria Station).
The hotel is very correct and quiet. Regular breakfast buffet. Around the hotel there are fast-food restaurants such as KFC and Burger King. A supermarket, streets to walk quietly. The Kensington neighborhood where the hotel is located is safe and elitist.

An infinite sadness. The rooms of the Loculi. Central and quiet location.

Enjoyed our stay. A little far out for the shows. Difficult getting taxis back after shows, but the bus driver was very nice and waved us on without charging. The 4 hrs spent in the natural history museum was really enjoyable.

Wonderfully centralized and a short tube to every sightseeing or cultural venue. Delighted my better half with Cricket tickets for Lords. His first time at Lords my first cricket match. We celebrated in the hotel VIP bar with Champagne thankyou… Memories are made beautiful here x.

Comfortable Hotel Spaçieux. Pool and spa very nice. Breakfast Excellent location. Shops and museums nearby.

Decent price and helpful staff. The walkway into each room is TINY; as are the bathrooms. The water pressure is pretty disappointing too (lower than I've experienced elsewhere). I found a few hairs in the bathroom from a previous tenant (yuck). The bed is firm (I prefer softer mattresses). Internet speed is good. Lots of nice restaurants nearby and the tube is just down the street (easy to get into town or the airport and you can buy an oyster card at the station itself). Big grocery store just a couple blocks away (Sainsbury) if you don't want to eat out every night.

Excellent location and reception Unfortunately the rooms are not at all nice, detached wallpaper, ruined carpet, moldy and dangling window seals. We waited an hour and a half over the maximum time suggested by them to have our room, at the end we were given another really bad one, especially after the long wait.

Hotel Rooms with bad heating. Bad mattress and bad pillows. At the front desk they don't answer the phone. In short… not repeat.

Hotel corresponding to its standing. Clean and spacious room. By cons breakfast not very good and systematic refusal to heat the vegetable milk of our daughters.

Although they have carpet and the furniture is a bit dated, the staff very friendly always available, cleanliness well and great location near almost everything, Metro next door and bus stops, very comfortable.

Outstanding as always! Clean rooms, clean public areas, outstanding housekeeping staff, better than average breakfast! The ONLY place I stay when on holiday in London. Just 1 block from Gloucester Rd tube station, so everything in central London is accessible within 15 minutes! The executive rooms and suites are worth the upgrade, along with the breakfast!

Location Perfect: both subway close, as well as Hyde Park for jogging, but traffic is not quiet — with shelled windows it goes. We had a view of the city, the Sun tickled us from sleep:-) The furnishings are very practical and functional (although something has come into the years), kitchenette, clothesline etc. Even a continental Outlet. Concierge knew about everything we asked, British humor included;-)

Lobby is much more impressive than the rooms, but regardless is relatively affordable, clean and convenient. About 15 minutes' walk from the Albert Hall and museums. Breakfast good.

Good hotel to visit London. Central and very close to shops and restaurants, and other points of interest. Very close to the bus stop and the subway. But with everything you need.

All Right. Only the room very small.

The rooms are old and dated. All the furnishings except the bed have seen better days. But, believe it or not this place is still better than the way it was before. The elevator refurbishment is finally complete so it doesn't take 20mins to try to get up or down. And the hotel finally upgraded it's Wi-Fi from it's former dial up speed slowness to something you can stream videos on. Staff have always been efficient. They're not the nicest but they'll get the job done.

Ok but without more, antiquated but personal to the small care, too expensive for a nickname 4 stars.

Hotel is a bit old. Room is clean but typically London-small by Asian standards. Service is good. Toilet fixtures are not terribly solid feeling and water pressure is lousy. Great location though and for the price I think it's OK. I think I would pay a little bit more to try a different property next trip.

Though I didn't stay in the hotel personally, I spent a night there and it was comfortable. The room was cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast was unimaginable. Love it! l Love it! Love it!

Great hotel located in a great London location. Very convenient for the tube station and many London attractions. The rooms are nice, has central air conditioning and restaurants. Also restaurants and a grocery store close by. The beds are a bit hard like most UK and European hotels. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Located on Cromwell road near Cromwell hospital. At short walking distance from earls court, south Kensington, and Kensington high street. We visited the restaurant which was nice. The Steak was amazing with sweet potato chips. Also they are part of the taste card which was a bonus.

It was a pleasant stay, but the room was surprisingly run down. There was lime scale on the shower head too and broken fixtures. (See photos) The staff were polite. I stayed in better Holiday Inns, namely Holiday inn Alseeb.

Very good location. Helpful staff and well prepared to collaborate with the passenger. Breakfast very complete and varied, living room comfortable and spacious, not so the rooms that are very very very small, narrow to the point of not having room to walk between the bed and the wardrobe.

First room had a leak in the floor, we reported it and nothing was done. We called again and were told that we spilled something in the room which we had not. Finally, we called again and were relocated to another room The second room had mold in the shower, but at least there wasn't a leak in the floor! But then, we get back to our room after touring and find a note under our door that said we need to move rooms again because there was a mistake made by the hotel and they had put us in a room that was already booked. We are now in our third hotel room and there is no fridge, no safe, and it smells a bit like sweat. So, although the location is nice and the food is adequate. I would NOT recommend staying here. And hotel was generally alright.

Professional ambience, very friendly and courteous staff. Make sure to bring adapters for outlets, no conferred and the outlets installed in the room are not sufficient according to the German standard. The English breakfast could be better, the scrambled eggs are not good. Otherwise really very (! ) English. Beginners. But there is also a good and tasty selection of things that everyone should taste. The fitness room is good and offers the most necessary, but would have liked to be a bit bigger, as everything is just available.

The rooms are very dated. Housekeeping is good. Breakfast is nice and well stocked. Air conditioning in my room is leaking water. It is generally quiet in the room. There is only one type A electrical outlet. The refrigerator in the room does not keep things cold. Wifi is free. Speed is adequate when it's working. No safe in the room.

The Hotel is conveniently located in 80MT from the Gloucester road stop, very convenient as it is covered by green, yellow and blue line i. E. Circle District Line and Piccadilly, the Metro is only 80mt. The area is full of restaurants within 500 Mt you go from French to Indian passing through American without forgetting fast food.
Excellent breakfast in quantity and quality.

Great central location near the metro and served every amenity is very close to the Natural History Museum, Starbucks and Tesco. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, unbeatable views of London from the top floors — and extremely close to Gloucester Tube station. The hotel's proximity to restaurants and tourists sights is second to none. Yes, rooms are somewhat small compared to other hotels close by, but everything the rooms have works and works well. Breakfast is excellent — with a huge range of lovely goodies to break fast. The in house restaurant is quite good as well, which helps on days in winter when it's not too nice to go out looking for somewhere to eat — unless of course you pay a taxi to take you somewhere you may not know have eaten before! The staff is very helpful and really nice — always eager to help, very good training. We shall be staying there once more at the end of this month.

Hotel big and a little dated but: tasteful and spotlessly clean, great service. Entertainment. Located in a very nice neighbourhood of London, just a few steps from the metro. A few stops away you're in Piccadilly Circus! Convenient for business and tourism. I recommend it.

Holiday Inn Kensington Forum is in a great location. Gloucester Rd tube just a 2 minute walk away. The staff are brilliant at this hotel, very welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Especially the exec rooms.

Great location, 2mins tops to the Gloucester Station! My room was on the 16th floor (do put in a request) and I had an epic view, could see the Shard and London Eye in the distance! Only issue is that the windows were rather dusty. Would definitely stay with them on my next trip.

Very nice hotel. Heating and cooling is centrally controlled and during shoulder months it may be on heating mode when it's hot outside and your room will be extremely warm. They are very attentive and make to turn on the coming but not until I asked. Breakfast buffet is very nice and hotel staff are extremely nice. Location is perfect.

It's an alright hotel in a very good location. Close to Gloucester underground and lots of nice restaurants. Restaurant over priced with very small portions. Rib eye steak for £22 and terrible value for money. Internet ok. The room for people with disabilities was terribly inadequate. No hoist, no anti-slip matt, bath not suitable for individuals with larger frames. Rooms had good climate control, TV and kettle.

Hotel convenientally located and is very close to good restaurants and underground train station. Good customer service. That's where the good ends. Property is very old, elevators have issues, and there is no way terms pressure. They offer free Wi-Fi but the speed leaves much to desire, just a few kbps. Rooms have a TV and desk but is too small. Beds are OK and not too comfy.

In this modern age, the complimentary free Wi-Fi is just fast enough for messaging. If u need to surf the net or stream video, u need to pay for a higher speed. Which is totally unacceptable in the year of 2016. Breakfast was Ok but the service was bad. The staff cant be bother to offer u coffee or tea.

We had a twin room and was a decent size, the bathroom was compact but had everything one needed. The facilities were good, had all the usual items tea, coffee etc. The room was also lovely and clean. It is located in a very good area with the tube, small selection of shops and restaurants near by. It was also within walking distance of The Royal Albert Hall and a few museums. I felt it was value for money and I really enjoyed my stay.

Overall the hotel is great. I tend to stay 2 to 3 nights a week and its my preferred Holiday Inn. There are more modern and clean cut Holiday Inns in London but it makes up for it with great staff, a gym, good size rooms, good food and an executive lounge with food and alcohol served between 6 (I think) and 8.30pm if you book an executive or deluxe room. If you are planning to stay and book executive your first time might be best to stay on the 27th floor. You get to see the whole of London such as the London Eye and the Shard. I say the first time… Water pressure is bad up there so next time you'd want a lower floor ;) For the tube, you're around the corner from the station and it takes about 15-20 mins to get into central London. As I said, it isn't the most modern of hotels but if you can look past that you are staying in a great place.

This hotel was terrible. Upon arrival landing from Australia we tried checking in and were told by a women who seemed to not have a clue that we had not payed which indeed we had 4 months previously. After contacting our travel agent she stated they had not chased up the third party form. That was fine sorted. Then the women proceeded to say we need to pay a £150 bond which is standard but would not give us a receipt. The next day we realised they had taken £600 out of our account! After many words with the manager he said he will compensate us for our trouble. It is now 10 days later. No compensation, Money is still pending and the manager is on holidays for two weeks.

As a Gold Elite member, I did not get a FREE upgrade to IHG Reward Club floor, luckily the room had a refrigerator. My room faces the airline routes to Heathrow Airport, so you will hear airplane roaring acrossing your room at 5AM. Hotel has extremely poor high speed wireless internet. However, the location is less than 5 mins away from metro station, less than 30 mins away from major attractions and closed to many delicious eateries and supermarkets.

Fairly standard holiday inn. Rooms are in need of refurbishment. There is a lounge but access only if paying… Even if holding top tier status.

We used a room on the first floor to host a banquet even. The staff were nice and worked effectively and the hotel is very classy. I had a great time.

The concierge is extremely helpful! Ask then anything and they will have an answer. The hotel has easy access to the tube and has many places within walking distance to eat. Rooms are pleasant. Slightly on the small side, and the rooms (I believe on the even number side) that face the street and trains can be a little noisy. Wish they had an actual coffee maker in the room, but the hot water kettle works just fine. The pub on the ground floor is really good as well. Very decent prices for a hotel restaurant/bar. Overall I enjoy staying at this location.

Good location, both close to the airport with a subway line straight there and very close to the centre of London. Large breakfast selection but the croissants and the Paine chocolate were very dry. The decor was a little old, like from the 80-90:s, but I feel like that's the case for all Holiday Inn's.

Large comfortable rooms, excellent food, excellent service.

It was very good and that the location excellent there is many comfy and restaurants behind the hotel but no Wi-Fi free this is a long far from downtown.

Ms. Fil, who accommodated us in the reception was very helpful to us during our 8 day stay. I would miss the breakfast most especially the chocolate muffin and the mushroom omelette.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Our first experience was great (2007), however, this time it was the exact opposite. After waiting 7 hours for an "upgrade" room to be available, the room we were assigned had an air conditioner that did not work. The room was exceedingly hot. We changed to another room after we found out that the front desk knew all along that the AC was inoperable in the first room and never bothered to tell us. The AC in the second room (smaller, not an upgrade) worked marginally for a time, but it, too stopped working. After several calls, maintenance turned it back on (we later learned that the AC was turned off remotely even while we were in the room). It took 2 days to get a light bulb replaced (the concierge was the only one that seemed to be able to get things done). While the front desk folks were polite, it was obvious that they were limited by management in what they could do or say. It was equally obvious that management does not care about the guests.

Good hotel, Europe sized rooms that are well appointed, black out curtains get a D — and are barely effective.

Careful, very unreliable Internet, hotel not maintained well, half of the lifts were broken. Can't recommend if on a business trip. Might be fine for tourists. No kingsize beds.

A place of pure tasteful luxury. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are all so friendly. There are a few different restaurants to eat in, to which you should reserve. But even if you show up for an unscheduled afternoon tea in the parlor underneath their large lights they will be happy to find a spot. I go here all the time.

A 5-star for their customer service, place and hotel services. They got nice and friendly staffs that will welcome you with a beautiful smile so one pretty smile can make a day wonderful. I was happy with my experience here so far.

I can not fault this hotel at all — Clean room, friendly and curtious staff, comfy bed, spacious bathroom (I'm rather rotund — there was enough room for me and hubby in it). The breakfast buffet was lovely — huge choice on offer — suits all tastes. Luggage storage was very good — we arrived a couple of hours before check'in, they stored our cases whilst we went to the pub for lunch. They also took care of cases after we checked out and went to see Buckingham Palace. Me and my husband are both troubled with joint problems in the legs — The underground station being a couple of minutes walk from the hotel was perfect. A gorgeous pub with excellent fish and chips round the corner. There was a Garfunkel's, Asda and Waitrose very close. This will be the only hotel we will be staying in from now on when we visit london.

Too bad you can't give a zero or negative star rating. Please read on to see my formal complaint to the hotel and their insincere response. Do not book, they provide poor service, unsanitary conditions and they could care less. My Formal Complaint: I apologize in advance for sending this formal complaint to the corporate office, as I do not typically complain. In addition, it is also important to note that I attempted to seek help from the hotel staff, but every time we sought help from the staff we were treated as though we were being burdensome. Like all guests, we paid good money to stay here only to be treated poorly and boarded in unsanitary conditions. I convinced my husband that staying at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum during our trip to the UK would be a great idea (it had 4 stars). Check-in went fine and the woman assisting us was great; turns out she was the only staff member that would be nice to us during our stay. Upon arriving to our room we quickly realized the accommodations were lacking, but we were okay with that. We took off to explore the city and returned later that night to take showers. I quickly realized there was an abundant supply of mold in the shower, which is somewhat acceptable (I am a frequent traveler with realistic expectations). But this is the first in my travels I'd ever experienced crystallized mold in the shower, suggesting no cleaning agents were used. Bleach would have stopped the spread and clearly was never used.
