Comfortable and clean, excellent friendly and efficient service, enjoyable breakfast. Lack of a lift might be difficult for some, but value for money is good considering it's central London.

It is a good hotel located near the British Museum. Breakfast is very good and the facilities very acceptable. They are very kind in the attention.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are small but clean and are priced accordingly. Would go back.

Perfect location! At a 15 minutes walk from St-Pancras, et 2 minutes from the British Museum — and in a beautiful street, the location is perfect. The rooms are very tidy and the owners very friendly. Unfortunatly the bathrooms ar not really comfortable; You'd want a room at the back side of the hotel, due to bad isolated windows. Inside the hotel it is really quiet. There is no lift, so if you are not in a good condition don't take a room on the upper floor — as we dit ;)

Disgusted by the stinking racist attitude of the receptionist Thomas who would not allow a heavily pregnant women to use the toilet. He stood there arguing with me about he did not know me and can’t allow me access to the toilet. Even though it was very obvious to see, I also made it a point to tell him that I was pregnant but he still denied me access to the toilet. My husband tried to have a word with them after I came out, but he did not let him in. I spoke to the manager, who said that they always let the public use the toilet. If that is the case, I cannot find any other reason as to why he did that apart from him being RACIST as I wear a headscarf!

Great price-quality! Quiet but central, good old English breakfast is included, stuff is friendly and helpful ;) It is not brand new, but got great character!

Basic but in a quiet side street you could easily forget you were in London. Friendly staff and a relaxed cooked breakfast. Only small criticism was that I emailed the hotel prior to let them know I. Was vegan but they didn't get the message so food was restricted. Shower was tiny and a mixer tap that kept dropping forward making showering a rather unpleasant cramped affair, I'm a broad built 5'10 fella! Complimentary night cap was a nice touch and room was spotless bed comfy. Top floor is a trek especially if your infirm of asthmatic.

Well located hotel. Basic but clean rooms. No mini fridge. Excellent breakfast. Very small shower.

Perfect location, old fashion hotel, peaceful, good breakfast. Unfortunately there is no elevator and rooms on top floor have very tiny showers.

Cute, clean hotel with small but comfortable rooms. Very nice location, close to kings cross station, the British museum and in a reasonable walking distance to Soho/Covent garden. Quiet neighbourhood next to Bloomsbury square garden and a lot of shops for a quick bite close by. Nice and friendly staff. Breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a fairly priced hotel in a central location.

Just check which floor your room is on as the third floor the stairs are quite steep.

The hotel is lovely and clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. They accommodated my ground floor need and waited patiently whilst I searched for my lost back card! breakfast was actually a proper cooked English, in my experience rare in London! My only complaint would be the size of the shower cubicle — is a good job I'm 5 not 9 months pregnant but would definatly stop here again. £6 from the station by taxi and morning cans ridiculously easy to pick up (took about 2 minutes)!
