DO NOT GO HERE! Worst hotel in the world! Roach infested. Hidden fees and they will charge you for damages that aren't there. You can find a better Motel in the hood! Never going back…

Roach infested. I stayed there for ONE NIGHT and the receipt shows $76 but they charged my card $136 for a bunch of random fees they never warned me about. Baby roaches everywhere, I killed 10 in one night. Horrible quality television, small space, and I found hair on the wall of the shower that didnt belong to me. Do not go here.

It's a really beautiful hotel and the staff is great nice rooms well kept up.

I'm an hour into my reservation, and I should've walked out when I heard the customer ahead of me complaining. The guy at the desk let me know our room might or might not be clean. Halls ways are hot and smell old, I opened my door and got a wiff of musty smell. Room was dark and air conditioner was off. Room was hot so figured we would go to the pool, they kicked everyone out of the pool for a 4 hour cleaning I will not stay here again! Horrible.

It was a nice place. I stopped there to use the restroom and I can say, the lobby restrooms we're very clean. Thanks Clarion!

Great staff clean room breakfast $8 not worth it.

The Room was a great size with great king size bed with extra sq foot edges! House keeping wouldn’t bring any towels at all had to exchange them witch was a haste and they didn’t bring us more shampoo and conditioner.

I checked into this hotel this past weekend. Grant it I checked in late Omar assured me it would be ok… When I got to the room it wasn't up to standards… Later I learned that I was charged twice for the room. When I tried to contact the someone they established that Omar would have to correct the problem. I asked for the manager no one ever called me back. I had to dispute the charge through my bank… This hotel is trash and I would not recommend anyone stay here… The staff wasn't helpful and it was hassle getting my money back.

Had some issues that were resolved by staff. We stayed 2 nights. We were gone the majority of the second day, came back and room had never been cleaned. Had to get ready for a wedding and use towels that had been used the night before out at the pool. Room safe never worked. Staff offered to move us to a different room but that led to a discussion between the shift change employees that got me upset so we stayed where we were. There is a small pool but the hot tub was broken. Check-in seem to take a long time and she could not print a receipt for checkout so was going to email it. We were given two free continental breakfasts (that we did not utilize) for our inconvenience. Speaking of breakfast they charge $8 per person for a typical continental breakfast, children under 12 eat free with paying adult. Since I normally eat a bowl of oatmeal, a piece of toast and glass of juice, that seemed exhorbitant. On the plus side the rooms were very large. We had two queen beds plus a couch, desk, coffee table, refrigerator / freezer, microwave, coffee pot. I slept very good both nights, as did my husband. There was coffee and tea in the lobby most of the day. Not sure I will stay here again. Not bad but lots of hotels around to choose from.

Website says there is a restaurant and a bar. They are talking about the breakfast bar. No restaurant or actual bar. Also, the commercials say free waffles. No free waffles here. The breakfast bar is an extra $8 + tax. My second night, I got back to the room, someone had stripped all the linen and comforter off the bed, and not returned them. The night desk clerk pulled some out of another room, and came and made the bed. He said something about a broken dryer. As other reviewers have stated, the entrance is under construction, and difficult to find, and if you miss it, you have to drive miles to get back around to the I 45 frontage road to give it another try.

The staff was great to my son and I! Cindy at front desk treated us like friends. Lady in breakfast area catered to our every need. In a 3 night stay we never had to ask for anything. Room was well supplied and comfy. Loved their hospitality!

Booked a room through expedia and then saw a bunch of reviews about how dirty the hotel is and how this hotel had bugs so I decided to cancel my reservations. So 10 mins after booking the room I called expedia to cancel and was told that the hotel has a non refundable fee which is the entire hotel bill of $451.94. Expedia said that they would call the hotel to see if they would wave this fee. They said they spoke with cindy and she agreed to wave the fee and I would not be charged. 20 mins later there was a charge on my credit card. Called expedia again and once again they said they spoke with cindy and she assured them that I was not being charged and this is just pending and it would fall off in a couple of days. 3 days later the charge went through my credit card. I have spent days and hours on the phone with cindy from the hotel and expedia both claiming that they didnt charge my card and both claiming its the others ones policy of non refundable room charge. I had to put a dispute with my credit card company to see if they could help. Not one person from this hotel will take any responsibility for the charge to my account even though my credit card statement says clarion hotel.

Good place to stay for the price. A little hard to find with all the construction going on.

Service was friendly but bathroom wasn't clean and they didn't clean my room for some reason. Also no stocked mini fridge so had to go to way over priced vending machine in lobby for a snack when I got in late and hadn't eaten anything. Expedia said it had free continental breakfast but they charged me $8 for it. Probably won't be back.

Convenient Woodlands location. Nice breakfast buffet, friendly staff.

Place is a joke, got put in the wrong room, 2 start with! Wi-Fi was slow and breakfast! Terrible! If you can find another place.

Writing this from the room. This bed is very uncomfortable. The room is hot as the unit won't cool the room. The toilet constantly runs. And the decor is horrible. I literally am afraid to go into the hallway because all I can think of is killer clowns. I should have stayed somewhere else. It is 3 am now and I hurt all over from sleeping in this bed.

My girlfriend and I️ stayed here for about a month due to the the flooding with Hurricane Harvey. The staff was very nice and helpful. They accommodated our pets as well. Sure the turn down service didn’t leave any extra coffee. I️ just snuck a few off her cart later :) The woman that works the breakfast thru the week was very helpful and hard working. Thank you every for all your help!

Unfortunately was not the best night to stay at the Carion Hotel at The Woodlands. For the price, was expecting a nice comfortable stay. Sadly, upon arrival, no one was available to attend us. Apparently there was a small fire in the hotel next door so some of the guests were being transferred over to this hotel. And as a result, we weren’t accommodated into our room about an hour later. The hotel conditions was very poor and outdated, rooms weren’t thoroughly cleaned, service was poor and delayed.

This visit was my absolute worst. The lady (Grace) at the front desk was extremely rude and would not even give us a number for a supervisor. Absolute worst customer service I have ever personally experienced not only for a hotel but any establishment in my life.

Josh and Grace are the best they helped my brother and 77 yr old grandmother after Hurricane Harvey. This hotel is beautiful the staff really care about people and their situations! This hotel is first class all the way.

Awesome lady at the front desk when we checked in! After a hotel in Galveston cancelled our res without notifying us we started driving north toward home and stopped in here. Hotel was old but nice. Quiet and comfy. I can't complain at all. Great experience!

On the frontage road / feeder for I45 just north of the Woodlands. Hot tub is empty of water, pool is closed but you can use the one next door. Red Lobster is next door, Outback Steakhouse is 3 buildings North, Walmart one exit up I45. Good staff, comfy rooms (with a couch), decent breakfast, but cleaning not so good. We left a glass 1/2 full of water in the bathroom, a bit of milk in a go cup from breakfast, etc — all were there at the end of the day. Carpet is old and dated in rooms (hall is nice and colorful floral print). Laundry on second floor, $1.00 to wash, $1.50 to (really, really) dry, commercial size.

Lovely place. Amazing staff. Always ask for Josh. Best employee by far. In my opinion he should be management over everything. Always above and beyond doing his part. Much less clean spacious rooms available.

Stayed there getting a deal through one of those apps. First impressions, the lobby looked nice, the carpet was a puke green color with sun patterns and the walls w were painted red. First thing I did was search for clues of bed bugs, pulling out the mattress looking for little red or brown spots in the mattress and find none. Mattresses were comfy and I slept better than I usually do with my bad back. However, after first night noticed the TV reception was so bad I could barely get a picture and if I found a channel with a good picture the TV made a squealing sound. Also found 2 roaches and notified the front desk. They promised to spray later. The free breakfast was kind of a crap shoot, eggs were powdered and nasty, sausages good, potatoes under cooked. The staff was nice but that didn't make up for the condition of the hotel. I felt like I was staying at a dump that had had a coat of paint thrown over to make it look new. The hotel doesn't deserve the staff it has, they were the only reason I finished the stay.

The breakfast was good, the customer service is great, the hotel is a little outdated.

The staff stoked my brand new shoes that I just bought never got to wear them. Than I called the hotel about the issue and the staff was rude. The Manger was even worse. When I fists got to the hotel there was bugs in the room with no cable I don't recommend this hotel.

THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IF THEY FIND OUT YOU SMOKE! BEWARE OF SMOKERS! When I arrived to the hotel, they were unsure of payment being made which was fishy. I told them not to double charge me. So I gave them another card. Then My aunt and my best friend are smokers but never smoked inside, they went outside every time. Then to come find out that they charged my card $168 because they said we were smoking inside! they are rip offs! they are scammers and want your money and will scam you for anything they can!

WORST HOTEL EVER! GRACE is the owner of this "hotel" more like "crack motel" and she is the worst at hospitality. She will robb you of your hard earned money. It's not worth the high rate she charges. Don't stay there! This hotel is so disgusting, it makes The Woodlands look bad. It's crawling with roaches, and the rooms look and feel so dirty as if they haven't been deeply cleaned ever. I was scared to walk around barefoot. It's so outdated, and the rooms are very cluttered. The beds have bed bugs! eeewwww! my husband and I hated this hotel!

This place sucks! I travel for work, this is the worst one yet. 1: the microwave (even though I don't use it) is three scrap ones put together. 2: dead bugs and leaves in the room. 3: none of the outside doors lock. So at anytime anyone can just walk in. … I can go on and on about this place. Short story is it's depressing, literally depressing. There is no " happy, friendly, greeting staff" to meet you when you walk in. No since of " hey stay here. We'll make you feel at home"

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! There were dead Roaches, the sheets and shower curtain were ripped. The Jetted tub I paid for was broken. I asked for a refund and they said no! The pictures of the rooms are very misleading. They false advertise what the king rooms with Jetted tubs look like. Avoid avoid avoid!

This hotel is running a scam. I was responsible for a group consisting of 7 rooms and 16 people. We actually had reserved a different hotel months in advance but were bumped to this hotel the week prior to our arrival. To keep this brief, of the 10 people splitting the costs for the 7 rooms, 7 were overcharged ~$400 to over $2000 for their stay. Two thousand dollars. And everyone's bill included "safe charges" per day. When asked about these all of these charges, the Director of Sales and Operations repeatedly said they were just "authorizations. " All of the amounts were random, on various days and in various amounts. Additionally, the Director of Sales and Operations would NOT give us our room receipts until everyone had checked out on Saturday (we stayed at the hotel for one week). Ultimately, I had to call the Clarion Suites corporate Guest Relations line, who called the hotel to get the charges sorted out. The Guest Relations line was able to see the erroneous room receipts I was given on the day we checked out. Eventually, we did receive accurate receipts, and most charges ended up being dropped, but only thanks to the corporate Guest Relations assistance. However, NONE of the charges were authorizations: all of the charges eventually posted to everyone's accounts, and were written as charges on the erroneous receipts. A few people were even simply just double-charged for their total costs. Almost everyone was double-charged for one of the nights, for some reason.

This is by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Besides the fact that it is completely run down, the manager is a crook, not to mention downright rude. I was staying with a group and was not supposed to be charged for the stay, lo and behold, I now have charges over $400 which she refuses to deal with. She also can't provide a receipt for the charges. Hmmm Does this sound legal to anyone? I am attempting to work with corporate about this, but I will never stay in a Clarion again, and will definitely NEVER stay at this location again. One star is way too generous for this hotel.

This hotel needs to demolished! The lobby decor is just tacky but if only that was the only issue! The bathrooms don't have ac so it gets really hot and you have to keep the door open oh but you have to prop the door open with something bc or else it will close. I asked if I could get another comforter I was told they had run out! The cleaning staff never had enough towels on their carts. The staff was OK. They even ran out of plates at breakfast time. The only way I would stay is if. No I would neveeeeeeer stay here.

The lobby decor is hideous. It had too much going on and it was cluttered. We got into our first room and it was decent. The bedding was too big for the bed and the bed was super uncomfortable. After using the restroom, the toliet was apparently broke and while the tank was refilling, it overflowed and we didnt realize it was running until the floor was soaked all the way to the bed. We were immediatley moved to another room. The second room was aweful! It must had been the catch all room for all other hotel room leftovers. The sofa was blue, the bedding was gold, the TV must have been from the early 90's, and the microwave was looked to be from the 80's. Again the bedding looked way too big for the bed and the bed was super uncomfortable as well. The worst part of our stay was when a storm came though and rained in our room at 3am. The roof didnt just leak, it was pouring. It was 3am so I wasnt wanting to change rooms again, so I decided to put 2 trash cans with towels in them under two of the leaks, a towel under another and just decided to let is pour onto the sofa. I was hoping the towels would cushion the sound of the water but it didnt. Needless to say, I was unable to sleep due to the sound of the flowing water from the ceiling. The only thing that made me happy about this hotel was checking out. We informed the front desk of the roof situation as we were leaving and the man at the counter didnt seem concerned at all.

There was nothing about this location we did not love. The remodel was evident. The pool was as good as it looks and the rooms were extremely spacious and enjoyable. The staff was uniquely friendly and gracious. One staff member even brought the complimentary dinner back out for us after she had put it away. We had just walked in from a long day at a convention and it meant the world to us. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay.

Bed bugs bed bugs! extremelt dirty rooms with trash behid night stands and under the sheets! will never stay there again and dont recomend to anyone! save yourlsef from bed bug infestation.
