Review of Comfort Suites Shenandoah-The Woodlands 2*

The lobby decor is hideous. It had too much going on and it was cluttered. We got into our first room and it was decent. The bedding was too big for the bed and the bed was super uncomfortable. After using the restroom, the toliet was apparently broke and while the tank was refilling, it overflowed and we didnt realize it was running until the floor was soaked all the way to the bed. We were immediatley moved to another room. The second room was aweful! It must had been the catch all room for all other hotel room leftovers. The sofa was blue, the bedding was gold, the TV must have been from the early 90's, and the microwave was looked to be from the 80's. Again the bedding looked way too big for the bed and the bed was super uncomfortable as well. The worst part of our stay was when a storm came though and rained in our room at 3am. The roof didnt just leak, it was pouring. It was 3am so I wasnt wanting to change rooms again, so I decided to put 2 trash cans with towels in them under two of the leaks, a towel under another and just decided to let is pour onto the sofa. I was hoping the towels would cushion the sound of the water but it didnt. Needless to say, I was unable to sleep due to the sound of the flowing water from the ceiling. The only thing that made me happy about this hotel was checking out. We informed the front desk of the roof situation as we were leaving and the man at the counter didnt seem concerned at all. He told me ok and took my key and that was the end of my horrific stay.
