This hotel was fantastic. Super fancy, located right next to the free way, and about 20 minutes from Padre Island. No free breakfast though.

First time here in US, I would like to say it's a Great place, friendly customer service from the check in counter. Very beautiful hotel and room. As a Muslim, it's hard to get halal food. Very good recommends from the Bistro. Little green Caesar without the chicken.

Very good service, comfortable facilities. Only the doors don't seal off completely the noise. Even so, excellent hotel.

Waste of money and time. The room is average. The food is awfully in the bistro. Stay and u will regret.

Very well taken care of. My room was clean and loved the 2 free draft beers offered at happy hour. Not much for food during happy hour, but we had plans to eat elsewhere anyways.

Fast check in and check out, the staffs were friendly, the room was good too. The hotels environment was also good. They do have the bistro, which is really helpful if you dont have ride.

We have been staying at the Courtyard for the past 5 yrs now and we wouldn't change it for anything. We like the service, the room, and privacy that we receive every time we stay. The location is not like home but it is close to mostly everything.

Located next to tons of great food options. Friendly staff, free beer between 5 and 7pm Monday through Thursday. Rooms were more than sufficient with comfy pillows. Would stay again.

Had a meeting at Marriott. Meeting room appeared small but accomodated all of us. Lunch was provided by the in-house restaurant. Good selection and service. Nice to see quality food service area.

Came from Dallas to Brownsville for a flag football tournament. After reading reviews for Holiday Inn, Comfort inn, and Courtyard I had a hard time choosing because they all had fairly good ratings. What made the Courtyard stand out from the rest is that they offered a group rate for people who were here for the tournament. I called the other 2 options and inquired on wether or not they offered a group rate for tournament and I was told no, however, they would be willing to lower cost so that I would not cancel my reservation. I do appreciate both hotels (Holiday inn and comfort) and their generous offers, but Courtyard still offered best rate. Not only that but staff was very, VERY accommodating, and gracious from the lady at front desk to the maintenance man who assisted me with my a. C. And directions to a local store. Ok, last but not least, rooms were very nice clean and comfy.

The accommodation is clean and still new feeling. The bar/ eatery is minimal and yet still adequate. The service was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this to any weary traveler.

Very clean and comfortable. Everyone is nice and willing to help. There is shuttle from the hotel to nearby restaurants and malls. There are microwaveable meals available for purchase. Regardless, this is a great hotel to stay at. There is also Starbucks coffee available for purchase at the hotel. Very good restaurant service, lots of meal options.

Probably one of nicer hotels in Brownsville. Located on the access road so it's near everything. Also a quick 5 minute drive to the border.

I have never had such a great experience anywhere else. Room was spotless, smelled good. Staff was inviting, helpful and too nice. I will definitely stay here again.

I've stayed at multiple hotels in Brownsville as my work requires me to visit here often and I can assure you this is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed in so far.

Good sized and very clean room. Easy access to the freeway to move about the region. We were given a first floor room (not a fan of it), but the hotel is full booked, so there really wasn't another option.

This place smells like mildew. They did not provide continental breakfast. The staff is nice and understanding.

I like Courtyards because they are all pretty much identical. If you've stayed in one, you know exactly what to expect. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful at this one.

Great hotel @ economical price, loved the Room and facilities. It's 1 hour drive from South Padre in crowded days. No complementary break fast though but you will get Microwave/Freezer.

Room was comfortable, but the television was placed wierd. The water did not ever get hot enough in the shower. Loved the curtains.

Horrible hotel. The staff is really prepotent, they stole my wallet with $400 on it and my credit cards, and they didnt do anything about it, they receive me like if I was arriving to prision, if you want a nice stay in a hotel in brownsville PLEASE DONT COME TO THIS AWFUl HOTEL.

As much as I stay at Marriotts I can say this one is at the bottom of my list. Lady at the front desk did not give me the proper welcome. I had to ask about breakfast, location of the elevator, etc. She also said breakfast was free. The other employee said I had to pay for it. (Platinum Elite Membership Status doesnt mean anything here) I asked her for 3 extra towels and I recieved a face like of she was gonna have to make them or something. When I asked for change to dry a load of clothes. They had no coins. HORRIBLE expierence, not ever coming back. No one here is on the same page.

Staff great, food good, beds comfortable, decor beautiful. This is my second visit and it wont be my last.

I left to visit the city and when I returned, my door was left open. Luckily no one went in that I know of. I was told that maintenance would come to check on the door, but no one came. I paid for one more day, and left because my family didn't feel comfortable not knowing our things were safe. Now I'll have to pay for another room somewhere else. Lady at the desk didn't seeded concerned that we were checking out early.

Great service! The staff are very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. I am not making this a five star review because the shower did not work well.

Spring break was awesome but I wish I could say the same about the hotel, The Courtyard in Brownsville. The only time I came to the hotel was to shower and sleep but because the shower curtain was broken water got everywhere. I let the front manger know several times and the only response I got back was I'm not going to charge you for it, meaning they were not going to do anything about it while us staying with them. Do me a favor people, if you do stay with them, avoid room 312 the shower curtain is broken.
