Clean, great rooms. It has a fun hotel bar because of Matthew the bartender. Everyone is eager to please! The building is beautiful and outdoor seating area with firepit was fun be at in the evenings. The pool always seemed to have children yelling in it.

Great modern hotel. Staff was friendly and the room was comfortable and spacious. Good selection for breakfast. Only downside might be that the elevators can be quite loud. Otherwise excellent.

Stayed for two nights with my family of four in a comfortably sized room with two beds plus a sofa bed. The hotel is in a great location near shopping and restaurants and is very modern and clean. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the full spread for breakfast as well as a fun swim in the indoor pool.

I've did the up keep of painting. Very nice and comfortable hotel. Full breakfast, Bar, indoor pool and gym, hot tub. Great place to stay! Location is also very convenient.

There is NO WAY that this hotel should be rated as 2 stars! I've stayed in 5 star hotels and in my younger days at 2 stars. I am not wealthy yet but I am kind of a hotel snob and I literally start to itch if a hotel room even looks like it's 2 stars. Listen A 2 star hotel wouldn't have a guitarist serenading you with live music during breakfast either! That was an Awesome surprise this morning! We stayed here while getting some work done at our house and this is a well appointed hotel with extremely courteous staff and a hot breakfast with a potato sausage skillet that tasted like something you would make for yourself at home. Bed and pillows were very comfy and this is where our out of town guests will stay from now on. Rating definitely needs to be changed from 2 to 3 or 3.5 star hotel. I made a last minute decision to stay at the Marriott and it blew my socks off. The room was impeccably clean, the staff overwhelmingly nice and competent, and overall made my trip to South Carolina far more pleasant. The breakfast buffet was a huge perk for my family since we had an early morning and it was easier to eat at the hotel rather than try to find somewhere else. The front desk went out of their way to provide information about my destination and printed some materials off for me. Marriotts are usually out of my price range, but I totally see where the extra money goes. Definitely will prefer a Marriott from now on.

I arrived yesterday, checking in was very quick, the cards were already waiting for us. When I entered the rooms everything but the shower booth was clean. Overall everything is new and the service personnel is friendly. Breakfast had omlet, waffles, bacon, oatmeal, and yogurt. Coffee was very refreshing. Overall I think that its good value, definitely will recommend.

We frequently stay at SpringHill Suites when we are visiting the area. None of the other hotels in Sumter compare, honestly. Our room is always impeccably tidy and the staff is all very friendly. The breakfast isn't five-star but there are options and it's good enough for hotel food. Our room was cleaned by Harriet last time, and while we didn't meet, I appreciated her attention to detail and thoroughness.

That's pretty nice place, fairly new. A bit more expensive than I wanted to pay $159 plus tax on the weekend. They do serve breakfast and they do have a bar and outside seating.

My 3 kids and I were in town to visit family. The was nicest place that I have ever stayed. The entire building was nice from the outside in. Check-in was a breeze. The room was amazing, breakfast was great and the hot tub was amazing as well. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. I will most definitely be back.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times. Really enjoy the work area that's separated from the bed area. Helps me to put work out of mind when it's time to relax. The separate toilet and shower area would definetly be useful if I wasn't traveling alone.

Checked in after being stuck on 95 in a snow storm. Check in was quick and easy. Clean and comfortable.

Clean and quiet. My husband and I always stay here when we are in town to visit family.

The housekeeping staff needs retrained, period. The first room they gave us had smelly sheets and uncleaned surfaces on the end table and in the bathroom. After we requested a change of room, we found the next room better, but only slightly. There were still unclean surfaces in the bathroom, and while the bed didn't stink like the previous one, it didn't smell fresh and clean either. The front desk as extremely apologetic and accommodating, and they are the only reason I am giving them two stars.

Last minute changes had me staying 4 nights in a row on two different reservations (3 and 1). They blended the reservations together and made it seamless. It sounds simple, but I know they did some manual work behind the scenes. I only verbally told them upon checkin.

The building is quite new and very clean. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was decent, love that it is included in your stay. Great hotel overall, especially at this category of Marriott hotels. Far better than most other Springhill Suites at which I've stayed.

I can't say enough great things about this hotel and staff. When I arrived, Alicia was working the front desk and really getting chewed out by a guest who thought it was her right to get a super late (talking like 5 pm) checkout. Alicia handled it with grace and composure despite everything that was thrown at her. This was of course during the eclipse, thing were hectic, I couldn't find Milk at the grocery store at 9 pm at night so Alicia graciously opened up the breakfast area and grabbed me some milk :-). The hotel was SWAMPED, a complete madhouse trying to turn rooms around for new guests checking in, what stuck with me most was the GENERAL MANAGER cleaning rooms! The entire staff was doing WHATEVER JOB was necessary to make it through a chaotic special event. Hats off!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The ideal place for a nice couples weekend away, but never leave your neighborhood.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Buffet breakfast is good. Only thing that would be nice is adding maybe a potato dish of some sort like hash browns, but otherwise it's pretty good. Location is good as well. You have restaurants handy as well as Walmart close by.

Seemed like a New hotel. Clean. Good amenities. Close to Shaw AFB. Matched gov rate. I like it!

Very clean, friendly staff, huge rooms, beautiful decor, walk in closet so you can put your bags, etc. Away, and a shower & sink in one 'room' and another 'room' with the toilet and sink! Great idea! Highly recommend!

Aside from the hot tub being broken during my stay, I had a great time staying here. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good and our double Queen suite had comfortable beds.

As soon as I walked into this hotel, I felt at home. Extremely clean, modern design, and very cool ambience. The staff are very kind and amicable. They make you feel welcomed. My room was a double queen and it looked like a little studio apartment. I loved the setup and accentuation of the decor. The shower was designed with clear glass and door, and was a large standing shower. The restroom was separate from the shower room and each room's door are sliding doors. I only spent a night, but I could have easily stayed longer and comfortably. I truly recommend this hotel especially with the Buffalo Wild Wings right by it.

The hotel is fairly new. Just reached its 2 year mark on Oct. 3, 2016. So, no surprise the rooms are nice, clean and up to date. Very spacious closet and the tub and toilet are separate. I love that. Very different set up than your typical Springhill. However, no complimentary ANYTHING. Even for a member. I asked for a bottled water and was charged nearly $3. I also forgot my toothbrush and was charged $2 for that. Although Marriott is usually on top of hospitality, they should really step their game up when it comes to member benefits. Loved the hotel… their greed… not so much. Switching to another chain. But in an emergency, I'd definitely stay again.

Good location. Large modern rooms. Comfortable bed. In the beautiful ladies at the reception desk are drop-dead gorgeous.

It was great! The beds were very comfortable and they were a nice size. The bathroom or "bathrooms" were weirdly shaped then I got used to it and I liked it. The only complaint is that the hot tub did not work and that upsets me.

The free breakfast was great. Free Wi-Fi with a friendly staff. The only reason for not rating 5* is due to the noise levels that penetrate into the room from the hallway. Even the sounds from the next room can be heard through the walls. It's not horrible. I've experienced worse. Overall I'm very pleased with my stay here.

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff and comfortable prices!

First, the hotel itself was great. Clean rooms and I was a big fan of the tap-to-enter keycards. But I had some issues. First, when I called they quoted me a rate of $160 after tax but I was able to get a rate of $122 off of Marriott's site. What bothered me most was when I found out at 10:40 that checkout was at 11. I went to the desk and asked if they could do 12 for me instead. The employee sighed and seemed annoyed but eventually said, "Fine, but no later than that. " Was I asking for any later than that? No. It's small but I generally hope for better at Marriott hotels. Chelsea at check-in was fantastic though and very pleasant. Thanks, Chelsea!

The staff and the accommodations were impeccable every time I have had the pleasure of staying here. This is a very well ran and immaculately decorated hotel. Would highly recommend!
