From the start this place was a nightmare. I will say first that the staff were really nice! When we checked in I was given my 2 keys and sent to my room. We opened the door and went inside only to find someone sleeping in the bed! We then were checked into another room which the very apologetic lady checked first. The room smelled like smoke and we are non-smoker's. After the first roach we found, we started getting concerned. After the second night we were done! So many roaches. This place was so dirty Another very apologetic staff lady checked us out and off to another more expensive motel we went, because at that late date it was hard to find good deals! I would give the staff 5 stars but the hotel a negative 5 stars!

Had an extremely satisfying stay. Staff was super friendly and Ms. Sharlene went above and beyond to make me fell welcome. Clean rooms and very professional. Highly recommend and I will be back.

I checked in on yesterday… I'm hear today… will indeed extend my stay. The staff is friendly and respectful, the rooms are always comfortable every time I book here I'm always satisfied… The general manager Mrs. Sharlene is very caring and gets the job done and the Assistant Manager Ms. Shamia she is so wonderful and kind Keep up the good work ladies!

We walked in our room and soon noticed roaches all over the kitchen! They had a roach trap between the fridge and the counter that was full. We also found several other bugs in the room. We only spent an hour in the room at this point! The room was not clean with bits of trash everywhere even someone's left over soap in the shower! The staff did not do the things they said they would multiple times and just seemed to say whatever they had to get us to go away. When we were trying to work things out with the hotel about our options for other rooms late that night they would not pick up the front desk phone and no one was at the front desk. We just left the hotel after that. I just wanted to feel safe and comfortable after a long day and this was a horrible experience. We did end up getting a full refund and the manager was pretty helpful on a positive note.

People were great. I was there with my girlfriend celebrating our 10 yr anniversary. The rooms were clean and bug free. Will definitely stay there in the future.

After 2 failed attempts of staying in North Charelston (crappy hotels) we were fortunate enough to book a room here for the last few days of our trip. The staff is absolutely wonderful, our room is amazing… like a home away from home. I'm traveling with my 2 children and they both just love playing in the courtyard and the spacious suite. I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND booking and staying here if you are looking for a home away from home while in Charleston :)

This hotel has the most considerate and most helpful employees I have ever met. Brittany checked us in at the front desk and she was such a pleasure to meet! Great experience!

I stayed a few nights here and I must say that it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were always clean and the staff was always helpful and courteous. Also, the manager Sharlene was very helpful. She went out of her way to take care of me during my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel. I especially liked Giovanni because she greeted everyone as they came in even when she was helping other guest.

Terrible, checked us into a room that was already occupied. Waited about 30 minutes before getting another room. This place is unkempt and feels dirty. Also does not feel very safe or secure. If it was not spring break week, we would cancel and stay elsewhere. Then on day two of our stay, they try saying we have over extended our stay and Threaten to kick us out! We had to prove we paid for two nights, crazy! The manager is a very rude and unprofessional and did not apologize for the terrible customer service or their mistakes during our stay. Save yourself a big headache and stay anywhere else possible besides this place!

Great and friendly staff. Lobby and breakfast area very clean. My room was very clean comfortable bed enough space to move aroung. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

I was in Charleston for a three week job and chose to stay here for the proximity to local restaurants and shopping. The hotel is very pleasant to drive up to, as the landscaping and maintenance were very well tended. I was not surprised, then, upon walking through the front entryway to find the same level of cleanliness in the main foyer. Sheila checked me in and was very accommodating when I asked for various amenity-type items during my stay. I have never spent the kind of money for a hotel when traveling for work as I did this one, and I found that my weekly rate was on par with the size of the hotel room as well as the service provided by the personnel. I had a small issue with the electrical outlet in the bathroom not working and another with weekly housekeeping. However, upon bringing my complaint to Sharlene, the manager, I was relieved to have things handled promptly and with friendly service. Sharlene went out of her way to make my stay at this hotel a very pleasant experience. I appreciate when I receive the attention from management that I did from Sharlene. She was great at being personable and helpful. Not the mention she’s smoking hot too! I would definitely stay at this Extended Stay again if ever I come back to Charleston. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing experience.

Clean and huge rooms! Great location to everything. Amazing staff. Brittany was so helpful and friendly! Perfect in every way! I will be back.

Great place. The staff (especially Sharlene the manager) were very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate with a "booked up" situation. I would highly recommend this Extended Stay America if you plan to stay near the airport or shop the Tanger Outlets.

We are so happy with our visit to Extended Stay America Charleston airport. Ms. Sharlene Lloyd was amazing and helpful and Ms. Brittany was sweet and helpful as well. We can’t wait to begin our stay. Thank you so much ladies!

Housekeeping is not at it's best. Stayed multiple times over a three month period for work and had to move to another room on four different occasions due to roaches in the rooms. Could be a really good place to stay if housekeeping would stop being so half ass.

Hotel staff double-booked my room, which resulted in my stuff getting stolen. This happened a few weeks ago; I keep calling the staff to try to get reimbursed, but they seem to forget to call back. Also, my room was never cleaned, even before I got there. I bought some Clorox wipes and cleaned it myself.

I’m staying here now! What I’ve have learned from my employees staying here and how my Hispanics and Europeans have been treated by management is disgusting! Almost a word I do not want to use! I’ve had people without heat for three days and they have not taken care of nothing! After they said something the day of! So I got people sleeping in the artic cold freeze. They finally moved them today into a new room! Three days they let them stay in a cold room instead of moving them! Or contact me and let me know. I have 20 rooms here.! I got a lot more to say but I’ll play nice!

I strongly recommend never going to this place! It is a huge waste of money for so many reasons. Beds are horrible, rooms are dated and smell. I had to ask for more towels but was made to go upstairs and trade in the old ones. It was so expensive to stay there and not worth what was spent. There was no breakfast other than grab and go items which they did not keep stocked. If you didn't get down there early, oh well, you just weren't getting anything. I've stayed in much nicer places that were cheaper and offered a lot more. I was so disappointed and will never stay there again. The staff is ok, but management didn't offer much more than a half assed apology. I hate it wasted money at this place.

Last minute change of plans so I booked this room. Fair price especially so close to Tanger Outlets. Offered as 2 queens but beds were full size. Comfortable beds with plenty of pillows. Enjoyed the actual bathtub. There were no kitchen plates/utensils only a note to request from front desk. Bathroom had towels but no supplies (shampoo, hairdryer, etc. ) Overall clean with friendly staff easy check in and check out process.

Oh where to start… Stayed on the first floor in disability accessible room. It was a nice size with a double size bed and a pullout bed. First thing was that there were no linens for the pullout bed. I called the front desk and insisted I come to retrieve it instead of delivering it to my room. The room had a kitchenette but oddly had no dishes or even utensils. Also there was only one trash can in the entire room. Also the AC unit was kind of dirty. Next, there was no TV remote in the room. I called down to the desk and this time they brought it down to my room, but it wasn't programmed. Thankfully I Googled how to program that remote and I was able to figure it out. In the morning I noticed there were only two sets of towels in the room. Went to "breakfast", which was supposed to be served from 6:00am to 9:00am and there was zero food except for a few granola bars. As well as the the coffee was completely out. Not to mention the random girl who was passed out in the breakfast room. To top it all off, before we left I used the bathroom just off the lobby. The door didn't lock and it was extremely dirty. There was toilet paper on the floor, pee on the toilet seat and of course no soap. So to sum it all up. The staff is not helpful, the rooms are barren/missing essential items, the breakfast is nonexistent and overall not super clean. Given the number of other hotels in the immediate vicinity, I would not stay here ever again nor recommend it to anyone.

If you are ever prompted to select this hotel — RUN! This is NOT an exaggeration. I should have known better when we pulled up to the property and saw the HIRING sign that we would be in for trouble. Upon arriving at the property around 1:00 am, visibly tired from our trip, we were frustrated to find that our room did not appear to be ready. There were no sheets on the pull out bed (or in the closet), no remote controls for the tvs, the phone did not work, ROACHES and no trash can. I was taken aback when I went to the front desk and was told to take the trash can back up with me! Finally, when we were told that we would have to pick up towels every day after 1 pm, we check out!

Staff was very nice with lots of restaurants and shops in the area. However, this hotel is very noisy. I was awaken several from the running and stomping on the stairs and above me.

Pull out bed stained, rusted on bottom of mattress. Carpet stained and ac barely worked. No trash can in the room and end tables were stacked on top of each other because there was no room. Definitely not as advertised! Won't stay there again, glad it was for just one night!

There are two properties 5054 and 5059. We were at 5054. It's nice for an extended stay. The hot water boiler went out but was back you after about 24 hours. Everyone has been friendly.

Breakfast was pathetic. No ice or containers for ice. Lack of towels. Shower curtain was too short and flooded the bathroom. Very confusing staff with regards to a hotel host and phoning in for check in. At least they had the AC pumping and the bed was fairly comfortable.

I was just messing my friend who happened to be staying at the hotel.

My stay was very comfortable and the staff is great! Centrally located in the heart of Charleston, close to shopping and great restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Lady working front desk grave yard has attitude issues or problems from home and brings negativity to work with her and ruined my stay there would not recommend to any one who is seeking to have a great places to stay shower and rooms are old dont be fooled by the outside of the hotel.

Hotel was under renovation so my stay was OK.
