NICE PLACE for the location. The staff is amazing. Angel, going way above and beyond, Ashley, Jeff, Alexander, Elizabeth, Angie, Bailee best drink maker, Pam cooking my Bacon a little extra for me. ALL did something special to make us want to drive a little extra to stay here. Great people make this place and the general manager knows how to lead them by example.

Nice Room Except No Microwave, Bed was Comfortable Room was Clean. All in All I Would Book Another Stay.

This was our family headquarters for my mother's funeral and we could not have found a better place. Great rooms, spotlessly maintained, expert support for our events, great value. Most important, a very friendly and professional staff. From the first contact to the last, my expectations were exceeded by this staff.

The hotel is extremely clean. Thanks to the staff for being professional and very friendly. This is a wonderful location. Convenient to resterauants and shopping. We will stay here again in two weeks on our next visit. HIGHLY recommend.

It was our 33rd anniversary and we decided to stay at the Hyatt in North Charleston. It was great! Kya helped get us checked in and she was awesome! Her service was served with a smile and age was very helpful. She had upgraded our room and the staff had put a basket with some snacks and a bottle of wine in our room. Everyone was very nice and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our anniversary so great!

The Customer service at this particular Hyatt exceeded our expectations greatly. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff assisted us and made us feel like they were happy that we chose the Hyatt. The rooms were very clean and very well taken care of. Any time we are in this area, the Hyatt will be our number 1 place to stay! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone reading this review.

Very friendly staff! Loved the atmosphere and super kid friendly. Great breakfast, always a variety. Pool was clean, along with fresh towels. Beds were super comfy. Location is great. Will book again when we come back to SC.

The beds were the best they were so comfortable! They had got and tasty food For FREE! The service was great. The location of the hotel was by all kinds of different hotels. Which was done with me… And they also had a pool but it only went up to 4 and a half feet but that was also fine with me because I was only staying for one night and I was leaving. O loved this hotel!

We are having a wonderful time here. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The room is a suite, and you have so much room. Like being in a small apartment.

Whenever I travel for work, I stay at Hyatt Place North Charleston. Great staff, clean and spacious rooms and more importantly, it's QUIET, even at full capacity. Convenient to the interstate and some great food options around the area too. Pet-friendly hotel that also has a pool and 24 hour fitness center. Breakfast is served daily and there's a menu for the late night hunger pains. All this without breaking your wallet!

I only stayed for one evening. Everything in and out of the room was clean, and functioning well. Continental breakfast was just what you would expect. Simple, but all I need in the morning. The location is near a shopping area, and the airport.

Decent Hyatt — I recommend getting a car, not a lot to walk to, unless you enjoy longer walks (not) on the beach.

Isn't as good as it used to be. The TV inputs in some of the rooms don't work, and they started serving breakfast later. They also have irritating music playing to loud in the lobby. And the front desk workers aren't the brightest people.

Clean and decent service. Asked for late checkout and was told it was fine. Then a week later was charged for it after being told there was no charge since no one else was going to be in the room.

The first room smelled like smoke but they took care of us in making sure we got another room with out issue. The breakfast was very good as well. Would stay here again very nice hotel.

This location tries really hard to offer luxury-lite accommodations with a modern flair. The traditional check in desk is replaced by a cocktail bar (attended by several jovial gents a few drinks into their night) and one employee to serve cocktails, staff the 'snack bar gallery', and check in arrivals. We had to wait several minutes to check in despite no one else in line. Our room was generous in size, clean, modern, and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable, however, the pillows were very unlofty and flat. Breakfast was remarkable. Many options all well prepared and displayed. We were warmly welcomed by Pam, the attendant, and thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast. On a side note, we ate dinner at the nearby Cracker Barrel after our arrival… and wish we hadn't. The food was ill-prepared and untasty. Our server seemed to give off signs both being attentive and completely disinterested at the same time. The cashier inquired as to our satisfaction, but complained we were being picky when we answered her honestly. Pick someplace else for dinner! As for the Hyatt, we would return if given the opportunity, but wish the front desk situation was a bit more tradition.

I'm usually a Hyatt Place fan but this location staff was not as attentive as the location in the historic district. Upon arrival, I called to see if we could pay cash and was told yes, once we arrived we were told no! I had to find a bank and load card. 2nd once we came back to check in their wasn't any luggage carts available, my husband And I asked and one employees looked around corner and said she didn't see any right now. My husband and I were struggling with bags and no one offered yo help they just stood and watched! After about 8 minutes an older lady brought a cart down but not before I dropped my wine all over the lobby floor (because of my full hands) 3rd the room was claustrophobic 4th the heat was Cold. This is where I spent my 2017 Xmas… disappointed!

The hotel was clean and warm. Our bed was kind of uncomfortable, but the room was large. One weird downside was that it didn't have a microwave in the room, but still had a mini fridge. The fridge feels pointless if we can't reheat food we put in it. There also was no menu for the restaurant in the room, we had to look it up. But overall the experience was pretty okay. We booked on Expedia so we didn't pay very much for the room. I'd probably stay there again.

Easily a like/hate relationship. I booked the hotel for a family member over the phone and paid using my CC with my information. I arrived to the location first so I wanted to check them in and check the room out. The person at the first desk gave me a hard time and started I couldn't check in because the room wasn't in my name, EVEN THOUGH the payment information was! Liability clearly is placed in the person who pays and not the name on the reservation but that didn't matter. Even more confusing, the person allowed me to CANCEL the other reservation (not in my name) and create a new one. The hotel itself was nice but the walls are paper thin. While waiting in the room for my family I heard everything outside the room including the obnoxiously loud elevator sounds. Breakfast was included but did not include ANY meat. (No sausage or bacon of any kind) The location is right off the highway located near food, the mall, and other hotels.

It is a nice hotel just not tg e cleanest place. You would think if you're paying over 100 a night there would not b e large stains on the couch or on the carpet.

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the indoor pool was just what we needed to unwind.

Hotel itself is okay. Laundry, workout space, and pool seemed clean. Some exits are just for that, to exit. Key cards don't work on a few to get back in. Front doors are locked at 11pm each night, accessed only by keycard. Unsure if this is from lack of security or just a Hyatt Place policy. Located conveniently off of I-26 and lots of shopping and eateries. Front desk staff personnel are decent, even if maybe not very competent or knowledgeable. They seemed bored and bothered. And didn't offer up an apology for what I'll share next. I got the feeling that it was not a huge deal and that it should be expected. Hopefully, this is an isolated incident, but it seems our bedding wasn't changed in preparation for our arrival! Stains… stains… stains. Mortified to share we were too tired checking in late our first night to check (and assumed all should be clean anyway) that we slept in that! Naturally, this made me question everything… towels, couch, beds themselves. On a positive note, the room itself is very spacious (based on double queen) and seemed clean. Breakfast is the usual basic fare provided at most hotels that offer free breakfast. Not terrible. Not extraordinary. Three stars because it's not the worst place to pay to stay in. But also nice enough that service (especially housekeeping) desperately needs to match the cosmetics.

The room was clean and spacious, the employees were very friendly, and the service was more than satisfactory. It is true that I will stay in this location again.

Our room was excellent. Everything was nice, clean and smelled fresh with only a hint of scent, which was great for my allergies. I have no complaints!

I must say my stay at the Hyatt Place was amazing. The staff was superb and the rooms were emasculate. The breakfast was delicious. I recommend that anyone traveling to the Charleston area enjoy your visit by staying here.

This is a nice, clean and modern hotel that's well worth the money. It's close enough to be able to walk to the local mall in 15-20 minutes and there's nearby restaurants. We had a small issue with the toilet that was quickly fixed by the friendly staff at the front desk.

Had a great stay here. Not a single complaint. The staff was great. Breakfast was really great. I'll have no hesitation about going here again next time.

Very nice, comfortable hotel rooms. One of nicer hotels I have stayed at in my travels and I travel a considerable amount. Nice, warm breakfast and apparently has a kind of restaurant attached to it.

So far the visit is going great. Very nice hotel. Professional type staff. Breakfast was good. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

This place is amazing. The beds are incredibly comfortable, big rooms with a sectional couch, and refrigerator in room. When my mom's friends came to the hotel to see us (since they live in SC), the front desk staff gave us all water and even gave my mom's friend a free coffee. The breakfast is one of the best I've had, everything is stocked well from the time the breakfast starts to the time it ends and they do really great keeping up with the dishes.

Great place to stay. Our room is large the beds are very comfortable the towels are large microwave and ref in room.
The free breakfast is exceptional. The best breakfast we have ever encountered in our travels.
Now to one of the most important part of this hotel. The service. From the minute you walk in you are greeted warmly, the staff friendly and knowledgeable.
As you migh guess I am overwhelmed with this hotel. You should consider this hotel when you are in the Charleston area.

Nice friendly place, 2 families stayed here for 2 days with kids and enjoyed it fully but they need to pay attention to cleaning bathrooms and specially swimming pool, there was lots of hair in the pool and bathroom. We loved the breakfast and quiet rooms and nice comfortable beds. We book another vacations in different location with same Hyatt brand hotel and hoping to see better cleaning job so we can continue use Hyatt for future! ""The pool in very bad condition! Lots of hair and debris in water! Same garbage was on the floor for 3 days! """

The place and the staff are wonderful. Our room was roomy and comfy. And the free breakfast. Wow. They are also pet friendly. This is the perfect home away from home. Anytime the Hyatt brand is an option for us… we will take it. I really can't say enough about this great place. Just come see for yourself.

Clean, spacious rooms with extremely reliable Internet. Free breakfast is also included. One thing I'd say is that the baby high chair straps need to be cleaned. Also, microwaves in the rooms would be awesome but hey it's already a great price so maybe that would make it more expensive. Otherwise, I'm a repeat customer because of the rooms and Internet.

Great room, quiet and very VERY clean! The best guest services I've seen in a long time. 2 of the girls, Neet & Alajia were the most friendly employees! They treat everyone like VIP at all times. They deserve a raise. Great time while in the area!

Great hotel with fantastic services. The rooms are consistently clean and rather large. The fitness center equipment is aging but is very clean.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice. The in room TV was large and was situated so it was visible from both the living area and the bed. The bed was comfortable and everything seamed to be of high quality. I would stay here again.

Very, very friendly and helpful front staff. The room was nice, could use some attention in places. The breakfast was decent — oatmeal and grits could use some work. But the croissant half was excellent and loved the fresh fruit options! Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was conveniently located right off of I-26, just north of Charleston. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was well kept and the room was clean. The continental breakfast was good and the parking and Wi-Fi were free as well. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed at 5 hotels on our road trip from NY to Florida and back. This one, the Hyatt Place in North Charlston was the best. The room was roomy, comfortable, clean and very attractive. The complimentary breakfast was very good. With a large selection of items to eat and all done well. The staff was friendly and helpfull. I would recommend it and stay there again.

The shower head is amazing. Room is very large. Comfortable king size bed and wrap around couch. Excellent service, very clean, and no problems with getting everything I needed. Hyatt always provides an unmatched level of excellence!

Great customer service, nice room and interior. Free continental breakfast, indoor saltwater pool, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was very nice and the pool area is nice as well. The pool goes up to 4 1/2 feet. Located about 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Loved the shower. Breakfast was thankfully different than the usual hotel fare. Relatively easy to get too and close to the airport.

We loved the hotel! However, during our stay we never received any services from house keeping. After multiple trips to pick up towels and even toilet paper. The gallery host said there was no record of us making complaints about the house keeping problem. If it was not for the issue of house keeping and the attitude at our check out. I would have reported back 5 stars complemented them on the shower head and the large breakfast buffet. But I would have mentioned the pool is about the size of a large hottub. Other than that it is a great place to stay! Exepia had a rate around 83.00 they will match any online price as long as it has the current date.

I am military and they really helped my guys and me out with a great rate. They are very military friendly. The hotel was quiet and dark for guys like me that need to sleep in later in the morning. Everything about this hotel was amazing. I made a huge mess when I dropped a glass of wine in the bathroom. The hotel staff came and helped us out within minutes. The breakfast was delicious. They even have Starbucks! I won't stay anywhere else in Charleston SC. Most notably, the management was unbelievable for this level of hotel. I received the kind of special attention that I usually get in 5-star hotels.

This is a lovely hotel with the most friendly housekeeping staff I have ever encountered. They spoke english (a rarity these days) and greeted us everyday when we passed them in the hall. They even had patience to listen to my special needs child talk. Supposed to have a salt water pool, but half way through our vacation it smelled suspiciously of chlorine. Found a moldy bagel in the bread bin at breakfast. Other than those 2 issues, really enjoyed our stay.
