Great location. Close by dining and shopping. Rooms clean. Quiet. Parking in a private lot. Reasonable price. Its not a big fancy hotel but it has everything I need to be comfortable and I have stayed here on several occasions and will do so again.

Absolutely terrible motel. The blanket smelled like it had never been washed and when I told the man at the front desk he gave us horrible attitude immediately. He was extremely rude since day one. We asked for our money back for the 2 days we decided we didn't want to stay for because it was disgusting and instead of explaining the no refund policy he treated us like infants. I can not believe this man works with public. My boyfriend went to the store and as he came back to our room he ran after him yelling at him as if he was breaking in. Never apologized for being wrong. I would not recommend this place, especially if you have children. The smell of the room was sickening and musky. And to be honest smelled like sex. We couldn't believe they would allow it to get so bad then have us stay there.

Just a motel owned by a family that lives in site musty rooms, dirty air conditioners, Rags you'll be crazy to use, a bed you pull back the Blanket, because you know it only gets changed, if it looks dirty, (smh, ) flat floors, the motel is in a simi circle, so the owner can see there's one way in one & way out, (A Place where cheaters go), or homeless,

Nice rooms clean don't smell … unfriendly owner … VERY COLD ROOMS. Do not stay in the winter months they shut off power to the electric wall heaters and only have hot water base board heaters … room will not get above 60 degrees… Wi-Fi is terrible… if you just need to stay for 1 night It wouldn't be bad but do not plan an extended stay here.

Very friendly and personable facility. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. All at a very acceptable rate. Enjoyed my experience immensly and will definatly be a repeat customer.

This motel has been around for as long as I could remember. I gave it 4 stars bc they have updated the lodgings appropriately in relation to the (relatively low) price per room. For approx 65-80$/night-80$ is w tax & surcharges included, it's not the Fairmont and shouldn't be expected to be such. In my experience, the room/baths are decent sized & clean. Once, I had a quirky but fully functional AC unit. The front desk employees have always been courteous and professional. This motel is adjacent to the monkey bar and is ideal for those opting not to drink and drive (the local police force is safety focused and vigilant). The location is great-it's located on a major route into Pgh, with a bus stop right out front & plenty of shopping/eateries/local attractions. Good value, esp for the price.

Centrally located near busy route. Clean.

Great place to stay, in So Hills. We stay there on a regular basis when we visit our son in West Mifflin.

Great friendly owner. Most of all he takes alot of pride in the up keep. Real clean everything well-maintained I give it 5 stars.

I rented 2 rooms one for me and the girlfriend and the other for the girlfriends son with the promise that we could use the double length parking spot both nights we get our rooms and the TV in my room wasnt working so the owner came in and ten minutes later had it working but the picture was screwed up on the lower right corner like the TV was dropped. Then the next night the double spots were taken by someone else and the owner wanted us to park on the back side of the building where the trailer on my buddies truck could be stolen so needless to say abd hour and a half after we get there we are finally parked in the parking lot where we can keep an eye on the truck and trailer. Nice people, quite location but if you have a truck with trailer its not easy parking. Price was good also.

Bed bugs, and the foreigners that own it told me to show them the bug when I went to their office. Lol like it is just going to chill in the same spot as my pictures. I asked for a refund shorty after arrival but was unwilling to.

The room was clean. Quiet area. Next to shopping center and restaurants in walking distance.

Stayed here twice in the past 2 months. Simple room with mini fridge and microwave. Not fancy but good for the price.

Baseboard heat. Gotta turn it up close to 80 to be warm. Rooms arent very clean beds arent very comfortable chairs are burnt from cigarettes owner/ hotel manager is very rude and gets mad if you ask him a question.

It's a budget motel. Adequate for the price and short term stay needs. I felt the Non-Smoking room provided had obviously been smoked in but they can't be in every room 24-7, it's the idiots that smoke in the room regardless of it's intended status! The King bed was fine, the room is spacious with a mini fridge and microwave, which is more than other budget rooms in the range of $60. Stayed 3/23/16.

Oh, let me TELL you about my wonderful experience with these scumbags. A somewhat handicapped guy I take care of from my church found himself locked out of his house, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't put him up at my house. He lived near the South Hills Motel, so I figured that I'd put him up for the night there. To check him in, we rang the doorbell at the office. The clerk came to the window, and I said, "My friend is locked out of his house for the night. Can I pay for a room for him? " Looking funny at my friend, he lied, saying "Uh, no, we don't have any. " I then went outside, seeing all the vacant rooms, and rang the bell saying, "Sir, there are plenty of rooms. " "Sir, I have four people coming in later! " he lied. I later put my friend up at the Hampton Inn up the road. After I got home, I called, disguising my voice, saying, "Uh, do you have any rooms for the night? " He said, "Yeah, we do. " Talking in my normal voice, I said, "Oh REALLY? Then why did you lie to me an hour ago when you said you had no rooms for the night? " "Quit trying to call me! " he inarticulately yelled and hung up. We weren't looking for charity; we were looking to do business. I was willing to pay for a room so my friend could have a roof over his head for the night and not have to sleep at the bus station, and this clerk, perhaps since my friend was handicapped, lied, and didn't want to do business. There's a VERY special place in hell for people like that.

Not too bad of a place for price, but the staff are miserably mean.

Beds pretty hard, but springy. Wifi doesn't work. Bathroom is nice, they advertise flatscreens but they are kinda small. The room is very clean.

The owner is a dick. Extremely rude. I was trying to make a reservation. Never even made it any further.

Newly remodeled rooms, fast Wi-Fi, the owner is very nice and cordial, I just moved here for a new position and he took me back and forth to work. My room was very clean and maintained. Excellent location walking distance to anything you need from food to shopping to a very nice gym/spa.

I stayed here in the early spring last year. I chose this place because it was reasonably priced, in a good location, and on its website the rooms looked somewhat decent. The room itself was OK — only problems I had were I kept finding these big round, flat bugs all over the room and dead bugs of some kind in the bathroom light fixture and stuck in the exhaust fan. Also, it got down to 30+ degrees at night and my heat did not work properly. The price was good — about $55/night. Next time I go to Pittsburgh, I'll probably stay in a better hotel.

Room was ok and they have renovated nearly all the rooms. I have stayed there several times over the last four years, a little after it was bought and work started. They replaced the bathrooms and doors, some ac units and overall its nice and quiet. My problem now is price. They raised their prices to $62.50 for a single bed, up from $45.50. Also can't seem to count to 10. Twice now they came back and said I owed for another day. Overall it's ok but now it's pricey, maybe too much.

One star is way to generous here. No phone, no clock, heater/AC on wall did not work at all. Mind you, this is in the middle of February with snow on the ground. Roaches (4) found first night in bathroom. Hair allover side of bathroom sink, dirty tub, do not even want to mention the bed. Front desk was no help at all, individual told me "leave if you no like. " Less than quality service and do not plan on staying here ever again.
