Great room accommodations and friendly staff.

I cannot praise the management and staff of the Statler enough. Their care and attention is beyond exceptional! My mother had a medical emergency shortly after checking in and the staff coordinated fabulously to help ems and anticipate our needs. They have earned my utmost praise and loyalty.

The Hotel pretty much run by a lots of Cornell student in Hotel management major and they work really hard to get the job done. Very nice Hotel but reservation could take up to few months in advance if you want to come on busy week.

Amazing restaurant with incredible service and gorgeous views of the campus. The food is some of the best I've had. The staff bends over backwards to ensure you are treated exactly how you want. It's a wonderful place for dinner.

Built already on campus of Cornell University, a walk around the hotel will showcase the natural and architectural beauty of the surrounding buildings. Nearing afternoon, one may be able to hear the Cornell Marching Band playing in the distance. A short walk away is the football field where the football team can be seen practicing. The hotel offers a plethora of services including: valet parking, a fitness room, and a few places to get food. The hotel is run and worked by students of the university. The students running the hotel are working towards their degree in hotel administration. So, staying here would be a way to see the beautiful campus and support the students.

Very hard working staff, top notch service. I just wished the hotel was a bit more reasonable in price. The food at banfi especially the brunch is best in Ithaca.

It is obvious that they're going for elegant. The price tag says upscale but the rooms are nice at best. I expected more "extras" for a price that high. The shower was clogged and the view was a gravel rooftop.

The lobby is clean and well-maintained, with complimentary drinks. Many of Cornell's alumni decorate the back wall, detailing the history of the hotel college. It's a nice place!

I went to The Statler Hotel, just to play Pokemon Go. I caught 'em all. It is a very beautiful hotel. Can't wait to go back! Go Team Instinct!

Absolutely beautiful grounds, the valet staff were so kind and helpful and I was just absolutely Blown Away by the inside of the hotel. The staff were all so helpful and courteous and SOOOOO very accommodating. Stupendous stupendous stupendous staff. As you've read, I literally can't say enough nice things about how wonderful they were. My boyfriend and mother and even myself, had them running around left and right. I feel like I can hear them typeing away in some off shoot website where hotel staff write about problem customers, cause we would DEFINITELY be on that list with how troublesome we must have been. But they took it all in stride and were just absolutely incredible! I will be definitely recommending the hotel to friends and family coming to the Ithaca area.

The restaurant did not get our drink order right for the dinner. Next morning, In the sausage I had, there was a large piece of unknown kind hard bone which almost cracked my teeth. The chef blamed the local farm about it. Sigh. As a so-called “education ground”, how couldn’t the hotel have a better quality control?

It was okay, the food was okay. There is not much variety of food choices the day I went. But some times they have lots of good choices. This was my third time at the restaurant there, the first was really great and yummy, but it was down hill from there. The location of it in the building is great. The building itself is in a weird place. The service was fine the staff is mainly all college students. At first glance they all seem preoccupied amongst each other. But then they step in to help out and get you situated. Overall, it is all okay, not great but okay.

The hotel was very nice inside and service at the front desk was friendly/informative. I was recommended to check out the hotel for food options during a visit to the university. There were multiple options but I ended up checking out the Terrace in the downstairs area for a quick meal. Food was okay, quick service, plenty of places to eat.

Went to the Regents bar. They were swamped, very busy. Seemed to have only one server, young thin male I forget his name. He was energetic and motivated, more than made up for being the sole server. Food was good, drinks expertly crafted by the only bartender. Crowd was a bit typewriter rowdy but not nasty. Would definitely go back.

This is an outstanding hotel with an incredible restaurant (Taberna Banfi) providing best in class services and food. Definitely a must see during your visit to Ithaca. I would like to point out the superb brunch served on Sundays! Make sure you try it!

Well kept, luxurious interior. Service was extremely quick, and the food was out before we had even finished the bread. Food was delicious but a touch expensive.

Attended a social as a part of Cornell's recruitment weekend. I had a great time. The place was very nice and run very well. Even though the service was run by undergraduate students, it was very organized and smooth. The bathrooms were nice and clean. Would recommend.

Overall a good experience. Front desk and other hotel staff have been great. The room has good amenities, such as automatic shades, quality bathroom fixtures, and comfortable bed. However, the floor in this room has a very noticeable slope, which is disconcerting to walk on, particularly in the dark. It's one detractors an otherwise good hotel experience.

Visited for my daughter's graduation. The breakfast was outstanding and the facilities were top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of the way to make our visit first class.

I went to banfi for breakfast with my girlfriend. I'd highly recommend getting the breakfast buffet. Staff had great manners and the food was amazing!

Hicimos un evento en el ballroom la semana pasada. Todo pasó sin problemas, excepto que no había suficiente comida. Antes del evento, habíamos planeado comida y bebidas (con bar abierto, pero el costo fue estimado con la suposición de que cada persona bebiera dos de las bebidas más caras) para cien personas. Habían más personas que pensábamos que iban a venir (más o menos 150 en total), y así, pedimos más comida, pero todavía desapareció rápidamente. Al fin, el evento nos costó casi doble lo estimado, y todos todavía salieron con hambre. El evento fue bien organizado, la decoración impecable, y los empleos muy profesionales, pero fue tan caro, y al fin no valía el costo, que probablemente no llegaremos el año que viene para este evento.

I have enjoyed my stay at The Statler. The staff are pleasant and welcoming. The rooms are cozy and comfortable yet full of Cornell class. I hope to continue to enjoy the remainder of my time here.

The Statler was a wonderful place for our annual department holiday party. The venue is great for a group of 100+, and the catering is both (1) diverse and (2) very good.

The Statler Hotel is a beautiful hotel on campus with comfortable rooms. One of my favorite features about the hotel is that it is run by the school of hotel administration, giving students hands on experience in their field. Great service and a great stay. The view of campus from the 9th floor is quite stunning.

The Statler Hotel on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca New York is a fabulous place in an ideal settling subsidized by Cornell University. We enjoyed our stay immensely absolutely loving returning to Ithaca, where the gorges capture our imagination infused with the spirit of alumni throughout the years. The Statler boasts beautiful large rooms with outstanding service from Cornell's award winning hotel school. The Statler's food is absolutely excellent deliciously prepared and served by Cornell students. Tour the beautiful campus and watch a Cornell football game from this centrally located campus hotel. One visit to the Statler will have you returning time and time again.

The banfi restaurant food was amazing, and the wait staff was very friendly and on point. I would recommend this to everyone.

The Statler has great amenities! A must stay for alums returning. The food at Statler is good. Food for students can be found at Macs cafe or the Terrace, both within the Statler complex.

Absolutely impeccably clean with great service and food. The staff is very friendly and Taverna Banfi makes the stay even better with great meals.

Went to the restaurant for a professional lunch event. The buffet was absolutely delicious, and the service was very professional. Desserts and coffee afterwards were to die for. Not sure about the price range, but it seems pretty high-end. If you can afford it (or go to an event there), I highly recommend it.

We very much liked our visit and the business model assures a steady stream of terrific staff. The hotel is old but re-modeled and nice. Early morning coffee on the 2nd floor and the lounge off the lobby is great. Lunch was very nice. What can I tell you, when we return to Ithaca we will return to the Statler.

The location is great because it's Central to campus. There are two restaurants, the taverna banfi and the regent. The regent is more casual and taverna has a great lunch buffet.

Nice lobby and the people there didn't kick us out as we sat there to figure out what we were doing next. They ended up allowing us to use their scanner machine.

Came here for a rehearsal dinner. The prixe fixe menu consisted of the standard beef, chicken or fish options. I had the beef which was tough. The salad and sides were pretty simple and not entirely interesting. The hotel itself looked very nice. A stay here with a trip to the restaurant may yield better results.

I've only been to Taverna Banfi for the Sunday brunch buffet but the selection of food available is impressive. They serve everything from parfaits and scrambled eggs to pasta dishes and cuts off roast beef. The quality of the food is top notch and the staff are very professional. All in all I've had great experiences.

Convenient on campus location served by students! Unique experience and nicely appointed. Drinks were decently priced and delicious at the Regent Bar.

I love the Statler at Cornell University. It is an awesome experience to be right on campus. It's very convenient. The staff is excellent. Mostly students in the Hotel School. The food at Banfi's is incredible.

I only spent one night, but the service is unbelievable. This hotel is run exclusively by students. These students should be teaching skills to most other hotels. They are all polite, attentive and helpful with every guest with every question. Hope to have more business in Ithaca so that I can stay there again.

The Statler Hotel was an amazing place. It was cozy and a beautiful setup. The restaurant in the hotel had the best pancakes I've had in a long time. The service was quick and very helpful. I loved it there and it is worth it to go back.

The bar is nice. It's comfortable and has pretty good drinks. It's on the pricey side, and sometimes the service is a bit weird because I think often the servers are students of the hotel school.

We had a meal at Taverna Banfi and we really enjoyed the meal. The service was excellent, our waitress was really helpful and the speed of the service was also really good. The pasta we had were well executed with just the right amount of cheese on top and well seasoned.

I was not a guest at the hotel, just a visitor for a professional development seminar. The facility was very nice: spacious and regal. The breakfast and lunch provided was very tasty and we'll prepared and served by the staff.

Excellent service and good food. Would recommend it for a nicer meal if you're visiting campus. The lunch buffet is particularly good (check out the desserts).

My wife and I had four other kids in Manhattan for four days and it was a great place to stay. I chose it because of the location of the hotel and was amazed by my own choice. The hotel is a long way from where we want to go. I choose Marriott because of the size of the room (two queen bed and sofa bed). This room allows us to live comfortably with four of children. The sofa bed is the typical bed in your home (thin mattress) But the children are not uncomfortable.
