Independantly owned with franchise agreement with Wyndham DOES NOT MEAN ITS LIKE WYNDHAM. This looks like a Motel that you get for a 4 hours to get laid with your mistress. The building needs serious remodeling. The beds are uncomfortable. The neighborhood is the worst. Crackheads, drug dealers & hookers in the area. The room… it was dirty. There was a half eaten slice of pizza in the fridge. The room stunk. Widows dirty. They need new bed covers and sheets. They use extension cords you get at the 99cent store (fire hazard). They move us to another room, no smell but more of the same add damaged rugs. I wouldn't walk on them barefoot. I'm not used to this. I pay top dollar for rooms, but this was a last minute decision and everything was taken. It needs to be shut down. It's not worth the $500 two night stay I paid for. I won't be returning here. The staff is nice courteous. They do try, but Super 8 needs a kill and rebuild.

The motel was clean, bedbug free, and was very close to the boardwalk! The kids had a great time in the pool. And it was reasonable.

Beautiful Motel close to the ocean. Free parking spots available and Wi-Fi works perfectly for free as well. Coffeemaker is in the room, perfect place to stay. And all attractions are around the corner.

Is a great place to spend one night or two down the shore. Reasonable prices.

Horrible! Is not what the pictures show. Horrible! Horrible smell and I feel unsafe.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience at the Super 8 Atlantic City. The photos online we're very deceptive. The room was not well maintained, and the bed was barely comfortable. The bathroom was acceptable we could use improvements. There was also a slight pungent odor in the room that became a little unbearable at moments. There were barely any Outlets available for charging or using personal devices, and the Wi-Fi only worked 30% of the time we stayed. The entrance to our room was located in a very dark unlit corner, with no overhead lighting available. I would recommend updating to memory foam mattresses, and shading for the windows that allows sunlight into the room while still preserving privacy. There was a decent TV in the room, but a smart TV would be recommended. The only bright side to the hotel was its proximity to the boardwalk and nearby casinos. I would also recommend they offered more detailed information on the free breakfast. There were no hot options for breakfast, only cereal and mini breakfast pastries.

It is very clean and quiet to spend a few nights in Atlantic City.

I have stayed at Super 8 in AC several times (most recently last week) and like most hotels, it has its pros and cons. My actual final rating is more like a 3.5 PROS: I was able to check in early on a weekday at 1:30pm without a problem. Their weekday rates are normally between $50-$65/night, they do have a pool during the summer months, the rooms are fairly clean for a very old building, never seen any bed bugs, clean sheets. During my latest stay, I noticed the heater in my room sounded like it was on its last leg and about to just break, but their maint. Guy installed a new one for me right away. The manager, Kevin, was even grateful I brought it to his attention. The location of this hotel is also prime because it is very close to the bar with the best chicken wings in NJ (Picallili), and have a pretty nice comp breakfast every morning including waffles, toast, cereal, apple and orange juice, and coffee. CONS: It is the only non casino hotel in AC that charges a $50 pending deposit on your CC for incidentals, but did refund my card a day after checking out. I have seen a roach or two in the past, but not on my most recent visit. It is an old building and not surprising. The TVs in some rooms are the really old box tube televisions and picture quality is poor, carpets have a lot of stains, and the neighborhood is very shady. You will surely run into many crackheads, thugs, dealers if you walk in the direction away from the boardwalk.

When am go to AC I'm not really picky about my room. To me it is just a place to sleep after a fun night. The Super 8 served exactly that purpose for me this past weekend. The bed as OK the room was very dated but that's to be expected at this price point but I will say the location was great. It's a prime spot being just off the boardwalk and about a 3 minute walk to the ocean.

This place is horrible. The strip this super 8 is located on is very dangerous at night. The rooms are disgusting and outdated, the sheets were stained. It was literally the worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY! & they did not have hot breakfast. They had coffee, oranges and cheap yogurt.

This place was in a scary place. The outside looked like it hadn't been painted in 20yrs. We were nervous to walk a block away. There were a lot of junkies and beggars on the same block. The room was okay at best. The blow-dryer didn't work. The phone cord had to be held into the hand set or it would fall out. The bathroom was missing tile. The pool cover was 1/2 off and the pool was empty and filthy. I will not be staying there again.

Tv dont work and Doors Dont lock! 2 hrs of my time wasted tying to find a room with TV that works and Door that locks properly! NEVER EVER AGAIN! 2HR DRIVE FOR THIS CRAPPY HOTEL! NO GOOD DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! NOT WORTH IT!

Stayed 2 nights, found needles under bed and a crack pipe. Building next door and behind was drug house. Crack heads panhandling money. Afraid to leave room. Stay away if you have any sence! Sleep in your car you Will feel safet. Unbeliveable!

My actual final rating is more like a 3.5 PROS: The guy who works the day shift on weekdays is very nice, early check ins (after 1pm) are allowed as long as a room is available, weekday rates are normally between $50-$65/night, they do have a pool during the summer months, the rooms are fairly clean for a very old building, never seen any bed bugs, clean sheets, and the heater/AC in the rooms I have been in are in great condition, very close to the bar with the best chicken wings in NJ, and have a pretty nice comp breakfast every morning. CONS: Their computer system charged me extra on two separate visits after checking in and I had to go back to the front desk to get it corrected. So check your CC online after checking in! Yes, I have seen a roach or two in the past, but it is an old building and not surprising. However, it is fairly safe between the hotel and the boardwalk (short walk).

Please do not let the pictures fool you, this place was nasty and dirty, we book it for only 1 night to attend a show, but could not stay. We had to leave our things in the bathroom after spraying it down with Lysol. The elevator does not work, the lobby look like a Crack House and beware of the house next door. PLEASE DO NOT LET THE PICTURES FOOL, this place should be close down. It does not get a star.

Room smelled like cigarettes but otherwise room was very clean and neat. Clean towels, rags, and sheets. Was very pleased with some of the staff but it was a good stay very cheap, close to the broadwalk, and housekeeping very good. I will stay again.

We were here for a meeting with some suppliers. The place seems to be well-6ept and tidy. Desk attendant showed us to our conference area quickly and politely. It was clean and the coffee was a nice gesture!

Rooms are dirty. Beds are hard. No room looks the same… old as hell mini frig that doesnt keep food cold … even after paying 300 for a room up front they still $60 from you to hold. But the staff is nice.

Bathroom sink was hanging burnt iron stain on floor the fridge was frozen and there were extention cords for all the plugs but they were very polite and courteous the price we got was great.

The pictures on the internet looked nothing like the advertising and there was a $60 security deposit that was not mentioned until we got to the hotel. $113 was taken off my debit card before we arrived and still had to pay the deposit and remaining balance of the $203 that was for a two night stay.

This hotel is great, clean and friendly staff. The king room is so comfortable that I had to force myself out of bed a few times. Great size pool thats never crowded. Only about a 2 mintue walk to the boardwalk. Urban area surroundings.

We stayed here overnight. It was ok. It wasn't terrible but not terrific either. It was a 5 min walk to beach/boardwalk. The price was right. The room was clean. The pool was decent. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice. However, the room itself and motel was shabby and needed some work. We were on the 3rd level and had 2 windows in our room that opened with no screens in them and only 1 locked. Which could be dangerous. We stayed in the suite that slept 6 because had our kids with us. It was roomy enough. We would stay again.

Super 8 is the type of place where you get what you pay for. Rooms are mediocre at best and food is decent, but you aren't paying a premium for them. Honestly, if you are okay with a slightly shady area, it's a pretty good deal. The free parking is excellent though.

The room was pretty gross. The bed was fine, but it had hanging fly traps in the hallways, a smell in the rooms and hallways, carpet you didn't want to stand on with bare feet, etc. Service was fine, the staff was nice. This place is one of many places in Atlantic City that hasn't been renovated ever since it was built, spending the very minimum needed on upkeep to maximize profit.

Little to say about Atlantic City, disappointing.

Great location. Great customer service. Nice room for a wonderful rate. Breakfast OK. Only negative was that pool was not fillerd during our stay.

Went there for an ova night stay am wen we walked in the staff was rude the room had a funny smell the bed made us itchy in look like it was in the hood a lot of abandon buildings the onlii good part was it was close to the boardwalk never again.

Service was good. Room was ok. It wasn't a 5star hotel. But free parking and breakfast. The female staff in he front desk was very helpful in the evening and also at 11pm. I though she was the manager. The light bulb wasn't working and she replaced it, she ask me if I wanted to change room, Because the TV was also giving us problem, but she fix it.

Last year I went to Super 8 on Mother's Day and I had a good time there the room was clean there was no bed bugs and the breakfast that we had there was okay and the staff was very respectful.

Horrible customer service. Blankets are full of holes, towels had pubic hair, and long strands of hair. My credit card was charged extra without my consent, manager is rude, they don't explain customers their regulations. No privacy, drunks were knocking our door at 5:00 in the morning. Don't waste your money.

When I checked in, I went to a wedding weekend with my family. The wedding venue actually recommended this place. Our room is on the 2nd floor. There were stains on the carpet and a hallway if it smelled of smoke and smoked marijuana. There is a bad air-conditioner in my room. Although they do not charge me with the wide ground at night, the irritating smell mixed with no air conditioner is enough to let us pack our things. I can't put my kids in this filthy. I left several messages for the general manager and never received a call. I told her it was on the beach. Not bad! Finally we were in a very clean and comfortable Marriott hotel 30 minutes away. My room is very clean on the 1th floor of the family room. The 2nd floor I think is a relatively poor one. Alone. I will never live in this motel again. Not only does it need to be well cleaned, but the fact that a new manager knows two things about hospitality.

After reading the reviews I was a little sketchy about staying here. Once we entered the room, there was an immediate smell of cleanliness. First thing I did was check the bed and there were no bed bugs. Yes the carpet is dirty but overall it was a decent room. No broken appliances or holes in the wall. Very close to the boardwalk. Nothing like the pictures but still had a decent stay and room.

We stepped into our room and looked like someone had a Orgy and the room had stains and the appliances where like 50 years old and the fire alarm was making noises every 5 minutes and the there were tons of homeless and crackheads behind the building and people couldn't sleep and the parking lot smells like dead animals and the breakfast was freezer waffles and old nasty bread and shity coffee that tasted like dirt and the maid service was horrible they would make the room dirtier than how you left it and the pool was so dirty it felt like you were swimming in a std infested watering hole and you would have a itchy ass and leaky ass hole afterwards.

Disrespectful staff and poor cleanliness. Apparently they don't believe that we got two people who are under 18 and they ask for their ID. I don't know about you but we travel to millions of places. In fact, they aren't even allowed to ask. After a few hours when we called the 1-800 number, the same guy from the front desk called my dad's cell phone with curious frustration. It's how they talk. However, the location is really good due to being close to the boardwalk. However, the way the staff settle things is childish. In conclusion, exercise with extreme caution and call the 1-800 number if they cause any problems.

This place sucks they don't even have fitted sheets the sink is broken and customer service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody! Theres plenty of affordable better rooms around the area…

Let me start by saying Super 8 is not very super. The rooms are dirty. The equipments do not work properly. The sealing looks like it's about to fall off. The bathroom is disgusting and lastly but most importantly the customer service is terrible. Would not recommend to anyone. Even if you are looking for a cheap motel to stay for the night, there are far better locations that are worth your money. All I have to say is… STAY AWAY!
