Expensive 2 star hotel, but relatively cheap given everything here is expensive. The service is amazing w a personal touch. Felt like I was in at least a 3 star hotel. Would stay again. And they really do have the best (free) breakfast in the city.

We stayed here 3 nights and have to say it was a very nice hotel. Looks pretty brand new. Room was a good size and very clean. The people working there were very friendly. The only downfall was the price. We paid $847.00 for those 3 nights but I'm sure it's because of Summer rates and there are not a lot of hotels around to choose from in town so they know people will pay the price and Yellowstone is just down the road. I would definitely stay here again.

I have to give this place 5 stars. For a Rodeway Inn, this place was very nice. The room was very clean and classy. They left a candy dish on the dresser and a handwritten thank you card from the manager welcoming us on the bed! There was free breakfast which had pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and biscuits and gravy! I woke up around 6am and sat on a chair in the porch looking it at the mountains, and soon after the staff put hot coffee and muffins out on the porch for anyone to stop by and take. Overall a very comfortable experience.

Stayed for a night and had dinner in their restaurant. Good food and a full bar. Free shuttle to and from the airport. Nicest drivers! Luther even took me on a Starbucks run in the morning! Such a great guy!

Lovely, clean, comfortable, with many 'over and above' touches that I've never experienced — even in 4* hotels. The friendly, polite reception staff kicked off the excellent experience, followed by the handwritten welcome card in our room. A first for me! The whole hotel is maintained very well, and smells lovely (after a stinky stay the night before at Rodeway Inn Idaho Falls — these two establishments are polar opposites in every way possible… the clean fresh scents were highly appreciated! ) They also have ice water and sweets at reception for guests, again another extra touch you don't often find in 2* places. The only negative for me, was that Wi-Fi didn't work for me during my two night stay. I was advised that in bad wind the service doesn't work so well, though today the weather is fine. Other than that, loved staying here and think it's great value for money!

Our room was nice and clean. The office staff were very helpful with recommendations. We actually had a handwritten welcome card waiting for us in the room when we got here. That was very nice. I don't think I've ever had that before in other hotels. I would come here again.

Hotel is completely booked during peak season, and the room we were given didn't have enough beds. They brought us an extra mattress though, which made things OK. The hotel itself is fine and is staffed by some nice people. It's more or less downtown Gardiner and is as close to the north entrance of Yellowstone as you're going to get.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. They recommended a great dinner spot and we're really helpful with yellowstone tips. Great choice in Gardiner.

Fantastic place to stay in Gardiner. They upgraded us to their rental home and were incredibly friendly upon check-in. They give very up to date info about the parks and roads. I will stay here again.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. I left a bag there and they tried to reach me day & night. Finally we touched base and they were willing to ship it home for me! very thankful to all the staff & especially bonnie! if we are in yellowstone again, we will definitely be staying here.

Economical and clean for few nights. There is great town market near by to get all your needs. The Staff is really friendly and helpful.

We made a reservation here for two nites. First nite reservation was at $210 and second nite was $170. I cancelled the first nite because rate was high. Both original reservations were made through their 800 number (Choice). I decided to cancel first nite reservation at $210 but hold second nite at $170. I called the front desk to make sure it was not screwed up. The property could not access reservation system at time I called but promised to make it later that day. They made the reservation change but increased my $170 reservation by $40 without any notification. When the email came, I saw the $40 plus tax surprise. I called 800# (Choice) and they tried to correct the error. They told me they could not change the rate hike and I had to call the local property. So I called the property but it was too early to take my call. I called two days later and explained the issue. The guy at the front desk understood the issue but was unable to correct the issue. He said he would have to talk to the owner. I waited several hours but no response. Time was of the essence because the reservation deadline was rapidly approaching. I called the property and had to cancel. The 800# could not correct the issue nor could the front desk person. After talking to the owner, he had no clue and did not care one bit. He was proud to take my cancellation and move on. If you think a $40 increase in fees plus tax with no approval is right, then stay here.

Pros: *Nice sized, clean rooms *a great breakfast. *very friendly staff Cons: *The windows in the bedroom are only covered by thin mini-blinds. The trailers behind the hotel had lights which shined right into our bedroom and then the Sun started rising around 5:30ish and lit our room up. Furthermore, there are lots of birds chirping outside. After a very long road trip, we got very little sleep. *The beds are VERY firm.

Very nice rooms with comfortable beds. Great breakfast! Elk walking right down the street by the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would stay again and recommend.

Every once in a while during travel you will come across a place that can be considered as a pearl. This place is definitely that! The kindness and welcomeness starts at the desk where you immediately feel welcome. The handwritten welcome card in the room only made my positive feeling better. The rooms are nice, spacious and good insulated. Air-conditioning is perfect and the internet is, finally during our roundtrip, steady and useable (as opposed by many other places in the region! ) If you want to have a good place to stay in which you are honestly welcome, then this is the place to be!

Very nice. They had a nice welcome card on the bed. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Kind staff. We slept well.
