The hotel is clean, offers stunning views, as a great pool/ hot tub area and Free Laundry. The front desk staff was supper helpful and cheerful.

We were stunned by the River view right out side our room and all the accommodations the friendly staff did to keep everyone safe and happy. Truly had a blast! Great location to have vacation right at the hotel.

This is the perfect place to stay in north Yellowstone/Gardiner. Even better they accept pets! River side rooms have an incredible view of the Yellowstone River and the mountains. There are great, comfortable sitting areas around the hotel for relaxing and enjoying the views. Elk seem to roam the hotel grounds daily. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Free daily breakfast buffet was yummy and plentiful with lots of options. There is even a laundry center onsite that is free including detergent, etc!

The bathroom and toilets were dirty, it was not cleaned at all. The Carpet smells very bad. A cleaned room is the minimum expected.

This place was absolutely perfect. Clean and spacious. Get a river view room if you can, looks right over the Yellowstone River. A pretty good restaurant right on sight. Short drive to Yellowstone entrance This was the view from our room. If your room is not riverview they have nice sitting areas riverside.

We had a river view and that is the best! We could open the windows and door to hear the river… and the view of the river was fantastic! This hotel is easy to reach from Yellowstone Park which is about 5 miles away. The only issue is price and due to the Yellowstone Park traffic there is not really a reasonable hotel room around! So they are inline with that just be ready to pay more near Yellowstone. The hotel SUPERB though! Be warned to get to the lower level you carry luggage down the stairs which we could do.

This hotel is smack dab in the middle of Yellowstone. There were lots of restaurants and shops close by. The hotel was set right on the bank of the Yellowstone river. Very scenic. There were rustic swings to sit and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There were deer and other animals that wandered close by. I loved the accomodations and would recommend it The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The north entrance to Yellowstone National was right there.

Proper room but plain carpet of the disgusting hallway! Unwelcoming and unfeasent staff: sloppy checkin and very unsympathetic room staff! Don't do it!

Great hotel close to the north entrance. Wonderful river view. Such a convenient restaurant, gift shop and great morning buffet. Great place to come back to after a tiring day in the park. Laundry facilities really helped. Clean and comfortable big room. Bed felt like a cloud.

No need to look elsewhere. This was a wonderful experience from start to finish, beautiful place, affordable rates, great food, wonderful staff! If you want an exceptional experience from beginning to end, this is your place! Everyone is absolutely wonderful and compassionate, including the owner and operator Jim Kemp, my wife and I cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful getaway! Can't wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed our stay here and this place really stands out of the crowd. 1. View: just in front of this hotel, they got a river running and also a very nice mountain view. There is also few swings in the front. My best part is to sit on the swing, drink coffee and watch the river/mountains 2. Service: Really good. Had a very warm welcome from the front desk. Room service did a great job. 3. Breakfast: it's in the next door cafe. It's the best breakfast I have eaten. Just the regular options but well made. 4. Room: really comfortable and quality rooms. Even the body lotion smells really nice. Nice wall hanging in the room.

This was a decent Best Western in gardiner. A quaint little town. Close to a lot of restaurants and to the north entrance to Yellowstone and Mammoth Hot Springs. Rooms were clean and we had a beautiful river view which was nice. Had an elk come to the river first night we were there. Overall a good place to stay and had breakfast included at the Yellowstone Mine restaurant which was a buffet style… it wasn’t a great breakfast but it was good for what we needed!

I stayed here for two nights with $300+ a night just to be closer to Yellowstone National park. We checked in on Saturday late night and got a riverview room. The room view is awesome and the bed size is fair. The problem is the bed spring box was setup up side down so the bed collapsed at night and I was not able to get any sleep at all. In the morning I complained and they were able to fix it right away and they have mentioned to me that I should be the person who let them know as early as possible. I thought the bed was as is and have never thought of the spring box was setup up side down. It's so sad that I am the one who should mention their problem but not having a room ready by the time I check in. I feel like I'm paying for a room that is on the side of a highway but as of the location, it charging me 10x the value. They understand my situation in the morning and I have asked respond from General manager or front office in charge but then the night staff have no idea what I am talking about even though it involved more than 5 people came into my room in the morning to find out what was the problem with the bed. I guess I will rather stay in the camp ground than having a muscle pain on my neck and back. There are many other hotels around this area and this is certainly not the one I will recommend. I'm one of the unlucky one and I hope you don't experience the same as I do.

The hotel is older. The price you pay is because of the location it is in, which is fantastic. The north entrance arch is visible from the hotel. Breakfast was an average buffet style with typical items — — we were happy they offered breakfast. My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. They are located on a river and provide a few swings and a walkout to view it and the nice mountain scenery. There are a few old stagecoaches outside for photo ops. The breakfast is in a restaurant next door that is mine themed with old mining equipment decorations, which was neat. The parking lot had three deer hanging out in it. This town is cheaper to stay in than West Yellowstone and is prettier scenery wise. Very close to Mammoth Hot Springs. I'd stay here again.

We got the river view room and the view was amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very nice hotel to stay in Northern entrance of Yellowstone.

My husband and I have stayed at BW Mammoth Hot Springs many times over many years and have always been happy with this motel. On our latest weekend stay, we found the room and bed comfy and clean. The pool was great. From our room window we saw snow capped mountains, pronghorn, elk and mule deer. Yellowstone Park is less than a mile away. Breakfast buffet at adjoining restaurant was included in room rate and offered delicious hot and cold foods. We will stay here again.

Love this motel! It's not fancy but always clean and quiet. The staff is helpful and welcoming. The location makes you think you are out in the country instead of right in town. The two minute drive to Yellowstone Park is so convenient and you still have all the gateway community advantages.

Nice clean room facing the river. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower. Breakfast was at nearby restaurant and good food.

Reasonable room rates, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, swimming pool and a hot tub. What more do you need while you're traveling? How about a complimentary hot breakfast buffet? Need a view of the nearby mountains — you get it. Wildlife sightings? You get that too. We saw elk and deer in and around the parking lot and neighborhood around us. And you are just minutes away from the North entrance gate to Yellowstone National Park.

My husband and I had a very comfortable and restful stay at Best Western in Gardiner. The room was clean and pretty. The bed was wonderfully comfortable — I slept like a rock! Breakfast at The Miner was a real treat. The food was delicious! We live in Billings and usually take long day trips to Yellowstone Park. We definitely plan to return and stay at Best Western, and have more time to enjoy the park.

After reading their reviews we picked Best Western, on the north edge of town where the elk and bison play. We had eaten at their restaurant two times in the past and were very pleased. The bonus was, by staying there we had a voucher for 7.95 off our breakfasts When I said we were celebrating our 45th Anniversary, they have us a complimentary drink. We ate the restaurant that night having prime rib and Halibut. Great choices. We loved spending time at the park. Perfect way to celebrate 45 years of marriage. (BTW we stayed in their main building)

It was pretty nice for a Best Western. They have a nice pool and hot tub as well.

I love this hotel. It is close to Yellowstone but the great staff, comfortable rooms, very nice full service restaurant and bar and general ambience make it a great place to stay whether or not you can go into the Park.

The Best Western is in a great location, with river view rooms right on the Yellowstone. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the dual-head shower. The breakfast we ate did not seem the most freshly prepared, and coffee was more coffee-like than actual coffee.

We have had an excellent three day stay! Staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean. Pool and whirlpool are well maintained.

Old and shabby lobby, but the rooms were clean. When we asked about how to turn on the hot tub jets, we were told that others hadn't had any trouble. I have used many and these were different. Why the insult insinuating that two of us in different parties were somehow lacking in problem solving? Also, the hangers are the style that you can't steal but are hard to use. Hard to find a place to hang a second towel. Overall the place is adequate.

Okay. Its location is great, but it's just an oldish glorified motel. Apparently, though, it's one of the best in the area. Room is clean, but everything here is overpriced.

The facility was clean and comfortable located along the main street in Gardiner with the Yellowstone River at its back. The dinning facility is a rustic restaurant to the front of the hotel that offers a good menu with local items such as Bison and Elk. A full hot and cold complimentary breakfast is offered in the morning. The room offered a fridge and microwave and comfortable bedding. The added treat of close encounters of Elk and Deer around the facilities was an additional treat.

Employees are nice and helpful. They were able to answer any questions we had in regards to where to go. Rooms are nice and clean. Only complaint I would have is the shower curtain doesn't cover the tub to well, causing the floor to be wet after a shower.

Way over priced! Adjacent restaurant lounge identified with hotel is a dive. One would expect more from a $250/night hotel. Bartenders were so bad it was amusing to hear the locker room trash language as they were more interested in interacting with the locals. After Sitting at the bar for 10 minutes watching and listening to the trash talk I had to ask for service. Felt if I didn't leave a decent tip I would be cut when I left. If it's the wild west then charge saloon prices.

The hotel is an older one but very convenient to the north entrance of Yellowstone Park and our room was nice. Most employees are nice except for one grumpy man at the front desk. We were told there would be coffee in the conference room throughout the day but there was never any there. The food in the restaurant is very good but we got a horrible server who insinuated that my food allergy isn't real. Also be aware that they charge you a "resort fee". It isn't a resort and I didn't think that was necessary.

Very clean and the rooms were stocked with plenty of towels and pillows. And the best thing ever? Their buffet style breakfast was awesome. The parking lot was on the small side but oh well. I totally got what I paid for and plan to stay there again.

The service was great, allowing us early check in. The room was older but clean, shower was tiny! With 2 shower heads that took up way to much room. The jetted tub was nice to have after a long day of site seeing Yellowstone. Location was great. Would of given this place 4 stars if the price was lower. Was WAY overpriced.

Amazing! After 12 hours driving in our truck this was the perfect place to unwind. Our room was so nice! Very clean and updated, the bed was so comfortable, all the way around a very cozy place to stay. Hot tub was amazing too! We will definitely stay here again!
