My first time visiting from Alabama. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful! Best experience ever!

Great place to stop! The Hunters Pie did not disappoint! The Huckleberry Shandy was also pretty yummy! The service was friendly also! Must stop!

Good BBQ and fast service.

Bad food. Mac and cheese was cooked noodles with a slice of cheese on top.

Great would recommend! Had to wait about 30 minutes to get in, as with all the other restaurants in town as everyone leaves the parks and wants dinner at the same time. Was worth the wait! Decorated cute, did have a neat outdoor high rise eating area however due to covid that was only for to go orders. Super friendly waiter, great menu and food was out quickly.

DONT EVER GO HERE! We booked a room and an hour and a half later had to cancel because our TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER PULLED HER FEEDING TUBE OUT and we had to TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL. When my husband called they charged us instead and refuse a refund unless we show them a DOCTORS NOTE. My baby relies on this tube TO EAT. What kind of business is this. *UPDATED* we have called countless times (we are at like 50) and only get hung up on. Of course we are VERY upset. They said they maybe would consider if I send a doctors note or a picture of her medical information. This is against HIPPA violations and I have already contacted our medical lawyer. If you wanted to see my baby so bad and proof here you go. They said this review was harassment and hurtful to their business and quite frankly I don’t care. I hope EVERYONE sees the evil in this and spends no money here.

Do not ever stay here. Cowboy’s Lodge has BED BUGS. I stayed one night and got bitten all over my body. The infestation was that bad. Not only did I have to contend with painful, itchy, horrible bites for the next month but COWBOY’s LODGE AND GRILLE REFUSED TO ADMIT THEY HAVE BED BUGS. They refused to reimburse us even though we paid for 2 nights and could not stay there a second night since it was crawling with blood sucking disgusting bugs. We had to pay for another hotel room somewhere else for premium rates because it was last minute booking. They denied the whole thing and tried to tell us we were making it up. Even though I had bites everywhere and we found LIVE BUGS IN THEIR BEDS. I spent my trip to Yellowstone suffering pain and discomfort and it was almost ruined. It was horrible. Since they refused to admit they have bed bugs they WILL STILL HAVE BED BUGS. Save yourself the trouble and do not stay here. You will regret it.

The place was relatively empty when we got there and Andrew was a very attentive waiter. We ordered burgers for the 2 of us with the Huckleberry haninaro sauce. Food came out quick and hot. The place started filling up and was screaming busy and Andrew kept his cool and handled everything. Will definitely be back.

Great Western themed Hotel with Awesome Restaurant attached. Friendly Staff, great Service and Guest Rooms that offer that Montana Feel on the doorstep to Yellowstone National Park. Make this a must stop on your visit out West.

The young gentleman who waited on us was wonderful. The food was great and the atmosphere relaxing. We will be back.

We spent the night there, the manager was great. We had dinner outside because it was nice out and the food was great. Our condo was super nice and I would recommend this place 100 times over, we will be back!

We ran into issues with road closures in Yellowstone and last minutes went to Gardiner. Stumbled upon this place and was amazing! The staff was great, food was great and room was very cute and comfortable! Was a blessing in a last minute situation. Would recommend highly to anyone needing housing or food!

My friends and I were traveling and we got to town real late. We checked in and the staff was super nice. They even made us a couple of burgers 2 hours after the grill was closed. I had the veggie burger and OMG it was amazing! Our room was just to awesome for words. The bed was very comfortable too. Thank you for a short but wonderful spot to visit.

Great dinner at Cowboys! Hubby had the chili which was excellent, then we split a pulled pork Sammy + extra fries and huckleberry habanero sauce. All were excellent but Huckleberry Habanero was especially awesome! Had great service from Mel Woods! Highly recommend Cowboy’s Grille!

Great food do recommend sooner than later tho started to run out of items on menu towards after we ordered and got our food and still had people coming in and waiting to get seated.

Wow, this place has great food! Was hesitant at first by the outside. But it’s not what you are expecting when you walk in. Very high quality of food with fancy side to it! I would highly recommend stopping in for the jalapeño buffalo burger and the Wild Game Chili! Disappointed I drove pass this place everyday of the vacation until the second to last day.

I was in the mood for some BBQ, had some pulled pork, some chili and the wife a BBQ chicken sandwich. All really great in a log cabin gave it an authentic local feel. Great food and friendly people.

I got the half pound buffalo burger. Amazing! Friendly and courteous staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices … I will absolutely be back next time I'm in Gardiner.

Such an unexpected find. Our best meal on our entire trip for which we have not “been on a budget” Jalapeño cheese burgher with whiskey bacon.

Great food, good prices, and great location. Just got out of the Park and my family was famished. We were impressed with the quality of the food, big portions, friendly staff, and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Country western bbq spot with plenty of decent menu choices to choose from. Restaurant open until 9 PM everyday.

We really enjoyed this place. The stuffed heads were a bit creepy but that’s just me. The dinner was excellent. We have been on the road since May in our RV and was craving BBQ but I have a hypersensitivity to any and all types for pepper. The waitress brought a small sample for me to try. It was perfect. I had pork and hubby had the brisket. We will go back again before we leave the area. Service was excellent! Dessert was great.
My only complaint is the seating. Wooden benches played havoc with my bad hip and back.

The only place to eat in Gardener! Real Dow home cooking, everyone else wants to be French Chefs. The Potato salad is the Bomb!

Great staff and good food. Everyone in our party of 7 enjoyed their meals: catfish, BBQ pork-ribs-brisket, bison meatloaf, BLT. Stop by if you're in town.

Pretty good place to eat. Air conditioned, unlike another place close by; serves regular hamburgers, unlike the other place close by that only serves elk or bison burgers; serves cokes, unlike the other place close by.

It is a nice place with everything you need, and close to the north entrance of Yellowstone park. The only thing not very good is that the house is not soundproof very much, you can hear the sound of your neighbors clearly. Hope you have a quiet neighbor.

Stayed here and ate at the restaurant. I loved our lodge. We were able to prepare our own meals and save some cash since there was a full kitchen in it. We also are at the Cowboys Grill and we were not disappointed. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Ambience… tasty food. The food was served on time and the portion was perfect. Over all I loved it.

My husband chose this place to eat dinner… Delicious. We are here from Maui, Hawaii. Shannon our server was amazing and the best server we have had on our vacation. She gave us a taste of what we have back home… true aloha.

Food was excellent. My husband got the Bison burger and loved it. Kids menu was good and they were pleased. The cherry cobbler was awesome. What we enjoyed the most was the service! Best service in rown.

I didn't stay at the lodge… only tried the restaurant. The food was decent but don't go here for good customer service. My waitress tried to overcharge me (and couldn't adequately explain the reason for it). The overall attitude of the people running it is "eat then get. " In other words, there's a tense vibe in the air and they will start trying to clear your table before you are done.

The servers were friendly, the decor is definitely hunting themed. They have excellent bbq sandwiches! If you are staying in Gardiner I'd recommend eating here at least once.

I didn't stay there, but dined! Breathtaking views, but Gardiner is a gem, superb food. Really the Montana beef something to say to our chianina, but even the fried chicken was yummy and also the dessert. Don't get up from the table without having tasted a stew of theirs. All homemade and Very American.

My sister and I ate here 2 out of the 4 days we were in Gardiner, Montana. We would have eat here more if we had been close by before closing. The food was off the hook! The "Girls" were so sweet and upbeat! We love this place. Not one bad thing to say! Stop in and enjoy! You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful from the inside out. Wonderful atmosphere from dining to nighting. Saddle up and experience a cowboy rodeo. Also a grille with BBQ that will blow your mind! They have specials that will give you a taste of the south no matter how far into the hills you are!

The hostess and server aimed to please for our large group of tourists; her direct manner of interacting with the diners was off-putting for some of us. The salad was in a tiny bowl; I would have liked more of it. My trout was prepared well, and dessert was delicious.

Just outside Roosevelt Arch and the north entrance of Yellostone, in Gardiner MT. Good hot lunch. I had the bull burger and the wife had cowboy stew.

Good food after a long day in Yellowstone. Nothing too special except for the waitress who made my son laugh! She was awesome!

The waitress was rude; didn't offer us water, forgot our salad, and never checked in on us once during the whole meal. The food was subpar at best. My sandwich was dry. When we rang up, the waitress did manual math (? ) for our checks — like literally in her head, and then with pen and paper. The decor was inviting but ultimately boring. There was no music. I would never eat here again or recommend it, especially when there are so many other restaurants nearby.

Good variety of food but pulled pork was tough and there were not a lot of non-starchy veggies on their home-cooking style menu. Service started out good, but it was difficult to get a check. Overall, it was a good place to eat.

This restaurant has THE best food north of the Mason Dixon Line. It was so good and tasted so homed cooked I thought I was back home in the South eating my Mama's and Grandma's food. Been to 43 states. If you go here, Cowboy's is a MUST!

Had dinner on the 22nd of August with close friends. BBQ and burgers rated good. Walleye Pike with an amazing vegetable ragout was great! What a wonderful surprise. Service was very good as were the sides and cobbler desert.

Service was great and fast. Food was delicious I got chilli and my husband got the steak special. Good value portions are big and price was less than most other restraints.

The restaurant was clean and the wait staff polite. My wife and I had the bison burger. The cost was high and the burger was average. The 2 kids chose the hamburger with fries. Cheese costs extra. For two children's meals and one adult meal the total bill was $35. However, the entire town has comparative costs.

Fast, friendly service. There was a decent variety on the menu. The food was pretty good, a lot better than some of the other options for tourists in the area.

Such simple food with the most amazing flavors. Highly recommend this place. Homemade Peach Cobbler was probably best I've eaten. This is A MUST STOP if your in the area.
