Gardiner is open! The flood is gone and Dreamcatcher Tipi Hotel is a wonderful place to stay! The views are breathtaking, the staff is amazing, the stay is one of a kind and so much fun! Our family of five fit with plenty of room in one tipi. The furniture is VERY comfortable. For sure my kind of “camping”. Mountain views and fresh air are so good for the soul! Thank you Gardiner for a great time and awesome memories!

This was a beautiful way to spend an evening AND morning! The staff is awesome! Sarah (sp? ) was very welcoming and thoughtful! Great place to stay and enjoy the nearby Hot Springs and everything else the area has to offer. We will definitely be back!

We just left this magical place. We booked one night because we did not know what to expect…. We ended up staying for 3 nights. We had an amazing time. The staff is so friendly and ready to help with anything. They entertained our kids and answered all their questions. My daughters fell in love with Mellie the dog and Harlow the cat. The tipis were clean and the bathrooms as well. We loved the breakfast place and also the fire every night. We loved meeting people and hear about their travels. We really had the best time and didn’t want to leave.

We just had the best stay here. I only did 1 night and wish I had booked more here. It’s everything it is advertised to be. Very clean and well kept up which is very important to me. Best night of sleep I have ever had in a tent, and an amazing adventure!

Amazing place! The tent was spacious, my family of five fit perfectly. The bed was soo comfortable! The views are breath taking! Bath individual rooms were clean & they provided everything needed. I could go on & on. We enjoy our stay tremendously!

If you are looking for adventure in comfort and style, look no further. This place was perfect. The tipis were clean, cozy, and comfortable! The bathrooms are kept immaculate all day. Which was nice after a long day of being outside to be able to shower in a clean private bathroom. The grounds are small with less than 20 teepees so everything is close and very convenient. We absolutely loved our stay here! What an amazing environment, definitely felt very special. Tipis were quite cozy and comfortable. This is not just a place to sleep — it’s an experience all in itself! The family tipi had plenty of room for my family of 5 — this was significantly better than a typical hotel stay. We highly recommend!

Absolutely worth staying here! We drove 8 hours one day just to stay one night and it was the best night of sleep my whole family had our whole trip. The tipis are comfortable and they even wheeled in an extra bed for our third child at no extra cost to us, meaning no one had to share a bed! We ventured into Yellowstone and missed the campfire at night which we all regretted and were saddened by but it’s just another excuse to come back another time! It was exactly the experience we all needed to unwind and relax! Can’t recommend enough!

Host was awesome, a truly welcoming and unique experience! Rooms were larger than expected and bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. All that and s’mores and beer / wine reception in the evening.

We loved this place! Super unique, cozy, clean, comfortable and peaceful. Very close to the park entrance. Great views and helpful friendly staff. We are in our 60’s and found it to be superbly comfortable.

We really enjoyed our visit. The beds are super comfortable with quality linens. The bathrooms are clean and big. The tipis aren’t too cramped. They add nice touches to make it feel more luxurious. We enjoyed the campfire and s’mores/wine. The breakfast was a nice variety. I appreciated the egg option and not just all carbs. My only recommendation would be to add hooks somehow in the tipi or add a hanging stand for coats or towels. I highly recommend this place though. It’s beautiful!

One of the best experience hotel. Tipi is clean, bath area is clean, staff is friendly and kind. Wine and beer service is excellent and break first also good. Only need is lock for tipi.

A wonderful place that has spoiled camping for me because I'll never be in such a luxurious "campsite" anymore. Homemade, delicious breakfast, camp fire and chatting with the other guests topped it off. And I haven't even mentioned the crisp air in the morning, the view of the Devil's Slide and the creek bullying us to sleep. Conveniently placed for Yellowstone. It was the best place to stay in our 3, 5 week travel to different National Parks.

We had an amazing experience with this hotel. My son loved the place and still claims its the highlight of the trip. The tipis are large and accommodating (ours had two queen/double beds). The bathrooms were well equipped with a hot shower. The location was convenient, right off of Rte 89. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is well equipped with corn hole, grills, swings, lounges and the nightly fire with s'mores was a fun treat. Some misses. The breakfast was a bit light on substance and taste. We heard a lot of road noise from our tipi (not controlable). The guests at the firepit can get loud if you are trying to sleep and depending on where your tipi is (ours, #6) was right next to the firepit. The tipi also got a lot of light, from the lights on the registration tent and bathrooms. I would recommend one of the tipis on either end (they are kind of all in a row). You couldn't keep any food in your tipi and we didn't want to stash anything of value, since they were not secured (no locks or doors on the tipis). The second night we were there, there was a wind/rain storm. This can be loud on the tipi, and a bit frightening, as the whole tipi will shake… but again, out of control of the hotel. The second morning we were there, we had an elk munching the grass between the tipis and that was a highlight. My son wants to come back sometime!

Best way to camp. Nature,. But without giving up the luxuries of sleeping in a comfortable setting. They served s'mores around a campfire. This is a definite win. We will be back.

Highly recommended, but would give a 4.5 if I could as the continental breakfasts are underwhelming, and restaurants are about five miles away in "downtown" Gardiner, which is a nice, little town, by the way. Otherwise, very cool. Tipis are spacious, and the beds are very comfortable — not the common, worn-out hotel mushiness. During our stay, the nightly lows were in the 30s and 40s, yet the two space heaters were on the lowest settings and threw off plenty of heat. Also,, they provide a lot of blankets — more than we needed. It rained very hard one night, and everything stayed dry. The bathrooms are nice and very clean, and there seem to be enough of them to satisfy demand even when there is no vacancy. The busy time is between 7:00 AM — 8:00 AM; so, plan accordingly. In the evenings, the central fire pit draws most visitors and the group seemed to have fun every night, but we were too tired to join. Would definitely stay there, again.

This place is truly a dream! From the view to the campfire and smores. We were greeted with beer and wine. The tipis were so beautifully arranged and beds were so clmfy and warm. Its definitely glamping but worth it.

Love this place! Tippee’s are beautiful inside! Wish they would turn outside lights out at night though to get the full experience without light pollution!

Amazing experience, super friendly staff, and the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on. A herd of deer feed on the property each day, a huge herd of elk can be seen across the Yellowstone River. We used this location as our base for the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park, and couldnt be happier that we did.

I stayed here back in September and it was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Run, don't walk to Gardner, MT and the Dreamcather hotel. The location is stunning and it is a hotel experience unlike any other you'll come across. The first word that comes to mind when describing Dreamcatcher is serene. Waking up in the early morning to be met with only the sounds of the Yellowstone River in the distance, and some of the local wildlife, was pure therapy. In the evening, the hotel owners provide complimentary s'mores and beer and wine to all guests. I met some friendly people, both American and non-American, who had traveled a long ways to be in Montana and explore Yellowstone. Gardner is a charming little town and only a few mins away by car, and the entrance to Yellowstone is right off the main town road. If you are really looking for peace, tranquility, and time to shut down and reboot — don't hesitate to come out and stay here. There quite literally hasn't been a week that's gone by, since returning home back in September, where I haven't thought about my time here. I look forward to returning in the future.

$350 a nigth, are you kidding. The truck stops have a cleaner bathroom and a shower than this place, if you like dirty public outhouse, ENJOY you stay.

You can save $350 a night bring your own tent and you can stay in nice and clean camp site on the river away from the highway noise few miles away from this place. We read all the positive about this place before making our decision, these people are friends or use to staying in a dump.

This was definitely a bucket list Experience! It was our first visit to Yellowstone this week and we had snow and unseasonably cold temps. We were more than a little worried about being able to do this based on the weather. The owner called us the morning of our stay to tell us that our Teepee would be warm enough but that we were free to cancel at no charge even after we got there if we were uncomfortable. The setting is spectacular and everything is top notch, from the grounds and checkin with hot cider, to the fire pit with complementary s'mores, wine and games with prizes. The tipis are very comfortable and beautifully decorated with everything you need, including Wi-Fi. The beds might be the most comfortable I've ever slept on and the sound of light rain on the Teepee didn't hurt either. The bathrooms are very short walking distance from the tipi and beautifully done and more modern than any other hotel we stayed at during our five day trip. This was first class all the way around and the highlight of our vacation. We can't wait to come back! Put this on your bucket list now!

So glad we stayed here. Best choice for vacation. Away from the crowds, super clean, warm, friendly. Loved the evening wine, beer, s'more, camp fires. Getting to know so other folks in a relaxing enviroment. I would stay here again and again over an in park resort. We stayed 3 nights. Beds were very comfortable.

We just stayed here for 1 night while visiting Yellowstone National Park but wish we could have stayed for much longer! the tipis are awesome, the beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in, the bathrooms are so clean and decorated nicely and the time by the fire was a blast, I had to pull my girls away from the fun! Highly recommend staying here and for multiple nights if you can. Owners are on site and all the staff are great!

A unique and wonderful experience, combining western charm and modern convenience. At night there is a campfire with s'mores, beer and wine. The bathrooms are high-end and spotless. The owners are wonderful people and the staff is warm and friendly. Home made huckleberry tarts for breakfast! If you are in the area, you deserve to treat yourself to this magnificent hotel experience!

The tipi goes perfectly with the backdrop of the mountains and river. The air is friendly with people gathered around the fire in the evening telling stories about their trip.

Great place to stay if you're looking to vacation in the area! They provide heated private restrooms and complimentary alcohol to those of age! They have nightly fires where you can make Smores and they serve breakfast every morning with a smile!

This place is not Native owned/operated and the "tipis" they source are also not native owned and operated. Shame on the owners for profiting of off a "native" experience without actually supporting indigenous people. Also, when confronted by indigenous people that find the use of their culture for profit offensive, the owner dismissed the criticism and tried to justify it by using references to Dancing with Wolves. I encourage anyone who wants to learn about Sioux culture, go speak to a sioux person and avoid this colonial mess alone.

Absolutely wonderful! I can't recommend this place highly enough. It was cold when we were there, but don't be put off! The fire was built higher and the tipi bedding was so warm that we could have slept through an ice age and not noticed. Will definitely go back. A great getaway and the hosts are so very warm and welcoming. Five stars is the minimum that dream catchers need, I'd go a solid 7 out of 5!
