There are AC units in the rooms, but they don't air condition the rest of the hotel. The hallways and lobbies are stifling hot. The fan in the bathroom didn't work. While in the shower, I was frozen out three separate times when the neighboring room flushed or turned on the water. The hotel was fairly clean, but not well maintained. It needs A LOT of work done. The breakfast was not great. The only protein they offered was stale hard boiled eggs. Everything else offered was carbs. No fresh fruit, even. I definitely suggest staying elsewhere if possible.

My first impression was bad. Older building that looks it in places. Even though the room was non smoking, it smelled like years of smokers stayed there. But, my bed was warm and clean. The hotel was relatively quiet. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. My shower was hot and a nice pressure. Once I got past the stale smoke smell, I had a nice stay.

We were given the wrong room. We were told it was because we checked in so late that they have ours away… other than that inconvenience it was in a nice area and had a good breakfast.

The door lock had been ripped out of the door there was a hole in the wall behind the door like someone had kicked it in and after mentioning it to management they never sent anyone down to look at it or fix it we stayed 3 days and not 1 time did a housekeeper knock and ask him for we needed towels or if we wanted our room serviced the game and movie room was locked due to Carpenters leaving tools and not returning for them but it was unlocked wh n we checked in the outside of the property was a disaster with trash all over parking lot cigarette butts piled up around the steps the laundry room was also a disaster with powdered soap dumped all over floor trash can was over flowing and after 2 days of walking by it to get to my room I finally grabbed a broom and cleaned it up and also swept up the cigarette butts and trash from the parking lot the maintenance man was not personable at all nor were the housekeepers. But it was quiet and fairly decent price breakfast was nice with a large variety of different things from biscuits and gravy and waffles to cereal oatmeal and yogurt among various other things but it was not impressed i.

The hotel clerk Ernie was very friendly and helpful. Greeted us kindly and checked us in and gave us all the pointers from breakfast to what the facility offers. I must say I was not pleased with the graveyard person. She had head phones in constantly and was not very helpful. The only time they had got coffee was from 7 to 11am. I'm an early riser but found ice cold coffee both mornings. I've never had that happen before. Usually even at 5am hotels have hot fresh coffee. The laundry room was loaded with clothes just sitting in the dryer at 11pm and where still there 3am when I went back and the same clothes where in the dryer at 7am when I returned. Bummer when you have softball kids. Enjoyed the room but some of the appliances did not work.

So far so good. Great prices.

It was a long time ago but I attended a conference and it was very enjoyable.

Service was outstanding. Had surgery and the shuttle took me and picked me up right on time.

Will never stay again! We stayed 2 nights. First night they gave us the wrong room. I paid for two queen beds we were given 1 queen bed. They did change it and later the clerk admitted he had mixed us up with someone else and we did indeed reserve 2 queen beds. The 2nd room the AC did not work or it did for a little bit and would then stop so we were given a 3rd room. At 1:30 AM the phone rang but by time we got to it they hung up. Next thing we know someone is knocking on our door they had assigned it to ANOTHER guest! They did not know we were in the room! Seriously? UGH I was ready to leave! The next day I stopped at the desk to make sure they knew we were in the room for another night. The gal reset our key so we would not get locked out at 11 pm just to be sure. And the Key did not work she reset it 3 times and all 3 times the key did not work. The housekeeper let us in our room! So they changed us to room number 4. The AC did not work in that one either but I really did not want to go to room and were leaving the next day so just left it but informed them at checkout. Also their breakfast was horrible! It is not any type of diet friendly you have your choice of make a waffle of biscuit with gravy. They did have 2 kinds of cold cereal and assorted donuts. I can guarantee we will NEVER stay there again! They charge to much for the experience. We go to Missoula quit a bit as that is where our daughter lives. Do your self a favor and skip this place!

It was nice and people were great. However, the pillows are terrible. They are a 1\4 the size of a regular pillow and really hard. The one thing a paying guest deserves is a good night sleep. Bed was comfortable. Please consider investing in decent pillows.

Good enough. Friendly staff. Pretty far from the airport but cabellas is close enough.

We went for the King Bed because the prices were so reasonable. Bed was very comfortable. We were facing a busy street but the noise was minimal. It's an old hotel but we would stay there again. Big room with lots of seating was nice. Pancake and waffle maker. We enjoyed our breakfast.

The inn is rather old once you pass the inviting main lobby. Pool and exercise rooms stark, cold, and just an empty feel to it. Room was cramped with old worn furniture and stained carpeting. Saggy bed and unpleasant odor throughout the private and public areas. Complimentary breakfast very sad. Would not visit again.

I have no issue with the hotel itself, as it's a nice hotel for the area, and the price is reasonable. I didn't have a problem with my stay until I was awoken at 2 AM to someone pounding on my door yelling to evacuate because there was a gas leak. I practically ran outside in my underwear, smelling a strong natural gas presence the entire way, only to be reassured by firefighters outside that there was no danger, and I could go back to my room. I didn't sleep for the rest of the night.

Reasonably priced hotel. The refrigerators in the rooms were nice to have along with the coffee pot so I didn't have to go down to breakfast to grab a cup while getting ready. Hotel is clean.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give negative stars I would, just to warn potential future patrons. When we were checking in, the woman answered phone calls and gave prices out to people which were considerably lower than what we were booked as and refused to adjust that for us saying she couldn't due to us booking online — THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE. Then when I went to talk with a manager, Annie, regarding this the next morning, she started yelling and talking over me — waving her hands in the air and getting loud. I interrupted her to tell her I do not want to argue, I was simply calling this customer service issue to a managers attention and she continued to yell and explain how I am wrong for asking. I began to walk away calmly because I was not looking for stress and she followed me out to my vehicle yelling "Ma'am come back here! " Honestly, this was a rather traumatic event and I want to let EVERYONE know that this is how they conduct business.

Bring your own pillows! They supply pillows that are 12" square and flat! The air conditioner couldn't cool the room. The counter person suggested turning it off for 10 minutes to reset itself! Didn't work! Spent the night because my daughter had an early surgery in the morning. So hot no one could sleep! Very disappointed!

Overpriced, tiny rooms, outdated, complete lack of technology at the front desk. We booked five rooms and I was the last to check in from our group. The night manager had no idea which rooms had been filled and had to call and run back and forth to knock on doors to find out which room was empty. All at one am with four exhausted children waiting and a parent traveling alone. It was a fiasco. I believe our room for two queen beds on the top floor was roughly $170 for a Friday night. There was no comp offered but the manager felt awful and was quite distraught with the computer system and my angst. I would never recommend anyone to stay here if at all possible. The price in no way reflects what you'll receive.

The price was good, but the beds were as hard as a rock. Our window had a crack in it, which added to the creepy atmosphere of the property. The game room was a joke considering that the doorknob was broken and we couldn't even go in. The vending machines had layers over 1/2" thick of dust on it which was not a great sign. Breakfast area and the lobby are both newer, and looked nice, but the rooms need an update. On the positive side, the breakfast was REALLY good given the type of hotel it is. Full biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and juices/pastries. That was definitely the highlight of the stay.

The hotel room looked great at first glance for the price. Once I started to settle in I noticed that the bedspread had hair all over it and once I pulled down the bedspread there was hair all over inside the sheets as well. I called down to the front desk and the guy working was really nice and brought me a new set of sheets, which I really appreciated. But, it worried me that if the bed was that dirty what else was as dirty as that bed. The room also was extremely humid and not well ventilated. The air conditioner that was in the room was hardly blowing any air even though it was turned up to its highest and coolest setting possible. You could also see a ton of dust on the vent which was probably blocking any air from coming out. Would not recommend if you have any allergies.

Breakfast was amazing! Great waffles and Biscuits and Gravy! Friendly staff! Fun game room! The beds were a little hard. Overall a fantastic stay!

First time in my life I have ever left a hotel and I travel alot. Perhaps they were short staffed in the cleaning department. Seemed as though they remade beds but forgot to change sheets. Had last customers coffee spills and hair left in beds and crusty pillows? Missed cleaning the bathroom too? Front desk staff was very nice and understanding. Showed us another room but we decided to go somewhere else.

Excellent service. I stayed several times with my dog and she and I were very happy. Excellent, caring staff. The stays with them couldn't have been more perfect! I highly recommend.

The breakfast wasn't amazing but it was edible but the staff and room were great. Only stayed one night and may stay again.

Nice and cheap. I did laundry, had breakfast, climbed a mountain, and had breakfast again! Refrigerator and microwave, good shower, nice staff.

Nice hotel. Front desk was cordial when booking a room at 2am. Would be 5 stars but the pillows were super small for some reason. Definitely would stay here again.

Static TV… but an amazing breakfast spread. If you aren't planning on watching TV in your room, but sleep and eat, its great.

Descent enough for the room and breakfast. However the management is fantastic! Went out of her way to be helpful to us. Playroom is pretty cool too.

My wife and and I recently spent a week in this motel while visiting our daughter. We had our dog with us but chose to have him stay with our daughter while we were there. On a near daily basis our dog was there for short periods and he was not only welcomed but treated exceptionally well by everyone there. The room itself was comfortable and clean and the only "complaint" that I could possible make was the noise of the air conditioner and even that was no louder than in most other motels we have stayed at. We will be staying there again on our next trip. The rate was also quite reasonable and even though our dog was in our room (at the encouragement of management) we were not charged the customary surcharge for having a dog in the room. These people were great.

Very reasonably priced. I had a late check-in and was easily accommodated. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. With tax, the walk-in price was cheaper than any online booking prices. Clean rooms. I would stay again.

I USED to love them until Annie became RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. My Husband and I used to travel frequently to Missoula to visit my family and always stayed here until Annie the GM decided to start acting unprofessional to be politically correct. I have heard her ranting and raving at her poor employees too many times for my liking. I used the computer in the lobby A LOT and I don't think she ever noticed me sitting there. It was uncomfortable for me, a guest hearing her yell about a housekeeper having to go pick up her children, missing money, how stressed and tired she is of working for this company, I could go on but those are the ones that stuck with me best. As a guest I should not have to hear those things. This is really the only issue I have with the GuestHouse, my room had always been clean, the staff was friendly, helpful, even Annie was at one point in time but, over the last year, something happened to her, perhaps retirement is in her near future. I only decided to write this review because of how dismissive she was towards my niece who called wanting information about renting a meeting space a few weeks back. I called to complain but she answered and I just hung up because I cant make a complaint against the general manager to the general manager, so my niece and I are going straight to the top, my niece is writing a letter to the corporate office. The other employees who work there do not deserve to be penalized because their manager hates working there.

I stayed at the GuestHouse Inn – Missoula for a Medical procedure. I was impressed with the front desk agent friendliness and the efficiency of showing me rooms. We ended up in a King room with a BIG flat screen TV so I could watch the Super Bowl, Thanks Annie for that special treat. I will be back and will recommend this hotel.

Rude, poor service, did not tell there was a convention of teenagers when reserving room, poorly furnished.

We travel to Missoula often and we have tried other comparable rate hotels, but we always come back to the Guest House International. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they are clean. Other places we have tried are either smaller, not so clean or in a seedy area of town. We like the location because it is just near the corner of South Reserve and Brooks. It is easy to get quickly to most places in town from here. And as others have said, the staff is friendly and helpful.

This was a great value. Check in person went overboard to please us. Clean and quiet. Thank You.

I made the reservation on the internet and didn’t know what to expect. I was very surprised how clean the hotel and how professional the front desk agent was when we checked in. The room was clean and we had a fridge and microwave in the room,. Great location with excellent service. Thank you.

Beds are WONDERFUL and breakfast was great. Great place to sleep. We ask for decaf coffee in the morning and with a smile the front desk girl had a pot decaf for us within minuets. I want to thank Sid for the great service we received on check in.

We made our reservation on internet Hotwire. We where surprised how nice the hotel was how clean, friendly, great breakfast, close to the hospital. My mom had a heart attack and we came to visit her. I will stay at the GuestHouse Inn every time we visit Missoula. It would be nice to have hot tub or pool, but we can do without it.

I was looking to relocate in Missoula. I stopped at the GuestHouse Inn for the night and was welcomed by a great smiling lady who was very helpful to show me the room and also to welcome my dog with a dog biscuit. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and relatives. I found out here name, even she had a name tag on, I only noticed her smile, and her name is Annie. Excellent service. Thank you.
