If I could give negative stars I would. Worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. My fiancé and I stayed at the Missoula Econo Lodge 5/26-27. After driving 9 hours from Oregon and arriving late we were exhausted. We noticed an odd smell on the bed, but were so tired we didn’t think anything of it. The next day we saw that we had slept on a large dried on URINE spot, that had soaked through the comforter, sheets, and all the way down to the mattress. It was obvious they did not even check the bedding before opening the room to us.
When we asked for a new room we were told they had nothing for us. When we asked for a waterproof mattress cover to seal the mattress and new bedding they said they didn’t have that for us either. When we asked for the manager they said they weren’t available. When we asked for a refund because we ended up having to leave and find a CLEAN hotel last minute and had to pay that hotel $200 for the night, we were told to contact the manager on 5/28. After calling today to talk to the manager as we were instructed, THE MANAGER STILL WAS NOT AVAILABLE and they only wanted to offer us points to stay at their nasty, hazardous hotels again. The representative who gave us this “option” was extremely rude on top of it all.
We literally slept in SOMEONE ELSE’S URINE because they can’t do a simple task like cleaning their own hotel rooms between guests and during COVID none the less.

Absolute worst hotel in Missoula.

Charged us for incidental damages that were done even before we got into the room!

We are retired and we do travel frequently and because we used a debit card to pay with, which guarantees the payment to them, I had to pay a 100.00 dollar damage fee, because I might damage there property, I have never had to pay anything like this before and I never will again, I’m 73 years old my wife is 72 what do they think we’re going to do party hardy, and then in the morning there going to come inspect our room and make sure we didn’t damage there property then If we didn’t damage their property they’ll give us the money back in a couple of weeks. Going to send them a bill for using my money, just sleeping here tonight not taking a shower because I might damage their linens or get them wet or their floor, it’s no wonder people can’t afford to stay in a hotel anymore.

No microwave except in deluxe rooms. Stupid. One coffee fixings. Give me a break. Guess you get what you pay for. No effort to go out of their way.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff! Breakfast a little lacking. Need to add some protein, some dark roast coffee & half & half to the menu, because I'm not big on carbs for breakfast and I love great coffee. But overall good hotel/motel. Would stay again!

The front desk check-in lady was very nice and accomadating. However, we got switched rooms because no hot water in our original room. Rooms look fresh painted and new drapes, but everything else is pretty dated. Went down for breakfast and the guy working re-filling coffee was in slippers, looked like he just rolled out of bed, and was angrily cussing about having to clean it up. Grabbed a donut for breakfast to take to room, but it had a hair on it. Will not stay at an Econo Lodge again.

Great check-in. Hot tub wax excellent after a long day. Close to liquor store, casino, and restaurant. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Would stay again.

The rim was clean and quiet. It was easy to get a reservation. Breakfast was adequate but not amazing. A fine place to stay.

Great hotel for the price! Check in and out were very easy and the people working the desk were super nice. Room was nice, clean, and smelled good. There were several options for breakfast, and my whole family had something each they would eat offered. I would stay here again if in the area.

The staff were friendly and the bedding was clean. The rooms were dated and the bathroom was cramped. The continental breakfast was all carbs with the exception of the packaged hard-boiled eggs. If you are looking for a budget hotel this is a decent one. I would probably stay here again if I was looking to save a few dollars.

Sticker shock over "Econo" lodge costing $125 per night! The location was good, easy on/off and close to restaurants and stores. Awesome morning views of mountains. Oh, a new hot tub is desperately needed! The jets do not jet, but more concerning are the 2 fungus circles growing inside the tub! They are large too!

For a budget hotel it's not bad at all. Hot tub, newer beds. It's a good deal.

We travel across the US and stay at different places… this is THE BEST Econo Lodge we have seen. Cozy, clean, Comfy, and friendly.

Rooms are small for $80 a night… But room was clean… Our shower had a leak which puddled the floor… It may just have been my 10 year old not pulling the shower curtain tight. Nice fella on the desk. Ya it was just the kid being a kid… He didn't have the shower curtain pulled tight enough… Some peoples kids… lol.

We booked a room with them, and because they couldn't charge the card they sold the room to somebody else. On top of that we called multiple times to verify, a head of time because it was a 9 hour drive down. No phone call or anything.

I've stayed here a few times. Much nicer than the average Econo Lodge but rooms are also a bit more than average. Easy freeway access and plenty of parking for oversized vehicles (pull in and drive behind the building to avoid the cramped area out front). Elevator is much appreciated when you wind up on the 3rd floor. Rooms are clean, modern, well appointed and (best of all) quiet. Montana allows smoking in Motels but this place is smoke free. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

It was okay. Beds are hard. There was no t. P. On the roll holder. Hot tub closes at 11pm. Free breakfast was pritty good. Pet friendly… just a $10 deposit. I will most likely be back.

This place is okay for a quick one maybe two nights stay, nothing longer or you will see the extreme limitations of this place. Hotel staff cleans daily if you request it or leave the do not disturb sign off. Down side is they don't clean the floors. My room had clumps of dirt from my boots and day three now it's still here I ended up just using a towel to clean it up. That being said there are no microwaves in the rooms. You have to leave your room go to the lobby and use a very tiny microwave that is for the entire hotel, so you may end up waiting your turn. Plus side there are mini fridges in the rooms but the name is exactly what is means very mini. The front desk folks were very nice every day I had no issues with them at all. The hotel just needs to be updated and put microwaves in the rooms and I would gladly give 4 stars and five if they swept the dang rooms out.

Nicest Econo Lodge I've ever stayed in! The room we stayed in was excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Pet friendly, nice rooms, breakfast was decent, nice little pool area.

The staff was very nice and helpful the room was clean. I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for having to pay an extra $10 for a pet. They had free breakfast with several options so there was something for everyone I would definitely stay here again.

Great clean and quite location given the price. Grant it, it's not a 4 star hotel with valet parking, but the morons that post reviews complaining what one gets for a $50 a night location need to go spend 3x the funds for a room and they will find out that you don't get 3x the service.

Everyone here was so friendly and the area is so beautiful! The rooms aren't particularly modern but they make up for it being very clean and comfortable!

Great for the price and a place to stay for the night. It obviously isn't a resort, it's the Econolodge. But the bed was comfortable and there was a free breakfast and friendly staff for way less than anywhere else to stay.

Only stayed for one night but right as we walked in the front door the front desk had put a smile on our face and made us feel welcome by making small conversation other than the room we were in. Very nice hotel room. Didn't get a chance to try your hot tub. Would stay there again.

Our room was clean and quiet. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what we had was pleasant. Good price and convienent location.

Well it started out with a great value and the service was good the hot tub was hot. It all went down hill fast when we woke up to no hot water — this was a huge inconvenience for us as we ride bikes and showers would have been nice to start our day. I realize this wasn't the motels ideal way to start the day either but I feel they could have handled it better then too bad so sad approach.

Comfortable room, great price. Front office staff most helpful. Even suggested parking my motorcycle under the awning in view of the front desk. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Clean rooms, cheap rates. The staff was friendly with the exception of the woman who checked us in, she could have been more amicable. A couple other minor complaints the staff, cleaning personnel had a habit of talking/chatting loudly with each other in the halls, and the motel happened to be renovating the room next to ours while we were there. To be fair our stay was over a Monday and Tuesday, so they probably intended to get it done during the week rather than over a weekend. Continental breakfast was all carbs except for boiled eggs. Hot tub was pleasant.

Always great service, excellent value. Clean, simple accommodations. Reasonable continental breakfast. Really great food at Sean Kelly's Stone of Accord restaurant sharing the parking lot. You can go over and eat in after along day on the road or take it back to your room and enjoy your dinner at a nice little table meant for 2. Seriously, what more do you expect for these great rates? Did I mention Pet Friendly too?

It was nice and friendly, but a little expensive for the low end and outdated rooms/services.

I had inadvertently booked the wrong night on my stay, and when I came to check in and it was discovered that it was the previous night that my reservation was set for, even though it said no vacancy, they graciously found me a room. Although I had to pay for the second room, the manager I contacted through voicemail was extremely helpful, and refunded my first night, Thank you Thank you! Since I had traveled 5 hours for a one night stay, I was so pleased that they were so helpful! The room was clean, comfortable, and customer service was superb! Again, thank you! Customer Service is what this industry is all about…!

It was easy. Clean. Cheap. I would recommend it. Nothing fancy but it met all our needs.

OK place for a short stay, especially for the price. No frills, hotel is a little older but well taken care of. Room was very clean and mattress was decent. Quiet, convenient location right off the highway near gas and several restaurants. Staff was friendly, made some small talk and some dinner recommendations. FYI Breakfast is really simple, just toast donuts cereal and fruit. No waffles, sausage, eggs or anything like that.

Unprofessional staff, rooms are very small, there was a BOOGER on the wall when we arrived, there were charges for the room that we were never told about prior to reservations. Not happy with the econo lodge. I recommend paying the little bit extra to stay in a better place, for it was outdated, felt like I was robbed for my money. Will never go back again!

The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and great, and the staff went way beyond expectations to be friendly and accommodating. The only bad thing was, we got in at 3am after a long drive, and then got woken up at 6:30 by what sounded like a very loud fire alarm coming from the hall. It turned of after a minute or so, and was apparently a false alarm, but then went off again a couple hours later.

Everything was quite nice for the price. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The breakfast was the only thing that was awful.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean this place was. Everyone was super friendly and the rooms were big and comfy. The bed was outstanding! Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Missoula.

Rooms were small. HOWEVER the front desk was superior! The 2 morning men and the lady at night were friendly and were very kind to fill any of our requests whether it be towels or vanilla creamer! They helped us with places to go and provided directions. We had a sudden death in the family and they accommodated our family of 32! We basically took over the lobby and dining area. The staff never told us to leave or to quiet down. They were happy and polite and just let us be together. I will definitely stay there again. I have been to high end Hotels but, I have never seen such warmth and kindness from hotel staff like this. KODOS! Nancy Crowder (Kidder Family)

For 80+ I don't love the price. For 20 more we could have stayed at the Wingate and enjoyed the water slides. With that said — checked in at 9 pm and the women at the desk was amazing. I have 9 mos old twins and a 5 yr old. We had a mountain of junk to get in, and she came out to help. When I took the kids to the hot tub to wind down she helped get us all settled. If I was rating her, 5+!

Not sure if it was the day we were driving through but well over $100 for an econolodge is ridiculous. The room was okay as was the service just not worth the money. It was a plain basic room.

Okay. I have been staying at this econolodge almost weekly for the past month. It has been a great place. I do have only one complaint. On this last stay I was walked in on by house keeping, while I was lying nude on the bed. I was deeply embarrassed and when u brought this to the attention of the front desk person I feel I was brushed off.

Clean bedsheets, dog friendly, good staff and they sell postcards for my collection. Their breakfast was a bit disappointing, though. Stale donuts aren't anyone's ideal meal. All in all, I was very happy with this place.

Asked to see a room. Guy said I don't do that. They do during the day I don't. We have clean rooms and Wi-Fi. If I show you a room there's a chance you say no. It's a waste of my time. What a dick. Stayed at super 8 down the street and it was great.
