Absolutely horrendous! Drove 4 hours and arrive to this place at midnight only to find out that management allowed someone else to check into my room reservation without questioning this strange person leaving me to literally sleep in my vehicle overnight! They even asked me if I knew this person?! Seriously? What does a room reservation mean? And why would you allow someone to take my room without contacting me? Unbelievable and unapologetic!

Quite and comfortable. Hot breakfast could be better, but lots of Pokestops near by for Pokemon Go players.

Great service and very clean. Awesome and nice location. Room was very nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.

Everyone was so nice and the premises we're mostly well kept. The Wi-Fi has some connectivity issues but there is Ethernet I'm the room.

I prepaid for a room of 2 queen beds for my family of 5, 2 weeks in advance. I show up and the desk gives me a single king. I go downstairs and the desk says "no, we don't have 2 queen bed rooms. " I said yes you do because that's what I paid for. She says "sir I promise you we don't have 2 queen beds rooms. " Asked for my money back. Was told no. Customer service never said anything. Basically shrugged me off. Was so upset over everything and not enough room for 5 in 1 bed I left after being there for 30 minutes. Still never heard about getting my money back. Don't stay at this Hampton. It looks nice but problems like this are unbelieveable.

Clean hotel and rooms. No frills. But up to date.

Room and service we definitely up to Hampton Inn par. The ladies at the desk were helpful and the bartender was charismatic. Hotel is easy to find and well lit from the outside.

Very clean, friendly and accommodating staff. We had a room next to fitness room and pool. Perfect for a family. Also in a good area and not far from Zoo.

The best Hampton Inn I’ve stayed in! Just wish parking was easier, the valet was not always there.

This hotel was great! The location made nearly all of Clayton walkable so it was easy to get to restaurants and other places of interest. The people here were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure my stay was as good as it could be. When I was there, they were having an issue with their plumbing and their water pressure was basically non-existent. This was very inconvenient and is the reason for the lower rating. There weren't any concessions made for this either. Still, I'd stay here again but I'd make sure the plumbing issues were sorted first.

We wanted 2 rooms but they didn’t have what we wanted, so instead they offered us a nice suite at the same price that the 2 would’ve been. Friendly staff and clean room, with a wonderful view!

Overall I give it 4 stars. The place is nice, clean, and the staff is very accommodating. It was great being able to use the shuttle instead of losing my parking spot. The pillows are crappy, not as fluffy as they look. There were nail clippings between the beds, which I didn't notice until late my first night. It wasn't vacuumed up the next day either. I told the front desk as check out, the guy didn't seem too worried about it. They have a good breakfast selection.

Nice place if you are used to standard faire major chain. Very clean, nice workout and pool area. Super helpful staff. We accidentally (car navigation) went to the WRONG Hampton, and they cancelled my other stay with no penalty, and honored my other (forest park) rate even though it was cheaper. Breakfast was nice, quiet, several coffee options. Standard continental breakfast with the waffle/oatmeal/fruit/pastries/juice. Nice option in Clayton area for 110-120 range! Only complaint is that the door locks are loud as hell. You can hear people exiting their rooms halfway down the hall. Plus you can’t shut the door in the room without waking everyone else up in the room… or the rooms around you. It’s THAT loud.

Super great staff, super great beds and a great pool/workout room. Basically everything that you'd need from a hotel (plus hot chocolate which is superb). The hotel isn't too far from any attractions in Clayton, and is just a short walk from a ton of restaurants downtown (Crushed Red, Uptown Cafe, etc etc). Definitely a great place to stay if you're looking for a nice hotel.

Staff is always friendly, rooms are always clean, and the extras are awesome… Make you feel like you are at home even when you are not! I stay here all the time when I come here for business.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, relaxing pool and gym and a pretty good breakfast have made for an enjoyable experience.

We stayed for 4 nights over the holiday and loved it. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was easy to figure out, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will certainly be back next time we're in town!

Clean and Beautiful hotel. Nice to see coffee station in the lobby also breakfast was fresh. One think I did not like, the Front desk made a room key for my wife without checking her ID eventhow her name wasnt under the reservation.

Toilet ran all the time, when showered water pressure was low and their was standing water slow to drain Dirt came up from the drain which was gross and made it very slippery. This was a handicap room. No non slip Mat to prevent injuries. Hole in the bathroom shower made me feel so wine was watching me. Shoved a hand towel in the hole. I reported my concerns when I checked out and she said I'm sorry, Hope you e jotted your stay. Very odd. I am hoping with this review the hotel will address the concerns report so they are addressed before soneone gets hurt. Room 415.

It was a very nice hotel room in a good neighborhood. The only negatives were the lack of water pressure in the shower and only street and valet parking were available.

Very nice place located away from the hubbub of the city. Staff persons, from front desk to breakfast lady, were all very pleasant and friendly.

Nice hotel, valet parking. Otherwise you are left to find parking on the street. Not as easy as you think to find the parking spot as the hotel makes it out to be. Otherwise a nice quiet stay.

Nice hotel, but housekeeping seems to struggle a bit. On the first evening there was no hairdryer. Next day housekeeping missed to tidy up our room. When I asked the duty manager in the evening around 7pm to get the room done the response was that housekeeping is not around and all they could do is to send new towels.

From the moment we walked in the lobby to the moment we walked out the door to leave we were greeted happily by each employee we passed. The hospitality was 5 star, especially the bartender, Jill and the front desk attendant, Ashley! Thanks for everything! We will be back.

We have stayed here twice and both times have been great! The valet service is a bit below expectation but everything else makes up for it. Great location with many dining options within walking distance. This is where we will stay every time we visit St. Louis now.

The building is well maintained and the staff is very accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. This is a great deal for such a nice hotel.

Friendly staff, have to pay for parking; 20 a day, a bit expensive.

Very modern; quiet neighborhood; nice bar and small patio; very clean and new; very friendly staff; valet parking in garage available or metered parking on street (free on weekends). Enjoyed the Jr. Suite which was large with King size bed, fold out couch, microwave and fridge. The air conditioner is very strong and right next to bed.

Room was awesome just for overnight! My husband and I really liked it there!

It was a $20 uber ride from St Louis. Way nicer than I expected. Egg-cellent breakfast spread.

I will stay at this hotel every time I have a chance in Clayton. The rooms were very clean, my children enjoyed the salt water pool, the workout rooms was bright with floor to ceiling windows, breakfast was great, location excellent. There is valet parking for $19, but I never had to use it. I parked in the street where the meters were free over night until 8 am and on the weekends. I was always parked right in front of the hotel. The STAFF was AMAZING and went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. Greeted me by name along with my children every time we walked through the lobby. Location is perfect for Washington University, the Galleria Mall, wonderful small shops and restaurants, definitely a place I will return to.

Managed by a New Orleans native. Extremely clean well located well managed new hotel.

Nice newer hotel! Staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. There is a Valet fee of $19 per day but if you get lucky there are meters out front. Weekends the meters are free. The hotel also has a bar which you don't always have at Hamptons. Great gym facility. Also it's in a good area near restaurants, shops, etc.

This place is Great… Straight Baller for the price… Pimp ass fire pit with big comfy chairs right on the street, the perfect after set for people too damned old & hongry for after sets… Big ups to Carlton, Nellie, and Biggie Urkel… We come back to the Lou, we stayin' witchu… O_o.
