Great location for business travelers to the many offices nearby. Close to a number of good Korean restaurants. Recently renovated, v though definitely not sparkling brand new. Small gym, decent pool. Aging sauna and whirlpool. Ample parking. Big rooms, good beds. On the river, and some rooms look out on greenspace. Got access to nature trails.

This hotel was very nice and clean. I personally love how it was decorated. (The hotel interior and room). The staff were very friendly. My only complaint is the bed is right in front of the door which was awkward because our neighbors kept coming in and out of their room all night and how the rooms were situated, the doors were literally right next to each other. So, that was a little frustrating, and the beds could be a bit more comfortable. Overall, this was a pleasant experience.

Top quality in the appearance outside and inside. The rooms are very nice. The layout is a bit odd given the sink area has a wall that does not go to the ceiling. What this does is allow light into the sleeping area. This is not a problem if you travel alone. The bathroom is very tight. It's hard to enter the bathroom and close the door. Room service is great! The food is great!

I have stayed at this hotel at least once per year for the last 7 or 8 years. It is newly remodeled and quite nice. The staff is always courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent, and the hotel has one of the best bar atmospheres of any hotel I've stayed in. The location isn't great if you like staying in hotels with walking distance to local attractions. However, if you are here for a meeting or conference taking place in the hotel or at a local business within a short drive, this is a nice place to stay.

Very quiet, clean and great rooms. Good location near business areas and great local restaurants. Breakfast is great and nice bar.

Neat. Organized. Great for large events, family or corporate. Its a Hilton, its a getaway from the city life. Its a change of scenery. Its great. They do get booked up too fast to say exactly in one word, so book in advance. If you commute for work a lot, this place is great for stretching your legs and getting some one on one time with nature. You can get away from your busy suburban life here with your spouse or significant other. The riverfront views are pretty amazing and calming for the over occupied minds. It deserves 5 stars for sure.

The Hilton Chicago/Northbrook was a great venue to host my real estate brokerage's event. Quite accessible, too. Hotel itself was real clean, staff was real polite. Nice!

I spent one night at this property. I had a King room, which was very clean. While the hotel/room design is a bit dated, it is entirely functional. The bathroom layout is interesting with a small tub/toilet room, and then a 7 foot tall wall separating the sink area from the room. The furniture is also dated, but in good repair. The Wi-Fi signal was good and the speed was fine. The concierge lounge was very nice with a good evening reception. There is a nice trail adjacent to the hotel (Des Plaines River Trail). Definitely would stay here again.

Room was very clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and bar had good selections. The food and drinks were good. I definitely would stay again, if back in the area.

Very old room furnishings. I felt like I was walking into a room in the 1990s. Bathroom was updated but tiny. Room service was good but slow. Parking is easy. Very reasonable rates at a good location for my work meeting. Overall okay… the rooms are just in desperate need of a refresh.

Clean, bright. The pool was a lot of fun for my kids. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered room service which was also good. They matched the going rate on Orbitz for me. Recommended!

Food was incredible! Got there pretty early so I didn't wait at all and had the service basically to my own table. They were available and helpful without being nosy. Setup was nice and even the music was a good mix over the PA. Only recommendation is that they add non-alcoholic drink selection to the menu.

Great hotel with a great restaurant. The desk really made us feel welcomed and even offers diamond members a free appetizer down at the restaurant. The appetizers are substantial and can definitely fill you up, too. Rooms were nice as was the bathroom.

Visited the hotel for their Sunday Champagne brunch. The food selection was huge with a lot of seafood. The service was great, as usual.

Nice looking lobby, friendly front desk staff, and the exercise room has nice equipment. Strange layout, have to walk forever to get anywhere, and it's not obvious where to go without reading signs. Executive lounge had ok breakfast, better than some hotels in this tier. Not much to walk to from here, but the hotel bar is OK. Rooms are dated but mine was clean and smelled good.

Just get the buffet for breakfast. I ordered an omelette and it was incredibly undercooked and tasted like it was cooked in a dirty pan. They took away the complimentary coffee at about 9:30. Had to buy coffee after that. "Hot" tub was lukewarm at best. Ordered room service and 2 of the items I ordered off the menu were no longer available. It took them 15 minutes to notify me 1 of the items weren't available. Room service lady was very kind.

This is a gorgeous property near the airport. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with down pillows and duvet and quality linens. Service was very good and all the employees I had contact with were gracious. Both times I've stayed though, check-in has taken a very long time, at least 20-30 min. This time they were having computer problems. The other issue is a lack of available luggage carts for check out. Both stays it took me a full 30 minutes find my own luggage cart for checkout. Overall, a wonderful stay if you're not in a hurry.

This property was clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Room was a good size and had both a microwave and fridge. Pool was oddly small and shallow. I was very disappointed to discover that the fancy restaurant does not offer any kind of food service for breakfast at 10 a. M. On a Sunday (the breakfast bar closes at 9:30, so if you sleep in, you go hungry).

The location was great since we were attending a wedding down the road at the Grove! The room was perfect. I like having a couch in the room to have another place to sit besides just on the bed. Good Wi-Fi once we got logged in. Lots of parking available.

If using a credit card, make sure they charge you correctly from the beginning. We were part of a wedding group and we're only suppose to pay for 2 out of the 4 days, they charged us for all 4 plus a $50 daily hold charge. The person we split the room with was still charged the 2 days as well. Once we got that fixed, when we went to check out the next day it showed 2 charges for 2 days on my card. As for the rooms, they were big, but the beds were too soft and the bathroom was so small that you basically had to stand in the toilet to open and close the door. While down in the pool we ran out of towels twice and it took calling them, waiting 5-10 mins, then another group calling them to get more. And the breakfast/lunch you have to pay for is Hilton prices, but not quality. I'd honestly have rather stayed at the Motel 6 down the street. We had stayed at Best Westerns the whole way there and back from CA to IL with no issues, a great breakfast included, and a little cheaper.

Great service, amenities and lodging. One complaint: On Sunday morning, the restaurant doesn't open until 11:00 am. What is one to do? Order from room service or go out to eat. We like to get out of the room for breakfast, so we went out to eat. I noticed other disgruntled people complaining about no breakfast in the restaurant, not even a coffee pot out (I hate room coffee) to appease. I don't know what schedule the restaurant follows on days other than Sundays. Besides this inconvenience, a great experience.

The check in process was very quick and easy. All of the staff were all very accommodating. We had stayed there for a wedding and they went about and beyond to provide the bride, groom, and the bridal with all the necessities. They even provided a shuttle for us to and from the venue. The shuttle driver was very nice and prompt. Overall we had a great experience staying here and would come back.

Love the service in the bar area. Amazing service from the darling Karla. I dunno where you guys got her but she is a definite keeper. Created a unique experience and made me not want to leave. Oh and her take on cocktails I tell you was just fascinating. If you are in the lobby area and decide to have a drink ask for it to be by Karla. Will be back 10 stars here to this one.

It is a very nice hotel. Only complaint is that it is $10.95 for a continental breakfast. It is fine if you aren't going to offer a breakfast, but don't charge $11 for a breakfast I can buy at a gas station.

Lunch buffet was horrendous and not worth the money. Staff was nice but food was really lacking restaurant quality.

Location was convenient to the executive airport. Rooms were clean but dated. On site restaurant was overpriced, the bar had friendly staff and okay pub food though.

Great Job. Very clean. Resturant has awesome food. Calamari was our favorite part. Rooms were very modern and upscale.

Great staff, clean and inviting venue. I' ve stayed here four times and always leave relaxed and refreshed. Location is quiet and well landscaped and maintained. One of few I'd recommend for a simple get away.

Good hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Went here for a New Year's Eve Event. That was a lot of fun and would definitely go back or recommend to someone else. Deal included appetizers, drinks, dinner, dancing and a room.

I held a business meeting there a few weeks ago for my company. Bill Tingle was the event coordinator (I don't know his exact title, but he was very helpful and kind) and he did a great job. The rooms were a tiny bit dated but the hotel was first-rate, parking was free, the meeting room was better than expected, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I don't give as many compliments as I do complaints, so I want to make a point to commend good work. I strongly recommend them for a meeting or visit.

I was the MOH for a wedding at this Hilton location and it was the most disappointing, disrespectful experience for my bride. I am near tears writing this review and hope you seriously reconsider choosing this for your special night. Here are just a few things they completely messed up on… `1. They were 45 minutes late getting the reception room ready due to a previous event taking place that the mother of the bride had kindly asked not to end so close to the time the reception was to start 2. During this waiting time, they closed the bars serving the guests AND THEN refused to keep the bar open later in the evening to compensate for their mistake 3. The beef tenderloin was dry and potatoes were cold because they were late to seat us 4. The bride had requested a stage for the band, which was never set up 5. Many of the tables did not get water or requested wine refills throughout the night 6. The panels around the dance floor came off midway through the night, causing a fall hazard and one of the bride's aunts cut her foot on the sharp corner 7. The brother of the bride's girlfriend has a food allergy and asked if the salad was the correct one before eating it. They reassured her it was, however, came running back 5 minutes later after she had had a bite and felt her tongue swell, that it was not. She spent the rest of the night in bed with a stomach ache 7.

HILTON HOSPITALITY – NOT AVAILABLE IN NORTHBROOK, IL While attending what should have been a beautifully orchestrated wedding celebration for my niece at The Hilton Chicago/Northbrook, I experienced complete chaos and from check-in to check-out. Thankfully, the bride and groom were surrounded by loving family and friends to help them through the disappointment. As the Hilton Chicago/Northbrook does not offer customer care surveys, I have decided to create my own as follows: Check-in: Rooms not ready until 1 hour after listed check in time. Front Desk Staff insisted my credit card was declined (embarrassing). However after contacting my credit card company, an attempted charge from Hilton had never happened. After returning to the front desk, I now have 2 charges pending – as do other guests. Room Assignments: Wedding guests were to be in a block of rooms; however were placed on different floors and in different towers. Accommodations: Dirt and mold found in bathrooms, wallpaper peeling off the walls, and holes in carpet were found in multiple rooms. Mechanicals: Ice and vending machines were not in working order on most floors. Two of the four elevators servicing both towers were out of service causing up to a 15 minute wait for an elevator. Stairs were available, but difficult for elderly guests to navigate down 8 stories. Cocktail Hour: Beverages outlined in the event contract were not available to guests.

Extremely unprofessional front desk. Trolleys are always missing. Front desk provides no help saying bell boy is also the bus driver. There are 3 people standing in the front desk and they do not want to move an inch. Even asking for water as Hilton Honors member was a problem. Stayed here 5 night and all I can say it is a poor run hotel.
