Awesome staff and decent rooms. Had to stay over night because of a canceled flight but had an overall good experience. Front desk staff were really helpful and friendly.

The bed was extremely comfortable. Decor in the conference room was… less than aethestically pleasing. Restaurant was expensive, even with the discount my conference received and the food wasn't great. Room was fine although I didn't like the LED light bulbs (I like the softer yellow light). We had to wait over 10 minutes to check in because there was only one person at the front desk. The courtyard with the pool was nice and I'm sure I would have been out there had it been warmer weather.

The hotel was great. The staff were nice, and the room was clean. We didn't get to swim in the pool because it stormed most of the time we were there.

Our first night was a total fiasco and nothing was done by hotel management until… we're still waiting. We called the corporate number and they noted it and a complaint was sent to the hotel manager and said we should be hearing from a manager by the next day… but nothing. To kick off our stay we were double charged. Spent just over an hour and a half attempting to get this remedied and had to deal with a rude front desk. Then we got back from dinner AC wasn't working correctly (it was hot that day), so coming into a nice cool room would have been one of those nice amenities that we're paying for in a nice HOTEL. We ended up moving rooms (inconvenient), while we are exhausted, then to top it off the water barely trickles from the faucet. Simply put, there are many other places we should have stayed. Marriott was one with comparable prices.

Absolutely love this hotel! Am always greeted by a warm and friendly staff. Terri always does an amazing job taking care of me. The rooms are always consistently clean and there is never any issues. I do spend a lot of time at this hotel when traveling for business and I highly recommend staying here. A + rating in my books!

Room was clean and pleasant. Very quiet. Only issue was that the kitchen substituted spinach for kale, and I have a kidney condition that can't handle oxalic acid… so they really should have checked first. And no discount or apology for having to wait twice as long for my dinner, either. I'd stay there again but wouldn't eat at the restaurant.

A good location with easy access from many directions. I found the rooms were comfortable but had a fair bit of wear (leaky faucet, plugged drain, bubbling or peeling paint). It was quiet even with guests next door and the breakfast is well stocked and has something for everyone. The staff are excellent and quick take care issues. The restaurant is decent but recently changed menus and the selection has suffered. I would stay again, all things considered.

Staying at this location for multiple weeks for business. Couldn't have picked a better place to do so. Friendly staff, comfy bed… And that doesn't even take into account the amazing breakfast they have every day, which goes above and beyond the typical bagel and cream cheese. Definitely picked the right place to stay, I am very happy with my decision.

Spend a lot of money to stay here, though apparently the festival I was in town for had a special rate I was not made privy to, until after the fact. The website was proudly promoting a new heated pool, which was empty, until the second night, which was filled with a garden hose. The bed was very comfy, but the bathroom was the least to be desired. Toilet constantly running, the water temp in the shower fluctuated between freezing then to scalding then back to freezing. Other than a comfortable bed and the fact the hotel was swarming with rock stars, the stay was less than satisfying.

The bed was very comfortable and the AC system worked well. Feels a bit dated but otherwise comfortable. One of the only hotels I've been to that has a good functional iron for clothes. However, pressure in the shower was not very good. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

Room was fine, yet the morning we were set to check out by 11 someone tried to enter our room with a master key! If it wasn't for the chain lock they would have just walked in on us! After calling the front desk to let them know they said they had no idea how that would have happened. When checking out they said a manager would call later that day. Now four days later and no call or apology. Stay somewhere else if you value privacy and safety.

I had two rooms. The first room we went in looked like the cleaning staff had not got to it. The front desk was able to reassign two rooms to my group and put the rooms next to each other. Breakfast was not included in our stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious though, and the wait staff friendly. The rooms had a fridge and microwave which came in handy as my family loves bringing food back from Chinatown. The hotel is a 15 minute drive from the airport, and about a 40 minute drive to downtown.

Just ok. Rooms are clean enough. Service just right. Breakfast not free / not price inclusive and that was a big deal for me.

I give 5 stars and if I had more were given all the staff of those who grab the toilet and Asta La Cosina has the detail to give the uesped the best service when they go to restore recommend that you attend Mr. Leonel is a fine person and a being Amazing human? Flight was cancelled, the airline purchase me a night so I was expecting some cheap hotel but when arrived I was impressed. Clean friendly but not sure about price as I didn't pay for it.

The bed was big and comfortable & the room was beautifully decorated. It is conveniently located and the shuttle was great. I had all I needed for my stay here.

My stay at this hotel was pretty good. There is a restaurant just outside the main gate and a store. The staff did everything possible to make my stay here comfortable.

Overall average hotel. A bit outdated, but clean. I had issues with the drain in my shower not draining as well as inconsistent hot water. The breakfast and shuttle service were good.

It's a bit old fashion hotel, and the bed were too soft… I think it needs to be replaced. But everything else is really good.

IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD! I will never ever come back here again. Our bathroom was filthy. The bath tub was disgusting. The bed sheets were not 100% clean. They seem as if they were used by the previous guest before us. Half the TV channels did not work. When you call down to the receptionist, they don't care. Always got an attitude. The only time I did not have an attitude with the receptionist was during check in. When we checked out, 2 days after I noticed an absurd charge on my statement for an extra $250. I went to the hotel to get answers and they told me it was a smoking charge. Neither one of us were smokers and no one smoked in the room. They told me I can speak with the manager. Of course they weren't there that day. I called several times to speak to the manager, never got a call back. Went back almost daily to speak to the "manager" they were never there. I demanded they show me proof. Of course they couldn't. Never once spoke to or saw a manager. Never got a refund. This place only wants to screw you out of money. And you will never get it back. In my opinion they are thiefs. Horrible service. Horrible management. Horrible house keeping. Dirty rooms. Do yourself a favor and save your money. The motel 6 down the street is better.

Decent hotel with good amenities. I would recommend this hotel for the price. The room size was moderate. Note that this hotel does not serve free breakfast but they do have paid options available.

Get coupons for your breakfast, otherwise it is a little more than 10 dollars. Breakfast is good. First room I had had terrible smell so I had to change it. Not all the rooms have bathtub. So all for room with bathtub if you want one. It's got a bar. Room is clean, very acceptable. Front desk is very nice too.

Rooms are good sized, and the staff always attentive and knowledgeable local events and places to go/see. The food in the restaraunt is great, as well. Have stayed here 6 weeks in as many months and will gladly come back again.

Mostly clean rooms, updated but small workout room, large outdoor pool area. The breakfast is good, the bar and restaurant is average at best. Not the greatest location as you have nothing within walking distance.

It was great staying at Crowne Plaza, North Brook. Rooms were clean. Room services were very responsive. Complimentary breakfast was good enough. Highly recommend staying here.

Service: (1 out of 5) — Spoke with hotel staff about shuttle from airport and waited an hour with multiple Crown Plaza Northbrook shuttles passing by us. When we arrived the manager, Rob — who attempts to sound like he cares — tried to convince us it was our fault. Once we were finally able to check in, we received a room that was already occupied, then received a bad set of keys to our room, all requiring three trips to the front desk. Just an unprofessional experience all around. Room/Amenities: (3 out of 5) — About what you'd expect from a budget "airport" hotel. Decor could use a good refresh, especially dark brown carpets that visually shrinks the room and hallways. Shower was good.

Great service, bar food was awesome, clean rooms but some very thin walls. I feel like I can hear every conversation 3 rooms down.

I stay at the Northbrook Crowne Plaza once a month for work. The hotel has always been a nice stay in my opinion. It's close to Ohare airport, clean, and well managed.

Talk about attention to detail, check. They do their best to accommodate your needs and make your stay comfortable. This is my second time staying here and I returned because the service and the establishment was better than I anticipated. The hotel is $$$ pricy so get prepared to spend a higher then average rate for your stay.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza for work. Room was very good as was breakfast. Quite a nice area with fire pits beside the pool.

If I could give zero stars I would! Imagine your child ends up dead in a freezer at a hotel and they offer nothing to help figure out how it happened. This hotel is not a safe place to lay your head. They are covering up a murder and this is not a place you want to stay if you're looking to enjoy a vacation.

Was there for a work function. Everything seemed to function smoothly and we had a nice time. A. C. Was too high in the lecture hall.

This is a nice venue for a small conference. The staff was very friendly and effective, but the chairs and seating arrangements were pretty clunky. Made for a somewhat uncomfortable time sitting and listening to talks.

I got the pizza package. Very disappointed in the free pizza with the extra money paid for the room. Would have better to get a $20 gift card to pizza hut then the food served at the restaurant. Dont waste your money on the upgrade. Other than that the nights sleep was decent nothing special.

I reserved a room with 2 beds, a balcony and breakfast. I was first told they didn't have balcony rooms. Then I was told they could give me a balcony but only with a king bed. Breakfast was not included and there was no spa as advertised. There were signs for a spa but they don't have one. Then to top it all off they wanted to increase the amount I had reserved by $150. The extra pillows and towels we're not supplied. There was food on the bathroom ceiling. The roll pillow was filthy and there were bugs in the room. I will never again stay at a Crowne Plaza! I am extremely upset with the accommodations and lack of courtesy and respect from this hotel.

Old, but adequate. Clean enough, but not enough plugs and no breakfast provided. My key demagnetized one night into our three night stay. Only pool is outdoors, but the fitness room was good. I would probably look elsewhere next time.

Got there at 11:00 pm Monday night and they didn't have my reservation. The first room they gave me that night had people already staying in the room. I opened the door and TV was on, clothes everywhere and beds had been slept in. Went back to from desk and they gave me a different room. Next day they wanted me to switch rooms again so I had to pack up all my stuff to go to my 3rd room in 2 days. When I tried to open the room the key wouldn't work so I had to go back to the front desk AGAIN and I told them to give me another room because I didn't want to deal with any crap again. So to summarize, within 2 days I went to 4 different rooms and when I asked if they would give me anything for that the lady just stared at me and said "what do you mean". I asked if I could get a free meal out of all the hassle and she said NO! The staff of mostly friendly but just very incompetent.

The hotel was inconveniently far away from the airport. Which wouldn't be a problem, but there were lots of other guests (like me) who were sent there for overnight because of flight delays. We passed a lot of other hotels on the 25 minute drive there. The shuttles in the morning left at large intervals. It was either get up at 5 in the morning and get to your flight 4 hours early or get up and 9 in the morning and risk being late. If the shuttle had left two hours later (my flight was at 10 and I had to take the shuttle at 6), I would've gotten enough sleep, had time to eat breakfast, and would've still gotten to the gate at a good time. Other than that the rooms were alright. Temperature controls weren't very cooperative. I'd set it to 73 then I'd come back and it automatically went to 69. Beds were well made. Bathroom was clean. Shower worked fine. My wake up calls were made on time and extra effort was put to make sure everyone made it to their shuttle on time. Lack of plugs was annoying. One was near the window on the other side of the room, and the other was behind the night stand which I had to push out of the way. I ended up leaving my charger there since it was in such an obscure location and I didn't even bother to check there. It was good for a free hotel, but that's it.

Great comfortable rooms. One of the best hotel restaurants I've been to. Wi-Fi needs some work. Terrible reception. Not usable with it always cutting out or interrupting my work. Its hard to do anything like checking emails and working with cloud storage. I don't understand why there can't be a wired connection as an alternate for poor reception. Cell signal isnt much better so tethering isnt a good option either. If the Wi-Fi worked better I'd probably mark this place as first choice when I come back to the area.

The front desk ladies and shuttle gentlemen have all been more than accommodating. The breakfast was one of the best I have seen on my travels and I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Thanks again for the great stay!

My visit was good. I think the hotel would benefit from paying more attention to little details bc they are a very busy hotel. Ex. Making sure everything works in the room. Also, a lot of ppl stay at your hotel for business reasons, but the Wi-Fi connection is poor. Investing in that would be a game changer in my book. That issue, would cause me to change hotels bc I need to be able to work from my hotel room. Staff is always kind.

Came here for a training seminar. The place was clean and had professional staff. The lunch buffet was excellent. Our banquet room was stocked with a good variety of snacks and drinks throughout the day. The restaurant and bar looked great but didn't have time to try.

Overnight staff was aggressively rude … rooms were nice enough but there was a mess in the hall and no one was on staff that would clean it … disgusting … I only gave them one star because that was the lowest available. Wouldn't advise anyone to stay there … at least not if you want to enjoy your time …

Room was clean, near the entrance and exits and the food was fairly good. For a one night private event it was a nice place to stay at. Only problem was the heat, it felt like it went out in the room overnight.

Awesome experience! Huge and clean beds everyday. The breakfast bar is the best I've ever had. Best customer service. They reponded to all of my requests very promptly. Room service was wonderful and don't forget about the pizza — so good! The best is the bar downstairs with the super friendly and funny bartender, Ramon. All the staff is friendly and always ready to assist you whether you need to open a wine bottle or get some razors. This place was definitely memorable and one of my favorites hotels by far! And did I mention how mich culture this hotel has? I love it! Thank you for everything!

I personally had a great experience at this hotel. I was there on a business trip for 9 days and my room was always clean, everything worked properly and the customer service was great. The bar has kareoke night and they have decent drinks. The food in the restaurant was also good. They also have a shuttle that takes you and picks you up at nearby places. I would definitely stay again.
