This review will not be about the club but the event they handled. 7/4/18 Evening Event Parking. They were parking cars for 10$ and the parking was convenient. Everything looked good. All started when everyone wanted to go home and we had to sit in the car at the parking lot for about 40 minutes! And we had a 6 month baby on the board. Staff who took money for parking WAS NOT HELPFUL AT ALL, and were pointing at one police guy who was at the intersection alone, and wouldn't even help him. Cars were let go very rarely, for this size of a parking lot 40 min it is unacceptable! If you taking money from people for the parking it has to be a plan how to get them out even at a heavy traffic. Would not recommend to park here, during any event, unless you have extra 40+ minutes to an hour to sit in you car.

Clean, cozy and familiar. Everyone there was warm and welcoming. Booked one of their 21 rooms for a one night stay. Arrived about quarter till 9 in the evening and Bob made sure I was checked in quickly so my guest and I could make it to the grill restaraunt before it closed at 9. They are open 7am to 9pm and allowed us to stay until about 930. Glen club is home to the Illinois golf Hall of Fame and I thought all of the memorabilia, pictures and awards added an interesting touch. The room had a comfy King sized bed. I also liked the Aveda toiletries which included a toothbrush and small toothpaste. Unfortunately I had to leave early the next morning and couldn't enjoy the continental breakfast that goes from 6:30 to 10, or the highly recommended golf course. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in the Glenview area. I booked it through the hotel tonight app.

Was there for a golf event and I must say, the club was lovely. From right when you walk in, the grounds are beautifully kept, a feeling which only grew on the course. The staff was extremely kind and went out of their way to accommodate guests. Overall, it was a wonderful visit and I highly recommend it.

The Glen club is a beautiful golf course with rolling fairways. Very challenging for players like me. The clubhouse is great for hosting private events too. I've been to a few fund raisers and seminars here and the service and amenities have always been top notch. I highly recommend their stay and play package too.

Attended for a fundraising gala. The food and service were mediocre. The creme brulee was not cooked all the way and people at the table were waiting for almost 15 minutes for their food while others had already been served. The room is also on the small side, best for events with less than 100 guests if you want to have a dance floor.

Great food with good service. Was here for a banquet and had a great time. Not a huge room, but everything was very nice.

Aside from waiting around for 10 min for the check-in guy after calling in with an ETA on my arrival, and the reservation system not updating (club's fault) fast enough complicating finding our reservation we made online… The room, and check-in attendant made up for it. He gave us a room as I showed him the one I made on my phone, and assured us he would get the paper work figured out before our check out in the morning. Cool place to stay.

The Glen Club is home to an excellent Tom Fazio designed parkland layout that contains a wealth of wonderfully crafted, memorable and challenging holes. Fazio's sculpting of the course involved the creation of dramatic elevation changes – up to 40 feet in some cases, as well as the addition of mature trees, meandering lakes and flowing streams. 75 acres of prairie grass now flows through the layout.

Great hotel. Very new and clean. Nice sized room and comfortable bed. Good location. Friendly staff. Quiet good prices.

Great public golf course. A Tom Fazio designed course. Plus it is right by the Glen so you can get great dinner and drinks after a long round in the sun. I try and play here once a month with my wife. She plays regularly with her friends. Sometimes it is hard to believe it is a public course it is so well kept and nice! I only with my golf game was better so I could enjoy more than just the great scenery! Very reasonable price for the quality. Great bang for your buck! Don't miss this public course if you have tried the others in the area like Wilmette or Winnetka. This course is on par or better than those courses (my opinion only of course, full disclosure: I love both those courses as well)

We are having our wedding here. It is amazing with the amount of service they provide. Michael is the best coordinator and is not trying to up-sell you. He wants your day to be everything you expect — perfect. He provides recommendations that make sense and is very prompt in replying to your questions/emails. Better book quickly because this place fills up ASAP. The bridal suite is huge, and has an awesome balcony. We can't wait to get married here! They are very accommodating with food tasting, supplying a wedding cake vendor (included in the price), and are working to make our 140 guests feel comfortable. Not to mention they can support a 12 piece swing band! June 1st, 2018 — here we come!

$100 + is a hefty price-tag, but the course is of a championship caliber. Tricky, quick greens combined with a smattering of water hazards makes this a hard course for the average golfer. Better golfers will appreciate the challenge, and the average golfer will appreciate the course layout, conditioning and country-club feel. Staff was extremely polite and professional, and our starter was great. Pace of play is enforced, something I really appreciate as an ex-ranger. The group in front of us slowed down play, and were subsequently asked to skip a hole. We also received a personal apology from the ranger, and pace of play was great after that.

Very nice and elegant, great location to host a company party or personal party staff was very helpful and kind, food was delicious, bartenders were great. Hotel room was nice and cozy would definitely recommend this place.

Staff is warm and welcoming. The menu is good and the food is very good. We are never disappointed here. The ambience is great year round.

It was a wonderful venue, plenty of parking easy to find. The staff was very helpful and polite. The food was delicious and cooked just right. I would completely recommend hosting any company gatherings here.

I have only been to The Glen Club twice for company holiday party. The food there were always good and very tasty. You can tell they were prepared with fresh ingredients. The staffs were very friendly. The only thing I can't agree on is that they don't let you to take the leftover food even though you have paid for them. It's such a watse. I wish they would give them to the people in need but highly doubt it though.

Very nice under the radar find. Will definitely stay here again. The rooms appeared bigger in the pictures.

Rooms are alright. Clean and simple. Wouldnt go as far to say that it's amazing, but it serves it's purpose. Not being much of a golfer I think I can't really speak for the people that are part of the club.

Beautiful resort, with spacious ballroom perfect for large business meetings. Golf-themed decor throughout venue.

Dining room quiet and decorated nicely. Service very, very slow and the kitchen could use some instruction on preparation also. Had to ask for more butter repeatedly, ordered "blackened" shrimp tacos on corn tortillas. Someone in the kitchen does NOT know how to blacken apparently, as these shrimp were anything but. AND they were served on flour tortillas. I had to ask for the hot sauce that I specified when I ordered the blackened shrimp on corn tortillas. Perhaps because no one in my party of 5 is a member? Not sure.

The staff is wonderful. It's become a very comfortable, place for us (played music for an event) where the members welcome, us and the staff takes excellent care of us.

We were there for a luncheon party on a Sunday. The service was impeccable and the food amazing! very clean and open atmosphere with huge windows for great light. Highly recommended!

Nice location. Easily accessible. Great views of the course. Nice patio and ballroom. A little small.

Excellent, pro-level course. Good facilities with a superior clubhouse restaurant. Staff is very good. Golf is a bit pricey for the value but a good experience overall.

Went there for a wedding. The venue was very elegant and the service was excellent. The outdoor ceremony site was protected with shade so it wasn't unbearably hot. It was a beautiful wedding.

It was a nice place and was worth the short wait.

The Glen Club is the Best place to stay in Glenview. Great rooms and food is fabulous. And of course the golf course is one of the best.

A very nice upscale place. I definetely enjoyed my experience there and had a wonderful time with friends.

Wonderful visit to the Glen club. Great facility with a bustling night life and plenty to do.

The flowers were lovely. The birds were chirping. The women were beautiful, especially the medically enhanced women. Also, ambiance.
