We stay here every time we come to Champaign-Urbana. We love it. Impeccable customer service, beautiful rooms with all the amenities, including updated tech. Tesla charging, fantastic location, excellent restaurant— this place has it all. And on race weekend? The BEST place to stay. You can see the starting line from your hotel window! I literally roll out of bed, throw on my race gear and stroll outside to the starting line.

This is one of the most team/bus friendly hotels ever! As a driver, I was greeted at the front door by name, drirected to exactly where to park. My room was close to where we parked. Plenty of room to maneuver. Team accessibility to buses directly outside side door. Access to plug buses in during cold weather. They thought of everything little thing to make our stay wonderful. What might seem not important to most guests, totally impressed. Thank you.

The room was gorgeous and front desk accommodating.

Super helpful for a nursing and pumping mom attending a conference — the spa room is perfect, the staff provided a pumping mom's goodie bag, and offered for me to store milk in their refrigerator! I've used it a number of times to pump and the staff are always very helpful and accommodating to open the space for me.

I came here for a group interview, and I've been here before for a larger gathering. It's very clean and nice and easy to find where I needed to go. Helpful staff and it's always nice to have a coffee shop wherever you are :)

Rooms were very clean and spacious. Complimentary water bottles was a nice. The continental breakfast wasn't that great of a variety. Easy walking distance to assembly Hall/memorial stadium. Free parking at the hotel.

This is a great venue. The staff are extremely attentive and accommodating. I attend conferences here a few times a year and am part of a group who host conferences 6 times a year. They have very good audio visual support and laptops for presenters to use. Test equipment and furnishings are all up to date. The food service staff work closely with you to ensure your needs are met. This includes accommodating food allergy needs. Overall I am very pleased with my experiences!

We just stopped in to check out a wedding venue, and we were amazed by the service and attention to detail! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We didn't even have an appointment, but the wedding coordinator was pleased to meet with us and give us a tour of the facility. Unfortunately, our date was taken, but this place is so beautiful and the service was so excellent that we are considering changing our date!

Held a silent auction to raise money for family in crisis. The Ihotel was so wonderful donating a ball room for the event! It is so awesome they did this, they even provided tables, table clothes, and the staff is always very professional and so nice.

While I have not used the hotel side, the conference side is top notch! Staff are very respectful and responsive. Everything is kept clean and neat. A great addition to the community! When catering, they do great foo and accommodate special needs.

I held a professional event for the college here, and it was very nice. The conference area is beautiful, and gave a very professional feel. The food was exceptional, and all our guests were very happy.

I would highly recommend this hotel! Great customer service when just getting out of your car on arrival. Registering was easy and everyone was very friendly. The staff made every person feel important. Stopped at the bar just before closing time and the bartender never made you feel in a hurry. Give it a try you won’t regret it!

This was my first time visiting Champaign, IL. I had an event here. I was very impressed with the layout of the event center and the rooms. I was not impressed by the powerful farm smell outside. A bit nauseating. The signs around the space are also a little confusing in finding where you need to park, but once inside it is easy to navigate. Would be great if they had an expanded business center and/or commissary.

The staff went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Rooms were very clean and set up nice. We went to a wedding reception there staff and food were great! Rooms were large. Overall amazing experience.

The hotel is very nice and had a lot of amenities. The staff is really helpful and they had a shuttle for people who were attending conferences on the campus. The breakfast is nice but not a lot of stuff to choose from. However the breakfast is all healthy food options! Which was a plus for me. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The elevators were also very fast and I never had to wait long to get on one. However, there was one instance in which I felt uncomfortable with the front desk staff. I was walking in and I they had strange looks on their faces and as I enter they gave me suspicious looks. As I turned the corner to go to the elevator one of the men from the desk came around the corner and stopped and looked at me strangely. I then turned back around. I'm not sure why this happened but it made me uncomfortable and I wasn't sure why it happened. Other than that, the hotel was great.

I was there for a year end banquet to celebrate professional awards. The service and food were good. It would have been nice if there had been a vegan protein option.

I went to the I Hotel for two special events. The I Hotel staff and the ballrooms over there ensure that any experience is a memorable one. To the best of my knowledge, the food at one of the events and the drinks at both events were catered by the staff, and I was satisfied with the service they provided. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to any college organization looking to host special events over there, especially since the hotel is located near campus.

I work for a company that frequently hosts events at the I Hotel. The staff is always great and we have everything we need. The conference rooms have plenty of space and necessary equipment. They make hosting events easy.

Great space for events, with good catering services. I've actually been to the I Hotel for numerous events, and have always had a good time. The spaces are well separated and have decent soundproofing. For instance, the last time I was there, a wedding reception was going on next to the event I was attending, and we could not hear their event at all. Food from their catering service had been good, too.

I was there for a formal social event that included open bar and food. The wait staff were incredible. They kept up with drinks and taking away plates. Everything was extremely clean including their restrooms. The staff outside the event were helpful and and extraordinarily friendly. The food was delicious. My only complainy is while they had a lot of options on alcohol their "bartenders" did not know how to make almost any drinks aside for a rum and coke. They did take guidance well if you knew how to make the drink you were requesting. It was a lovely place. I would definitely recommend.

I was at the I Hotel for a company holiday party. The food was great, the drinks were awesome, and the staff was excellent. Several projectors were set up for the event for various photos and even karaoke. The atmosphere at the hotel appeared very upscale. Even the restrooms were spotless. Would definitely go there again.

The venue was really nice. The location is easy to find. The place was nicely lit and the staff were very helpful for the event. The food was a lot better than it her hotels I've been to. The facilities we're kept very clean too.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short walk to the university and stadiums. Staff very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms are impeccably clean, with many small details that make the stay enjoyable. Beds are wonderful. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, much better than average fare. Highly recommended.

The location is easy to get to. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. The event staff were both friendly and polite. Food was fantastic! I would certainly come to an event here again.

Great rooms for a decent price, especially if you're going to an event at the State Farm Center next door. The room we had was a double queen and had now then enough space for the 4 of us. Bathrooms were immaculate, beds smelled clean and looked fresh. The staff was friendly even though we checked in at a very busy time and made sure we were happy. Highly recommended.

Stayed here two nights for a conference. Great location of you're heading to a sporting event on campus — just across the street from everything. Clean modern room with OK views. Lobby area was cool with a lot of modern touches. Wireless was iffy throughout the whole property. I ended up just turning it off. Oh yeah, there's a Starbucks so that's worth a star on its own.

They have conference hosting down to an art form. The decor, location, and food are perfectly fine, though not memorable. The audio/video setup is excellent. I was particularly impressed with the pleasant, friendly and professional catering staff. I did not stay in the hotel overnight, so I can't comment on the accommodations.

Extremely positive experiences working with their conference center staff. We've held several meetings there and they are a well-oiled machine! Right after booking, people from each department reach out to see what type of support you'll need (catering, technology, etc). The execution is seamless. Thanks I hotel!

The place was clean. It's employees were friends and held open the doors. We attended a wedding and everyone seemed helpful. My husband is a vegetarian and when asking the servers what dishes had meat they did not offer any answers or bother to go ask which was frustrating. However, we asked another server inside the reception hall and she said she did not know but then went to all someone who did. She came back with the answer and that was helpful. The bride and groom seemed to like it. The restrooms were right off the reception room. And the hall wasnt too dark but still set the mood!

Modern comfortable hotel, minimalistic decor in rooms (I liked the TRUE book shelves just made of… books) and almost Zen like in some areas. Conference area great. Good beds, shower the "gentle rain" kind (ie no power spray! ) attached restaurant with wonderful (summer shaded) outdoor seating. Green roof of planted sedum. BEST is LOCATION for ant U of Illinois events — ESPECIALLY sports as most am easy walk away.

This is easily the best hotel at which I've stayed. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The rate was half what I would have expected to pay. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. 24 hour fitness center, ample parking, great location. The Wi-Fi was the fastest I've ever used at a hotel. Highly recommended and I look forward to staying again to enjoy all the other amenities offered!

This place was amazing. In town for pokemon go events and will never stay anywhere else when I come to town in the future. Amazing staff, awesome amenities, and I loved the bar. Very awesome having pokemon spawn for me while getting seriously drunk.

The staff was incredibly kind, courteous and thoughtful. I had a train to catch and 6 am and they arranged the free hotel shuttle to drive me to the station, despite it being earlier than the shuttle usually operates. The shuttle was even stocked with the day's newspapers and bottled water for me. My room was large and comfortable with every amenity I could ask for. Would highly recommend staying here.

I went to a professional event. We ate and kept a meeting. Good service and facilities. Modern decor.

We came in at midnight after having car troubles, we weren't planning on stopping. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful, gave us water, toothbrushes, combs, and phone charger. All while being very kind. The hotel was beautiful and we had no problems at all.

We stayed in their suite which is two rooms, one with a king bed and another with a pull out couch. I was able to use the one room as my office while keeping the other room as the bedroom. My wife insisted on purchasing their throw blanket which I too agree was amazingly soft. We will definitely be staying here again when we're back in town.

This hotel and convention center is right in the heart of the University of Illinois. I stayed in a two queen bed room, overnight, and the room was above average. Their bar service in their restaurant was slow on a Saturday afternoon, but the drinks were good. Their convention center was a wonderful venue for my friend's wedding. They had seats for almost 100, and the reception followed in the adjacent room, after a cocktail hour in the hallway. The reception was well catered and a big success.

We had my son's rehearsal dinner there, the wedding and the reception. It was absolutely the best. The service was incredible and they couldn't do enough for us. We had a large wedding, with people coming from out of town and out of state. To be able to have our wedding party and guest stay where all the events take place was perfect.
The food was wonderful and after the reception to be able to just go into Houlihan's for the ccontinued celebration ended the night just right.
We can't thank them enough for making it the best weekend for all of us. You made a stressful situation so much easier for us.
I would recommend it for a wedding venue. Let them help make your life easier by having them do it all.

I was here for an event. The classroom was large, clean and modern. The bathrooms are clean and good too. Is recommended.

Perhaps the best value I've ever received at a hotel stay. YMMV, but our stay was an off-season summer stopover for our family and couldn't have been better. Tesla charger out front, 8 major newspapers at the front desk, a solid continental breakfast at the hotel restaurant, pristine rooms, and luxe toiletries.

Pricey drinks place. Nothing too fancy although the outdoor seating is nice when the weather is great.

Theyv do a wonderful job keeping the place clean and tidy, the food is pretty good and the Houlihan's + Starbucks inside are pricey but a nice bonus!

A breakfast bar was provided. It wasn't bad. A member of the IT staff greeted me and ogfered to help with setting up our laptop. The service staff took our empty plates promptly. I liked the iHotel.

Conference center is spacious. Food was well prepared and staff was pleasant. Nice accommodations, but cannot comment on price.

Although I was attending a semi large conference at the I Hotel, parking was not a problem and finding my way to the rooms was not a problem. The rooms themselves were quite pleasant to sit in and catered meals are fairly good. Plenty of attentive staff are positioned around the hotel and answered questions and concerns quickly.

The venue is beautiful and modern. I was impressed by the catered food and all of the awesome stuff we had there. I didn't actually see a room though so I don't know what those are like. It is in a very convienant place for Athletics and the research Park.

I was at the hotel for a career fair as a corporate representative looking for u of I students who want part time positions at the nearby reseach park. The event was in the Illinois Ballroom. I thought the event was very well organized and staff/volunteers were friendly and helpful. The University also offered a boxed meal and drinks for the recruiters in a room near by. Everything was clean and felt like a high end establishment. I would definitely consider using the space for other events if I was organizing.

The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing! They went out of their way to ensure that our stay was comfortable. We've stayed at plenty of hotels (many supposedly upscale) over the years and this was one of our best hotel experiences.

This is my second year speaking at the 8th Grade Career Conference and the service of the I Hotel staff has been fantastic. Restrooms clean and frequently checked. Great audio/visual equipment available for every conference room. Top notch! Great job!

We were very happy with our one night stay at the I Hotel. Staff were very helpful and courteous. The room was very nice, much nicer than other hotels in the same price range. We enjoyed the shower with immediately hot water and good pressure, and the complimentary books left in the room were a very lovely touch. I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Champaign, and would recommend it to anybody.

I work here, but Google rewards asked me to complete a survey to receive credits. I would recommend staying here. The staff does their very best to be friendly and accommodating and it's location is within walking distance to state farm center and the Illini football stadium.

It's a nice hotel. I stay there for work frequently. It's very clean and in good repair. It's pretty close to things to do and the restraunt downstairs is good. The only problem I've ever had was on my most recent stay I paid for the room instead of my roommate who usually does. When I inquired how much I would be charged I was told "the negotiated rate plus tax". Which was fine. I then saw that I was charged $50 extra for "incidentals" at check in. This is totally normal and I have no problem with that normally. However, it is not a pleasant surprise, especially since I specifically about the exact price. Of course, the extra $50 fell off a couple days later but it was still annoying. Overall I like this hotel and would stay there for other than work purposes if I had the opportunity.
