It was an amazing stay at this hotel and by far the best La Quinta that I’ve ever stayed at. Despite the distance from where we generally like it visit (Redington Beach) we chose this hotel because of its reviews, and it did not disappoint! I only had one issue with my stay, my card having random charges and was told different reasons why, but when I finally went to the desk it got resolved and I had no further problems. The staff was amazing, especially the cleaning crew and would always get you what you need, and Steven at the front desk went out of his way to make sure we were in the best room for us when we extended our stay! Breakfast was a great variety including waffles, bagels, English muffins, eggs, coffee, cereal, and much more, our room (King Suite) was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool was clean and we used it a few times as well as the laundry facilities that I was pleased to find out that they had on site when we extended our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as plan on staying there again in the future when we visit!

First let me say that this is my first time at a La Quinta. I'm more of the resort type. However due to home renovations I needed a room short notice and being that it's Saturday literally almost every hotel in the county was booked solid. I was apprehensive since I had never stayed here before and called to ask if I could come see a room prior to booking. Although this is probably somewhat out of the norm, Dan was very obliging. Upon arrival I told him that I was so impressed by the reviews but I thought that I would be fine and went ahead and booked the room. It was their last room. I was so surprised with all the security. Keyed entry into hallways not just your room. When I walked into the room I was blown away by how spacious and clean it was. Oh my God you guys. So clean. Everything so immaculate and white. More towels than I could have hoped for. Extra toiletries. Upon entering the hallway I saw five housekeepers so they were obviously working very hard to keep this place up to par when so many others in the area on even offering housekeeping at this time. There is a fridge and microwave in the room, Outlets Galore. You can charge everything and anything and use every device you have in this room. The storage space is insane there are nightstands dresser drawers a closet all types of little cubbies. I haven't been down to the pool or hot tub but I heard that they close at 10 so it's my hope to make it down there as I will just be here one night.

Dont have a matience guy by the name of Carlos — he is the chunky one staring at girls and me in our bathing suits making sexual jokes and sexual gestures at us and the makes jokes about it to the head housekeeper. Their is one housekeeper that would slam the doors only in the hallway that we were staying in like early as can be between 5:30am-11am off an on constantly, we watched her one day. That is so unacceptable when we pay so much to be able to sleep an not able to because of the noise and not able to eat breakfast because way more then 10people were in the area not following the spots to stand at 6 ft apart or not wearing gloves or masks. 50people in the pool an hot tub is way more than social distanceing. Dont have your employees call the police because people are having sex to loud and yelling cause it was good. Atleast let the person explain what's going on before your employees DECIDE TO RUIN THEIR LIFE AN MAKE LIFE EVEN HARDER SPECIALLY DURING THE COVID PANDEMIC. The only good thing I have to say is the only good thing about this hotel is a very very polite and hard worker named andrew the maintenance worker is so helpful more helpful then even the assistant manager dawn and the front employees. Andrew always was polite asked if we needed anything and he should definitely needs to be promoted and the best an only kind an helpful worker at that hotel also the blonde that works the front is nice I dont know her name but I definitely know it is not dawn.

Very nice hotel for the price.

Love this place! The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and they are extremely pet friendly! The pet fee is only $20 and they have an area to walk them! The pool and hot tub are great too! This will definitely be our new getaway spot!

The location is nice it's hidden behind the highway which makes it great to be able to get to places quick. Rooms are average but they have a good clean smell. Service is great. Everyone there seems to like their job because they look like they have genuine smiles. They're courteus and respectful.

What can I say. I love this hotel. Everyone you meet here is so nice. The rooms smell great and are very clean. You will feel very comfortable sitting by the pool. A Very tranquil environment leaves you with a sense of peace. Lenny's is the diner a few doors over just in case you miss free breakfast. (Ends at 10am. )

We were lucky enough to watch the fireworks before the 4 of July celebration. Above average experience. The Chinese restaurant within walking distance is awesome too! The pool area is nice cause they have a gazebo with a resting area.

My family stayed here while our apartment unit was being tent fumigated for termites. Our rooms were small but very clean and well kept, they offered a breakfast every morning between 6:30 am and 10:00 am and have a beautiful pool area next to a lovely landscaped courtyard with a lovely gazebo and fountain all outfitted with comfortable out door furniture. Our stay was surprisingly nice. I just wish they reserved rooms, it's a first come first serve kind of establishment as they will not guarantee room availability. But a great place for short stays and staycations.

Super friendly staff and very helpful. Only downside, no elevator. I believe every room has a patio overlooking the pool area. A motel room can be stuffy, so that was definitely a bonus for me. An added extra bonus is the container store on one side of it and the strip bar on the other. Motel is nice, but lock your car and don't leave your children alone if you decide to go to the strip club.

It was just as it was pictured online. We was by the pool and the office. Our back door led to both, and our view was lovely. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and in the reclining lounges. The breakfast was nice and they had a different variety of meat each day. My family spent Memorial Day weekend.

Great place to visit. Beautiful courtyard with great landscaping. Pool and hot tub very well maintained. This location is near food and shopping. A few bars are also close.

Great hotel for the price. Our room was on the second floor by the pool and we loved the view of the well-kept, clean courtyard. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was decent. There were many things within walking distance and the beach was less than 20 minute drive away. If you are going to Clearwater beach but can not afford the beach prices I recommend this hotel!

This place is fantastic, especially for the price. Beautiful courtyard area, pool, gazebo, separate covered large hot tub, full breakfast, and beautifully landscaped. Had laundry facilities, too. Great experience, best laquinta we have visited. Felt and looked like a 5 star resort!

I had previously booked at another hotel, but after comparing reviews, cancelled that reservation and booked here. I am so glad that I did. Everything here was great. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is they are a two story hotel and don't have an elevator. It wasn't important to us but it may be to some. I highly recommend this hotel!

Unexpected surprise. Nice nightly rate. Updated and clean facility. Highly accommodating staff. Decent breakfast in morning. Would definitely stay again if in area.

I stayed here for 3 night recently, and had a wonderful experience. The breakfast was nice (not gourmet, but what do you expect for free? ), the beds are clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff are very accommodating. I loved the pool area, with comfortable seating under cover for those who don't need or want a sunburn. I only wish they had a fitness room.

Good employees very helpful! Rooms were clean. The motel in general really needs to be updated! Wasn't impressed with location but the price was reasonable!

Room was clean, nice pool and not far from beaches. A bit noisy but the exit door is outside our room. Additionally continental breakfast was one of the better ones we've experienced.

This hotel made our vacation great! We loved the location, staff and the breakfast (the breakfast is one of the bests ever) as a family. Also, the Wi-Fi connection of this hotel is super fast! It is also clean and closed to the beach!

Good, clean room. Could be quieter and darker, but was adequate. Breakfast was good, with hot food options suitable for both adults and children. Would stay here again.

This is an inexpensive place to stay with a nice pool and hot tub! My dogs have been here the past two years because we love the location and area. Clean and friendly!

For the money really great. As it was very cold when we were there we spent several hours in the jacuzzi. Breakfast was quite crowded and there was hardly a free table.

Service was great and the room was very clean. Upon signing in, the employee at the front desk gave us recommendations for places to visit and food to eat and helped contribute to our vacation. Their free breakfast was also a great addition with a medium-sized variety of foods.

Really nice room over looking pool. Dan at front desk got me in and out and guessing selected the room for us. Fridge and microwave in room. Just spent three nights down street. This place is better. Got two nights here. Already pleased.

Hotel is CLEAN. Staff friendly. Beautiful courtyard. It is pet friendly and has a great free breakfast. Bed was brand new as were pillows. Super comfy.

Breakfast is great, lots of protein, waffles and good coffee. Bed was comfy, shower is ok, not enough water pressure. Watch out for the lady that works the desk at night, she's pretty rude. No customer service from her that's for sure. Happy travels.

The room is clean and the location has been very convenient. I had a bad ac in my room — I was disappointed with that. I was not able to contact the office to report the faulty ac. — however it was obvious — why doesn’t the maid service report this I am not sure. Once I was able to report this the ac was replace within the hour. I am frustrated that I had to try and sleep with this for two days. My own fault — but in room checks it should have been taken care of before I even used the room. Pool was clean and breakfast was good and had several options.

Rooms are neat & clean. Bathrooms are clean as well. Fixtures need replacing to go along with updated rooms. Like it that there are chairs on each balcony. Breakfast was great, well stocked with a great variety of selections to choose from. The staff including front desk was very nice. Plus it's less than 10 minutes to the beach. I will be staying here again!

We've stayed at 4 different hotels this past week. This one was the best of them all. To beds were but far more comfortable. The Wi-Fi was great. Even the pillows were good. A huge selection for the free breakfast too. We will definitely stay again.

Pet friendly with nice rooms and a very nice complimentary breakfast. Serve yourself. Make waffles or enjoy eggs, sausage, ham, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. Our room came with a taller than usual refrigerator and also a microwave that was enclosed in a very tasteful cabinet. Coffee maker in room with a nice layout to bathroom, & closet. Employees were very polite and helpful. Because of the overall feeling and look with attitude and service I'm overlooking the nitpick stuff. So that's why I'm rating 4stars. I would certainly stay again.

It says a 3star hotel, I would say it's more of a 4 star hotel. I love how clean and nice they are. Breakfast was good, and it's not too far from the beach. For the location, Buffalo wild wings is right across the street which is an awesome thing about the location, and there is a farmers market pretty close and they have awesome fruit. There was no elevator in the building but if your disabled just tell the front desk and they will book you down stairs. Cheap, friendly, clean hotel. Definitely recommend it.

Everything was as expected. Clean room, comfy bed, nice pool, and good breakfast. Staff was very nice and even called before and after my stay. There are two amazing places to eat near by called Lenny's diner and Maggio's pizza. I would definitely book this hotel again. I didn't experience any issues. I had the deluxe king room.

In the room there's a large flat screen tv, a larger mini fridge, a medium microwave, a large desk. A nice sized patio with two plastic chairs. There's a separate area with a large mirror over a large countertop sink. Next, behind a door is the shower tub combo and the toilet. The only complaint, there's no easy access to the outlets.

Was there while the pool was being remodeled which looks very nice, was accommodated with full access to LA fitness for inconvenience, room could have used some updating, a little odd to get to if you're not an experienced driver. Friendly staff, awesome location being centralized to Clearwater, Tampa and St Petersburg.

We have stayed here twice and would highly recommend it. Rooms are conveniently accessable from your vehicle which was extremely convenient as I had been in a wheelchair. The rooms were very clean along with the pool and all other areas of the hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and the food was great! We will be visiting every 3 months for medical treatments and will definitely be staying here if available. Much much nicer than the Days Inn near by!

Hotel is newly remodeled but the pool is closed for remodeling as well. The room has a slight smell of mildew but after about a minute you can't smell it anymore. Very good breakfast. Overall a pretty good stay.

My first few stays here were OK. Clean rooms, property well kept up. But my last visit changed my views of how poorly run this place is. My family and I will never return here. We were treated very poorly by Amanda, I believe the women who takes care of breakfast. She is very racist my daughter's boyfriend who is black went to get breakfast before we left for the day. She approached him rudly and said I told you never come back he said lady I never saw you before now. She began yelling at him in front of guest. Accused him of never having a room there. This is how you people treat Elite member? He walked out on his way to the car her and someone named Bruno came to the car window yelling screaming almost to the point my family felt threatened and afraid (my 75 year old grandmother was in the car and was shaking out of fear! ) I have never seen someone verbally attack someone the way these 2 did. It was definitely a race thing and disgusting to say the least! Funny thing is the guy who said his name was Bruno was hitting on my teenage daughter earlier that morning. I strongly suggest whomever does the hiring does a better job because they both acted like straight trash red neck racist scum. Bruno looks like a guy who was just released from prison he must be new because I have stayed here several times and never seen him before.

The manager is not competent when it comes to billing for rooms. She also had someone call us on our cell phones to ask if we had a pretty in the room as housekeeping reported there was a lot of "hair. " If indeed they had been in our room, they would have seen that no animal was present. I believe they were calling in regards to another room, bit regardless you don't call guests in the middle of the day asking stupid questions. The breakfast is quite unhealthy, but I expected no different. The room itself was very nice and had been recently updated.

They are remodeling the hotels and making them more presentable. The new rooms are amazing! They have sourdough pet rims where the floors are tile so if the pets have an accident, it's easy to clean up! And there wouldn't be a residual smell like if there was carpet.

Horrible experience booked the reservation online quoted me a price with tax. I get there and am I told have to pay full price (full day) for 2 hours. I asked 2 employees what my total was with tax, same as amount online quoted me, however when I went to pay they charged me an additional $100. When I asked about this they told me it was policy and if I was quoted that price they'd have to ask the employee who didn't come in till the night shift. Keep in mind this was at 10 am they tell me this on the day I'm checking out. I had a do not disturb sign on my door but apparently that means nothing to them since they kept trying to come in. Their continental breakfast was a joke, only couple pieces of toast, cereal with no milk and when I asked about milk they said that was all they had left and breakfast had only started an hour before. Absolute joke and rip-off never again will I stay there. Really upsetting since prior to this stay I've never had any issues with la Quinta before.

The service has been great. It is much better than I expected from a "budget" hotel. The room is clean and modern. The breakfast was great for free. And the pool is clean and nice. I would stay here again.

Staff is exceptional, however the room was ok. Mattress was lumpy and we had a leak from the toilet, couldn't move because they were booked. After fixing the leak by turning the knob (we figured it out ourselves) the only problem remain was with the mattress. Nobody in my party wanted to move. Se la vie'.

Really a great place to go. Great location, behind the scenes people are really great. Very friendly, Sweet alice, anne, breakfast and room attendants are the best. Pool heated and great to see kids and family in the pool. Staff is excellent, great breakfast, improvements are great and ongoing. Great job by management in all areas.

Odd location off us 19, but was a pretty easy uber to st Pete, Clearwater, dunedin and largo. Hotel was pretty clean, bed was comfy. Free breakfast wasn't bad. Staff were friendly.

Pros: The guy working the desk at night, super great guy, super helpful. Also, Didn't see any bugs. Free parking. Cons: Everything else. My room smells like piss. Pretty sure someone strait up pissed on the carpet and then pissed in the AC. Carpet is filthy. I don't often leave reviews, but this one deserves some warning for future potential guests. Beware. February 2016.

Rude little staff women. Ignorant manager. Took a hold out on my account and literally pulled almost a thousand dollars out without even telling me and it took a week to get half of it back. Didn't enjoy this sad little hotel. Lucky I didn't poop in the bathtub after the way their staff treated me.

I didn't enjoy anything. The Wi-Fi was shotty (cut off a lot), the manager was extremely rude, the hot tub was disgustingly dirty, the pool is cloudy to the point that I wouldn't allow my kids in the pool. Worst possible staff for help and on top of all of that, none of their makes know how to clean. Our FIRST rooms toilet backed up on us not even using it. Someone elses #2's flooded our room and after explaining this, they were reluctant to help get us a different room. Pet friendly but they asked me to leave because I had a dog. DO NOT STAY HERE! The shower water smells like feces and when you flush the toilet it smells like a backed up septic system. Again, I urge you to not STAY here. Too much money for a while lots crap and I do mean literal crap.

The worst hotel ever many things that could be done to improve this hotel. My husband and my 3 year old and myself had to leave at 1am because there where bugs in our bed I was bitten in many different places of my body the itching is unbearable my son got bitten in his back. I was there to have a good time with my family not to get woken by insect bites and end up sleeping in the trunk of my truck at a gas station. Hopefully they sleep nice and comfy in there beds.

You walk into the rooms and the first thing you notice is the god awful smell in the bathroom and the living space. Then you need some light and try turning on some lamps, only 2 work out of the 6 that are in there. I'd say the only good thing about this hotel is when you check out, go to Hampton right next door.

Wow! What a terrible hotel! No hot water for both of our two days here, and on Thanksgiving no less. Some of the worst beds I've slept on in any hotel, including hostels. Smelly rooms. Rusty water coming out of the taps. Even after letting it run for a bit it still tasted horrible. F — overall, and I'll never come back.

Darrell Friar, I understand what you mean! It was the last room and was out of options because I had a dog with me. Even my dog was uncomfortable in this room. The smell of urine and ammonia hit me when I walked in and was burning my nose. I wasted an entire bottle of perfume spritzing the carpet to mask the odor, and left the door open for about an hour. It helped a bit, but not much. If anyone wants to stay here, avoid room 552. The room is spacious though, 2 beds, with an ample bathroom. Sadly though, the bathroom sink is rusted, and the fridge is "cool, " not "cold. "

We had a mini vacation / house hunting trip and stayed for 4 nights with our two small dogs. I must say that this hotel is very nice! The staff all treated us with respect and was very accommodating to our needs. Our room was very clean as well as the entire surroundings of this hotel. We will make this our permanent home away from home each time we come to the Clearwater / Tampa area. I would like to thank everyone for making our trip so nice for us. We had a great time! Nice fluffy towels, clean, brisk sheets, fast internet, and having a coffee pot in the room was a plus. It was all perfect :-) I lost my gold band that slipped off my finger. I was in room 539 June 4-8 in case anyone found it. I do have one small complaint though. The breakfast was fantastic each morning, but people hogging it as if they never ate before, by piling waffles, eggs, and sausage high on their plates, caused others not to be able to get anything but apples. It was rude on their part, but no fault of the hotels. Thanks in advance! Thank you La Quinta, we will be back.

We have stayed at this motel two other times with no problems. This past week we stayed in a room that obviously had a foul odor in it. My wife and I are pretty sure the odor was pet urine that was in the carpet. In addition to the odor, the carpets in both the room and hallways had many stains and needed to be shampooed or replaced. The hall had an odor too, but we couldn't identify it. The outside stairwells (no elevators in this motel! ) were filthy with cigarette butts, food wrappers, and other miscellaneous garbage. I thought that perhaps it was dirtied earlier in the day, but we were there for 48 hours and it was never cleaned. The breakfast was okay. Not as good as some reviews claim (definitely not better than Denny's). In addition to the typical continental breakfast items, there were some hot items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, and pancakes. The pool and whirlpool are nice amenities. The staff was excellent, although our room did not get cleaned until after 4:00 and before 6:00 p. M. Both the check-in and check-out front desk workers were exceptional. The pet odor was hard to get over, hence the low score on the review. Personally, I think motels that allow pets should have tiled floors and not carpet. If you want a room that is free from pet odors, then do not stay here.

Best breakfast anywhere. Seriously, I've been in hotels growing up from sports and I've never been this impressed by a breakfast. I know it's just this branch because I was at another La Quinta a few nights ago (my apartment is being remodeled so I'm hoteling it) and theirs wasn't near as good as this. Zach and Russel made it a great experience. Zach checked me in and was nice, knew everything I had questions to and had good suggests for food. Russel handled the issue with the adults and kids at the pool at midnight screaming (it was a weekday, come on) at the top of their lungs. I let them get away with it for about 45 minutes and then called front desk (Russel) and about 2 minutes later the noise stopped. If you're reading this, thanks man. I hadn't had any sleep and had to be up in 4 hours; you saved my client meeting that next morning. If they had monthly rent like my apartment, I'd just live here. High Speed Wi-Fi everywhere I went, even pool. Again, the breakfast. Dang, and the staff. ONLY GRIPE — NEED ELEVATORS! What a pain to lug my stuff up those stairs (there was a lot of stuff and FL is hot).

Fair price. Great location. Room isn't great but it is pretty good. The way it is set up you can walk right out of the room if you smoke to a balcony or porch. Love it! And just steps away from restaurant and a bar and grill.

Hotel staff is great. There could have used a little bit more thorough cleaning in the bathroom and they need new pillows; but this is the price we pay for wanting a decent room and travelling with our family (two dogs). I always look for any other hotels around the area that we want to stay; but the additional crazy extra fees price me out. I am sorry, I don't have children; but know many children can do tons of damage and soil a room much more than my two pets. My dogs are very well behaved and I appreciate a hotel chain that accepts our little furry friends without a fee! We have traveled all over the US with our pets and it is nice to know we don't need to worry about where we need to stay knowing we have pets. Ten times better than La Quinta 4999 34th Street North St. Petersburg, FL 33714. I advised that La Quinta take their name off this one; but they apparently do not care; that hotel is full of drug dealers and prostitutes! I have stayed at four different La Quintas in FL and this is one of the better ones for dogs. We really just want a nice place There is a grass area for dogs in the back; although it seems like most people choose not to pick up there dog's business. The huge oak trees make for great shade being it is really hot here in FL.

I have used this location for myself and also for my family when they come to town. Great place to stay with good location and the Breakfast is the best. The staff is always helpful and the rooms are really clean. I recommend.
