Very nice hotel. The hot pool and swimming pool are very good!

Awesome location, room super clean and the breakfast was great an on time and last but no least the staff was super friendly and helpful in everything.

This place is a pretty incredible value. The pool area is far and away better than any other Hampton Inn I've stayed in, and I've stayed at a lot of them. It's 20 mins from Clearwater Beach and about the same to Honeymoon Island. The staff is friendly and helpful. For the price you really can't beat it. Highly recommended!

Location of the hotel is about 15 minutes from the beach with plenty of places to shop and eat existing on the way. Breakfast at the hotel is amazing and the price for a room is rather reasonable. The hotel offers a workout center, a pool and hot tub, a small business center, free parking and free Wi-Fi, and up-to-date rooms that include a large television and a mini fridge. A five star rating could have been given if the overall landscape was more maintained, if a microwave was included in each room, and if the two broken treadmills would have been fixed.

Great hotel. Nice rooms. Loved the pool area. Breakfast was standard. Definitely a great option for the family if you don't want to pay more than twice the price to be on the beach. Drive to the beach took about 15 minutes but parking was easy although a little pricey. We still enjoyed it greatly.

I was disappointed because Hampton Inn has always set an excellent standard for their hotels. Not at this one! During ck in, we were moved to 3 rooms and at that point we asked for a refund and left! Room 1, the toilet didn't flush; Room 2, no lights in the bathroom area; Room 3, bad chemical smell and when we got to the room, the door was open to air it out and side table and chairs were up off the floor. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and never one this bad. Then I found out this location was going to be demolished in about 2 months so repairs were not being addressed. I had 2 other families that we're joining us book here too based on my experiences with Hampton Inn. Anyway, refund was given and all of us moved on.

Definitely not worthy of a Hilton property. It's basically like a Motel 6. Small, old, dirty rooms. Tiny bathroom with smelly water. Walls and doors are all scuffed up. The window AC rattles the blinds so you either have to roast or not get good sleep. These are the types of hotels that make me question my loyalty as a Diamond member. There shouldn't be any junky surprises when staying at a Hilton property. I seriously sat in bed researching the loyalty programs of Marriott and Hyatt.

Wow! Not what I was expecting. Went in the room and went to the bathroom and was welcomed by a roach. Roach scurried of in a gap in the wooden tile. Looked again there was a dead bug on the stained carpet. Went to the front desk to change rooms while my daughter was talking to the person at the front desk my granddaughter went to lean on one the tables in the dining area. The table top was so wobbly that it almost came off and she almost fell and hit her head. I feel bad for the staff that has to deal with the complaints. Base boards were coming away from the walls. Nice attempt on the outside but inside rooms tells all.

Cons 1. Got up to use the restroom at 2 AM and watched two roaches scurry away when I turned the light on. 2. You have take five minutes to create an account and put basically everything about you into the system, simply to connect to the Wi-Fi. 3. Paid around $170 for a King Suite and it was very small. Didn’t even AT LEAST have a refrigerator or microwave. 4. Pretty sure housekeeping were rolling their carts around for about ten minutes at 8:30 last night. At first I thought it was thunder, but it kept getting louder and louder. pros 1. Breakfast is good, but you have to wait like seven minutes for a waffle. (Yes I threw a con into a pro) 2. Beds are comfy. 3. Quiet. 4. Pool is beautiful.

I wish I could put zero stars. This place was an absolute dump. Very unprofessional from the front desk, to facility. The room was infested with roaches. What a gross experience. I could not wait to leave. They had a free breakfast, but if there were roaches in the room — can you imagine what the food was exposed too? Gross. Im sick just thinking about it. Steer clear of this place.

I arrived at this hotel with a reservation. The area was very booked at all hotels. I was here to attend a conference for work. I awoke at night to a roach infested room! I was exhausted from the long drive to this area. I knew it was booked up and I was completely freaked out! I had to be up very early…! Needless to say I could NOT sleep! I have pictures and a video. When I say infested, I mean many roaches! I had another nights stay to which at first I was told there were no more rooms. I had no choice due to the need for a place to stay! I was not going to stay in this room! They gave me one night free and another room but the horrific event ruined my weekend! I could not eat the breakfast! I have never seen anything like this before. The room rate was high! I was hoping this hotel or Hampton Inn would consider this event and some how compensate me further for this experience. That was to no avail. What they did fell WAY SHORT! I’d love to put a hotel executive in that room for a night and see what he says! Truly a trauma induced event! You’ve been forewarned. This was March 9, 10, 11 2018 I’m not happy at all!

This seems like an old strip motel that Hampton tarted up with bright lights and a fresh coat of paint. The rooms are small and the whole facility is verging on shabby; the air inside our room is stale (no way to open the one window) ; the place is WAY overpriced. The Holiday Inn Express just down the street looks fresh and new. Perhaps that will be our choice next time we're in the area.

Great experience with staff. Choose 2nd floor away from pool. Trade off: carry luggage up the stairs. Pool is great but needs some new lounge chairs. No room fridge. We liked the location near highway.

Amazing staff except for just one lady but I’m sure it was a busy day. Gorgeous scenery and fresh rooms! Close to Clearwater beach without the high prices! TIP: Don’t leave during rush hour, because 2 miles can be a half hour drive. Breakfast stays open for longer than other hotels too!

One thing should be clear up front: it's a motel, not a hotel. When you step out of your room, you're outside. Other than that, it's a no frills place for a bed and a TV for a night. No fridge in the room. They have breakfast, but I had to leave for a flight the next morning before it was available.

Staff was great! Hotel was nice, but the room with the shower smelled funny. This is basically a reclaimed motel. Doors are on the outside, but it looks like a normal Hampton inn on the inside. My door wouldn't shut on its own. Either way it was an enjoyable stay.

Pros Convenient location from Tampa airport. Best pool deck with hot tub in all the Hamptons we stayed at. Cons we saw several cockroaches in our room crawling in the sink and bathroom area at night. No safe in room. Lounge chair looks very old and not clean had to place a towel on it before sitting on it. Beds and linens were the usual clean and fresh. We plan to mention the roaches to management. Hampton Inns are a favorite for us but this one needs attention.

Check in was great! It was late and desk clerk pleasant, told me needed anything let him know and it was his 1st night back. Greeted me next morning also. Rooms clean, inviting.

Worse Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at! The rooms were outdated, carpets were sticky, bathroom is small with no ventilation. Our friends stayed as well and had to change rooms because of a leaky toilet. The new room had trash on the table. They also said they killed two cockroaches in the bathroom. Very disappointed in this place. The pool and hot tub are nice and so is the lobby. They just didn't spend any money on the rooms. All of the rooms have an outside door. It almost looks like a motel 8 turned​ into a Hampton. Will not stay here again or recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent place to go with children.

Was not my first time at this location. I have always had good experiences and it has always been clean. One of the things that stuck out at this particular day though was a gentleman who was staying there for 2 months and it seemed after all that time they were still calm and courteous with this gentleman and his family. This stuck out to me the most. This location is definitely worth staying at.

Worst place I have ever stayed! Check in was 4 PM. Arrived at 4:30PM and was told no rooms were ready. We booked a king room with a pool view and when we arrived we were told there wasn't any king rooms with a pool view at this hotel. Then we settled on room one "with a king bed" and when we went in the room it had two double beds that looked like the mattresses hadn't been changed in 20 years and it stunk! So… whent to room number 2 and settled on that one because of the king bed but the AC was apparently turned off after "they cleaned the room"! This is Clearwater, Fl… who turns off the AC once the room has been "cleaned"? Needless to say it was like a sweat box in here. We are Hilton Honors members and Hilton's name is being tarnished by this Hampton Inn!

Must be one of Hampton's biggest. It is a bit tired but mega clean. Marked it down as a 4 because no fridge or microwave in the room. Otherwise everything else was spot on. Old style rooms (which I prefer), great welcome, plenty of parking, sound breakfast and a large and lovely pool area. Was travelling thru but would love to spend a few days. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

The motel has potential. The people were friendly and helpful, however, the rooms are poorly ventilated and have mold in the picture frames hung in the room. The bathroom doesn't have a proper vent so it retains a lot of moisture after each shower. The bathroom is also super tiny. You practically have to jump in the tub to open the door. Though I haven't seen any roaches in my room, my sister-in-law did have one in hers. The fire detector had it's battery hanging out of it and I'm not sure its even working The bed is relatively comfortable, just be sure to ask for better pillows. Continental breakfast was good and had a lot of options. The pool is large and the hot tub and shallow pool are also very nice. Convenient location to many places in Clearwater.

Very old and dingy motel-like hotel. Certainly the worst Hampton I’ve stayed in. Small bathroom. Exterminators in rooms. Closet door missing. Bathroom light wouldn’t work. Front door wouldn’t shut properly. Poor lighting. Shower head loose and falling out of wall. I’m an HHonors Diamond member and did not get acknowledged or given water when checking in. Definitely will not stay here again.

Our room faced away from the pool. The a. C. Stayed cold all night, but when it cycled off, it woke us (continuously cycled off & on throughout the night). The breakfast was very good; the attendants were on top of the bar, making sure it was kept full. Everyone we interacted with that worked for the hotel was pleasant and efficient.

Customer service was great. It's an old h/motel and we had several cockroaches in our first floor room. Front desk acknowledged the fact and offered to move us to a second level "suite". Second room had no visible tracks of the critters! Breakfast was good and pool area looked nice. Clean and good looking reception!

The room was nice. It was clean, but very basic. Reasonably priced, with only about a 15 minute drive to the beach. The continental breakfast had more options than I had expected as well. The staff was sparse, but friendly and helpful when needed.

Would have given 4 stars but we had 2 rooms and found a large cockroach in both. I know its Florida as I grew up here. But still y'all. Rooms decent otherwise, breakfast is standard average, nice part is we had rooms facing inward. No elevator near which is a pain but FANTASTIC pool area. Only 1 ice machine and elevator on property and no miceowave or fridge in room. Otherwise… pretty good. Service was friendly and decent.

Great hotel. All rooms open outside but the best breakfast we had on the trip. We were able to relax and have a good time. It isn't on the beach so traffic was not bad. It isn't far from the beach so access was Good. We didn't get to experience the pool and got tub but they looked clean and well kept. Our room was awesome and the staff were too. We were put on the second floor in the back and "upgraded" to a pool view. With no elevator in sight that was difficult. But everything else was amazing.

Spacious and clean rooms, garden and pools of 10 and praise, but bathrooms definitely to be reviewed.

I'd like to start by saying that the staff is wonderful… welcoming, friendly and willing to do what's needed to do to make a stay perfect and that the room was clean and tidy, BUT most of the things that made my stay not up to Hampton Inn expectations were not thing that they could fix/address: 1) Exterior doors. Nothing on your website indicates exterior doors and it is NOT the expectation for a Hampton Inn. This room feels like a LaQuinta or a Ramada Inn, not a Hampton… Inn.
2) Unexpectedly small room. Again felt like a LaQuinta/Ramada room. Unable to walk between bed and desk if someone was working at the desk and the chair was pulled out at all.
3) Poor sound insulation. I was woken repeatedly by highway noise, guests in neighboring rooms returning late (after midnight), leaving early (before 6AM) and talking loudly, slamming doors & locking cars as well as by extremely loud water noise from an adjacent room when someone decided to shower at 3AM.
4) Non working TV remote which meant no ability to utilize sleep function on TV to cover ambient noise mentioned above. (Your staff did offer to replace this but by the time I discovered it, it was after 9:30PM and I was in pajamas and had no desire to open an exterior door to a stranger)
5) VERY VERY slow internet. Unable to load even short videos either work or Facebook related (<2 min) much less stream video to compensate for non-working TV remote.

The room is a decent size. It has a king size bed, desk, wardrobe, dresser (where the TV stands), and a little bench in the corner, and the bathroom is huge (handicapped room). There is no fridge which is upsetting. The water pressure is TERRIBLE! The free breakfast is full of gluten, so I was unable to eat everything besides a banana. The pool is heated, which is great! All in all, I might stay here again, but if I can stay somewhere else, I will. The lack of water pressure makes me wish we had stayed somewhere else.

Because it is a comfortable safe plasenter for rest and has educated staff and honrrado and has good pressures the avitan, as well as a point very close to the area's beaches among other things more.

Got to the hotel and check in went smooth. Got to the rooms and everything was clean and fresh. The front desk even gave us a courtesy call to make sure everything was fine in the rooms. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in town.

We have been returning customers for about 5 to 7 years. This visit has not been as nice as before. Our room was not what we had expected as it is configured differently than previous rooms we have had. The sofa was so broken down we could feel the frame underneath. The room is at the furthest possible distance from the elevator and our room was obtained with an AARP discount. The breakfast area has been un-tidy when we went down, all the tables had been used and were not wiped and ready for others arriving for breakfast. The chair I sat in was very dirty and worn on the arms and the table had a crevice around the edge that was encrusted with grime and food. We have really enjoyed it here in the past but during our stay we are searching out other possibilities for future visits. The pool area was nice as usual however the closing time for the pool is 10PM and the staff starts turning off the lights at 20 till.

The room had everything we needed; fridge and microwave were nice to have. Service was excellent, checked in to see if there was anything they could do to to make stay better. Nice pool area, felt secluded from all the busy business and roads surrounding the area.

Sure the rooms aren't the greatest, it is a motel after all… Small, but kept clean and no bugs. The pool is heated, towels and pool noodles provided. Also has a hot tub and a nice kiddie pool with a water fall.

This has always been my go to hotel when I am down in the area for work. Well laid out facility and very attentive staff. Always a pleasant stay here.

Room was great. Fred breakfast is always appreciated. Good location. We accidentally parked right in front of the lobby overnight and they were very understanding.

I like staying here. The location works best for me and my work. Since they finished construction of highway 19, it has been easier to get around. The hotel itself is nice. It's a usual hampton inn. The rooms could use a little updating but that won't stop me from staying their again. The staff is very friendly.

The breakfast was great. More options than anticipated and clean. The bathrooms were clean. They also have a little hospitality table at the entrance with cookies, which I've not seen before. It was cute. I was there for a seminar, so can't speak on the rooms or rest of the complex.

Comfortable and safe. Once you get past the "motel" style layout you find it's actually a pretty good hotel. The rooms are nicely updated and clean. I stayed here because it was slightly less expensive than other Hilton brands in the area. I would recommend staying on the 1st floor with a room facing the pool.

Relaxing in my room when the door bursts open only to be caught by the security bar. Guy claiming to be a hotel employee (ended up being one) with no identification standing there with another drunken looking guy in shorts and nothing else. Drunk guy claimed my room was his, so the employee lets him right in no questions asked. I slammed the door and called the front desk only to be told "oh yeah, sorry about that he said it was his room". Unacceptable… Avoid at all costs hotel was in very poor shape, and with employees like this who knows what else goes on.

Clean hotel usually, meh location (great if you're a patron of the strip club next door), good breakfast.

This place saved me. Nice staff and I was just happy to have a room when everything was booked everywhere. Wish they would have had a refrigerator and the blow dryer working, but other than that, good and reasonable price.

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights in November 2015. Excellent customer service and room was very clean, bed was very comfortable; we would definitely stay here again. The breakfast was much better than what we expected, again clean and excellent service and staff. In fact I would like to commend Beckie at the Front Desk as she assisted us with an additional nights booking as I had booked through a 3rd party that short changed us on a day. Anyhow all worked out thanks to Beckie.

Awful. Bugs everywhere. This is more like a motel and is uncharacteristic of Hamptons. Getting in and out is a mess. Wouldn't stay here again if you paid me to.

While the hotel is nice and the outside access with the decorative pool is very pretty and nice to relax with for family events. I find the hotel to have some of the slowest internet connections I have ever had at any hilton property. After purchasing the "premium" internet per day I am still barely able to send emails let alone use any online programs for work. I suggest for anyone that needs to get any work done while staying at this hotel to find another location. Very disappointed in the quality of the internet and the rooms honestly.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Horrible service! We are sitting at the front desk arguing over a room we booked 45 minutes before arriving at approximately at 11:45 pm. She cancelled our reservation as a "no show" when we walked in at 12:30 am and said we will be charged tonight and if we actually want to stay this evening we will be charged for 2 nights. She is doing absolutely nothing to help and has a very rude handle of the situation. Her response "if you don't like it there's the door". We are on our honeymoon and have been driving since the crack of dawn to walk into this. Extremely upset and displeased! We will NEVER return here!

Wonderful from the start! Very peaceful stay, phone call from front desk making sure my room was ok, and housekeeping one of the best! Head of the team came by to make sure I had everything I needed! Will rebook on my next trip to Clearwater.

Stayed here from 6/22/15 to 6/25/2015. I can't even begin to describe how wonderful my families experience at this hotel was. I have never wrote a review before, so bare with me lol! The staff was more than helpful, especially the maintenance man named Ken who told us the best places to visit and dine. Every time we had a question or needed something he was always there and willing. Extremely friendly and knowledgable man. Liz was at the front desk, she was always helpful and smiling. We stayed in their queen studio suite, the room is huge and perfect for our family of 4 (2 young children). It was very clean. You'll want to sneak the bed and pillows home with you, soooo comfy! I've seen a few reviews that people were upset about the Choices for the FREE breakfast. They had eggs, meat, fruit, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, Danishes, and breads/bagels. Not too shabby in my opinion. The woman who ran the breakfast service was very friendly and kept everything well stocked during the breakfast rush. Now on to the BEST part. The amazing pool area! You would never guess that a highway was on the other side of the hotel. The pool area is very secluded. All of the Palm trees and exotic plants made us feel like we were in our own little oasis. We will most definitely be coming back next year. Thank you to the whole staff for outstanding service.

Stayed at your hotel 6/2 till 6/9 stayed at this hampton by choice. two reasons, the poole, and its staff. general manager, beckie recognized me on arrival. Like coming home. my 1st visit was 6 months earlier, still the same, welcoming smile. 2nd person you should know is debbie housekeeping manager. she was always about the property, attending to her major duties, but not too busy to addess any questions or request. you should be proud of these two individuals. i would recommend this hampton many times over. thanks again, ken smtih.

I am so disappointed with Hampton, been a loyal customer for a long time however my upcoming stay will be my last. Booked 7 days at $96 a night up front several weeks later rate went to $86 called would do nothing, I hope they use that $84 well as I will never book Hampton again. I guess they think they are the only hotel chain BAD NEWS your not.

Just stayed here for the weekend with my husband. The room was beautiful and comfortable with the king size bed, flat screen, Desk, and recliner chair. I would happily stay here again and again.

If you like huge cockroaches then this is your hotel/motel. My daughter and I checked in and checked out within 5 minutes because as soon as we entered the room there were 4 extremely large cockroaches in the room. Absolutely gross! I wouldn't stay for here for free! Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time.

Had problems in 2 different rooms which required me to return to the front desk 5 times. The first one had a problem with the key card. The second one had a broken entry system. They upgraded me to one of the suites which was nice. But this property is not up to typical Hampton Inn standards. It's starting to show it's age. Overall it's closer to a Motel 8 then a Hampton Inn.

Good pool area for kids very tiny rooms with all doors exposed to outside very poor security better rooms and security at holiday inn just down the road and cheaper.

Treated unfairly by the front desk staff. I'm a black man and my wife is white. I was quoted two different between the two of us. Guess who's rate was less? Buyer beware shady pricing for minorities.

Convenient location near Clearwater/St Peterburg Airport. Room was clean, very comfortable with feather pillows and down comforter, and well decorated. Wonderful large continental breakfast and very friendly staff. Would recommend and definately stay here again.
