Spent my staycation at this little inn with a group of friends. Rooms were next to each other. Perfect little quiet spot with a nice view and close to the Springs. Staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows (I am very picky about pillows). Will stay here again.

Really nice, good size rooms. Attractive, clean and modern. Nice sitting area in front of each room with great view. Good location, with very friendly staff. Highly recommend this place!

My daughter and I went up for a three-day getaway. Hanging Lake Inn was perfect for us. It was clean people were very friendly and accommodating especially Renee. It is family owned and operated and they are very engaged. I enjoyed being able to sit outside of our room in the evenings and check out the views.

We had a really nice time at the Hanging Lake Inn. The rooms are clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The motel has a laid back feel. I have to say it was nice to park in front of your room. I was a little concerned about the potential for highway noise, but it was not an issue. We stayed two nights and will definitely stay here again!

Nothing fancy except the view. It's beautiful surrounded by mountains. Very reasonably priced.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is a short drive to the hot springs. We liked sitting outside on the patio and watching the cars go by.

The room was very clean and the staff was very accommodating. Note for the road trippers, the fridge is only present in the luxes rooms.

No breakfast as advertised. Rooms very clean, no frig or microwave, staff had sign on counter that they were away but showed up promptly (it was dinner time). Bed was great, no sagging. Good Wi-Fi and TV. A very good value motel but no frills.

Relatively good value for Glenwood. Clean rooms. There was a gap in the weatherstripping of the door, but the owner told me that new doors were scheduled to be installed in two weeks. Walls a little thin, could easily hear the TV next door. No breakfast though.

Me and my spouse visited the Hanging Lake Inn to celebrate a birthday. It was very easy to get to coming off I-70W and it was in a very. Nice quiet little place even though it was right off the highway. We had a second story balcony room and the views were incredible. Even though it was winter and cold out, they had a little table set up with two chairs right out the door which was a nice convenience because we are smokers. When we first opened the door, our noses were assaulted with the smell of fresh linen and cleaning product. I'm glad to say our room was quite clean, beautiful, cozy and comfortable. The only downfall I'd say was the smell. Other than that, great staff greeted us at the door, no nosy neighbors, and great for the price. 5/5!

I had a wonderful time visiting Glenwood Springs, CO and staying Hanging Lake Inn. Glenwood Springs is a beautiful place to visit very friendly people and lots of eateries, I would recommend someone to stay at this establishment which is accessible to the freeway and their downtown.

My wife and I just happened upon this inn on a cross-country trip, and what a lucky break it was! Amazing rooms, amazing service, amazing breakfast! They even put a chocolate on our pillows when we checked in :). The staff was extremely friendly, and did I mention the breakfast? Holy cow, fantastic! Definitely stop here if you're looking for a place to stay for the night, because they'll do right by you.

Hanging Lake Inn was perfect. Located close to restaurants, attractions, shopping, etc. Rooms were comfortable and super clean. Inn personnel were friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and tell others about this gem.

The first thing we (mostly the wife) noticed was the pleasant smell in the room. Bed was very comfy. Would recommend.

We are both extremely picky when it comes to where we stay. We loved everything about this place. It's super clean, comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Great pillows too! We will be back again!

We stayed at Hanging Lake Inn overnight. For the price, it was perfectly adequate. It was clean, the office staff was friendly, the water was hot, and the bathroom had a heating fan. If you just want somewhere to sleep at an affordable rate, this is a great choice.

Hanging Lake Inn is a relatively small establishment that is simple to navigate to and from in Glenwood Springs. I have stayed here multiple times and would not stay anywhere else. The price is reasonable and the rooms are always very clean. Staff is friendly.

I had the regular king room. 99$ for a weeknight. Mike was very welcoming and friendly. The room was no frills, just essentials. Tv has some HBO channels. The shower is great. The driveway is very steep on the west side. If you're hauling something go to the east end to come in. No breakfast or common area. There is vending, laundry and ice.

We love staying at Hanging Lake Inn! The rooms are VERY clean. Comfy beds. Love sitting on the porch!

We've stayed here every summer for the past 20 years. Great location. Extremely clean. Perfect view facing the mountains. Friendly and helpful management. We'll go back next year.

Decent hotel, check in was smooth and staff were helpful… no breakfast:

Rooms were clean and quiet. The receptionist was unable to find any extra toiletries for us and gave up after 30 seconds of looking. Also, when asked for a extra pillow, (because theirs are flat) I was told they do not supply extra pillows. Make sure to bring extra shampoo and a pillow of you stay here because they won't supply you with anything besides a room.

We found this place last minute and was treated with generous amounts of dignity and respect from the owners. The room was clean and everything worked great. We woke up with a flat tire and they helped fix it as well as drove us to the discount tire up the road then helped put on our tire. Will hands down recommend to anyone that is staying in glenn wood springs. Very friendly owners!

These guys are great! Rooms are what you pay for great service has laundry mat snack and ice machine. No breakfast but thats what makes them affordable. Definitely will come back.

Clean, very adorable, dbl queen room w fridge, iron/board, hair dryer, real coffee cups, microwave and coffee maker. If you're a coffee nut like me — bring/buy some 4 cup filters and your own grounds… otherwise they have pre-filled filters. Nice view, close to local attractions. And 3 pillows per bed… thank you!

Hanging Lake Inn is a very clean, comfortable & friendly place to stay. Have to say my favorite part was sitting outside on veranda looking at the mountains. Great place to stay and reasonably priced.

Drove up from denver during 4th of july weekend. Made reservstions on 29th of june directly through the motel. We told the girl on phone we would be up late night and would someone be their to check us in, she said yes (they live on grounds off of main Office) she asked for a phone number gave her our home number and a card number. We left at 9pm on thursday and got up their at 1am. The Owner thought we where a no-show and tryed to charge the card and apparently their was an issue with our card so the Owner said he tryed calling our house number at 10 pm and left a message which we were already on the road at 9 pm as I said. When we got their at 1am, I rang the buzzer 5 times he finally answered the door and beacause he couldnt get ahold of us and the girl had no notation about our arrival nor did she ask for a Cell number which they should always ask for 2 numbers one being a Cell #, the guy bumped us and gave up our room. My wife and daughter were not happy to hear this news after a 4 hr drive and thinking we were about to sleep in the car then drive back home so after making calls and stopping buy a few places we were able to find a room for the night at only $15.00 more then what we were going to pay at Hanging lakes Inn. Their were 2 other options that would have cost us $350. More at one place or the other had a suit that would have cost us $389.00 more. It was now 3am and luckly was able to keep the room for friday and Saturday night too.

The owners of this Inn truly aim to please. They have their guests' best interests in mind. This is a shining example of what an American small business should be.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The owner was so accommodating! I had my dog with me and after the paperwork was done he said no pets, and I told him I had my dog with me. He said it was fine. I will definitely come back here if I can. The bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. The TV didn't work, it was all static, but I didn't mind cause I fell asleep right away. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
