Great room and nice service.

Pro: friendly staff, clean rooms, good price for a double queen bed. Comfortable bed. When my head touch the pillow I was out. Close to restraunt and freeway. Easy to get to if your not familiar with the area, nice and quiet can barely hear the traffic and the other quest that come in and out throughout the night. Free breakfast, swimming pool. Well lighted parking area not too dark. con: limited parking, swimming pool small but I don't care too much for it. overall would recommend to others and will stay here again if we come through Colorado.

The hotel was pretty clean and front desk staff were nice. Our reservation was "stuck" in the system at check in when I had already booked and paid for it was a little frustrating. Breakfast was good but ran out of many items rather quickly something they need to prepare for better.

I stayed here with my mom a couple nights for a weekend getaway. Clean, comfortable room, good breakfast, decent coffee. The hotel is super close to Iron Mountain Hot Springs and historic downtown. The employees are super friendly and professional. Definitely would stay here again!

Book this place as a convenient stop-over between Denver and Moab. Its on the outskirts of town and quite near the interstate but wasn’t too noisy. Staff were good and let us check in early. Rooms were clean and what you’d expect. Sadly even though it was baking hot the pool was out of action. 3 out of 5 as its not the best in the world but fit for purpose.

Excellent service! We made an error booking our room and the lady that checked my mom and I in was more than understanding, accommodating, and helpful! We checked in around 6pm Tuesday night but I dont remember her name, kudos to her! Definitely recommend!

Their systems went down when we arrived so check in too about 20 minutes. Bathroom was so gross that I wore flip flops while in the shower. If you go to Glenwood for the hot springs, just stay at the hot springs hotel. You get access to the hot springs for free ($25) and the complimentary breakfast is much better.

Very disappointed. Made a reservation and requested two beds, called to confirm two beds. Got there and all they had was a room with one bed. No explanation, no offer to help, still paid full price for a very disappointing and Loud stay.

To sum this place up in one word: deceptive. The front desk person who checked us in, led us to believe the price (with taxes and fees) would be $30 less than it actually was. The manager refunded a whole $10 for that, but it still doesn't make up for the problem. Plus the pool is tiny and looked filthy. I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Room was nice. Poor quality on the breakfast. The breakfast & check in desk area are together & a little crowded. The outdoor pool is accessed through the breakfast area.

Stayed here for the weekend of my honeymoon. Nice suits. A little small, but that wasn’t a problem. The jacuzzi tub in the room was so nice. The staff members at this location are amazing. So nice and helpful when my husband and I checked in, they even gave us a map of Glenwood and gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to see, and other fun things to do.

Unfortunately not the best stay we've had here. They were on a "towel shortage" so when we checked into our room, we had no towels. Went to the front desk to get some and they would only give us a rationed number of towels. Next day we were told that extra towels would be delivered to our room after 3pm but still no towels by 5pm. Had to go to the front desk again. The heater in the hot tub (which we really enjoy) was not working and was never fixed for the duration of our stay. Employees were friendly however so that's why they get 3 stars.

It is with in walking distance to Grand Caverns/Adventure Park. I call that a win any day. Best free motel breakfast in town. Another win. Nice, cozy outdoor pool. You gussed it, a win. Be a winner and stay at Holiday Inn Express. Or stay somewhere else and be a loser. It's up to you.

Clean, perfect for the family. The breakfast was great. The dining area is way too small. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location next to adventure park and Iron Mountain hot springs. Would definitely stay here again.

I’m pretty pissed about the whole place. I think all the hotels in Colorado have the same cancellation policy, they just don’t tell you. You see, if you make a reservation and cancel, all of them KEEP ALL THE MONEY ANYWAY! Best Western does the same thing in Cortez. I cancelled 10 days in advance. The “warnings” I got at first stated very clearly that I had to cancel before I was three days away from arrival or get a “penalty” which isn’t the same thing as just keeping the money. Keeping all the money isn’t a penalty, it is just what they are going to do. They don’t tell you that until after you commit to not going.

The Hotel manager Merna was so awesome and Francisco was also very nice! They were so knowledgeable of the their town and helpful of good places to eat and where to go. The hotel was clean and warming! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Loved the place! The check in was easy and simple! The continental breakfast was the best I've had yet. The room was totally worth the price! Also the gentlemen who checked us out was very helpful. His name was Francisco. He made splitting the room quick and simple. I will suggest this place to my friends!

It's no the fanciest but the location is great. We got a room with the jacuzzi and that was so nice and it had a little living room area. The breakfast was good… same as normal Holiday inn Express. Overall I would stay again.

I was stuck between giving this hotel a 2 and a 3. The customer service was decent and accommodating on the first day when we arrived. We stayed for a week and twice house keeping "cleaned" the room. They took out the trash and that was it. Didn't make the bed, did not restock the coffee or coffee cups. It was very frustrating that we used our hard earned money/points to pay for a place that did not do much after the first encounter. The toilet would not flush (the chain was undone from the plunger thing in the tank), they fixed it with a paperclip. Shockingly it stopped working again at which point I just fixed it myself. I can say the provided breakfast was edible. Wouldn't choose to stay here again and wouldn't recommend it to my friend. It's too bad this is the most affordable place in a 70 mile radius of Vail.

A little dated, but a great place to stay for the price. Breakfast area is small but sufficient. The staff has been nothing short of fantastic.

This location is just amazing! The rooms are cozy, the staff is just AMAZING and the food is great. We traveled here last Christmas and Mrs. Myrna went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Any restaurant question we had she answered. This year Myrna, Francisco and Jim did the same all over again. Thank you Jim for telling us about the awesome theatre dinner! Breakfast ladies, thank you for your hard work. They made sure that there was always food in the buffet. We loved it. We will definitely be back next year all thanks to the great service we received. I can’t rave enough about Myrna and Francisco who greeted me and my husband tonight. We are here for a quick vacation just to deplugg for a bit and had the worst time until we walked into the doors. They greeted us with warm smiles and were multitasking flawlessly. They were so knowledgeable about everything. They definitely put the sunshine in our day. I 1000000% recommend this place to anyone staying in the aspen area. Kudos to the management team for hiring these 2

Holiday Inn Express was clean and comfortable. It is really close to the the Glenwood springs pool and also close to the amusement park. The breakfast is the same as all of the Holiday Inn expresses but despite that it was still good.

What a wonderful experience! Jim was awesome checking us in, the room was wonderful, and they not only had breakfast, but cookies too! Awesome location and great rates, you won’t regret booking here. Thank you Jim!

Great location, next to Glenwood Caverns park. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfadt was good the next morning. Coolies when we checked in. Would visit them again.

HI-X is always a good value, clean rooms, helpful staff, basic continental breakfast, but I chafed a bit at paying the increased amount to be in Glenwood Springs, it was for travel soccer, so wasn't thrilled at the vacation destination markup *and* in the shoulder season no less, *and* the town is under major construction so getting around was challenging. However, of all breakfast staff monitoring the continental breakfasts at these hotels, this was the first one that was truly service-oriented — she was great — give her a raise, manager! She was friendly, interactive (most just keep stocking the breakfast and don't say a word to guests), and helpful! She made your hotel stand out above the rest.

The location is great if you are wanting to stay near restaurants and the hot springs. The rooms themselves are pretty outdated however they appear to be well maintained. There is a breakfast buffet in the mornings that is pretty decent as well.

Great location! Not a updated hotel. Mold in our shower and on the cealing in bathroom. Hotel did not discount my stay. Very nice employees at hotel!

Has a nice little pool and great staff. The inside isn't anything spectacular but was clean. Very happy with the accommodations.

This hotel had all the amenities and more. Very clean, great staff and great breakfast. The rooms were comfortable, clean and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the pool after a long motorcycle ride from Littleton CO.

It's Fair. I guess I would call this average. Best part is the breakfast. pros. — Good location — Good free breakfast! — Beds are decent CONS — Awful layout. Toilet and shower are separate from sink and mirror. Good luck trying to get ready in the am without waking anyone. — Outdoor pool water is ice cold if it matters to you. — Had to wait till 6pm to check in. Check in is at 3pm.

To no fault of the hotel well unless they didn't call the elephants above me. I had to call the front desk r times to finally after 11 p. M. Get them to stop running across the floor. The front desk said she called them but I don't think she did because they didn't stop for hours. Breakfast was only ok compared to some other holidays inns I've stayed at. Walls are very thin and beds I think could use an update. If I had to stay again I would but I would choose a Marriott first.

The overall facility is consistent with other Holiday Inn Expresses we have stayed at, which is to say clean and modern but not fancy. The staff wasn't just friendly though, they made me feel welcome. The woman working the front desk made me feel like I was the only guest. The woman working breakfast hustled to ensure everything was constantly stocked and quickly responded to requests. The facilities were great, but it was the staff who really made the stay special. My family and I stayed at another chain hotel the three nights prior. Although in the same price bracket, everything just felt a notch above at the Holiday Inn. The decor was nicer, the room was cleaner, the bed a little more comfortable, and the quality of breakfast food better. My stay at the other hotel was okay. The extra touches at this Holiday Inn made me happy I chose to stay here and I would gladly do so again.

Hotel staff was friendly and our room was cozy and clean. The decor could use some updating but we were comfortable. We appreciated having a washer and dryer to wash our dirty hiking clothes, too! We had a great (included) breakfast before we left, including coffee and fruit. I'd stay here again next time I'm in the area.

I wanted to give it 5 stars, but due to obvious lack of hospitality management training… I can't! They do have courses in hospitality, which the staff of this location would do well to take (PLEASE! ). I'd have felt (& preffered) a warmer reception check in & check out from a kiosk! That being said, my stay at HIE will be the 1st & last, though I visit Glenwood often for the hot springs pool. Also, don't be deceived by the pic of the HIE pool on Google. It's a mere kiddie pool when you arrive. Parking is terrible. HOWEVER, Overall: pluses are — pretty clean, great room setup, handy appliances (Keurig coffee maker), very quiet, beautiful views, close to hot springs pool & affordable.

Thanks for a great stay last weekend! Your whole staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was awesome! I wanted to take the mattress and pillows home with me because they were so comfy! We got to meet other travelers during breakfast time in the dining area, which was fun! Your hotel rocks!

Average Holiday Inn Express. It was noisy because there were a lot of kids staying the same night we were there, but they stopped making noise as it got later into the evening. Like most Holiday Inn Expresses, the breakfast could be better.

Friendly people, clean and spacious rooms, like the complementary breakfast. Definitely will be back and will recommend to friends.

The breakfast was okay. The food itself wasn't the problem, it was the fact that by the time I got down there there was barely any food left. The dining area is also quite small.

Great stay in glenwood… comfy bed with good pillows, clean hotel close to iron mountain hotsprings.

Had alot of fun staying here everything is close by can't complain about anything.

The hotel is nice, no surprises exactly what I was expecting. Breakfast is provided which is nice, the outdoor pool closes in the winter for obvious reasons but it was nice to see that the hot tub stays open. A little expensive for what you get, the Silt location about 10 min outside of Glenwood is a MUCH better value. Still overall a good experience though.

Noisy; Can hear the traffic and hallway noise. I seriously thought someone in the hall was in my room. The staff is very unprofessional. They were fighting among themselves in front of guests. Rooms are very outdated and somewhat dirty.

Room was great. Normal/Clean. What you would expect. The costumer service was amazing though, guy at the front desk (Jaime) was great. Pretty close to hot springs and adventure park.

I could hear everything in the rooms around us. The shower was rusted — needs an update. The staff was friendly and the hotel and rooms were clean. Not worth the money with the noise issues.
