I gave this hotel five stars, because nothing stood out to me as being wrong in any fashion. However I was there for a brief meeting related to timeshares. That meeting did not put me in a positive place, if you can imagine! So I was pretty focused more on that experience than on the hotel experience. With that said, I am in the hospitality industry myself, and if anything had been wrong, I most certainly would have attended to it mentally. The room we were in with small but the group was as well. The front desk seemed recently updated, and the bathroom that I used was very clean and adequate. I just remembered the one thing that I did not like was how narrow the parking places were. I was parked between a full size dually pickup and an SUV. I was very glad I just recently lost weight!

Oh man where to begin. First off the room smelled so bad of cleaning agent that my entire family got a head ache. We couldy open a window because there was none. Only a sliding door that had no screen. The track for the screen was completely dirty with leaves and dead bugs as pointed out by my three year old. And this was on the inside. There was toilet paper stuffed in the peep hole from what I am assuming was the last paranoid tenant. Luckily they said they would refund my stay which was about five minutes. They did this so quickly by the time I packed everything back in the car and went back to do a once over just to make sure I didn't forget something, my key card was deactivated. I will definitely say they are quick to accommodate a refund. Almost to quick.

Staff was very nice and helpful with everything. Room was nice, clean and quiet. The grounds are kept up very well. And the breakfast is very good. Eggs, sausage, potatoes and lots of different bread, muffins, cereal, and yogurt. Only wish they would switch up the breakfast once in a while. I will definitely be coming back.

As anyone that follows me knows I give an honest opinion about my travels all over the country. This hotel is an average to just above average. The bright spot is the staff, as they are very polite and respectful. The breakfast is above average with hot buffet and other options. Just a bit of an older hotel with a need for updating. I had a very nice stay, and would come back.

This was a very nice place to stay. It's not the Ritz by any means but you get what you pay for. And for the price, this place was clean and decent breakfast. The management was very nice and helpful. I would stay here again and again when in the area.

First, the window on the third floor is dirty. Second there is no window net so bugs or insects can come in easily while window is opened causing me to not open the window at all. Third, there was three baby spiders found in my bed. And lastly, the security door for my room isn’t working at all. Insert the card to unlock the door but all it did was flash green and red over and over. Not coming here again not worth the price at all. I’d recommend another hotel such as Green Hotel in Del Paso Blvd. The price for the hotel room is much better and has much cleaner rooms in my experience.

This place is different from most 3 star hotels. Back when it was built, probably 80s, it was probably a high end 3 stars. But over the years things have degraded and things have broken. And out of the 6 times I have stayed here, something has always been broken and nothing has been the same.

I don’t even know where to begin with how crappy this hotel was. The only reason we stayed here was because our other hotel had given away our room for some reason and it was close to 1:00am & honestly, I would’ve almost rather stayed in my car. $135 for one room and when we got up to our room, the AC was busted and it was literally about 90 degrees in our room & there were actual spiders INSIDE OF OUR PILLOWCASES. Management quickly gave us another room but when we got up to the new room it was disgusting. Sticky brown stuff all over the counters and stains all over our couch AND sheets and the hotel had no control over other guests that were partying and drinking all over the damn hotel until roughly 3-4am. The only reason this place is getting 1 star instead of 0 was that the breakfast was actually pretty decent. PLEASE save your money and go somewhere else!

Accommodation was OK, the pool and spa great after a hot days travelling. Disappointing was the fact that the bar and restaurant wasnt available as the franchisee had not renewed. This meant having to go off site for our evening meals. Within walking distance but upset relaxing plans a bit.

Stayed for two nights and repeatedly ask front desk to send maintenance to fix the TV as it did not work at all along with the phone in the room. Got the same constant response as we will send maintenance up as soon as possible. As I was standing in the lobby they were also dealing with another room with the exact same issue telling them the exact same thing. As for cleaning us in the bathroom there's hair all over the walls and tub of the room from a previous stay. Toilet does not flush properly and seat is barely attached to the toilet. And if you are not checked out by 10 room service will consistently Hound you until you do even though checkout is at 12. Would not recommend to stay here.

Service To clients is very good, but loss rooms and The bathrooms are very ugly. Co I would like to return.

Basically stayed at the hotel less than 12 hours. Just needed a place to sleep to be closer to an early morning game. For that purpose, this hotel was great. Room, bed and bathroom were clean. Price was moderate. Buffet breakfast with hot eggs and waffles was a bonus and included in the room cost. Location is right off the freeway. Surrounding area was not great however that didn't bother us and I did not feel unsafe at any time. Encountered two front desk workers and they were very pleasant and friendly.

I have stayed in worse hotels. The front desk personnel don’t really seem to have their act together. I will say it was nice and quiet during the day and nights.

I paid good money not to stay here. Yes that is correct I paid money not to stay at the Ramada West Sac. This was mostly due to the fact that I value my safety and that of my wifes well over the booking fee. Security door was not functioning so anyone could roam the halls whenever they wish as well there was a poor repair job on the sliding glass door which looked like it would give way if anything over a 10mph wind swept by. The smell, how I wish I could not have experienced that. I live in an agricultural area and would have rather shoveled pig excrement than gone back to that moldy/diseased room. This place must pay for fake reviews I have no other explanation.

The room they tried to give us was disgustingly filthy. Stains all over the carpet, and bed spread. We didn't want to touch anything in the room because everything looked so dingy. There was a rank odor reminiscent of a homicide cover up and not so subtle mold undertones permitting everything. Also if you like a hotel that offers a reasonable amount of security look elsewhere. It looked like every lock in the place had been broken into at one point or another. Inside room locks as well as outside building security locks.

Clean and comfortable. That's the most I can say since it is just a hotel, but they have a decent breakfast and a lovely housekeeping staff… Make sure to top you're housekeepers ever time guys, just a little too from me to you. Enjoy your stay. Later days!

I've stayed many times here. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. They remember my name when I come in. And when I prebook they leave sure I get my favorite room. Breakfast is served in the morning. Decent, typical eggs, potatoes, sausage bagels, toast, waffles coffee and oj. Pool is nice when it's w warm. And there are two hot tubs to relax in. Always a nice comfortable place to stay.

This place has a seriously non-existent level of customer service. I stayed here with my girlfriend for almost 3 weeks (we took advantage of an online sale) while our house was under construction. The staff are suspicious and unfriendly, and the rooms are dingy. They also try to nickel and dime you any chance they get ($10 to bring back a paper plate of benign breakfast food to your room, $25 to check in early — that is just absolutely ridiculous for hotel rooms that regularly sell $89-$110 a night — come on). The place has the potential to be nice, but it needs serious remodeling (everything is outdated and just sort of broken looking), and they need to completely re-evaluate the staff. Even the maids were hostile and unfriendly. It just isn't up to par with what you would expect from a typical Ramada. I suspect this is a franchise, but even so, they need to at the very least meet the basic standards of Wyndham corporation, and I highly doubt they are anywhere near those standards from what I saw and experienced. By the end of our stay, we literally were hiding in our room as much as we could just to avoid the negative energy of the staff. Avoid the hostile workers at the front desk as much as you can. They won't help you, and most likely you will just walk away frustrated and offended like us.

Amazing staff that is super welcoming and there for anything. It is an older hotel so if you are looking for a new hotel then you may be disappointed but I couldn't ask for better hospitality! I've been to many hotels and this was one of the best in care.

Not a bad hotel, and the gal who checked us I'm was top notch. It does need some renovations and better upkeep, but all and all it isn't a bad option. It's just mediocre.

The place is very noisy due to thin walls, the traffic and the construction. They were unable to take my card without a chip, which is fine, just seemed out of the ordinary. The room was clean, just very small. Nice and close to lots of stores and restaurants. Not the best but definitely not the worst either.

I'd definitely pick this again, it's priced just right and it does not come across as cheaply furnished or decorated. When they didn't have the room that we originally wanted available they offered plenty of different Alternatives until we found one that was just right. The hotel felt very private, we were not bothered at all. They're hot tub is also open until 10 p. M. Which is amazing because most hot tubs close at 6, so if you're planning a date, I would choose here. It's within minutes from all kinds of fast food and gas stations. Also to get downtown it's only about a 7 minute drive.

Rooms ok. Aight. Some rooms come with s balcony. The staff is awesome. I had to give it 3 stars. Just keeping it real. When in town … it's where I stay.

Toilet was clogged, no trash can in the resroom (that explains why toilet is clogged). The bathtub is also clogged full of hair. Walked in and it smelt like it was smoked in and its a non smoking room.

I had rented a room and everything seems fine but when I was in the bathroom on the shower curtain was a bug and at first I thought cockroach whatever they're everywhere but when I showed my boyfriend he looked at it and said no that's a bed bug. So we went down and talk to them and they offered to upgrade us but I just want to leave and I want my money back. Well we had to wait till the following day for the manager to contact us and did agree to give us money back but they did not put the money back in my account instead for some reason charged over $1, 000. They told me they thought I was still staying in the room for 8 nights. I originally only booked for 1 night but very unorganized and I will not return.

I spent the night at the Ramada on a drive from Portland to Los Angeles. My son and I couldn't have been more pleased. Our room was well appointed, with extra pillows and towels. There is a bar serving cold beer on tap and a fabulous hot breakfast included in the room rate. This is a big breakfast including scrambled eggs, waffles, country potatoes, sausage, muffins, toast, cereals, yogurt and fruit with fresh squeezed orange juice and a coffee bar! We loved the swimming pool and two hot tubs. After a long day of driving this was the best. A tremendous value for the money.

Our room smelled like wet dog, the Wi-Fi only works if you're staying in the main bldg, the bathtub had this really cool jetted tub that looked awesome! unfortunately it was missing all but one of the jets and didn't even turn on. Breakfast looked really good and you can make waffles that look delicious! However bring syrup because they are out! Used to be a great hotel now if I didn't have a gf I would rather sleep in my car.

Its a very comfortable hotel to stay at. The customer service was wonderful. Good housekeeping. Love the jacuzzi.

Nice updated clean rooms. No smoking. Decent breakfast. Nice pool. In the morning before I checked out I went for a swim and they locked me out of my room. Check out time is noon.

Staff was nice and friendly. Rooms were a bit dated but not bad at all. Clean. Nice pool and spa and pet friendly. Rates are reasonable as well. Had an over all good stay. Only complaint is that all pet rooms are 2 double beds. They should really think about making some into. Queen or king bed rooms. Very hard to sleep 2 people in a double bed.

Bad service, expensive, do not Think that you must have three stars.

This is a two stars at best, definitely not a three stars as Priceline showed. Hallway carpet is filthy, AC in the room is cut off by occupancy sensor so it's 90+ degrees at night. They even turned off the nob of the fridge so that it won't cool. Will not use Priceline anymore.

Roaches EVERYWHERE! If this site would let me post pictures or video I would. I have pictures and video they charged me for wiping up kool aid from a spill I made when they cant even keep up the hotel premises. Stay far away from this place. There was blood on my curtains and so many other things. I was disgusted.

Never ever ever ever again! I booked this hotel using Priceline express deals so I didnt pick the hotel. Priceline said that this place was 3 star and comparable to the Hyatt. What a joke! I would rather stay in a kitty litter box than this place again. Filthy… Bums hanging out and smoking rocks in the parking lot. They leave the door to the hotel wide open at night so that anyone can walk in. I called to complain and to ask Priceline to change the rating or to switch my hotel… They refused and told me that they don't rate their hotels based off of customer experiences… how about that? I will never use Priceline again and will never stay at a Ramada as long as I live. I will tell as many people as I can about my experience. I have a quite popular blog and I will go on every site that I can and list this review… I would hate for a family with children to put themselves through paying to stay at this place.

The rooms were well kept vlean the staff was curtious considerate and helpful. It was private and quiet. Good deal price wise. I loved it!

Ramada West Sacramento has good food.

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 days at this Hotel a couple of weeks ago and I will never stay there again. The receptionist was rude. The place was dirty and there were rodents running outside. I found dead spiders and bugs in the bathroom and was totally disgusted by this place. Do not stay here!

Bathroom was dirty and, toilet didnt flush, black mold in bathroom… other than that it was ok.

Very Bad smell, TV did not work, it takes 2 hours to warm up the room and noisy heater, door is squeaking, you can hear people outside talking very unsafe, breakfast is old and dirty I mean it it's dirty, I couldn't eat. Rating I wouldn't rate but 1 star it's ok. I would compare to motel 6… HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. I waist my time and money sleeping there. Do yourself a favor and sleep elsewhere read the reviews about they don't lie …

They permitted my pet but treated me like a sub standard human being to have my dog with me, that was so humiliating, please tether your dog outside while checking in, then go outside and use the long way around to your room, I said no sir, and my very clean and groomed lab asked me if he could lay on the couch while I checked in and I said yes, please do, so he did.

My experience was unsatisfactory! First of all, my check-in was mediocre! front desk agent is actually the owner's daughter. When I arrived, she was having side tracked conversation and instead of seeing me as a patron, she saw me as I wasn't important enough to be acknowledged. Once I strived to my room, I was able to hear my neighbors and they weren't loud. Instead, the walls were too thin and the suite needed improvements. Next, in which I found atrocious, was finding two used condoms beside the bed on the floor. The toilet needs improvement as in being updated to current standards. Lastly, parking sucks! it's first come, first serve ordeal! then, u have those who take partial spaces of the ones beside it and make it difficult to park there. Overall, it's too expensive for a 1.5 star place… trust me, as I stayed in the motel 6 next door and had no issues as this place does, only the non-smoking room does smell one.

The overall experience was negative. It is a run down hotel and does not deserve the 3 star rating it was given by hot wire. In our first room we barely sat on the bed and it broke. We were moved to another room and it was obvious they allowed smoking in it… It was atrocious. So we asked to move again. They stated they had no other rooms and brought us air freshener. Seriously?! Needless to say I was not happy. We again asked and we're told they were fully booked. After about 3 or 4 calls they finally told us they would move us to a suite… Interesting how a suite "just became available" on a Friday night at 1130pm. We moved and it was such a better room… Not worth the 120 they charge online but hey we paid 45 a night for it thanks to our original booking. The hotel is rundown and needs a lot of renovations. It smells like weed, dirty feet, and mildew… Yum! There are cracks in the tub the shower wall and the shower rod itself was barely hanging on the wall. The place is a joke and there is a lot of late night activity going on… Lots of men picking up women and lots of truckers with random women… If you get my drift. Absolutely stay somewhere else. Even the motel 6 next door had better ratings than this place. Do not stay here!

Our first room th3 bed broke. The second room reaked of smoke when it was aa non smoking room. Finally after being in hold for 15 minutes they found me another room but it was all very incontinent for them to do.

I wish I could give this hotel negative stars. There were numerous issues with the room, but that is minor compared to hotel practices. I received a call at 2am from the front desk, to tell me that a light was left on in my room. The owner saw a light on and thought it was a great idea to have his staff call at 2am to complain about a light being left on. This is the worst hotel experience that I have ever had, and I am always at hotels for work. If you like being harassed about trivial things that you pay for with your hotel fees then this is the place for you. All I can say is terrible!

I had a horrible experience with a woman at the front desk at the Ramada Wilshire. I called to make a reservation and she said she only had one left which I understand that when I got off the phone someone else could call and take it which is fine but when my mother called back she said someone had already booked the room and said "you are out of luck" then when my mom asked if she had any suggestions she said no in a rude tone and when asked to speak with a manager she basically laughed and said she is the manager. Very unhappy with the service.

The Ramada Inn in San Luis Obispo has to be one of the NASTIEST hotels my family and I have ever been to. We checked in on August 10th and checked out August 10th. Horrible front desk staff. They all have bad attitudes. They just want your money! No hospitality at all. The rooms smell. The sheets and pillow cases are dingy. We found snails in our room and when we complained about it, they got mad at us and asked us if we had brought the snails with us. This place needs to be inspected by the Health Department for real! No joke. It makes me itch to think about laying in that bed! I do not recommend anyone staying here. Not even my enemies.
