I love this place. It's family owned and they are fantastic people. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Its only $65 a night and you feel like your at home. You really can't go wrong with the Echo Lodge.

This place changed ive been cuming here for bout 3yrs n never been treated like we were treated ur last stay. Were having to stay n motels till we find a place. They were so disrespectful it was the wife. Well ths stay we found roaches n it was dirty thy got new help n the wife is just rude … I ask if we could get a double she said thy go fast but being there we seen a few empty but she wouldn't put us n the cheaper room n towels were nasty n the sheets well look like thy came frm the goodwill but alot of roaches wont b going bk …

The walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbors using microwave. Otherwise, decent place for the money.

Friendly staff, ample parking and a good location, large and clean room, soft bed, cable TV, microwave and refrigerator and also nothing else objectionable. Great motel for passing through.

The rooms are always clean and tidy. The staff are well organized, attentive, and friendly. Nice fluffy pillows (4 to a bed). Overall, it's a quiet and restful stay.

I enjoyed staying here with my dear best friend Mario for a night after coming back from San Francisco, California. Inexpensive compared to most places I've stayed.

The basic room fits the basic price. It smelled of smoke and the lady at the reception offered to change rooms or get a air freshener. Wifi was constantly interrupted.

Has a fridge and microwave. Heater workers well it takes about 10 minutes to warm up. Hot water. Comfortable beds. Overall a nice hotel.

Ok for the price if all you want is a place to sleep. Nice big bed and tub, bring your own linens. Excellent amount of unsafe parking. Dirty but uncluttered rooms. Broken appliances and fixtures.

For the price, it is a great deal. Flat screen Tv's, good cable channels, nice and clean. On the con side: not the greatest neighborhood, and room walls are a little thin.

Small, quiet motel. Decently clean with good space. Outdated furniture and fixings (bed not really comfortable) but worked for price. Good location if downtown is your destination otherwise neighborhood is only ok. Lots of amenities nearby though. They seem pretty strict with rules-no extra guests, got license plate #, made sure you're out by 11 but I wasn't complaining because it was quiet.

Its nice. The guy gave me a smoking room for my man which I appreciate cause my man was like I hope it's a smoke room. Lol.

Area is a little sketch, but the room was clean and did the job for a quick visit to Sacramento. It was also nice to have a grocery store right down the road and the freeway 5 min away. You pretty much get what you pay for.

I recommend staying here. It's quiet the host and staff are very friendly. Clean rooms.

I love this place. In the middle is a bunch of cockroach invested overt priced rooms lies this little gem. They are clean and bug free. Staff is always nice. I think it's a family run business. I just wish that checkout was at noon!

Simple. Room was clean enough for the price. Staff was friendly. Nothing amazing but exactly what we needed.

The owner is a genuine person and he's very cool he knows what it's like to give people customer service while you may go to Hilton and they may treat do you like your 3/5 of an human being…

A diamond in the rough, sort of. Out of all of the motels on West Capitol in West Sacramento, only a few can claim to be clean enough for humans to habitate. I'm happy to report that Echo Lodge is one of them! Staff isn't always the friendliest, but that may have more to do with its location and the area's battle with crime and homelessness. But what you'll immediately notice is that these rooms are clean clean clean! For $72 per night, you get 2 double beds, a mini-fridge, free HBO, a flat-screen TV, an air-conditioner that was positively Arctic, and… drum-roll, please… a squeaky-clean bathroom with a bathtub to soak in. I loved it and I know the weary traveler will too. If you find yourself in West Sacramento for the night, week, or month, you don't have to break the bank for peace of mind.

Horrible! Everything was dirty! Now I know its inexpensive motel however clean bedding and towels are not too much to ask for. Sheets were dirty they'd been used and just remade. There was hair and little pee spots. The towels we're all dirty just refolded, there was makeup and hair all over towels. I had to get clean sheets, pillow cases and towels and washclothes. The beds are like 50 year old mattresses that have more waves than an ocean. Couldn't sleep all night. Other tenants were so noisy all night as well. They steal from their customers as well! We payed $61.68 for our room however the bank shows they added extra and charged us $8 more than our receipt stated! This place needs to be checked out by health code and BBB. stay far away from this hell!

Wonderful place, great workers, great manager, always smiling, clean place, and nice, the manager participates in the cleaning every day with the staff low price and a safe place. I sat with my two children in this motel for two weeks until I found an apartment to leave by. They was really very nice with me. I love this place ❤️❤️

This place is pretty decent for the price. I thought it was well maintenance. Would stay here again.

Great Rooms, prices, feels like a home with their setup… with very friendly staff. Location might scare people, but do not let it ruin a great experience for some nice rest. 5 Stars!

It was nice thy upgraded the rooms with new TVs n carpet but this was last mth this mth was really bad we had cockroach's the staff was rude act like thy disliked us we had been going there every mth since last Nov. Now thy didn't know who we r ur towls were so bad I went n bought sum thy looked like cleaning towels I'm not returning.

I wish I could rate this place as negative stars, because this place was awful. The only towel we had in the bathroom was dirty (dingy spots throughout, and a brown smudge on one side). The fridge wasn't working at all, so when we opened to check it, it smelled up the entire room. There was mold near the floor in the bathroom, and a rust stain under the sink on the floor in the bathroom. No coffee maker at all, and there was no way I was trusting that microwave. The TV was a really old 26 inch or so, square blocky TV. The woman at the counter didn't speak very good English, so any questions I had were completely answered incorrectly. While checking in, she made it seem like the Wi-Fi was just set up and there was no password to get in, that wasn't the case. When we called the front desk to get the code for the Wi-Fi, they seemed really confused that we were asking and then asked us to come to the desk to get the code? I didn't trust the neighborhood, so I wasn't going out into that parking lot by myself to get to the desk. I didn't reserve a smoking room (my boyfriend and I are both non-smokers), but the woman at the counter changed my key over last minute from a non-smoking room to a smoking room. We just left it because I didn't want to deal with the mess since she couldn't understand me anyway, but it was frustrating. I really don't see how anyone could rate this motel as more than one star. It was awful.

The staff sucks there's no company allowed and there should be as long as its not overdone and ends at a reasonable hour. Also you pay good money to get to a room where the to roll is almost gone and when it is you request more and they tell you no there was a roll. That's crap. And I inspect every room I rent. They need better maid if you look under the bed you will see it hasn't been vaccumed under there probably since they opened. Tge air conditioning doesn't work there's no yellow pages no bible and I found bed bugs and they tried telling me I brought them. Its a bunch of foreigner bullshit.

Convenient location, close to a McDonald's. Clean rooms, and friendly staff. Slightly run down, key (actual lock and key) jammed a bit. Decent rate. TV and Wi-Fi worked well.

A decent hotel with a good location in the Gas lamp district of Sacramento, CA. The hotel staff were very accommodating. The rooms are very small but I think that comes with the time period the hotel was built in. We enjoyed the free bottles of water and Sunday morning Gas lamp tour. They also offer free morning yoga and bicycle rentals. My only negative feedback is the see-through (albeit frosted) bathroom doors and the shower water REALLY NEEDS to be hotter. We would return.

Super cute neighborhood, lot's of great restaurant & bars within walking distance. Booked their best room (corner room 3rd floor) and it was perfect. The continental breakfast was so european — a great start to the morning. Easy parking in the lot nearby, friendly staff, and VERY CLEAN / well maintained.
