Nice place, decent area, well lit parking lot and lovely rooms. Only gripe I have this time is my room had hair everywhere. Almost like someone was shaving, and the housekeeper probably used a towel to clean it up but spread it to the toilet, tub, sink and counter top. Seeing all these particles of hair let me think that it was not a thorough clean and they used the same towel for all the above mentioned. Didn't feel too good about it. Otherwise, nice hotel.

The employees there were not very friendly. There was a heavy set I think she was an Indian girl. Very rude and seemed bothered when you went to front desk. I had called down on the room phone to front desk. I asked if they could check to make sure I was suppose to be in a double bed room since I was the only female on the crew before I unpacked all my stuff. She said I'm sure if you are in a double some one else is going to be in the room with you that has not checked in yet. And is that all I needed because she was really busy. I said yes that is all I needed but she was not listening to me when I said I am the only female no one else is going to show up. There were only five people on the crew fax. So being a little annoyed she was to busy to listen to what I was trying to tell her. I just went directly down to front desk as soon as I hung the room phone up. Obviously she does not have time for you unless you are in front of her. The elevator opened on the lobby floor and there is no one in the lobby anywhere, no one standing behind the counter. I approach the counter and proceed to stand there knowing they have cameras and can check to see if anyone goes to counter for anything. I stood there a good 5 to 10 min. Then she steps from the side from behind a wall that extends from the counter. The whole time I was standing there she did not make a sound when she was just two steps away from me.

Good location, rooms were clean. Front desk staff wasn't too friendly, and queen beds were more like full beds. Overall not bad, would stay again just in a king room.

Sad to say but no where is great to stay west of Sacramento but this would be the cleanest of all of them… even then roaches and spider infestations always outside… I been bite twice, and all the violence that happens here with screaming kids, young adolescents, and homeless with their dogs. The pros is it has a kitchen with bathroom and not on W. Capital… big con is price jumps whenever they feel like with no notice or late notice, and the construction that occurs the same way with notices.

Nice accommodations. Nothing fancy but staff was very polite and helpful.

Staff was nice, room was clean but they are transitioning from smoking rooms to non-smoking and there is a strong smoke smell.

If you're not a fan of stale cigarette smoke don't bother. This place smells like and old dive bar that allowed smoking. It permeates the air ducts as air comes on. In room next to our wall was a barking dog. Fan wasn't in working order as well. Room is spacious and plenty of towels.

Love the staff and the location close to shopping and restaurants great continental breakfast.

Clean room, helpful staff, good price. It's nice to have a kitchenette and full size fridge to save money on food while traveling. Low prices for the area. However the low price and "apartment" nature of the rooms attract an interesting crowd. Walls are thin, more like old cheap motels fairly noisy when we stayed there.

The Wi-Fi isn’t good. Unless you’re in the lobby it’s a waste of time trying to use it. They charge hella if you’re a long term guest and want a room for the month get ready to pay thousands The nice lady from Texas ahead of me in line when I checked in paid over $2000 for a 30 day stay. Their amenities are a mini kitchen and a full sized refrigerator. Bring your own ice this place doesn’t have an ice machine. Booo!

Been here a week and haven't slept a single night. Not sure whose noisier, the guests that party nonstop thru the night or housekeeping who are fixated on slamming every single door, drawer and cupboard they encounter. It's a war zone here.

Not a good extended stay to stay. Everything is old. Staff is not helpful. Location is great, but look for a different place around to stay. Would not book it again.

Best extended stay I've been at so far. Could use hotter water and more pressure. Otherwise great.

Nice and clean. I'd give it 5 stars but the key cards need replaced. I had to keep trying to get the doors to unlock.

The hallway on our floor smells strongly of weed. Our room smells even stronger of curry or something similar. Full kitchen but no blow dryer. However, the bed was comfortable and the room was decorated nicely. Also, there was dog poop on the sidewalk on the way in and my husband accidentally kicked it…

Great place. Quiet, easy to find, clean comfortable rooms. Close to my in-laws, and not as scary as the hotels on the "stroll", for just $10-15 more a night.

Great property. Excellent staff. I would love to stay here for as long as possible. It's like home.

Not the prettiest room, but it was a room. Plain and simple with all the amenities for an extended stay. Stove and really large bathroom. It was comfortable, no loud neighbors, no crazys out and out really close to plent of small fast food chains and a gas station.

The grossest hotel I’ve ever had the misfortune of staying at. Right when u walk through the door you’re hit in the face with the smell of stale cigarettes, the “lobby” is small and grungy, with banged up furniture and a dungeon like atmosphere. The hallways and elevator REEK of cigarettes also, very unpleasant. Our room had dented and scratched furniture and appliances, smelled musty, and the carpet was dirty. The BED, I don’t even know where to start, the pillows were not fully covered and the pillow itself was showing (thank God), I saw all of the sweat/drool stains before I put my head down… I slept using my sweatshirt as a pillow and I was too grossed out to let the sheets touch my body, I wore shoes the entire time I was in the room because I didn’t want to let my bare feet touch that floor. I’m still grossed out. Friendly staff and decent location just aren’t enough to convince me that this place is worth ever staying at again.

I am a private chef and I referr my clients to stay here because each room comes with a kitchen set up! Love it! Book me!

Outdated, damp rooms with little to no ventilation. Little to no housekeeping service. Outdated stove. No dishes in cabinets. Low class clientele. I do NOT recommend staying at this place! My husband ended up trying to fight off a respiratory illness while staying here which I'm sure it wasn't helped by the dampness and lack of ventilation in the room.

This place smells like a Casino, I had to hold my nose when walking down the hall to my non-smoking room for 169.99 dollar. Then this big great Dane dog comes out of a room. Eww.

Place was nice and quiet never had any problems rooms are always clean And now provide free pots and pans.

Able to squeeze us into their last room. Hotwire had screwed us but this place saved the day.

-Comfortable, no frills, pet friendly lodging. -Kitchens in rooms a plus. -Staff are relaxed, friendly and accommodating while maintaining a safe, clean atmosphere. Disturbances, noisy guests and shady activities are rare. — In general, a pleasant environment with a good variety of shopping and dining choices nearby.

I really wanted to be able to write a good review because it wasn't as bad as some of the reviews stated. There were no broken down cars in the parking lot. No sign of drug deals or prostitution going on as some stated. I really never felt unsafe. However, this is just not a good hotel. Very over priced. The beds are awful. Very hard and uncomfortable. The room had a strange smell to it. If you needed anything, including a coffee maker, you had to go get it from the front desk. You could hear the people above you like there were elephants walking around on the floor up there. Housekeeping was hit or miss depending on who did it. Sometimes they did okay, sometimes they'd forget to take the garbage out or leave more toilet paper. It just isn't a great place to stay.

Very clean, spacious, provides cooking space with stove, microwave and lavish countertops. Large bathroom with soft toilet paper and large closet with iron provided to keep your clothes wrinkle free. Very dull almost creepy hallways.

Dunno what's up with all the negative publicity. I checked-in there last week and had a pleasant stay. I agree there was a strong odor in the elevator/lobby but that can be attributed to an entire floor dedicated to smokers. Found it safe and the service was prompt too. Much better than all the over priced options in the vicinity. You would want to extend your stay in this extended stay. Book a non smoking room and you should be just fine.

Over night employee was very professional and kind… I believe Paula was her name… She was very helpful and polite… I would stay forever if I could Thank You Paula!

I get my room cleaned weekly. However, no disinfectant is used so stuff grows in the bathroom and the floor has not been mopped in over a month. There is no real breakfast only apples, orange, and high sugar bars. Sometimes coffee, sometimes not and only during 3 hrs in AM. It is not a place for children. No place to play so they run up and down the halls at night screaming. Parents seem to forget they are sharing with traveling workers who would like to sleep. Management got rid of the very rude night man who lasted only a few nights. Otherwise the front staff persons are great! Smiling and courteous they make the stay much better.

The room was nice, staff was great but I was placed in a handicap room and the shower was unbearable. It probably wasn't anyone's fault but it could have been a better stay.

The service at this hotel was amazing. We brought out kids with us and the staff couldn't have been nicer. They brought cookies and milk everyday for the kids. The location was fantastic for the city. You could walk to most places or take a quick cab or uber all around. Just a fabulous stay. I went to say good bye to my mom who was staying there. The lobby was clean and strongly smelled of cleaning products. The elevator smelled of cologne and weed, though on the way back down it reeked of cleansers. When I stepped off the elevator onto the 3rd floor, I was assaulted by cigarette smoke and odor. It was foul. My moms room was clean and didn't smell as bad. That floor was supposed to be the nonsmoking floor.

This place is absolutely terrible dont go here! The maids barge in on you… like they will unlock your door and let themselves in. Ive had to tell them several times that it wasnt okay with me and they continued to barge in on us every weekend. Not only that but the manager laura wouldn't know how to manage a hotel even if it were ingraved in her ass. She also will just let herself in your room. In fact because of her my wife and I felt we could never leave our room since her and all other staff members would let themselves in without my permission. Rude staff! They yell at you if u forget your key in your room. They snoop through your mail this place sucks. They even think its okay to call your room several times at 3am. Not kid friendly… channel 17 is a porn channel! Wtf? Between several drug busts, and staff lies somethings definitely up with this place. My poor cat got an eye infection from the dirty rooms! Don't go here people I strongly suggest against this place. Hampton Inn across the street is much nicer:)

The location was very convenient for my partner and I because it was very close to both of our jobs. We stayed a total of two days in two different rooms and gotta say there can be a difference between the rooms. One room was bigger I felt and the other had less counter top space. But overall very clean and prepped. We always love the girl at the front desk who works night shifts, definitely our favorite and probably the reason why we like this location overall.

The rooms where nice. We stayed in a room with a kitchen. There could have been a Little more amenities for the kitchen. But over all the room was clean and smelled nice for a smoking room!

We had two stays here while in California. Easy on and off the 80 system and close to anything you need. Friendly staff, clean rooms and comfortable rooms. Definitely a good place to stay again.

I had to call the police because a guy rolled up on me in the parking lot. I was unloading my stuff and he just came up in a really old car with no headlights on and backed his car up so that he had me cornered up against my car. I was screaming, I was really scared. It took forever for the police to show up. When they showed up they were nice but kind of demeaning. The staff member was mad at me for calling the police because she had to stay late without pay to write a report for the manager. It is really bad that a place like this, right off the highway with so many rooms and such a big parking lot does not have any security at all, and only has one employee on at a time. I feel very frightened, I feel like I was diminished as a person and I feel like the staff and management of this hotel and the whole chain should apologize to me. Another lady who lives in the hotel told me the same guy had shown violence to his wife the staff at the hotel before. So why isn't he thrown out of the hotel? Does Extended Stay America want to be known as a place like that? That they let crazy guys attack women and not toss them out I have to work hard for the money I use to pay for the room, I don't need to pay all that kind of money for someone to treat me like that. The young African American lady who helped me in the afternoon was really nice and efficient.
