LR time of crisis in Mendocino County fires your staff was the best courteous compassionate kind and very loving. But at the same time they were very professional. Your front desk and Motel 6 south employees are stay very fun I hope they get a raise and a good vacation thank you Motel 6 we will always be loyal to you.

I had a good stay. But the front desk was really what made the difference. Paula helped out so much with any of my request. I accidentally booked a smoking room asked to be moved to a non smoking room, she did so without hesitation. Great customer service, I will definitely be back.

We were very disappointed in the room. The strong cleaner smell did not quite hide the smell of pot in the room, both of which persisted throughout the night despite our running the air conditioner. The laminate floor was scuffed and damaged in several parts. The blanket had a cigarette burn hole in it. There were only two bath towels, but no washcloths or hand towels. When we requested more, the front desk told us they didn't have any. There was a cigarette butt laying on the air conditioner unit outside the room, in spite of this being a non-smoking room. Front desk staff was OK but not what we would consider professional. The new Motel 6 showers are WAY too small. One should be able to shower without touching the walls or shower curtain during the entire shower. We have stayed in Motel 6 locations for many years, but this may have been the last time.

Different kinds of hairs on everything. Pillows, sheets, counters, sinks… Seemed like a rough place. The late night food place that was suggested by the front desk person was a Jack in the Box. As we pulled through the drive-thru, about a dozen people in the bushes peeked their heads up at us. It was like a horror movie. When we said something about it, the girl at the window shrugged. Kind of a strange place to send your guests to. As we got back to the room, there was a bunch of Mt. Bikes out in front of one of the rooms. Not like, "going to ride on forest trails in the morning" kind of Mt bikes. More like, "that dude is missing a whole bunch of teeth and seems to be really interested in my car" kind of Mt bike rider. There were condiment packaged under the mattress. That was strange. The cigarette holes in the pillow cases was a nice touch. In the morning, the manager made his rounds pounding on doors, "Hey! This is the management. You have to pack up and get out. If you want to stay, you have to check in at the front desk. If you are not out or have not payed for another night, we will call the cops. " There was a nice coffee spot down the street and a cool donut shop next door. The proximity to the donut shop was the saving grace as to why I gave 2 stars.

It's a Motel 6. Its main attraction is price, and with a low price you get low frills. But this place is a notch above most Motel 6s. And while I didn't use the pool, it was very inviting. Staff was awesome, the room was clean but had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. Opening the window didn't help as there were people smoking right outside. Not the fault of the property.

I'm going to start with saying that the staff was extremely courtesy an helpful. My fiance and I have stayed here before about a year ago an we were happy with the location, staff an just the room itself. We checked in an went to our room, the room was pretty small but ok that's not the end of the world. The bed was extremely uncomfortable almost felt like you were sleeping right on the box springs. My problem was the kind of people who seemed to have taken up residence.

This motel 6 has definitely cleaned up over the past few months has went from slum hotel to somewhere I'd take my family n friends. The pool was amazing on the 90 degree weather days. The staff was super friendly and always willing to help great stay keep up the good work south side motel six ukiah will for sure be booking here next time.

I was very hesitant to stay here. I was soooo pleasantly surprised. Every question answered, attentive staff, and Manager on point. Thanks you Motel 6 staff.

Absolutely fabulous staff! They helped me with all my needs. Gave me recommendations for places to eat and insight to the area! Great time staying here.

Overall the 2-night stay was great. I think the only thing that I have issues with was the parking lot noise. Both nights had loud events that woke us up.

I absolutely love the bright, cheerful attitudes of all the employees from the manager, to the front desk and the maintenance staff. They were more than accommodating and really went the extra mile. I had an emergency and requested late check out and it was not a problem. They really do leave the lights on!

This was the dirtiest, worst Motel 6 I've ever been in. The first room (215) had burn holes in what appeared to be dirty sheets and the TV didn't work. Desk clerk moved us to another room (221) and the bedspread appeared to have couple relation stains on it. The floor and under the bed were dirty and the phone was dirty as well as the table the phone sat on. Under the bed was garbage and the cooler/fan was sio dirty and unclean it caused me to have an asthma episode and I had trouble breathing. The drain in the bathroom had silicone rather than the rubber ring to hold it in place. I intend to send the pictures I took of both rooms to the Motel 6 Corporate people to request a refund. The check in and room move twice took almost 2 hours total and after checking in at 1130pm I was finally able to settle in and relax after a long day of work at 230am. This place is disgusting.

Not to bad of a place to stay. Cheap as well. Friendly service and rooms are kinda cute too.

This place was very mediocre. Small rooms with no furniture to set down on besides the beds which causes matresses to get lopsided from the very small surface area vs weight ratio of a human ass compared to the intended whole bed distribution of a persons heft. Add to this fact, the surly disposition of the night manager and it made for a fairly disappointing stay. It is located in a fairly convenient part of town. Quick access to hwy 101 and close to what passes for goods and services in ukiah.

Over the years, Tom Bodet has never let us down. The accommodations may be a little lack luster compared to other establishments, but it is always the same service. Motel 6 is clean and affordable with up to date rooms. UK I ah didn't let us down, and the staff were super helpful, professional, and cheerful.

I got in late. No problem. You left the lights on… Thank you. The service was excellent. See you next business trip through the area.

It's a pretty average motel stay. You get what you pay for, which in this case is fair. Stayed in 131 for 3 nights. No bugs like a prior review stated. I checked on my first night to be sure (down to the boxsprings). Room was fairly clean. Pillow cases kind of smelled odd, but I wasn't too bothered. They charge for Wi-Fi. Didn't test it out myself though. They have a laundry room, vending machine, public microwave, and ice machine. No fridge (in my room anyway) Neighbors only slightly noisy before 11, but chill as far as motel tenants tend to be. Minor highway noise though. No breakfast or coffee maker in room, but there is one in the lobby. The restaurant next door (be-bops) is legit.

Reliable, reputable and comfortable. Security guarantees safe parking, rooms recently redecorated and kept in good order.

Due to being a college student, I always stay at your motels because your prices are affordable for me. I also appreciate your rooms being free of rodents and insects. The one thing I think you could do to have made my stay better would be to have microwave ovens in your rooms.

Semi-clean rooms, showers can use a little more attention but everything else was clean. Renovated in the last year or so so the rooms look nice and very uniform. There is a dog area in the back with lots of smells for fido. The night receptionist was personable and very pleasant to talk to. I would come back.

Stated at the South State Street location. Staff were incredibly nice, room was clean, price was just over $60ish. One staff member called the room to immediately let me know I had left my debit card up there!

We had a restful stay. We have a well behaved dog and she was as comfy as we were. And speaking of pets, I find it sad that many other pet owners seem to refuse to clean up after them. My dog wouldn't even enter the dog areas because it was very unclean. But we thank you for providing it and furnishing the pick up bags.

I needed a cheap room in Ukiah for a couple nights, so I booked with the Motel 6 in town. The room was clean and the shower was hot and I really felt like I got the value for my dollar. The place where this hotel really exceeds expectations is at the front desk. Jeanne and Annette in particular were very friendly and helpful. The day we were staying was rainy and they had a lot going on but they still took time to make me feel like a five star guest, so they deserve a five star rating!

Checked in early evening into room 131 Week october 27, 2017. By midnight (still awake with light on), the bedbugs started crawling on the bed. Killed one and then several others. Checked out WITH refund. Bathroom floors were filthy. Don't go there. Bed bugs don't just go away they have to be exterminated.

The room was clean, upstairs, non-smoking. It was fairly close to State Street which can be noisy due to vehicles. There is a nice looking pool area in front of this Motel 6, good looking laundry facilities, microwave in a vending machine area. This place was full up according to the checkin manager. I had a problem with loud consistent annoying "white noise" in the night. The noise was moving through the bathroom fan system. I called downstairs to the front desk because of it. The the night manager believed it was probably a neighboring bathroom fan. I was not sure if other occupants had left their bathroom fans on to get rid of smoke in the area from the recent fires. By the time I was in the area though the smoke was gone. Also on this night it rained. The bathroom fan noise in the daytime did not seem so bad either, so I am not positive that this noise was usual or the actual fan system. I heard my neighbor plug in things shortly near the time I turned my lights out; hopefully they did not plug in a generator or strange noise maker in their room. I also had a problem with someone getting into my vehicle — removing a drawstring from a chair bag and placing it into a tub underneath a large glass cider jar full of water which I brought in efforts to buy less water in plastic bottles — when I left for a walk to downtown Ukiah in the evening.

Great room rates compared to other national chains. This was first ever stay at a Motel 6. I wish there a little more amenities in the rooms. Like a dresser for clothes, and may be a coffee machine.

Room 248 — The beds were clean, comfortable, and made up nicely. Enjoyed the roominess — quite large — not cramped. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The overall look of the room was clean. The carpeting had stains all over; the hole for the can light in the ceiling was cut too big and looked like the light would fall out; some of the electrical outlets had no cover plates; TV cable hole was punched through wall with no cover plate; curtain bottom needed heming; curtain rod was starting to come loose from it's mounting.

Motel 6 is pretty standard fare for pet owners, it's why I stay there. I came to the south State St Motel 6 after being turned away by the girl at the front desk of the N State Street Motel 6 across from In-n-Out, telling me that all the 'pet friendly' rooms were booked. That was a first. I've stayed at hundreds of Motel 6' never heard that before. I was feeling ill, 60 miles from home, and needed a room. I drove down State Street to the other Motel 6 across from the Ukiah air strip. I walked in and asked if any 'pet friendly' rooms were available and was told by Virginia (the most upbeat and joyous girl I'd run into in a while) that ALL their rooms are pet friendly. She quickly got me a room which was clean quiet and had amazing air conditioning. I went to get ice and see about laundry and ran into her co-worker (Renee.? ) who was also quite pleasant. The attitude of the staff made me feel like a guest, not a bother who needed to move along. I highly recommend anyone who runs hospitality services to meet the staff at Motel 6 on S State Street by the airport for a primer on how to make people want to return to your business. Incidentally I ended up in the hospital that night and for two subsequent days with major health problems yet they made it easy for an associate to get my two dogs and stuff out of the room, after check out time on day two. I owe this staff a debt of gratitude and a treat.

The staff was polite & helpful. Price at $90 was acceptable. Room was rather small but clean. Everything worked & the bed was comfortable. This was a stop over & we were satisfied with everything. Will stay again if need arises.

The most friendliest Motel 6 I've been to. They are so welcoming when you walk in the lobby. I've extended my stay multiple times because of their great services. Even the housekeepers have such a friendly nature about them. I would recommend anybody looking for a room to book here.

My boyfriend and I had a very decent stay here. Only deducting a star cause people were stomping above us the last night we were there. Very clean room and friendly staff and the pool was very nice. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I travel regularly for work and was very pleased to stay at this hotel where the staff goes out of their way to help and accommodate the customer. The rooms were spotless and everyone was very very friendly and professional. I experienced the kind of customer service you often see in higher end hotels (but even then sometimes it can be lacking). Good job to the staff, I will definitely be back next year.

Arrived at 2 am to a very friendly staff member. The room was clean and looked recently updated. The shower is unique and adequate. There isn't breakfast but they do serve coffee. The pool looks very clean but it was too chilly outside to try it. Overall a good experience and a reasonable $70-ish rate for 4 people.

We love this place. We always come here. Very friendly staff and rooms very clean. Pet friendly motel and they don't charge extra for that. Simple rooms and good price.

The staff alone make this motel a winner. Virginia in the front office is the best. It was also nice to see the carpet in the rooms have been replaced with laminate. Good job! Now all that needs to be fixed is the hard beds. Owe.

Sketchy loud druggy. Disgusting rooms. Tweakers everywhere. Cops roll through constantly. Typical management.

Cops came twice in the first 5 minutes I was here. Girl upstairs locked her boyfriend out and chucked his shoes off the balcony into the bushes. Later a man came to my door and asked me for my ID so he could book a room. The bolt on my door kept getting stuck, the TV doesn't work and the Wi-Fi I paid $5 for was the slowest Wi-Fi on the planet.

Surprised this motel has less than 3 stars. For Motel 6, this is a 10 star place. I love the staff, Kumar the manager is awesome and understanding. Bless this place!

Best price in area rooms are clean and excellent service, lacks some amenities but accepts pets.

I stay here all the time and they call me by my name thats what makes me fill good. And all I have to do is call tell them my name and they know what room I want and its wait for me when I get there I live in humboldt and the price is better then were I live.

Ardeli seems to have reformed, she was cordial. Room was clean. Bed was good. $3 for one internet hookup, and if you travel with 4 devices as we do it's annoying to PAY for hookup and it be limited to a single device at a time. Great idea in 2003, sucks 10 years later Motel 6. Big plus are the dirt cheap rates, less than quoted here. 4 stars less one for the wacked internet policy.

Good, a motel 6 as another. The only downside would be the "regular" inhabitants of the hotel who tend to forget that he is first and foremost a place of passage. (music forte, dogs. ).

Usually very nice. I like the consistency of motel 6 and this is one of the best ones. I wish they had bigger tvs and microwaves. I have stayed at this particular motel over 20 times since 2001 and service is good.
