The room is nice and clean. The shared bathroom down the hall is as small as an airplane lavatory. I can't speak for the rooms with a private bath.

Small and no AC as expected. Kinda loud but again as expected. Overall nice.

New fixtures and beds. Comfy, good deal for price. Close to some great whiskey bars.

I was supposed to arrive at this hotel around 12am-1am by bus, but my bus from LA to Sacramento arrived after my Sacramento to San Francisco bus already left, so I had to stay in Sacramento for the night and this hotel doesn't want to give me a refund. I see reviews of people calling these guys crooks and now I don't doubt it.

Great place to stay at an affordable price. In the heart of downtown San Francisco and easy transit to almost all the tourist attractions.

Nice hotel in a less than nice neighborhood. My only complaint is no bathrooms in the rooms, but shared bathrooms & showers per floor.

Let me preface by saying I love to camp. Roughing has never been an issue for me. That said; This has to be the, absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I got there and within 5 mins I was asking for a refund. Of course they could not accommodate that request. Bed: cardboard and hard as a rock. Ok if you need a firm place to sleep. That says a lot seeing as I willingly sleep on the ground at times. Towels: if you can call them that. Like sandpaper and not even ig enough to wrap around myself. Staff: So they have a rule that you are not allowed to have guest … messed up I know. So because of this rule, when they changed staff… three times in one night, I got stopped every time I left the hotel and came back which is rather annoying. In conclusion: You get what you pay for. This is a cheap alternative but I would have rather camped out under a bridge. Same accommodations sans that harassment.

Awful place to stay. Shared toilet room is dirty and gross even though it is cleaned once a day. The shower is the same way with dirt on the walls and in the window sills, and runs in the shower. Very gross. The beds are hard as a stack of bricks. There is no ventilation and the noise levels in the building permeate the walls. Unfortunately I didn't have a choice as my timing was bad with the Salesforce's Dreamforce event. So it was either stay here at around $200.00 a night (not worth the price) or stay at an actual hotel at over $1000.00 per night.

Excellent location. Comfortable room with 50 inch TV. Refrigerator or microwave. Highly recommended. Very good price.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… On a bit of a scruffy street but the rooms are excellent for the price and the location is perfect. Plus the staff are really friendly and helpful which makes up for some of the scary characters loitering in the street.

Thought it was a good place to stay for a festival, but then they tried to scam us out of our money when we tried to check out. Don't wind up like us, look elsewhere!

ONE OF THE WORST This place does not deserve to be calssified as a hotel. The toilet was blocked and we had to use the shared bathroom. The toilet in the hall is tiny and I had barely enough room to sit down. The staff were very rude and unhelpful and still charged us the full rate for a private bathroom. The plumber never came. The shower had barely enough water pressure to get wet. The place had a weird toxic chemical smell. Overall this was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed in and it is totally overpriced.

Stayed in a very small room with a single bed and a sink. The toilet and shower we're accessable through the hallway which was explained when I booked the room and I had no issues with it. If you are on a tight budget this is a good place to stay not too far from Union Square.

Considering price and location, you cannot go wrong with staying here. It is pretty close to everything such as China Town and much more. There is also yummy Indian food down the street that won't give you the runs.

Cheap hotel for the neighborhood, because aging. The reception is very random according to the employees, some are warm and helpful. Room equipment very convenient for a tourist: fridge, microwave and ironing board. In total a very good value for money in a place loaded with history.

Very cheap place, so you know what you came for. It's in an awful neighborhood where you WILL be scared of being muggedmugged. Their Wi-Fi only accesses Google, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. The staff will enter your bedroom even if you have a do not disturb sign up. I'd recommend spending 50 more bucks at an actual hitelhotel.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff were extremely rude. Room was dirty. So much noise from the creaking floorboards upstairs we could not sleep. They take $250 deposit. Staff seemed more concerned in telling us off than providing any sort of service (we were told three times, make sure your gone by 11am) trust me we couldn't wait to get out of there!

This is a really really bad hotel! Never book or live here. The cashier and all the employees working here are very unfriendly and not reasonable at all. The worst experience ever!

This hotel is nice and well maintained but it's just too much. They are not simple with letting you enter which I understand. Then to check out they need to check the room and they send a reminder 30 mins prior. These are just to extra what they are doing. I mean I get it and it's nice but I just can't deal with this. Overall it's a nice and cozy place to stay in and drama free.

Do not stay at this hotel unless you like dirty unwashed bed linens. As soon as we got there, the first thing I check is bedding. The top comforter had more than a few long black hairs all over it. Also on the sheets under the comforter. I pulled up the fitted sheet to look at mattress and the mattress cover was also covered with hair. It's obvious the housekeepers don't launder and change bedding regularly. There were shared bathrooms on the 5th floor with no garbage cans and dirty toilet paper and feminine products on the floor. Staff never cleaned it up or checked for toilet paper. Outdoors of hotel is dirty and has drug dealers directly across the street. Hanging out and loud all night long. I'll never go back. Friendly staff during my stay but dirty hotel. It doesn't even deserve 1 star.

They have a $250.00 security deposit that is held on your credit card. I was unaware of this until after I paid for my room. I was told I would receive a receipt indicated my account had been credited. Upon checkout no receipt was told they would email it to me. I'm so very nervous about this not to mention have no access to my money. Don't stay at this hotel they have no respect for there guests in their unethical policies.

They are very rude. The shower was broken before I checked in. The refrigerator was very dirty with bad food inside. When I checked out. They asked me why I did not tell them the shower was broken? They said it is my responsibility. Also, we can only check in after 3:00 pm, which is quite inflexible.

Extortion. Indian troll of a woman threatened to call the cops when argued about being charged another 250 for no reason.

Easily the worst hotel going experience in my entire life. The Hotel staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, no fire detector in our room. The hotel elevator was broken for 3 of the 4 days we stayed there. The TV was broken. The Internet was extremely slow and sometimes did not work at all. IT is in easily the skeeviest part of San Francisco and any time we left the hotel we were constantly accosted by the homeless and drug addicts that surround this place. We were charged double what our booking was for originally. The people who run this place are crooks and con artists. Under no circumstances stay at this hotel, you will regret it immensely.

Nazim, and the Indian woman who works there are the rudest people I have ever met in my life. The only person who actually looked you in the eye and did not lie was Kumar. I had to call the San Francisco Police Department to get out of there. They would not cancel my reservation or deposit. The room had no fire detector, the shower was as if in a third world without water. Sheets and room were straight out of a prison movie. Disgusting and so rrrrrrruuuuuuuddddddeeeee. Especially Nazim. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
