I stayed at the Econo Lodge Glendale for 10 days in December 2017. The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. No complaints at all. I didn't really know what to expect. We chose this hotel mainly because of it's location. We wanted to be close to Santa Monica and Hollywood. But I was pleasantly surprised at its cleanliness and I'll stay there again. My only small complaint would be the water pressure in the shower is a little lacking but that's pretty minor to me.

Clean, good size rooms. Front desk was helpful and free continental breakfast. Our room was clean, but the parking lot was small and packed. Decent value for the price of the hotel.

Honestly torn about how to rate this place. Econo is a key word here, but they seem to try to keep things nice. Everything in my room worked (except the phone message light kept flashing). The room was relatively clean (no stains or grime), but I saw two small cockroaches and there was hair on the bathroom floor (both days). Breakfast is cereal, waffles, toast, or instant oatmeal. Better than nothing!

Nick, the manager, is great and has a wonderful way he deals with the people who know, a good manager. Happy motel.

Parking is terrible if you have a larger vehicle. Breakfast not so great, Wi-Fi was amazing according to my teens, room was comfy but a little outdated.

Ok for a cheap night. Place needs refurbishing and cleaning. Noisy. Stayed here for marathon weekend and didn't get much rest. Could be better with improvements.

Lovely motel. Very quiet. Kind staff. Amazing breakfast area. Stayed here overnight for my state board exam. Very pleased with my stay, would highly recommend to anybody visiting Glendale. Sad I only stayed for one night! Great mattress but the pillows are a little weird, not what I'm used to. But still. Great, clean, quiet, worth the money for sure! Went to Thai Touch for dinner while there, just a short walk away!

Our room didn't come with a coffee maker despite it being advertised as having one. Their reasoning is that their lobby has free coffee during the hours it's open. The Wi-Fi is strong and reliable. The shower has the water pressure of a light rain.

A hotel to rest, simple, spacious bed and clean, with frigobar and microwave, does not have that small service of coffee in the room that personally I like very much, has breakfast service included very reduced and the only redeemable would be that there were Natural apples… rest carbohydrates.

The staff are very friendly the place clean and quiet. Economic. Comply with what is agreed in the reserve.

It was a excellent place to stay at. I just did not like the fact that when I called to ask if they had rooms available, I was told that there were and for it being as late as it was (A little before 11pm) that we would receive a 10% discount. Which come to find out was the original price on all of the website. Didn't care that it ws the same price but the fact that he did make me feel some what lucky to get a discount where I would have gotten the same price with expedia or another website.

Do not come to this hotel. I have been coming for years only to realize that the old maid that works there has been giving me DIRTY LOOKS BCUZ SHE IS RACIST. My son is biracial & she has been rude for a long time. So if you're BLACK or BIRACIAL do not come. The beds also break your back if you don't already have a bad back. They watch you like you are a thief. Very uncomfortable.

We stayed 2 nights there. The rooms were clean, they had bed bug covers on the mattresses which was comforting. The staff was nice and answered our questions.

Nice room, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was basic, waffles, cereal and pastries. Would have liked the option of some form of protein, like a hard boiled egg, peanut butter or some yogurt. Friendly and helpful staff.

Not too shabby of a place. It's a bummer that you basically have to pay 10 bucks more a night to be on the bottom floor. Stuck hustling my tools up and down the stairs. You'd think the people would've given me a break since I've been here for a month. Oh and parking sucks ass. But whatever. Good enough. That's my rant.

Great deal in a convenient location. The hotel is a little bit off the highway so the road noise isnt terrible. The walls are thin though so you can hear loud neighbors and trucks drive by. The hotel itself was very quiet and there were no disturbances overnight. Rooms are clean, seem like mostly new fixtures. Bathroom was really clean and shower worked great. All ammenities were in working order. Parking was fine, pretty well enclosed. Overall a great value, but the facility is just a little dated.

I absolutely love staying here. It's affordable and clean (which is really all I ask for). Has a fridge and microwave, which is super helpful when traveling with kids. This is my second time staying and I'll probably choose this hotel again on my next stay in Los Angeles.

Beds were nicely made and clean however hotel over all is not a 5 star resort and if you stay there shouldn't be expected to be such. Hotel cleaning staff turns off A/C so in California heat your room may be warm when you return. Beds are firm.

It was clean, safe and the staff were friendly. The decor is older (let's call it retro) and everything worked. Easy access to Dodger Stadium and downtown Glendale. A value.

We arrived around 11pm. The main office space is closed by there is an easy to access window to check in. It took less than 5 minutes to check in, pay, and get a room key. This place isn't huge, but had enough parking to easily be near our room. The room itself was nice. A big new flat screen TV accompanied the nice bed. It smelled clean and looked the part also. We were very happy with our stay.

This place is clean and the beds are comfortable. This is an old place that has been refurbished but there is only so much that can be done. Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable and the TV isn't hidef. The free breakfast isn't much either, have had much better. All that being said, hotels in the LA area are expensive and this fits the bill if you're looking to save money. It's quiet and convenient to freeways.

Could be a bit more bright and modern but overall it's clean and comfy. Quiet enough to sleep well. The breakfast could be a bit improved, it lacks bagels, yogurts and few more. You won't love it but it has great value for the price.

It's a great place for a short stay. Just to sleep and take a bath. The room was very clean. They offer free breakfast and parking. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Has a great location close to restaurants, grocery store, gas stations and shopping malls.

This is my favorite hotel. The perfect stay for any occasion, and to top it all off their continental breakfast great.

Stayed in Feb. 2016 for 3 nights, room 218. The photos on their website are almost the same except there is no table in a room with a king bed. Clean rooms. When I went to take a bath the 2nd night, there was cold and dirty water in the tub. I called the front desk, they came to see and said they could not do anything and to wait for the next day. It took 1 hour to drain. So no shower or bath even if it had been 85 degrees during the day. The plumber finally came at 3hPM and they told us to move all our stuff to room 217 as the overflow in the bathtub came from an other room. They did not offer a discount or partial refund for changing rooms and for their plumbing problems which force us not to take a bath or shower for 1 night! Breakfast o. K. No fruits.

Hotel grounds neat and clean. Heater worked great. There were enough spaces for all guests.

We always stay at this Econo. The location is very good for us, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the place itself is always welcoming.

Smelled like old women's perfume as soon as we walked in the rooms. The walls were filthy and there were still stains on the table from the last visitors. To top it off, there were roaches in the bathroom. Will never stay here again.

I wouldn't rate this Hotel three stars. I think that for the price I paid it was going to be better. It was ok, but definitely NOT an excellent Hotel. The 1 king bed room had a very loud AC unit, and the second night I had to transfer to the two beds room. One of the bed had a metal bar coming out of the frame. I never experienced that before. Very dangerous situation.
