If I could give — 10, that would be appropriate. The hotel manager is only lier but also thief. We stayed yesterday in a 2bed room 414 which was full of bed bugs. We had to leave room at mid night we had to flee to new room. The situatation was this bad. Full size bed bugs are all over the area. The hotel manager next morning did not meet me until 9.40AM. Took me to the old room (which was cleaned up) and in the carpet some kind of powder was thrown. To my surprise the manager said check your bags it might have came from there. No refund. They offered my discount. I have the pictures and the video of the hotel room having bed bugs. I am absolutely stunned and taken aback by the atrocity of the hotel manager and the crew.

Great place to stay if you are visiting Universal Studios or Walk of fame. Griffith observatory is also very near. The rates are affordable. Rooms and amenities provided were excellent. We chose this place to avoid horrible LA traffic and also because we wanted to stay near Hollywood. Would recommend to anyone who plans to visit Hollywood.

Easy stay — quick check in — only honest complaint I have is the bathroom sink smells BAD when running the water but not the same issue with the shower. Easy remedy is bringing bottled water as we did. Also. No irons, which is kind of ghetto. Outside of this I think it may have met my expectations for a cheap room.

The staff was very helpful and was able to get me a room after an overbooking issue took place. Specfifially their nightly crew. The issue was not their fault. The room was clean and comfy.

When I arrived I was told an additional 100 fee will be added to the card on top of the room fee, equally 245.00 plus an additional fee for parking on the property. Which I did not know a head of time. I asked of the additional fees could be added to a different card. The card was taken and I was told after it was processed the had to return the 145 for the room to my first card and charge the 245 plus parking fees to my new card because they can not process two cards. I was told the additional 100 for cleaning fees would go back to my card after check out. Two days later none of my money is back. A total of 355 dollars was taken out of my cards. When the room is only 145. I called and they were of no help all I was told was the money takes 10 business days to go back. I have schedule Bills to pay before that. I was also kept on hold for 20 minutes thinking I was going to get help but they just told me the same thing. I think they just put me on hold just to do it. Aside from that we got to the room and the a/c only worked on low mode. The room was so hot. I also request extra towels when I booked the room and at the front desk at check in and reserved known. Booking at this location has been nothing but a headache. Also the internet did not work! I planned to do work while I was at the hotel and could not even do that.

Rooms are fine, the hallway smelled like pot and room's breaker box wouldn't stay closed. But for what the rooms are, the price is very reasonable, and is near the freeway for easy access to the city. It's also near a mall with a target if you forgot anything. Will probably stay there again.

Problems started at this hotel at the time of booking. My wife spoke to a gentleman over the phone who booked us at a very reasonable rate. When we got to the hotel they charged us an extra $109 dollars which consisted of $100 for a deposit and $9 parking charge, not at all what was discussed over the phone. The entire hotel seems like it has seen better days, like 20 years ago. The floors were sticky and the elevator smelled like urine and burnt motor oil. When I got to my room I noticed the bed was extremely worn, you could feel the springs when you sat on it. I notified the gentleman at the desk. He gave me a very rude stare and said nothing. Another employee at the desk offered to change me rooms. Normally I would be satisfied; however, it's 1:23 am and I still cannot fall asleep, the second bed is just as worn as the first. Basically, I paid $109 for a hotel room that I cannot sleep in… dispicable!

Very good value for money hotel near all Los Angeles attractions.

Location was convenient for me and the price was low. The restaurant in the first floor was better than I expected and I ended up eating there almost every night for dinner. New parking permit policy was a surprise at check in, $9 a night.

Arrived an hour early for check in, Vivian checked me in early. (thank you! ) The rooms definitely need updating, the ceiling in the bathroom was awful dirty vent we stayed in room 219. Hot water was hit and miss it literally got cold after two minutes had to take a cold shower at 10pm. Rooms don’t have an iron or ironing board you can request one at the front desk. The first iron we brought up didn’t work but we returned for another that did. Forget about watching TV that did not work for us. When I booked I specifically checked for parking charges which for this hotel stated “ free” when I checked in I was told parking was $9.00 a Day! I did tell them that I booked because of free parking they waived the fee. Overall I probably wouldn’t stay again the bathrooms and hot water need attention.

My iphone charger was “MISSING” or stolen inside my room 512 on 3/25 2018 while I went out for dinner between pm5:30-pm7:00. There was house keeping during this period. i call the front desk about it, they said they would call me back in 15 minuets, but they never did. i don’t think I would stay in this hotel ever again.

Big room. Clean. Free parking until the end of March and then it's 9 dollars a day. Comfortable bed. Bar only opens some days.

Who is looking for a simple overnight stay in Los Angeles without a lot of luxury for a reasonable price here is well lifted.

This hotel is a great place. The cleaning crew is very nice and provide the best cleaning service. The prices are fare. It has a great location to the entrance of the 134 freeway. My favorite in Glendale.

Conveniently located to downtown LA and LAX. Clean rooms, courteous staff and lots of amenities. The hotel was quiet and we'll maintained. Beds were not the best (most comfortable) but not the worst I've ever slept on in a hotel. I definitely recommend this location if you're in the area and need a safe, affordable and convenient place to stay.

Perfect for under one hundred dollars. No free breakfast, not a very good TV, and most of the parking is across the street. However, beds & pillows were comfy, bathroom very clean, nice hot water, good fridge and very quiet except for the morning they cleaned the hall carpet at 9am. Very easy freeway access!

I should have put some more point but the truth that the concierge of the night was excessively rude (I almost never value that but it is time to pass the line)
The hotel is well located and is better than u data in typical.

After a week, we flew on to the West Coast for Los Angeles, where we spent several days in Long Beach. As special attractions we found the Oceanliner ' ' Queen Mary ', which is firmly anchored at anchor Iiegt and is also used as a hotel. Furthermore, under a huge dome you could visit the ' ' Spruce Goose ', the giant aircraft of Howard Hughes (Hughes Aircraft).

It's a small inn but had a very warm atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They also have decent and affordable conference/ meeting room you can rent for events as well.

Hallways smelled of smoke. Bed and room was comfortable. Decor was a bit dated. It was close to a work location. Easy to travel to and from.

I give this place 4 stars only because the staff was friendly the hotel was cleaned and the price was affordable, other than that all the finishes are from the 90's. The bed was old and stiff, although they did accommodate and give extra pillows. The couch armrest were actually wore through the material. They do make an effort to maintain the place it is definitely time for an upgrade. And be prepared to unload your luggage and search for a parking spot, other than that oh, yes I would stay here again, especially due to the $96.00 a night room rate.

The hotel is nice, but some rooms need repairs. The undisputable plus of the hotel is the low cost of long-term accommodation! On the 1st floor of the good Pioneer cafe where good and inexpensive breakfasts.

Room was good but hotel feels old and slight odor. Could use some modern renovations. Cafe inside had pretty good food.

We liked the hotel for the price. Staff was nice and checked in a group of 16 very fast. Area is safe and Secure.

This is a clean hotel. It is old so you can expect old rooms. But it is clean and had very nice helpfull staff. Solid 4 star.

We planned to do a tiny surprise birthday party for my friend after our seminar at Days Inn. I was afraid that the cake I prepared would melt in the car. The staff was really nice agreeing to keep the cake for me in their fridge. I appreciate the staff going out of her way to help guests who only attend social events like us.

Everything was great! Housekeeping was excellent… Everytime we came back from our tourist sights our room was spotless. Great job housekeeping! Also the staff was absolutely accomodating. We had to change rooms because our air conditioning was not working properly but they made it happen. Maintenance had to be called to fix the broken air conditioning and they showed up immediately. Great job to all of your staff at this location days inn! I would definitely return.

Really nice staff, my room was really great. Great room service upon request. Pool and Jacuzzi available. Built a heck of a structure but the parking lot situation was poorly thought of. Other than that it was great experience and not a bad deal compared to staying some Where else in LA. Very reasonable pricing.

The hotel needs some renovation. The lobby looks nice but once you go through the halls, you realize it's a budget hotel. There is 2 elevators but only one works. The re is no sign on the broken one saying it's broken so you wait there forever. There is an entrance by the pool that is unlocked with a room key. It's the closest to the back parking lot which you can only get a spot if you're back before 8pm. Otherwise, you park across the street. We were not on our hotel most of the time because we went to universal studios which is a close drive about 20 minutes away. We had a king bedroom and there is a couch with a pull out bed that is the size of a queen. The bathroom looked clean but I'm thinking it wasn't cleaned because I lifted the toilet seat and there was pee stains. I don't mind because I take clorox with me and I re clean any bathroom or surface we may touch. The bathtub had a clog because the water would not go down. For the price and location, I would stay here again. I know I'm not paying for 5 star hotel and this one was not so bad. Also, the restaurant downstairs serves a good quality breakfast for a cheap price. We ate here 2x. The wait is a little of you go when there's a lot of people like 11 am but it's worth not having to drive around and the price is good.

The price was good but there are many issues. The staff are very nice and helpful. The building on the outside looks great but the hallways to the rooms smell like motor oil. The carpet is new. The elevator needs to be cleaned and updated. The elevator is also very slow. No free breakfast. The restaurant in the hotel is not good. I'd rather go to IHOP. The rail on our balcony is loose you could fall to your death. The bed is hard as a rock. The wall paper is torn in our room. Parking is crazy, we had to park across the street and walk across to the hotel. They have a lot there. I believe this is because a part of the hotel is actually apartments. This also might explain some of the other guest behavior. I'm going to sleep on the couch tonight and see if it is better than the bed.

Location of the hotel is great. But I'd pass on this one if you are staying for any length of time, or if you need Wi-Fi. # I stayed here for three nights. Service was okay. Staff were polite, but not entirely helpful. My room smelled very smokey. It affected my sleep. Staff assured me that smoking was not permitted, but they were unable to find a new room for me. My room was clearly an old apartment or long-stay hotel room in a previous life. The electrical plugs were in strange places and the furniture was oddly placed. This is normally a minor issue but, half of the lamps were unplugged and I had to charge by phone by dangling it from a wall outlet ~4ft up the wall. My room was generally clean but very well worn. The Wi-Fi speed. Ahhhh the Wi-Fi speed! In the last 10 minutes of me writing this review, my average download speed (from mostly reading news online) was roughly 20 kbit/s. That's about half the speed of a "56k" modem in 1998. My point is that the Wi-Fi is very very slow.

My room was clean and didnt smell weird like some places do. The bathroom wasnt bad just our bathroom door was a little messed up but other than that everything was clean as well.

Screw this place. I called and was put on hold and then a resident picked up twice asking if I could help him. I called again and then the front desk guy said he would not honor the group discount code I had and said best he could do is 10 percent. This place is poorly run and that was before the took my money. I cannot imagine how bad it would be after. Screw you Days Inn. You are lucky you are closest to the venue I need to be, but instead of staying at your crap hole, I am going to just get a more customer friendly place that is a little further up. I really hope that others will read my experience and think twice about staying there.

We stayed for 2 nights during our trip to Universal Studios. Pros: Cheapest option we could find near universal, ~12 minutes from universal, comfy beds (slept like a rock), nice service, clean room (besides the ceiling in the shower…). Cons: No free continental breakfast, questionable elevators, location seemed questionable, and the place was kind of low quality.

Decent hotel near downtown Glendale, the inside is ok, the service is ok. It's one of those hotel I wouldn't spend too much time in, maybe a few nights, but that's it.

The hotel is very clean, the staff is very professional. They have vending machines that come in handy if you don't want to go out. The restaurant does not open terribly early, so if you are out by 7:00 am, no breakfast for you.

The hotel is right off the freeway, so it is easy to find. The rooms seemed clean, but there weren't any liners in the trash cans. There are signs in the bathroom reminding guests of the drought, but the faucet in the tub leaks and the knobs are loose so it is hard to shut-off the water and adjust the temperature. If you want to park your car, expect to park across the street. There isn't enough parking at the hotel.

Expensive for a hotel where the "newly renovated" room looks like it was done in 1989. Front parking lots has about 10 non-handicapped parking spots for six story motel. Only one elevator worked. Room had no pk! ugs near work area just four outlets on well by bathroom that would not hold a charger they just fall out. Check in clerk was obsessed with getting my license plate and threatening my with towing unless she got it. Stay away.

Good things first: nice, helpful staff and a free shuttle to airport which I actually managed to book, but chances of getting it looked a bit iffy at first. On the minus side: the tiny balcony of my room was connected to a huge roof work of pipes and I don't know what-all, and after 8 a. M. Every morning it started roaring. I had to use earplugs. I asked to change the room but the only other one available was right above mine so I figured it wouldn't make much difference. General decor of hotel is east-bloc crumbling soviet, grubby and mired. (For example: couches in lobby as if from Goodwill). Part of it is used for "extended stay" which a sign says is not connected to the Day's Inn but the sad and sleazy folks patronizing it are all over the hotel, also they use the pool and hot tub which don't look clean and are way too full of chlorine. Hotel also has a bummy looking dive bar and a restaurant that looks very depressing, All in all this is sort of like the inn-at-the-end-of-the-world. I don't recommend it. If I'd been paying a low enough room-rate to expect a dump I wouldn't be writing anything here, but the room rate led me to expect something much better.

No parking, no sign for visitor parking, no manor, very rude, just because I asked them why there is no sign for visitor parking and I am driving around and can't find any place to park and then I asked for non-smoking room, Jasmin told me because I was rude she is not going to give me non-smoking room and for that night she punished me to stay in smoking room and Rick wasn't helpful either and there wasn't any night manager to complain. What a stinky night and I don't recommend this hotel to any one. Even their printer didn't have ink and I couldn't print my documents and they told me that's it and there is something wrong with my documents and their printer is ok.

We stayed there and first impressions were good. The staff appeared nice but aloof from customers concerns unless we nagged them into hearing us out. Our room itself was old school — the curtains, table, chairs, flooring. Gave that creepy nostalgic feel. There appears to be some vice activity. Suspect drugs,. Outlandish skimpily dressed females wearing way too much makeup, visitor activity at all hours. High priced in proportion to whats there.

Good hotel to stay in. The room was a decent size. I ordered breakfast from the restaurant in the hotel and it was good. The halls did smell like cigarret smoke on the 6th floor. The tv's need to be upgraded. They had old box tv's. Besides that, overall it was a good place to stay.

My absolute favorite dive bar in all of Glendale! I first went here a little over a year ago with some friends and completely fell in love with the place. I'm not sure if it was the 80's new-wave music that was playing, the movies they had projected on that giant screen in the back, or the Halloween decorations around the bar that they never take down. Or maybe it was all of the above. All-in-all: completely low-key atmosphere, awesome happy hours, and great music and movies for your enjoyment. Hell, this may just be my favorite bar, period.

I stayed with my friend for one night and I literally have no complaints. I'm a big baby and a whiner so believe you me when I say this hotel is wonderful. The staff were very polite and helpful, its located perfectly near walking distance of the mall. The neighborhood surrounding is nice, the room was well kept and cleaned, NO BUGS WHATSOEVER. I had a pleasant stay and I would definitely book a room again.

SERIOUSLY, PLEASE READ THIS! I just have to say, the majority of negative reviews on this site are totally bogus. I booked this hotel through travelocity due to its location (as we wanted to be fairly close to all attractions of LA/Hollywood etc) and of course the price. We planned this vacation on a whim and I did my research AFTER booking. I clicked on the low star ratings because I wanted to be prepared for the possible cons of this hotel. I saw things that practically had me terrifed to stay here. When we arrived onsite, I was more than pleasantly surprised! The desk crew were wonderful and our room was originally booked through travelocity as a smoking room, but we are non smokers. We asked the front desk if we could have a non smoking room and they were able to accomodate us with our request. We arrived to our room and it was clean and smelled fresh. Yes, the furniture is a little outdated, but WHO CARES? I checked all of the sheets and mattresses and they were all clean and bug free. The bathroom was clean and the ONLY complaint that I would have is that the bathroom fan was not working. But in the big picture, that was not a huge issue. I have seen complaints all over this review site and I just want to get a couple of things straight per MY VISIT. Claim of Bugs (cockroaches and bed bugs) — We did not see a single bug in our entire hotel room Claim of Dirty Rooms — our room was spotless.

Blast from the past is definitely the word! The rooms do smell as well as the elevators. They haven't updated this place from the 1960s or 70s. My fiancé found a roach in the bathroom. The bathroom! For $400, they can do better.

This is absolutely the worst place a family can stay in. Smells like an ash tray and weed. Rooms look like a blast from the past. Not good. Had to cancel the rest of my stay and pay more somewhere else. Don't stay here. Gross.

Great for the price! The staff goes above and beyond to help you which is rare these days! Hotel is nice. Its not very upgraded but its clean, inexpensive and area felt safe! There is a lil hotel bar which has very basic selections but just enough and again inexpensive! A pool table jukebox and several tables gave it a nice vibe! :) They also have an attached restaurant that also delivered room service its menu was vast and extremely reasonably priced! It took 15-20 nins to get to hollywood and highland from our location not tok bad! Pool and jaquzzi which were beautiful! Overall this place is pretty amazing for tthe price a little hidden treasure! :) :).

Not bad for a Days Inn! Decent rooms and the staff was nice! Expected a dive but it wasn't bad at all but remember you get what you pay for so don't expect anything fancy! Also, if you weigh more than 90-100 lbs bring your own towels. LOL! The ones here are tiny.
